The R&B phenom recognized this at a recent event she was a part of a couple of days ago. Femme It Forward, according to their website, is a “Female-led music and entertainment company that centers its mission in celebrating, educating, and empowering women through multi-format, multi-market consumer experiences. The special occasion SZA was at is called, GiveHerFlowHERS Awards Gala. It “Celebrates and recognizes outstanding women who have made A significant impact in entertainment and mentorship.” She has certainly been a part of that moment and during it, she got on the podium and shouted her day ones.

The Grammy-nominated artist took a few moments to show her appreciation to her black female fanbase for believing in her. “I just wanted to thank black women, specifically. But, before anyone who had bought my albums or thought I was cute and I had anything on Billboard, black women came to my shows.” She continues, “They stood up for me from the jump, they connected with me and I’m so, so grateful to be black and amongst family.” Interestingly, some fans loved her speech while others thought it was a bit strange. One person goes, “If a white woman said this all hell would break loose ” Regardless of all the debate, it is great to see SZA continue to flourish and our continued support goes out to her!

Lola Brooke may be small, but she’s still a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. Now that her debut album, Dennis Daughter, has finally landed on DSPs, it’s more evident than ever that the femcee isn’t coming to play as her star continues to rise. The 12-track effort comes after singles like “Pit Stop” featuring French Montana and “You” with Bryson Tiller. Before that, Brooke also dropped off the “Don’t Play With It” remix in tandem with Latto and Yung Miami.

The only previously unheard features to appear on Dennis Daughter come from Coi Leray and Nija on “Don’t Get Me Started.” The rest of Brooke’s debut finds her delivering rhymes by herself, from “Intro (2023 Flow)” to the penultimate track, “God Bless All The Rappers.” Hip-hop heads are already offering plenty of braise to the New Yorker for her hard work on social media, and more is sure to roll in as she racks up streams this weekend.

Currently, Spice is on the road with Doja Cat and Doechii for the Scarlet Tour, meaning we’ve been getting regular performance videos and iconic new looks from the 23-year-old.

To kick off yet another week, Spice decided to help bring attention to a twerking GIF of her that’s been going viral on Twitter. “[She] was WILD for this…” the original poster wrote, including a look at the New Yorker in her signature plaid schoolgirl skirt, which left both of her booty cheeks peaking out the bottom. While rapping into the microphone, Spice bounces her hips along to the beat which we can’t hear before bending forward and giving nearly a full look at what’s between her legs – if her hand didn’t provide some modesty.

On its own, the tweet received nearly 170K likes and 14K retweets, many of them from fans thirsting after Spice. When she reposted it to her profile with a row of heart-eyes emojis, more people (we’re talking over eight million) were allowed to drool over the femcee and her famous hourglass figure. Not everyone approves of her salacious antics, but that’s not stopping Isis Gaston from living her best life and flaunting what she’s got.

If you’ve ever wondered where Ice Spice gets her good genes from, it’s at least in part her mother. Months after the redhead skyrocketed to fame, social media sleuths were able to uncover images of her mom that prove they often look more like sisters than a mother-daughter duo. Brandy’s “Christmas Party for Two” Single Will Get You In The Holiday Spirit Early This Year

The first week of November may seem a bit early for some to be blasting Christmas music, but according to Brandy, there’s no time like the present to prepare for the season of giving. This past New Music Friday (Nov. 3), the songbird unveiled her first solo original holiday song, titled “Christmas Party for Two.” The sultry single is the first we’ve heard from next week’s festive album, and based on what she’s serving up vocally, we’re sure things will only get hotter as we celebrate Christmas With Brandy on November 10.

Brandy’s new arrival boasts production by Ron “Neff-U” Feemster and David Williams III, which beautifully compliments her singing. “Let me sit beside ya / I warmed up some cider / I’ll relax your mind ’cause / I can recognize you need someone to make you feel the way that I do,” she croons on the first verse. When the chorus comes around, she lyricizes about getting undressed for her lover, and being his present in exchange for feeling his presence with her. “That’s all that I’m askin’ of you,” Brandy promises him.

Brandy Drops Off Her First Original Holiday Song

As HipHopDX notes, the “Vocal Bible” hitmaker has plenty of Christmas-themed events to gear up for this month. On the 16th, Netflix’s Best. Christmas. So far in 2023, we’ve heard the rising star connect with acts like French Montana, Bryson Tiller, Latto, and Yung Miami. This New Music Friday (November 3), it was Shenseea who Brooke joined forces with as the island gyal channelled her Jamaican roots for an infectious new single called “Beema.”

Shenseea’s beau, London on da Track came through with production, alongside Dready and Philip Cornish. The song begins with a sample of Louie Rankin setting the tone, declaring, “Don’t you ever bring scared business to me.

“Atlanta, thank you for your energy, it was amazing,” Kim wrote on Twitter on Friday (November 3) afternoon. Currently, Khia and Sexyy Red’s beef is taking centre stage, following a new video from the former that reads the latter to filth. “We the people vs. fugly, non-Sexyy knocked-up a** Red,” her lengthy rant aimed at the St. Louis native begins. “Your a** is being charged with not being ashamed of your God d**n self. Doing h*e s**t then being mad about it. Being a deadbeat mama, a deadbeat daddy, a deadbeat daughter, and a deadbeat Young Thug lookalike,” Khia went on.

The “My Neck, My Back” hitmaker then compared Red to a “wrinkled bedsheet” while labelling herself a queen. “Suckin’ on toes and balls at the same d**n time. Getting pissed and shi**ed on and tryna come for a real Queen,” Khia continued to list her opp’s various charges. “Tryna clap back with the Clap,” and “looking like some crust in a ni**as drawers” also made the list, along with the Philly native’s theories about Sexyy being unable to deliver her baby vaginally due to a history of STIs.

Chrisean Rock & Jaidyn Alexis’ New Singles Both Top 10 On TikTok’s Music Chart

Despite all the feuding that they do, Chrisean Rock and Jaidyn Alexis actually have quite a bit in common. What brings them together is obviously their shared connection with Blueface, and working with the California native to further their music careers has helped both women in their own way. Since giving birth to the baby boy she shares with him, Rock has been distancing herself from Blue, instead collaborating with her beau, Lil Mabu, on a song called “MR. TAKE YA B*TCH.”

The new arrival notably dissed the “Thotiana” rapper and was mostly penned by Chrisean’s man. While a war of words ensued on Twitter after that dropped, Alexis and Blue are focusing their energy almost entirely on furthering her as an artist thanks to the success of her “Barbie” single. They may not find commercial success, but on the TikTok Music Chart for Thursday (October 26), the Baltimore native nabbed the No. 5 spot while Jaidyn came just behind her at No. 6.
