This week, Chlöe teased that her next single will arrive on February 24. Breezy also appears in the sultry image and the caption, as Chlöe tagged her collaborator. Initially, the announcement was met with mixed reactions. Many were excited to see these two sing their way into our playlists, while others have been unforgiving.

Some social media users opted to create memes, while others engaged in a debate. Chlöe and Brown’s fans also swiftly came to their defenses. Their talents were further highlighted, and some argued people should move on from the past. It was also mentioned that Brown teamed with several men in the industry who haven’t received the same pushback. His joint album with Young Thug, Slime & B, was a hit, but Thugger wasn’t attacked for linking with Brown. Additionally, he toured with Lil Baby, and the Atlanta rapper wasn’t challenged.

Moreover, Chris was recently asked about his potential participation in a Super Bowl halftime show. Following a two-year hiatus from releasing music, Janelle Monae came through with some new heat for fans this week with the release of “Float.” The single marks her first drop since 2021 and it definitely doesn’t disappoint. Monae’s joined by Sean Kuti, the legendary son of Fela Kuti, and Egypt 80 for the record. Though her vocal prowess is on 10, she takes cues from hip-hop, dropping bars over rolling 808 hi-hats. “Float,” produced by Nana Kwabena, Nate “Rocket” Wonder, and Sensei Bueno, is a bouncy bop that’s bound to get stuck in your head.

The anticipation for the latest release from Janelle Monae is high. She first teased the record last year and the record will now be used for NBA coverage. Don Toliver Only Wants Kali Uchis On Their New Collab “4 Me”

Don Toliver and Kali Uchis are still going strong, as a couple and collaborators. Since the release of 2021’s “Drugs N Hella Melodies,” they’ve proven that their relationship status has only furthered worked to their favor whenever they step into the booth together. And while both have them have proven successful when working together, they’ve left fans longing for them to return with a new collaboration.

It seems as though fans could expect new heat from the couple in the near future. Don Toliver is currently gearing up for the release of his follow-up to 2021’s Life Of A Don, which is expected to drop soon. He previously shared details about the upcoming project, Lovesick, during an interview in 2022, where he confirmed his partner, Kali, has an appearance. He also indicated that the project embodies his creativity more than it has before. “I’m just now getting to where I really wanted to be: futuristic R&B and soul,” he told GQ.

Don Toliver & Kali Uchis Reunite On Wax For “4 Me”

This morning, Don Toliver shared his first single of 2023, “4 Me” ft. Kali Uchis. In contrast to the moody soundscape of “Drugs N Hella Melodies,” “4 Me” is an upbeat bop that carries a Neptunes-esque influence, thanks to the sample from Beenie Man’s “Girls Dem Sugar.” With Wheezy holding down the production, Toliver and Uchis bring sultry yet muddy feel that sounds ready for the summer. On top of that, the record also provided a candid look into the couple’s otherwise private relationship.

Fortunately, it appears that this won’t be the last we hear from Don Toliver and Kali Uchis in the near future. While “4 Me” will appear on Lovesick, Kali and the Houston artist have something on her album. Her new album, Red Moon In Venus will drop on March 3rd with Don Toliver appearing on the single, “Fantasy.” Hopefully, it drops before the album’s official release. One of their most recent collabs has been on the Nike Air Penny 2. Penny Hardaway was an iconic NBA player, especially in relation to sneaker culture. He had some amazing silhouettes, and the Air Penny 2 was one of them. Following their first two colorways of this model, it seems as though they have returned with a third.

Moreover, the SOS star took to Twitter to shout out the 30-year-old for her massive accomplishment. Also, she let us know that her upcoming album is going to be great, as well.

“MAJOR congrats to Miley !!!” the “Gone Girl” singer wrote. “Excited for her album and to work together,” adding a white heart emoji to her message. While we’re all excited for Miley’s album, what really got fans talking was the anticipation of them working together. Moreover, Miley responded to SZA’s message with some similarly kind words.

“You are KILLING it,” the star singer wrote. “Congratulations! Sending love,” capping her tweet off with a kiss emoji. Moreover, the TDE alum currently sits at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, with the SOS standout “Kill Bill.” Also, this is Cyrus’ second No. 1 hit on the charts.

Still, SZA has so, so much to celebrate when it comes to SOS. Moreover, she thanked her fans for six consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Also, she became the first female artists in Billboard Hot 100 history to have 10 or more songs chart for six consecutive weeks.

“Also thank you for 6 WEEKS AT NUMBER ONE,” she wrote. “Never thought I’d even get one week tbh… God is so excellent, thank y’all fr.”

Otherwise, this wasn’t the only notable SZA-related shoutout from chart-topping queens. Furthermore, Taylor Swift penned a sweet message for SZA on her Instagram story as she celebrated the success of her Midnights single, “Anti-Hero.”

“What on Earth I love you guys,” she expressed via her story. “PS – Been listening to [SZA’s] album nonstop. Absolutely adore her music. So much love and respect for her!!”
