BIA And Lil Yachty’s ‘Pissed Off’ Video Airs Out Some Of Their Rap Grievances

BIA and Lil Yachty vow dire consequences for anyone who irks them in the video for their new collaboration, “Pissed Off.” “Somebody just pissed me off, where’s the switch?” she intones on the chorus, making it sound very much like hot lead will be flying at any moment. And just in case there was any doubt of her intentions, this is how she opens her verse: “Somebody gon’ die today / This sound like Jeff in the ride today / I make it slip if she slide today / It’s on the seat of my right-side / Kissing you bitches goodbye today.”

The tag-team is BIA’s third high-profile collab with an Atlanta rapper in 2024; in June, she teamed up with JID for “Lights Off,” while in July, she and Flau’jae appeared on Culture Jam’s latest compilation with Lakeyah on “Can’t Get Enough.” Like plenty of her rapper peers, the Beantown native has plenty to be pissed off about this year, too.

In March, BIA got into it with Cardi B over the shared Missy Elliott sample that appeared in both rappers’ new singles. Supposedly, Cardi took shots at BIA on her “Wanna Be Remix” verse, while BIA clapped back with “Sue Meee.” In June, Cardi made mentions of “opps,” and fans were sure it was a reference to BIA, so her latest will almost certainly be interpreted as a Cardi diss, as well. 2025 can’t get here soon enough.

Moneybagg Yo Returns With Hard-Hitting Deluxe Album “Speak Now Or”

Moneybagg Yo is unrelenting. The rapper has a rapid fire flow that manages to keep pace with the extremely hard-hitting instrumentals he chooses. Speak Now was a showcase of this talent. Moneybagg Yo’s fifth album managed to keep up the energy despite its lengthy tracklist, thanks to varied features like Morgan Wallen, Chris Brown and Lil Durk. Moneybagg is back to build on the solid foundations of his latest album. Speak Now Or, the deluxe version of his June release, features seven brand new songs. Longtime fans are going to be pleased.

Speak Now Or is not an instance of songs being tacked onto the end, either. Moneybagg Yo completely switches up the tracklist and rearranges songs. The result is an album that plays very different than its predecessor, and for the better. One could argue that the album starts off even stronger thanks to the one-two punch of new songs “SUM TO HATE ON” and “RAP N****S.” The latter is particularly catchy thanks to its bouncy instrumental and earworm flow. Moneybagg also has fun rapping with Bossman Dlow on the stylish banger “OUTTA TOWN.” There’s also “ON GOD,” which sounds absolutely epic thanks to its faint, horn-accented beat and ominous piano keys.

J. Cole Goes ‘Blow For Blow’ With Tee Grizzley As He Continues Latest Feature Hot Streak

When in doubt, get back to basics. After suffering an embarrassing miscue earlier this year, J. Cole appears to have taken this advice to heart, setting aside attempts to compete with top-grossing peers like Drake and Kendrick Lamar in favor of issuing eyebrow-raising guest verses alongside collaborators such as Daylyt, ASAP Rocky, Tems, and Cash Cobain. You can now add Tee Grizzley to that list. J. Cole goes back in his feature verse bag, tag-teaming a frenetic Pi’erre Bourne production with the Detroit native on “Blow For Blow.” In the accompanying video, two rappers perform on a rooftop while Grizzley gives out game (and hundred-dollar bills) in the hood.

It’s good to hear Cole having fun on records again after his miscalculation in stepping into the match between Drake and Kendrick this spring. Issuing “7 Minute Drill” and retracting it within the span of a weekend turned out to be the rap equivalent of a wrestler running down to the ring with a steel chair in one hand and the Money In The Bank briefcase in the other, only to face plant directly into the case, and sheepishly head back to the locker room without so much as flashing the contract for the championship match. Fortunately, he’s got a tried-and-true recovery plan, and if this current run he’s on turns out to be as impactful as the one from 2022, the hype for The Fall Off won’t suffer too much from his earlier faux pas.

The Weeknd And Playboi Carti Aim To Become ‘Timeless’ With Their New Single

Playboi Carti has become one of the most in-demand featured artists in music this year, signing on for collaborations with Camila Cabello and Travis Scott, popping out for Lana Del Rey’s Coachella-headlining set, and now, teaming up with The Weeknd for the second single from Abel’s upcoming album, Hurry Up Tomorrow. The new song is the two artists’ first collaboration since 2023’s “Popular” with Madonna.

The Weeknd first revealed the cover art for Hurry Up Tomorrow on September 7 after teasing the new album for months before. In July, he posted a video to social media that declared “there are three chapters to this tale,” leading to speculation that his then-rumored album would constitute the capstone to a trilogy made up of his last two releases, After Hours and Dawn FM. Then, he shared a second screenshot from another eerie video, furthering the mystery and the anticipation for the announcement. Finally, he dropped the video for the lead single, “Dancing In The Flames,” seemingly building on the overarching narrative from the past four years. We’re looking forward to seeing what it all means when Hurry Up Tomorrow is finally out.

The Weeknd And Playboi Carti Transcend With New Single “TIMELESS”

The Weeknd and Playboi Carti have really dominated the month of September. Both artists dropped singles after anticipated hype cycles for their upcoming albums. In the case of Playboi Carti, it was the first new music fans had heard since 2020. The notion of getting two songs in one month would have seemed like an impossibility just a few short weeks ago. Yet, here we are. The Weeknd and Carti have dropped their joint single “TIMELESS,” and it lives up to its lofty title. The song is bassy, catchy, and a perfect blend of both artists’ singular styles.

The Weeknd takes center stage, which makes sense given that he’s been doing most of the promo. He absolutely skates over the beat with verses and a chorus that harkens back to his Trilogy aesthetic. This is most evident around the 1:50 mark, when his soaring vocals perfectly mess with the drums. It sounds great. The synth work littered throughout “TIMELESS,” though, feels more indebted to Playboi Carti and the music he’s been teasing. He gives the song a much more dangerous and gritty feel than Weeknd’s previous single, “Dancing In the Flames.” He also moves away from the Future-like flow and cadence he busted out on “ALL RED.” Carti sounds more discernibly Carti here, and it plays to the song’s benefit.

Takeoff’s Brother Checks Offset For Mentioning His “Twin” In Twitter Rant

It has been a roller coaster week for Offset. The Migos rapper started things off strong, securing his first ever Diamond plaque for his appearance on Tyga’s “Taste.” The same day he got his plaque, though, his ex, Cardi B exploded on social media. She took to Instagram to air out their personal issues. They hurled insults at each other in the comment section. At one point, Cardi even posted screenshots of NSFW texts between her and Offset. It was a lot. And it kept going the next day.

Offset fired off a few angry tweets on Thursday morning. One of them alluded to the fact that he should have heeded the advice of those around him. Presumably, with regards to his relationship with Cardi B. “Listen to your ppl take and the bros TOld me,” he wrote. It seemed harmless enough. Offset wound up sparking another social media confrontation, though. YRN Lingo, the younger brother of Migos rapper Takeoff, didn’t like what Offset had to say. He called out Offset for alluding to Takeoff, and told him to think twice before involving the late rapper in personal drama.

YRN Lingo Urged Offset To Let His Brother Rest

“My brother ain’t tell him sh*t,” YRN Lingo wrote on Instagram. “Let my twin rest.” The comment makes sense when considering the strained relationship Offset had with Takeoff at the time of his death. They had a falling out around 2022, which led to the dissolution of Migos. Offset went solo, and Takeoff and Quavo started recording as a duo. It’s worth noting that Offset was not related to the other members of Migos. Takeoff avoided talking about the split during interviews, but Quavo made it clear that they were not close with the third member following the split.

“I just feel like we want to see our career as a duo,” Quavo told Revolt TV in 2022. He also threw shade at the lack of family ties between them and Offset. “We just came from a loyal family,” the rapper asserted. “Sh*t that’s supposed to stick together. And sometimes, when sh*t don’t work out, it ain’t meant to be.” Despite their falling out, Offset admitted that Takeoff’s death emotionally affected him. “That sh*t hurts,” he told Variety in 2023. “Some things I don’t never tell nobody. He’s not here.” We hope the Migos rapper catches a break in the near future. Maybe he should take a break from social media.

Diddy’s Lawyer Alleges That Diddy’s Hostile Treatment Is Racially Motivated

Diddy’s fame and fortune has not helped him as of late. The Bad Boy founder has been treated with hostility by the federal officers who arrested and the courts. He has been denied bail twice, and been relegated to the hostile Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, has tried tirelessly to improve his client’s conditions. He’s tried several different media spins, and how he’s claiming that Diddy is being unjustly prosecuted on the basis of his skin color.

Agnifilo is one of the talking heads who appear in the new TMZ documentary The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment. As the title suggests, the doc details the legal proceedings that have played out over the last few weeks. Agnifilo alleged that the feds targeted his client because he is a “successful Black man.” The lawyer makes the unfounded claim that the feds have been after Diddy for years. He suggests that Diddy was clean on the business and tax side of things, so law enforcement turned towards the bedroom. Marc Agnifilo even pointed to the indictment of New York City Mayor Eric Adams to support his theory.

Agnifilo Claims Diddy Has Been A Fed Target For Years

Mayor Adams was indicted on federal charges on September 25. The politician attempted to frame his indictment as a consequence of his skin color. As he prepared to speak in front of a crowd on Thursday, however, a man in the crowd called him out. “This is not a black thing,” the man yelled. “This is a YOU thing, Eric Adams. Your policies are anti-Black. You are a disgrace to all Black people in this city…” The clip quickly went viral. The exchange certainly does little to support the “racism against Diddy” claims. Ironically, Adams was the man who gave Diddy a key to the city in 2023.

Despite this alleged persecution, Agnifilo told TMZ documentarians that Diddy is eager to take the stand in his trial. “I don’t know that I could keep him off the stand,” the lawyer asserted. “think he is very eager to tell his story.” Agnifilo also suggested that Diddy’s words would alter the way the public views him. “I think he will tell every part of his story,” he added. “Including what you see on the video.”

Diddy Party Photos Featuring Nude Woman Buffet Resurface Amid Legal Battle

Amid Diddy’s ongoing legal battle, the public has been looking back on the mogul’s past through a harsher lens than ever. He’s currently facing various charges, which could land him as much as a life sentence if he’s found guilty. For now, he remains at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he awaits trial.

In the meantime, TMZ has dug up some old photos from one of his infamous parties in 2004. Will Smith, Diana Ross, Owen Wilson, and more can be seen enjoying the Miami event, which doesn’t seem to have gotten too wild. The photos show a buffet with a nude model at the center, however. The outlet notes that this wasn’t out of the ordinary at the time.

The photos surface just in time for the outlet’s new documentary, The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment, which drops tonight on Tubi. Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo even participated in the doc. He told the outlet whether or not his client plans to take the stand when the case goes to trial.

“I don’t know that I could keep him off the stand,” Agnifilo claimed. “I think he is very eager to tell his story and I think he will tell every part of his story, including what you see on the video. So I expect it’s going to be explained by the both of us.” What do you think of photos from one of Diddy’s parties in 2004 resurfacing amid his legal battle? Are you surprised by them or not? Diddy Couldn’t Get 1,000 Bottles Of Baby Oil From Costco, According To The Company, Which States It Doesn’t Even Carry The Product

Big-box warehouse chain Costco wants nothing to do with a report connecting it to beleaguered mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, releasing a statement denying that he made his bulk baby oil purchase at its stores. After Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo argued in a press conference that Diddy purchased the unseemly amount of lubricant at Costco for threesomes, rather than the infamous “freakoffs” that have been central to the government’s sex trafficking case against him.

However, according to TMZ, a spokesperson for the company issued a statement denying such a thing would even be possible, as none of its 614 warehouses even carries baby oil, let alone in such massive quantities. TMZ also investigated direct competitor Sam’s Club and even checked for similar products that might explain the mention of baby oil in the feds’ indictment, but there were no other products similar to what was described in the documents. With no stores selling baby oil in bulk, the mystery of the origin of Diddy’s impressive (and gross) collection remains unclear.

What is clear, however, is that corporate entities are understandably uneager to be associated with the producer after he spent the year being sued by 11 separate plaintiffs for sexual misconduct, then arrested and charged with racketeering and sex trafficking.

Adin Ross Clowns Kendrick Lamar Affiliates Who Allegedly Banned Him From LA

Adin Ross carries weight in the rap game. At least, from a clout perspective. The Kick streamer has become one of the premiere sources for teasing music and hyping up new releases. Ross’ affiliations, however, have allegedly landed him in hot water with the West Coast. The streamer relationship with Drake has led to claims that he’s not welcome in Los Angeles. Ross clapped back at these claims, however, and asserted that he was welcome to go wherever he pleases.

Adin Ross clarified his L.A. credentials on September 26. The Kick streamer posted a video alongside former YouTuber Sneako and made it clear he wasn’t scared. “I’m not banned from L.A.,” he asserted. “I wish somebody would. Swear to God, I’m gonna go to L.A. nobody’s gonna do sh*t to me. I promise you bro.” Ross went on to inform viewers that he used to live in Los Angeles, and has no concerns about what will “happen” to him if he decides to return. “You think I’m scared of L.A,” he questioned. “I lived in L.A. for years.” The streamer’s indignation only grew from there.

Adin Ross Assures Fans He’s Not ‘Scared’ Of L.A.

Ross referenced the alleged Kendrick Lamar affiliate who suggested he wasn’t welcome, and threatened to sick his security on the man. “I’ll smack the sh*t out of you,” he stated. “Well, not me. I’m gonna have security smack the f*ck outta you.” Sneako then interrupted and jokingly assured viewers he likes Bloods and Crips equally. He also described Kendrick Lamar’s classic debut, good kid, m.A.A.d city (2012), as a “decent” album. Adin Ross brought the focus back to the affiliate who allegedly told him to steer clear of L.A.

The streamer stated that he is going to stand by his opinions on the Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar beef. He’s going to ride with the former, and urged the L.A. affiliate to focus on more substantial things. “Go start a family,” he mockingly suggested. “Go play poker or chess… You’re old. Get off the internet sh*t, it’s not for you buddy.”
