Bruiser Wolf Turns His On The Radar Freestyle Into New Single “Brick Up”

Danny Brown is one of the most unique rappers around so it’s no surprise that the crew he rolls with is full of just as interesting artists. His Bruiser Brigade group has a few underrated fan favorites, though few are as beloved as Bruiser Wolf. The rapper first debuted back in 2021 with his album Dope Game Stupid. The project emerged as a fan favorite quickly though it took Wolf a full three years to follow-it up. Last month, he released his highly anticipated second album My Story Got Stories. The project led off with the wild song “2 Bad” which features standout performances from Danny Brown and Zeelooperz.

Now, Wolf is following up his new album much quicker, though just with a new single. Earlier this week he unleased the new single “Brick Up.” The song is a bouncy display of his unique lyrical style and unmistakable vocal delivery. It’s actually adapted from his On The Radar Freestyle which dropped a few weeks ago. The video of his freestyle had already racked up more than 7k views before the song dropped as a single. Bruiser Wolf’s Wordy New Single

Last year, Bruiser Wolf appeared on one of the most acclaimed rap albums of the year. Danny Brown dropped his new record Quaranta just a few months after the release of his JPEGMAFIA collab album Scaring The Hoes.

Bruiser Wolf teamed up with Danny on the fittingly narrative song “Y.B.P.” A few weeks after the release of the album the song got its own music video. Meek Mill Wants To Help The Mayor Of Philly Fight Gun Violence After Shooting

Earlier this week, a violent shootout took place in Philadelphia. Six children were injured in the incident with two still in critical condition. As somebody who has always been invested in the health of his community, Meek Mill has been following the situation closely. “If you black or brown talk about this. It’s kids that’s gonna pick up guns because they think they gonna die b4 they turn 21 for a gun license! You will go from Xbox to Glock because of your environment … and get locked up for trying to survive it it’s terrible!” he said in a Tweet about the situation.

But that wasn’t all he had to say about the tragic shooting. He also offered to reach out to the Mayor in an attempt to help dissuade future gun violence. “I wanna help her especially with education … I have dreams of working with the Yas foundation with dream chasers academy to offer these kids resources with technology and to travel outside of that environment to understand life! I’m in on reform ima join helping with education!” a follow-up tweet read. Meek is no stranger to getting involved in social justice, political, and charitable causes. French Montana has had a fascinating few weeks as far as sales numbers go. It started back in January when he announced his new album Mac & Cheese 5. He sold vinyl editions of the album for just $5, leading many fans to purchase copies who might not have otherwise. That turned out to be the first of a few tactics used to try and boost the total sales numbers of the album. But the most notable tactic came from its various releases on streaming services.

Platforms like Spotify and Apple Music got numerous versions of Mac & Cheese 5. In addition to the regular version of the album he also shared a Sped-Up version, slowed-down version, instrumental version, acapella version, and deluxe edition. All of those versions were additionally compiled together into a massive 126-track “Versions” album. The move was roundly criticized online and Montana was forced to defend his move, but didn’t do a great job at convincing fans. Now some new comments he’s making about streaming numbers have fans rolling their eyes in the wake of his move. Check out the remarks he made below.

In a recent interview, Montana claimed that artists are being “brainwashed” to try and get the highest possible streaming numbers. Additionally he expanded on his point saying that it’s changing the way people make music. “It’s taking the love out of music. People are not making the music that they love no more. People are chasing those numbers.”

The comments look even more hypocritical in the wake of his alleged vinyl fraud. Fans who ordered the $5 vinyls back in January are reporting that they were never received.
