DJ Envy’s Fraud Allegations Addressed On “The Breakfast Club”: Watch

DJ Envy has once again found himself at the centre of controversy. Rather than letting the fraud allegations around his work in the real estate industry run rampant, The Breakfast Club host decided to address things on the air this morning (October 11), though not everyone tuning in thought that was such a good idea. “Let me explain some things,” Envy began before noting that his attorneys have specifically asked him not to speak out.

“I think you should listen to your attorneys,” Charlamagne Tha God advised his long-time co-host. “Listen, so Ceasar and myself did seminars,” the 46-year-old began to explain, ignoring his friend’s comment. “Now the reason I did these seminars is because I wanted to uplift my community. I wanted to teach my community about real estate, things that I didn’t know when I was first buying my first home. I wanted to teach our community about investing in generational wealth,” Envy went on to explain. According to the DJ, Ceasar was taking money from people attending these events, which he wasn’t aware of.

DJ Envy Sets the Record Straight on Recent Rumours

“I do understand how people feel if they gave him money because I gave him a lot of money,” the father of two emphasized to Charlamagne. “I didn’t see a dollar of return. For anyone to say that I was involved, that’s totally not true,” Envy doubled down. “I would never, I been on radio for close to 30 years, and never in my 30 years time did I do nothing but try to uplift people in different ways with a business mind. I would never take a dollar from somebody.”

Outside of the eyebrow-raising allegations coming out against DJ Envy at this time, the media personality has also been feuding online with Tyrese. Things have noticeably calmed down in recent weeks, but as summer came to a close, we saw the grown men trading shots on social media constantly. DJ Envy Recalls Being Stood Up by R. Kelly After Being Flown to Chicago

DJ Envy is being highlighted for supporting a real estate venture promoted by Cesar Pina, which is now being ousted as a scheme.

According to NBC New York, DJ Envy used his position on The Breakfast Club on iHeartRadio to promoe the scheme, which included seminars promoting the flipping of properties in underprivileged areas of New Jersey.

In testament to the nature of the sceme was Jose Santiago and his wife who claimed they wanted to invest in real estate in order to support a positive future for their children. After investing $200,000, their hopes and dreams appear to be gone.

The couple beleived they would invest in run down properties to renovate and flip, using equity from their Florida home as start up money. Sadly, they never saw a dollar. Another man, Nigel Chamblin stated $235K in one property, and an additional $300K in two others.

”There were other people investing in these exact same properties,” Chamblin said. ”It was a scam, it was a lie.”

DJ Envy also states he lost half a million dollars, with his lawyer stating he is also a victim.He is contending daily with cases that are being filed improperly against him,” Massimo D’Angelo, Envy’s attorney, said.

DJ Envy Blasted By Former Business Parter For Shady Practices Amid Lawsuits

DJ Envy’s pretty embroiled in his beef with Rick Ross (and now Funk Flex), but unluckily for him, that’s not all the battles on his field. Moreover, Jose Rodriguez, also known as The Credit Dude, recently took to Instagram to blast him on Thursday (October 5), and it had to do with their previous business partnership. For those unaware, they sued each other in Bergen County, New Jersey over Rodriguez’s credit repair company Clean Slate Credit Solutions. In exchange for the radio host’s promotion of it, he’d get a 25 percent share in the endeavor. Envy’s suit claims that Rodriguez blocked his access to the share’s amount by withholding financial information about the company.

“This motherf***er is acting like he can’t promote me,” Rodriguez levied at DJ Envy. “He gonna sit here and say he made The Credit Dude. Motherf***er, you can’t even make your wife cum. F**k you, Envy. You gonna sit here and sue me, and you gonna sit here and hide beside the phone? What’s up, bro? You want to go to court? You want to sue me? I can’t wait until the day where people realize the piece of s**t that you f***in’ are, bro.”

The Credit Dude’s Lengthy Takedown Of DJ Envy

Furthermore, Rodriguez’s countersuit alleges that The Breakfast Club‘s co-host did not fulfill his promotional agreement with him. In addition, The Credit Dude accused him of promoting competitors in the field and forcing Rodriguez to hire his executive assistant and lawyer for an overblown salary. Apparently, Clean Slate also overpaid the media personality by $385,000, almost doubling the $550,000 he allegedly made. Another claim is that Envy’s dealings with supposed real estate scam artist Cesar Pina hurt the credit repair company’s reputation.

Not only that, but Rodriguez also went hard at his relationship with Gia Casey, clowning their media parade for their 2022 book. Also, he stated that Envy and Pina baited him into this with on-air appearances, emptying his pockets and leaving The Credit Dude in the dust once the contract assigning the 25 percent share came into effect. After Pina allegedly stole $150,000 from Rodriguez and Envy started taking credit for The Credit Dude’s success in his eyes, it was gloves off between them. Rick Ross isn’t done with DJ Envy, who have been beefing for months over their competing car shows and pulling out dirt on each other. The latest battleground for this feud was live on the airwaves with Funk Flex, who joined the rapper in a takedown of The Breakfast Club‘s co-host. Not only that, but their disparaging remarks and jests also extended to the DJ’s radio partner Charlamagne Tha God, although it was all more comical than anything. Mostly, Rozay took aim at Envy by clowning his alleged real estate fraud scheme, which he staunchly denied despite continued accusations against him. It’s quite the lengthy and loud clip, and we’d expect nothing less from the Maybach Music Group mogul.

Moreover, it seems like Meek Mill was also in the building for this exchange, as he and Rick Ross have a lot to celebrate these days. Regardless of all of this speculation, Envy’s legal team also maintains that he isn’t involved at all in the scheme people are pinning on him. “DJ Envy also gave $500k as an investment, which he has not received back yet,” his lawyer claimed concerning his own victimization in this scam.

The two men exchanged heated words on air and social media, leaving fans wondering what caused their fallout and if they could ever reconcile. Here’s a breakdown of the beef and its origins.

On September 7, 2023, Tyrese joined The Breakfast Club for an interview, where he claimed he was on an “apology tour” and wanted to clear the air with DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God. He said he had receipts to prove that he never disrespected DJ Envy’s wife and that he was always respectful and supportive of their marriage. He also said he was ready for “all the smoke” with DJ Envy and challenged him to a fight. Tyrese also accused Envy of being jealous of him and his success. He said that Envy was insecure about his own marriage and that he was projecting his issues onto him. He also mentioned that the radio host was just trying to go viral by creating drama with him.

On September 17, 2023, Tyrese changed his tone and posted an Instagram Live video, where he waved a white flag and said he wanted peace with DJ Envy. He said he was taking the higher road and did not want any problems. He also said he respected Charlamagne tha God more than DJ Envy, but he was willing to bury the hatchet with both of them. Further, Tyrese said he was going through a lot of things when he was having his mental health issues and that he was trying to navigate through them. He said he wanted to clear his name and did not mean any harm. He also hoped that DJ Envy would accept his apology and move on.

A new piece of investigative reporting is unveiling a real estate flipping scheme that’s stolen money from dozens of people. The scheme centers around Cesar Pena, who they describe as a social media influencer known for his seminars about real estate. In the report, they claim that Pena was taking money from investors with the promise of quick massive gains and then never paying them back. They cite at least 12 different lawsuits filed against him and interview two of the victims of his scam.

That’s where DJ Envy gets involved. Envy has appeared alongside Pena at numerous talks before and pictures of the two together made the rounds on social media. While many suspected that he was part of the scheme as a result of their association, his lawyer claims that he is also a victim. “DJ Envy also gave $500k as an investment, which he has not received back yet.” The report also claims that Pena was collecting investments for properties that he never owned or had already sold. Tyrese began the clip by showing love to Funk Flex. “I just wanna hop on here and show some love to Funk Flex,” he said. “You my brother, bro. Flex. It’s been the longest week ever. Flex, you’ve been killing my song out here in New York.” He continued: “I told n****s I’m ready for all that smoke with Envy, but I’m throwing up my peace flag. DJ Envy Recalls R. Kelly Flying Him Out For Help On An R&B Mixtape

DJ Envy says R. Kelly once flew him out to help work on an R&B mixtape during his early days as a DJ. The Breakfast Club host recalled working with the disgraced musician during a recent sit-down with VladTV. Speaking with the outlet, he revealed that he was only 19 or 20 years old at the time.

“This was the mixtape days,” he began. “So this was when I was like 19, 20. And this is when I was on mixtapes. They reached out to me and R. Kelly wanted to do an R&B mixtape. Flew me out to Chicago. And that was it. That was it. I remember he flew me out on like, a Friday. It sounds crazy saying, ‘flew me out.’ I got flown out on a Friday, I get there, get in the hotel, nice hotel, five-star, everything first class — Friday, nothing. They didn’t return my call. No studio. So, I said alright. And it was supposed to be a weekend thing, so Friday, Saturday, Sunday.”
