Jarred Vanderbilt Accused Of Returning Tunnel Fit

The Los Angeles Lakers are currently locked in the midst of a fierce battle in the second round of the NBA playoffs. After historic performances saw the seven-seed Lakers steal a game on the road against the Warriors, they suffered a 27-point rout in Game 2.

Lakers power forward Jarred Vanderbilt is having a decent series against the Warriors. While not a prolific shooter, Vanderbilt earned praise for his ability to lock down Steph Curry in Game 1. Overall, his tangible stats are 4-for-14 shooting, 14 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals in 46 minutes across the first two games of the series. However, it’s not Vanderbilt’s on-court performance that has him generating headlines.

Saks Fifth Avenue Employee Accuses Vanderbilt Of “Wearing To Return”

Vanderbilt’s tunnel fit for Tuesday’s Game 1 was a patterned overshirt and blue courtesy calf-length pants. However, there is now an allegation surrounding his outfit. According to the Instagram user “sfc.og”, who claims to be an employee at Saks Fifth Avenue, Vanderbilt bought the outfit on Monday, only to return it later in the week. “Nice guy but…bought 2k worth of clothes Monday. This outfit specially. Wore it to tunnel and post game Tuesday. Then returned it yesterday. I wasn’t at the store and someone took the return. Lord knows why. Obviously used clothing. Mayn if I didn’t have a reason to hate the Lakers and root for home turf now I have more reason. Boooooo @jvando. Ya bum.”

While there is a culture of wearing to return (consignment), that clearly isn’t what is being alleged here. According to this self-professed Warriors fan, Vanderbilt bought a fit for the tunnel for $2,000 and then returned it after he was done with it. Obviously, this is one side of the story and Vanderbilt has not commented on the allegations as of yet. The claim does need to be taken with a grain of salt given the source’s anti-Lakers bias, and the fact that they did not see the return themselves. Meanwhile, people are split in the comments of The Neighborhood Talk post that collated the information. Some people shared their own experiences of people trying to return worn clothing. Meanwhile, many others warned the source that they were likely about to get fired. But what do you think about the situation? Let us know in the comments below.

Beanie Sigel Believes Kanye West Needs Someone To Tell Him To “Shut The F**k Up”

Beanie Sigel recently sat down for an interview with VladTV and reflected on Kanye West and his recent controversies. From what the Philly rapper expressed, these attitudes from Ye should come as no surprise to those who know him, and that doesn’t make them any more excusable. Moreover, he specifically pointed at him not having wise people in his corner who actually look out for his well-being and not his pockets. Of course, part of what made Kanye a compelling artist to begin with was his individualistic and single-minded approach to his craft. However, once the money got split up between many parties, Sigel stated, that’s when people’s true loyalties became clear, to the detriment of victims of the Chicago MC’s attacks.

“Kanye drives his own car,” Beanie Sigel remarked of his former Roc-A-Fella label mate. “Kanye was Kanye. I think when you get to a certain point, they saw money change you, it also changes the people around you, and when you got so many people that’s on your payroll, it’s hard to get honesty from them. Kanye needs somebody around him that’s gonna tell him, ‘Shut the f**k up.’ Like, ‘Chill out, bro,’ and he gotta be able to accept that. He needs somebody that don’t care about his money.”

Beanie Sigel Condemns The “Yes Men” Of Kanye West

Currently, the Yeezy mogul is facing opposition in both the court of public opinion and the court of law. Furthermore, two women including Cecilia Hailey sued the rapper for unlawful termination from his Donda Academy after they criticized his strange policies. Not only that, but the lawsuit also includes accusations of racial discrimination, health and safety violations, and more. One of the wildest examples was Kanye West forcing kids to eat sushi every day and prohibited outside food.

“Ye West, I am so thankful for the opportunity to be at your school, but things are not going the way they should, academically, socially or spiritually,” Hailey stated. “And you need to back down and try again with people who know what they’re doing, who can execute a vision, who can help you understand that we don’t know anything about producing albums, but we know how to educate. These children’s lives are in your hands and this vision, especially if you’re trying to carry out the vision of your mother, is just not working right now.” For the latest on Beanie Sigel and Kanye West, stay logged into HNHH.

Daniel Caeser Reflects On 2019 Backlash: “I Deserved It”

Toronto-born R&B singer Daniel Caeser went on a pretty lengthy rant about race relations back in 2019. The performer took to Instagram Live to sound off some of his opinions about Black people that he felt were “unable to take a joke.” At the beginning of the live stream, Caeser freely admits that he is inebriated. He goes on to ask why Black people treat white people the way they do. Ultimately, the Canadian contended that the only solution is to create an understanding and move forward. That isn’t a bad idea in theory. However, the reality is that white people have done far more than “be mean in the past,” as the singer put it. The rant was the subject of a lot of drama in the media. Both fans and fellow artists alike spoke out to condemn what Caeser said.

The Freudian artist eventually issued an apology. “Me and my friends, we agree with the sentiment. and there was no one there to challenge our ideas. That’s also dangerous. It was a very tyrannical rant because a tyrant doesn’t have people around checking him,” Caesar said. “Honestly, I’m glad this happened because I feel like I’m coming full circle. This shit has been hurting me so I feel like I’m stronger because of this. This is hurting my ego right now – I don’t like apologizing because I feel like I’ve been doing it for so long.”

Caeser Says He Was Wrong

Following the controversy surrounding his statements, Daniel Caeser saw a definite impact on his career. While his 2019 album, Case Study 01, may have charted higher than his debut, he found himself with few supporters. The embattled artist recently stopped by Apple Music to promote his new album, Never Enough, where he spoke at length about the situation and his growth since then.

“I completely understand the response. After taking time to get over myself and to really honestly look at myself and everything that was happening, I was wrong,” Caeser said. “I did deserve… What happened, happened because I deserved it, because I knocked the domino over and set a course in motion.” Do you plan to check out the R&B crooner’s new album?
