Evelyn Lozada Engaged To “Queens Court” Finalist Lavon Lewis

Love is in the air for Evelyn Lozado, who announced her new engagement. The Basketball Wives alum is preparing to walk down the aisle again, this time with Lavon Lewis. Lozada and Lewis met on none other than reality television after Evelyn was featured on a dating show. Peacock’s Queens Court stars Lozada, Tamar Braxton, and Nivea, and the ladies dated 21 men in an effort to find their Prince Charming. According to PEOPLE, Lozada and Lewis met on the second episode and nurtured their connection to a proposal. He reportedly dropped down to one knee in December on Lozada’s birthday.

“The thing about Evelyn is, it is very hard to surprise her,” the marketing firm cofounder told PEOPLE. “I told her to pack her bags, we’re going somewhere. She was blindfolded until she got to the front door. She walked in to about 20 close friends and family and the big ‘marry me’ letters, roses on the ground, things like that.” It was all a surprise for Lozada, who said she had no clue her man planned to pop the question.

Evelyn Lozada Is Ready For A New Beginning

“I didn’t know that he was going to propose that day,” Lozada shared. “I didn’t know what I was walking into. He was being very sneaky and, in all honesty, I was a little irritated because I’m such an alpha female. I’m kind of like, ‘Why do I have to pack? Why do I have to do this?’ It was really, really difficult for me to just let go and allow him to do his thing.” The couple is still working out their distance, as Lewis lives in Atlanta and Lozada resides in L.A. Still, she added he makes sure to hop on a plane to see her whenever possible.

Additionally, Lewis is also a man who pays attention to his woman. Lozada previously partnered with Twila True for her jewelry line, and Lewis turned to the company to help design the engagement ring. “It was the perfect size and shape,” Lozada further shared. “I’ve never had that stone, so he did a really, really good job. But I’m not surprised. Lavon is a creative mind and he doesn’t forget anything.”

Relationships Of The Past

This makes for Lozada’s third engagement and second marriage. She was in a ten-year relationship with former NBA star Antoine Walker. The two were engaged but split in 2008. She later dated former MLB star turned 1501 Certified Entertainment founder Carl Crawford. The two welcomed a son and were engaged before breaking up in 2017. She was also infamously married to Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson for a month but divorced following their domestic violence incident.

However, rumors and reports indicate that the singer’s friends believe Paul isn’t invested for the right reasons. Rather, they allegedly believe he’s only with her to boost his own profile in Hollywood and pop culture.

“Rich is a very charming, influential guy,” one insider reportedly stated. “But the worry is he’s using Adele to boost his Hollywood profile and it’ll all end in tears once he’s gotten bored with her.” Another allegedly claimed that no one knew about him before this relationship. “Before they went public, hardly anyone had heard of the guy. Now he’s front and center at all the big events, soaking up the limelight and encouraging her to get out there and party alongside him.”

Grammy-winning artist Lizzo is making headlines once again. This time it is for helping a fan get engaged during her recent concert in Glasgow. The musician is known for her positive attitude when dealing with life, body image, and love. As proposals are common at concerts, it’s no surprise Lizzo would be excited to participate. The singer is a known supporter of the LGBTQIA community. The couple that got engaged is an LGBT couple, so proposing at one of her concerts seemed natural.

The romance between Cher and AE Edwards is apparently heating up. The couple is rumored to be engaged, but judging by this recent interview with TMZ, Edwards doesn’t seem that excited to be a groom. The 36-year-old music professional has been dating the 76-year-old industry legend since about November 2022, and they haven’t made their relationship a secret. The May-December romance has caused a flurry of questions, but Cher has defended her connection with Edwards every step of the way.

TMZ spotted Edwards as he was leaving a restaurant in Beverly Hills. The cameraperson wanted to know what it was about the music icon that made him fall in love with her. “Just Cher being Cher,” Edwards answered. Then, he was asked about the benefits of dating an older woman. He didn’t really give an answer, so the photog pressed for him to name just one. Edwards simply nodded with a smile and said, “That’s private!”

AE Edwards Gets Along With Cher’s Kids

Reports have stated that Edwards is at odds with Cher’s children, Chaz and Elijah. Speculation has run rampant regarding her spending money on her new beau, although the gossip hasn’t been confirmed. “Chaz is my guy. Shout out to Chaz,” Edwards said. “And Elijah. Him and Elijah are my guys.” The awkwardness continued when the music executive was questioned about whether or not Chaz would walk Cher down the aisle when she and Edwards were married. “I’m just chillin’ right now,” he replied. “I’m just having lunch with my guy. Omarion Responds To Woman Claiming They’re Engaged On “Dr. Phil”: Watch

For over two decades now, Dr. Phil McGraw has been providing audiences with entertainment via hilarious (and sometimes shocking) stories from everyday people. On occasion, a celebrity will appear on the hit talk show to give advice or address an ongoing situation. Earlier this week, Omarion was on to do the latter. He spoke directly to a woman who’s been claiming there was a proposal to her from the R&B superstar.

“My friend Simone has been catfished for years by someone claiming to be Omarion,” a woman named Rachel sets the scene while chatting with the host. “He’s not Omarion. I know for a fact because there’s no celebrity that’s going to ask a civilian for money,” she went on to say. According to Dr. Phil’s guest, Simone has sent her online beau at least $4,500 since they first began talking. “If he’s a superstar, why would he need her money? Only a scammer would do that, not a celebrity.”

In order to help Simone move on, producers asked the California-born singer to come on and explain to her what was really happening. “It’s crazy how far these people will go to convince and manipulate my fans to think that they’re actually speaking with me,” Omarion said in a video message after an awkward piano introduction. “From sending fake driver’s licenses and passports, even FaceTiming them, claiming that there was a bad connection, and they never even seen me.”

The 38-year-old then apologized to Simone, making it clear that he hasn’t been speaking with her online and they’re certainly not in a relationship. “You haven’t sent me any money. I want everyone to be aware that if someone online is claiming to be me, and asking for money, you are not speaking with me. I will never do that, all of my official pages clearly have a blue check.” Omarion ended his message with a reminder to “be mindful,” and practice internet security while online.

For practically as long as Eminem has been famous, the world has heard all about his daughter, Hailie Jade Mathers Scott. The 27-year-old inspired several of her lyricist father’s early hits, and even provided the hook to his fan favourite “My Dad’s Gone Crazy.” Over the decades, many have been following along with her life via social media, as if she’s a personal childhood friend of their own.

Earlier this year, Scott revealed that she’s reached yet another major life milestone – becoming a fiancée. After her long-time boyfriend Evan McClintock surprised her with a proposal after six years together, she happily accepted. On this Friday’s (February 26) episode of the Just a Little Shady podcast, the Detroit-born entertainer invited McClintock to join her. They answered some of listener’s most burning questions, including how they first met and what it took for Evan to get his future father-in-law’s approval. He asked the “Mockingbird” rapper the big question on Christmas Day, which also happens to be Hailie’s birthday, knowing that he may not have another opportunity to speak with Eminem.

“I saw your dad go downstairs, and I’m like, ‘I gotta do it right now, or I’m not doing it today, and I’m gonna have to schedule another time,’” he explained to his fiancée. “So I just followed him downstairs, and, thankfully, he was just down there getting your cake and I made it happen.” McClintock makes it sound as though the ask was easy, but he notes that finding the perfect ring for Scott was the real challenge.

Just a Little Shady

As it turns out, Eminem’s other daughter, Alaina Marie Scott, came to the rescue with some tips for her future brother-in-law. “She basically told me what for sure not to get,” he laughed on the podcast. “That’s all I told her, so it makes sense,” Hailie responded.

Since launching Just a Little Shady last summer, the recently engaged star has consistently been releasing episodes. LaKeith Stanfield says that the holidays are a beautiful time to bond with loved ones in “the midst of any kind of climate.” The statement on Instagram comes after a woman exposed the actor as the father of her newborn child.

“Back to work. Loved the holidays and spending time with family,” Stanfield began. “Some really great moments with loved ones. Beautiful time with my fiancé and the reinforcement of our bond in the midst of any kind of climate.”

The drama went down, last weekend, after Stanfield and his girlfriend, Kasmere Trice, announced their engagement. Afterward, artist Tylor Hurd shared photos of Stanfield with her daughter and claiming that he is the father.

“Decided to leave being someone’s secret family in 2022,” Hurd captioned the photo. She has since deleted the post.

Before Hurd took it down, Standfield commented: “Thanks for respecting my not wanting to blast my child out to the internet. Very considerate of you.”

Hurd later fired back: “Value your privacy is why you lied to people saying she wasn’t your baby or that I was just a random? you value your privacy but your gf post everything y’all do lol okay.”

“I never once in my life said she wasn’t my baby,” Stanfield continued, “I hope this does whatever it was supposed to do for you.”

The “We Found Love” singer was spotted shopping for baby clothes at Kitson in Los Angeles on Monday, but it was her own accessories that got people talking.

While out and about, Rihanna was seen wearing a huge diamond ring on her left ring finger, sparking rumors that she and Rocky are getting ready to say “I do.”

Neither Rihanna nor A$AP Rocky have confirmed the engagement.
