On Saturday (March 25), the world was shocked by the news of Jonathan Majors’ unexpected arrest. As DailyMail reports, he was taken into custody yesterday morning. He’s currently facing charges of “strangulation, assault, and harassment,” according to NYPD officials. The accusations come from his 30-year-old girlfriend, who called authorities after sustaining injuries to her head and neck. Among them was a “laceration behind her ear, redness, and marks to her face.”

Earlier this month, both Jhené Aiko and Big Sean celebrated their birthdays. Both recording artists turned 35 this year. While they’ve been surely showered with blessings, they’ve also had their share of struggles to deal with too. Most recently, the R&B songstress witnessed her 2020 Range Rover’s theft while dining with her family at Tasty Noodle House in Los Angeles.

According to TMZ, the mother of two left her luxury vehicle with the restaurant’s valet around 8:30 PM last Saturday night. At the time, Aiko handed her keys over to the employee before heading inside to grab a delicious meal with her loved ones. Just 30 minutes later, however, she happened to spot someone driving away in her Range Rover. Though it was unexpected, the California native assumed a staff member was simply relocating her SUV.

Dame Dash Ordered To Turn Over Tax Returns

A judge recently ordered Dame Dash to hand over his tax returns, a legal battle that stems from an earlier lawsuit. Moreover, filmmaker Josh Webber wants to see his 2021 and 2022 documents to collect a huge judgement from a successful lawsuit he filed against the Roc-A-Fella cofounder. According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, these revelations could further inform Webber of Dame’s assets, sources of income, business dealings, and possible conflicts of interest. Furthermore, the filmmaker originally sued him in 2019 after he and Muddy Water Pictures claimed they hired Dash to co-direct the film Dear Frank in 2016, but fired him two years later for allegedly being high on set.

However, that’s not the true crux of the case, as the 51-year-old allegedly promoted himself as a producer for the flick after his removal from the project. This is what prompted legal action, especially since Dame Dash was changing the title of the film to The List according to the suit. R. Kelly Victim Gets Priority Access To His Royalty Fund

R. Kelly received an additional sentence for his crimes of sexual abuse and other horrible acts in February, and the court granted priority access to his royalty fund to a victim of his actions. Moreover, the Illinois Supreme Court ruled on Thursday (March 23) that Heather Williams will be the first person able to attain money from Kelly’s Sony Music royalty account. Furthermore, Billboard reported a value of $1.5 million for said fund in 2020. Not only that, but Williams got priority over Midwest Commercial Funding, a property manager that won a $3.5 million suit against the singer for unpaid rent for a Chicago studio.

Also in 2020, the victim in question successfully sued the R&B artist for $4 million in civil court, alleging that he lured her to his studio when she was 16. Instead of appearing in a music video as promised, he abused and had relations with her multiple times. In addition, said ruling from the state’s high court supports a lower jurisdiction’s view that Williams has priority because she properly filed a demand for the money before Midwest commercial. As such, the court ordered that she receive all the money in said fund and to keep receiving royalty payments until the judgment amount of $4 million is paid off.

Authorities in St. Louis accused aspiring rapper Woozy The Goat murdering his grandparents after a potential mental breakdown. Moreover, a Friday (March 24) TMZ report indicates that the artist, real name Davionne McRoberts, went to a psych ward in Missouri earlier this week while covered in blood and confessed that he murdered Donald and Kathy McRoberts. Furthermore, police found the couple dead on Tuesday (March 21) and began a search for McRoberts. Not only that, but the report suggests that Woozy had a mental breakdown and shot his grandparents, yet police didn’t determine any other motives.

Wilson then got hit with a 99-year prison sentence, whereas the shooter Eugene Spencer received 100 years of jail time. According to reports, Wilson “merely nodded” as the judge read his sentence. Disturbingly, the now-33-year-old had some words to say about the incident. “I just want to say, nobody loved my mother more than me,” he reportedly expressed. “She was all I had. It’s hard to remember the last time that the “GUMMO” rapper took over the news so powerfully and consistently. Moreover, after footage spread of 6ix9ine’s beatdown at the speed of light on social media, sources close to the rapper stated that he’s not planning to switch gyms or to South Florida, TMZ reports. Given the swift and jesting social media response to his assault, many might consider this a bad move. However, the rapper’s team stands by his alleged decision to not change the way he lives his life based on one incident.

After all, those jubilant about his attack spent years trashing the artist, and it’s a miracle that more headlines like these haven’t popped up. Moreover, Detroit D.U.S.T. posted a skit of him telling followers how to survive a beatdown in an LA Fitness- “or anywhere else, if you’re six foot nine, or 69 years old, or you were born in 1969.” The video clearly has a more comical slant to it, but at least he does give some legitimate tips.

Whether they work or not is unclear, and Daniel Hernandez probably won’t look for trouble anytime soon.
