Drake Shows Love To Houston While Promising “Another Classic” During Concert

If you recall the early days of Drake’s career, you know that Bun B and Houston were instrumental to his rise to superstardom. As such, he always makes sure to show the city the same love that they’ve shown him, and now we know that said respect fuels him to drop the best music possible. Moreover, as you probably know, the Toronto native recently delayed his highly anticipated album For All The Dogs to an early October release. During a show in H-Town, part of his It’s All A Blur tour with 21 S*vage, he spoke to the crowd about their history and the upcoming project.

“They say I’m from Toronto, Canada, but we might have to check the hospital records,” Drake remarked to the thousands of cheering fans. “‘Cause y’all show me too much love in the H-Town, I love y’all for real. I got my album coming out for y’all October 6. I know I pushed it back, but it’s for good reason. ‘Cause I’m trying to represent for the H-Town like I always do. Another classic on the way.”

Drake Has “Another Classic” On The Way, He Tells His Second Home

Of course, even with no new information being revealed here, this is still enough to hype fans up even more for For All The Dogs. What’s more is that this was the 36-year-old’s second show in Houston, the first of which welcomed special guest Johnny Manziel. The Texas-born quarterback had the whole crowd going wild, and it’s one of many examples of Drake acknowledging his strong bond with the city. If not that, then he’s paying Bun B a visit to his Trill Burgers restaurant in H-Town, always giving one of his mentors his flowers.

Meanwhile, It’s All A Blur will likely continue to yield special moments, guests, performances, and more during its trek. There are only a few shows left, as things wrap up just a few days after For All The Dogs drops in Columbus, Ohio. We’ll see what else OVO and Slaughter Gang have in store to finish their journey with fireworks. On that note, stay up to date on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Drake.

Drake Pushed Back ‘For All The Dogs’ To October To Avoid Canceling Shows: ‘I Owe You All These Memories’

Drake‘s It’s All A Blur tour with 21 Savage has proven to be one of the buzziest tours of the year. From collecting bras and undergarments onstage, to offering to fly fans back home first class, the It’s All A Blur tour has been making headlines all summer. Over the course of the tour, Drake has been teasing his upcoming album, For All The Dogs, and finally shared its lead single — “Slime You Out” with SZA — yesterday (September 15).

But last night, following the second Dallas show, Drake took to his Instagram story to reveal that For All The Dogs will be arriving later than its originally planned September 22 release date.

“Okay my dilemma I’m faced with is I either cancel shows to finish the album, or I complete the mission and drop the album before the last show,” he said. “I owe you all these memories we are building and anywhere we have missed to date, we will be spinning back for sure.”

Thankfully, we won’t have to wait too much longer. In the story, Drake revealed For All The Dogs‘ new October release date.

“Its only right…,” he said.

Drake Pays For Fan’s Flight Back To Japan, Announces “For All The Dogs” Delay

It’s been a mixed day of stories for Drake fans. First up is a heartwarming story out of Dallas. During the It’s All a Blur concert in the city, Drake spotted a fan holding a up a sign that claimed they had flown all the way from Japan to see the tour. “You came here from Japan for the show? You know what … we flyin’ you home first class back to Japan. We love y’all. I’ve never been to Japan, but you came to me. So that’s love. That’s what life is about. You got to show love,” Drake told the fan.

The story was relayed to the rest of the world by awe-struck fans on Twitter. “There was a couple that flew to my show from Japan. Drake saw their sign and is flying them home first class. He said he’s never been to Japan and it meant a lot that they spent their hard earned money to fly across the world for him,” one fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter. However, the other recent Drake story will be less exciting for fans.

Drake Delays For All The Dogs Until October

According to an Instagram post from Drizzy himself, fans will have to wait a while longer for For All The Dogs. “Okay my dilemma I am faced with is I either cancel shows to finish the album or I complete the mission and drop the album before the last show. I owe you all these memories we are building and anywhere we have missed to date we will be spinning back for sure. For All The Dogs October 6th. It’s only right…,” Drake wrote on Instagram. October 6 is the date of his first show in Toronto, the third-from-last show of the tour.

Unfortunately, that means that 21 Savage will not be present for the launch concert, or the next-day concert. Due to visa issues, Savage is not allowed to leave the United States. This means he has been unable to attend the various Canadian shows on the tour. It’s All a Blur ends in Columbus on October 9. Are you willing to wait until October 6 for For All The Dogs? How are you feeling about the album in general? Let us know in the comments below.

Drake Used A Picture Of Halle Berry For ‘Slime You Out’ And She Said It Was ‘Not Cool’ Without Permission

Just a few hours after Drake dropped his “Slime You Out” collaboration with SZA, actress Halle Berry has some thoughts. Specifically, she took to social media after finding out the Canadian rapper used her photo to promote the track without permission.

The photo is of Berry covered in slime, which actually happened at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. Her Instagram post was a simple photo that read: “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy… Even if you’re a woman!”

Berry then replied to a fan who flat out asked her what she thought about it — and she did not hold back. “Didn’t get my permission,” she said. “That’s not cool I thought better of him!”

“Hence my post today,” Berry added with a second comment. “When people you admire disappoint you, you have to be the bigger person and move on.”

After the news broke, fans on social media pointed out that it’s not even used as the actual single cover, but Drake’s For All The Dogs album art is. Still, others get where she’s coming from. “The wild part is that Halle Berry probably would’ve been cool with Drake using her photo if he would’ve just asked,” wrote one user.

Drake And SZA Come Full Circle On Their New ‘For All The Dogs’ Collab, ‘Slime You Out’

Once lovers, now musical collaborators: At midnight tonight (September 15), Drake and SZA have released a new collaborative single, “Slime You Out.”

Drake first hinted that he and SZA dated on his 21 Savage collab “Mr. Right Now” back in 2020. Last year, upon the release of her sophomore album, SOS, SZA confirmed they dated, but they remain on good terms.

But in the past few weeks, several fans have taken to TikTok to share theories suggestion that Drake and SZA have been hiding secret messages to each other in their songs over the course of their entire music careers.

On “Slime You Out” Drake steps back into his R&B bag, as he croons over what sounds like a slowed-down Jersey Club beat.

Drake seems to be reminding a woman about how he’s spoiled her, singing, “Sent wires on wires on wires, like Idris /
Lucky that I don’t take back what is given.”

SZA responds, accusing Drake of not coming through on his promises, singing, “Fightin’ out here, like you d*ckin’ me out / And I ain’t even comin’ over now / And you ain’t ’bout the sh*t you rappin’ about.”

The song arrives ahead of Drake’s ninth studio album, For All The Dogs.

While the romantic tension, whether real or feigned, is evident on the track, their musical chemistry is undeniable.
