Cardi B Shuts Down Rumor She Dissed Ice Spice

Cardi B put a stop to the rumors that she dissed Ice Spice during her set at Hot 97 Summer Jam over the weekend. While beginning to perform the song, “Tomorrow 2,” Cardi played the Annie song “Tomorrow,” while projecting images of the character twerking on stage. Some fans mistook Annie for Ice Spice and believed Cardi B to be trolling her fellow Bronx rapper.

“For y’all motherf*ckers that’s on Twitter tryna be messy, please, cut the bullsh*t,” Cardi said on Instagram Live after the fact. “I don’t — that’s not me, like come on now. First of all, y’all been wanting me to be messy all things. Y’all wanted me to be messy on the song, y’all wanted me to — nah, come on now. Cut the bullsh*t, please. Get the mop. Y’all being too messy and y’all being annoying.”

As for what fans had been saying, one wrote on Twitter: “Cardi b putting a caricature of ice spice on her set in the same outfit she wore on a ig story when she was rapping tomorrow 2 and singing annie before transitioning into tomorrow 2… shading a girl that showed nothing but love to you.” Another wrote: “Cardi b shading ice spice for absolutely no reason smfh…. She knows ice spice is about to take her spot. the insecurities jumped out.”

Cardi does reference Ice Spice in the song “Tomorrow 2″ by mentioning her hit song, “Munch (Feelin’ U),”.” When Ice Spice heard the song, she was excited to be known by Cardi. “When Cardi mentioned it in ‘Tomorrow 2,’ I was like, this shit is crazy, bro,” she told Ebro Darden on Hot 97.

Akademiks Disses Yung Miami, Claims Her Only Talent Is “Pimping” Men: Video

Thanks to her work in the City Girls, on her Caresha Please podcast, and more recently, as a supporting actress, Yung Miami has amassed an impressive fanbase throughout her career so far. Today (May 30), DJ Akademiks reminded us that he’s not a member of the rap diva’s club of supporters. In fact, he said some hateful things about her during a live stream which is now making rounds online. In one clip reposted to @theneighborhoodtalk, the media personality discredits Miami’s entire resume, declaring that she’s a “one-trick pony,” and the only thing up her sleeve is “pimping men.”

“Yung Miami, who recently did an interview saying she was tired of sharing a man,” Ak began his rant. “You know, I keep telling you, Yung Miami is, to me, a clown… She is not talented to do anything else. The only acting talent is to be like, ‘Yo, I’m pimping these dudes out,’” he continued to slam the mother of two. Afterward, he accused Caresha of “crying” after talking about her love life in the media.

Akademiks Gets Some Thoughts About Yung Miami Off His Chest

Fans of the Florida native and/or the blogger may recall their last feud, which took place in late 2022. At the time, Akademiks labelled Miami a “side chick” for her role in Diddy’s life, which has notably diminished since he welcomed a new baby girl, Love Sean Combs, with Dana Tran. The New Yorker wound up sending Ak a direct message over his comments, which the former claims left the “Twerkulator” artist emotionally wounded.

In the comments of the live stream repost, one user pointed out that the embattled entertainer has a controversial history with some “one-trick ponies” himself. “Didn’t you YOURSELF, DJ AKADEMIKS, BUT CELINA POWELL A G-WAGON? 😒😒🤔🤔🤔🤔. So, if she a pimp, you are THE BIGGEST TRICK OF THEM ALL SIR 😂😂😂,” they clowned him. “So, keep it cute and watch your mouth about our sis Caresha.” Do you agree with DJ Akademiks’ latest take on Yung Miami? Vic Mensa Admits He Regrets Dissing Drake

Vic Mensa says that regrets dissing Drake on his 2017 song, “Danger.” The Chicago rapper reflected on the decision during a new 15-minute freestyle on Sway’s Universe, last Wednesday. He also mentioned his beef with Lil Yachty, DJ Akademiks, and XXXTentacion.

“I fell victim to addictions in my mental state/ Stupid shit, like dissing Drake – that was a big mistake,” Vic rapped. “But when you raised in a cage, all you know is MMA/ I dissed Yachty, dissed Ak, dissed XXX/ It was disrespect, it made the fans dis-invest/ I lost M’s like a Dow Jones regression/ But every L taught me an invaluable lesson.”

After the freestyle, he spoke more about the topic with Sway, revealing that he’s since made amends with those he mentioned. “I’ve actually spoken to all of ’em, man,” he said. “I saw Drake at Virgil’s funeral and had some words with him. Yeah, he was [receptive to it]. He was like, ‘Man, honestly, I didn’t even understand it.’ And when I recall and think back, it was like, I was just gassed up being young. You know, Kanye, JAY-Z – they bickering so I wanna jump in. It was unnecessary. I spoke to him.”

The one person that Mensa says he hasn’t been able to reach out to is DJ Akdemiks. He says that he wants to go on his show, Off the Record, soon to apologize to him in person.

Vic Mensa On His Apology To Drake

“Akademiks is one person that I have not spoken to,” Mensa said. “But I’m at the space right now where I don’t got room in my spirit for beef, no problems with nobody. I’m beyond that. So, I’ma sit down with Akademiks. I’ll go on his show and speak to him. Because me and Akademiks’ [issues], it was really more ideological too.”

Quando Rondo Taunts Lil Durk Over “Nerd” Diss To Lul Tim

The beef between Lil Durk and Quando Rondo is far more serious and damaging than your typical MC feuds. An affiliate of Rondo’s, Lul Tim, shot and killed the Chicago rapper’s friend King Von, an event that would go on to shape Durk’s rivalries. During a conversation with DJ Akademiks on the Off The Record, he spoke on the shooting “that changed everybody’s lives irreparably,” and sent shots at the aforementioned peers. “Yeah, that s**t f***ed everybody up, boy, when a real gangsta get took out by a nerd type,” he said of Tim, adding that Quando is a “little boy.”

However, Quando Rondo caught wind of this, and came through on Twitter with his response to Lil Durk’s most recent shots. “The Nerds Got 7 Of ‘Em Last Year Urkkkk….” the Savannah, Georgia artist posted on the social media platform. Furthermore, discussion around that statement split into people commenting on the feud and lamenting that these battles resulted in lost lives and pained families. Neither side is exempt from those issues, and many believe that airing these things out for social media clout is disrespectful. “This ‘war’ a whole clown show. Ppl died for these goofy tweets and weak bars,” one fan expressed.

Quando Rondo’s Response To Lil Durk

Still, these circumstances take nuanced understanding to examine, as everyone goes through grief, regret, and the thought that things could be different. It’s something that Quando Rondo himself clearly feels, as he recently dropped a tribute track to his fallen friend Lul Pab. Many times, these issues stem from much more systemic hardships in “the game,” and it can be very difficult for its players to escape that lifestyle. With that being said, this probably and unfortunately won’t be the last time we’re reminded of the cyclical nature of these beefs.

Meanwhile, The Voice recently opened up about his grief process, whether for King Von or for others in his life or surroundings. In addition, his beef with Quando associate NBA YoungBoy is unlikely to slow down anytime soon, either. All fans can hope for is that these battles stay more in the musical side of things and not spill over into people’s lives. Regardless, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Quando Rondo and Lil Durk.

NBA YoungBoy Explains “F*ck The Industry Pt. 2” Diss To Lil Yachty

Lil Yachty seems to be feeling some confusion after being dissed by 23-year-old NBA YoungBoy on the former’s new Richest Opp project. Thankfully he’s in good company, seeing as Drake and J. Cole were also targeted within the lyrics of “F*ck The Industry Pt. 2,” with bars like “Play with me, Lil Yachty mad about JT, f*ggot / Bitch, play with me, half of y’all ain’t got more money than me.” Elsewhere, YB claims that Champagne Papi refused to work with him because of his ties to Durk, a topic that’s also making headlines.

After hearing the track late last night, Yachty turned to Twitter to share his reaction. Rather than type out a tweet, the Georgia native used a meme of 50 Cent to get his feelings across. “I mean, why he say f*ck me for?” the Power producer asks in the clip, prompting another user to reply with a video of the Lousiana native’s response. “This n*gga Yachty crazier than a muthaf*cka, son,” YoungBoy told the camera with a smile on his face. “Aye bitch, you got me laughing over here, boy. Bitch, you know why I said that, man.”

Lil Yachty Reacts to NBA YoungBoy’s “F*ck The Industry Pt. 2”

According to the “WTF” hitmaker, Lil Boat previously called him about the City Girl, who previously collaborated with him on “Act Up” in the earlier days of the female rap group’s come-up. “Mama, that bitch really check me ’bout that girl. That bitch checked the gangsta man,” YB continued to rant in response to Yachty. “If I ain’t mistaken, bro, you say you asked me about trying to talk to your bitch. And I was confused ’cause you a hoe and you was coming at me, like, I ain’t really do that. Bitch, I got a mental problem over here and I got too much money.”

“You n*ggas might as well stay the f*ck out my way,” he further advised. Apart from throwing shade at Yachty, the record-breaking rapper also didn’t hold back on publicly celebrating when Lil Durk confirmed that his highly anticipated project is delayed by a few weeks. Soulja Boy Disses Lil Durk And NBA YoungBoy

Soulja Boy is upset with NBA YoungBoy and Lil Durk. It appears he is angry that they announced that they would be releasing new projects on the same day as his latest release. On May 9, Soulja Boy went on an angry rant during an Instagram Live session, targeting YoungBoy and Durk. The rapper is unhappy with the news that the two artists will be releasing their projects on May 12, which is the same day as his release, Soulja Season.

In his rant, Soulja Boy makes a lot of bold claims for an artist who many would rather receive food stamps than get dinner with. One of the boldest is that he thinks he will outsell both Lil Durk and NBA Youngboy. “I’m finna outsell Lil Durk and YoungBoy at the same time,” he said. “This my date.” That comment aside, Soulja Boy also had a lot to say about the beef between Durk and YoungBoy. “Y’all ain’t gon’ do sh*t… woulda been scrapped… woulda been fought. Cut it out,” the rapper says in the video. “P*ssy-a*s n*gga, you seen me announce my muthaf*ckin’ album and the next day you announced your album. So, guess what? You lame, n*gga.”

Soulja Boy’s Violent Extracurricular Activities

Soulja is no stranger to frequent displays of bravado, as evidenced in the above video. However, that behavior just cost him quite a bit of money. The rapper was recently ordered to pay $235,000 to his ex-girlfriend, Kayla Meyers. This was a result of a lawsuit filed against him following an incident in 2019 where she accused him of assault and kidnapping. A Los Angeles jury made a decision on Meyers’ civil case a few weeks ago, as reported by Radar Online. According to court records, the jury granted Meyers $1,800 for “mental health expenses” and an additional $234,100 for “physical and mental pain and suffering,” totaling $235,900. The jury also determined that Soulja acted with “malice, oppression or fraud.”

During her testimony last week, Meyers presented pictures of her purported injuries, including three broken ribs. In addition to the text messages, she exhibited DMs that she claimed were sent to her by the rapper. While Soulja Boy was not charged with a crime for the alleged assault, law enforcement officers discovered weapons at his residence, which breached the conditions of his probation. The rapper contends that a third party caused Myers’ injuries and has denied any culpability.
