Usher Teases Kai Cenat Collab

Usher has teased a collab with Kai Cenat. The hint came as Usher called the widely popular streamer to personally invite him to next month’s Super Bowl. Furthermore, Usher also invited Cenat to come to an early listening party for his new album. Cenat was overjoyed about the opportunity and seemed to reciprocate the desire to work with the iconic singer.

Cenat has been making a name for himself throughout 2023 as his star has shone brighter and brighter. This included getting a Christmas present from Ice Spice. The present in question was one of Spice’s branded chia pets. While Cenat was very excited to receive a gift from Spice, he was slightly confused by the gift. After closely inspecting the gift, Cenat declared that it didn’t look too much like Spice at all. Regardless, he was very happy to have received something from the high-profile rapper.

Usher Drops First Super Bowl Teaser

Meanwhile, Usher also dropped the first trailer for his upcoming Super Bowl Halftime Show. Titled “One performance, 30 years in the Making”, the minute-long trailer highlights Usher’s legacy, with a collection of fans and celebrities performing the singer’s 2004 classic, “Yeah”. Usher was announced as the Super Bowl headliner back in September 2023, with the NFL debuting a skit involving Kim Kardashian. This year’s Super Bowl is being held in Las Vegas, where Usher wrapped up a residency late last year.

Furthermore, he also announced that Super Bowl Sunday (February 11) will also mark the release of his new album. Coming Home will be Usher’s ninth studio and his first since Hard II Love in 2016. In the last seven years, Usher’s only extended project was 2018’s A, a collaborative album with Zaytoven. Furthermore, he will be hoping that Coming Home will be a return to form for his work. Hard II Love was his first album since his 1994 debut to neither peak at #1 nor receive an RIAA certification.

Rick Ross Names The Drake Collab He Loves The Most

Rick Ross and Drake have quite the extensive personal and collaborative history, one that might expand soon according to the former and Meek Mill. Moreover, Rozay has a lot to look back on and treasure when it comes to the memories he crafted with the 6ix God over the years. What’s more is that these are represented by specific collaborative tracks across their discographies. You could look at iconic Drizzy songs like “Lord Knows,” “Money In The Grave,” or “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” for this. Other highlights include Ross’ “Gold Roses” and “Aston Martin Music,” and there are also plenty of tracks from other primary artists, like DJ Khaled’s “I’m On One,” in which they both appear.

Furthermore, Rick Ross recently joined Adin Ross for a livestream together on Wednesday (January 3). During it, the streamer asked him for a particularly treasured memory of his when it comes to his relationship with Drake. “I’ma say ‘Stay Schemin,’” the Mississippi native expressed. “He came out to us; he came out in the streets. He came to us when he put that record together. It was one of those vibes. We had the beat. He walked right in on it as we was puttin’ it together and he didn’t wait one second, so that was most definitely magical.”

Rick Ross & Adin Ross’ Full Livestream: Watch

The Drake conversation begins around the 35-minute mark.

Of course, Drake has also been prone to shout out his partner Rick Ross every once in a while for social media to see. Back in April of last year, he called him his “identical twin” when a fan mixed them up while the Maybach Music Group mogul was in Jamaica. A few years prior in 2021, following the aforementioned “Lemon Pepper Freestyle,” the Too Good To Be True MC addressed rumors that they were working on a collab album. Clearly, with all the time that has passed since, it looks like this isn’t panning out anytime soon.

Meanwhile, the Toronto native doesn’t crack the 47-year-old’s top three rappers list, but he’s not far behind. In fact, Rick Ross recently explained why most rappers have the same top three ranking. That’s up for debate, but his point holds true for a lot of legendary lyricists out there, perhaps even for Drake himself. For more news and the latest updates on this duo, keep checking in with HNHH.

Jay-Z & D’Angelo Collab To Appear On “The Book Of Clarence” Soundtrack

Two musical legends in their respective genres will seemingly team up soon for an absolute opus of a song. Moreover, The Book Of Clarence‘s director Jeymes Samuel recently sat down with Elliott Wilson and none other than Jay-Z for a conversation. Hov produced this film, which centers around a man named Clarence who tries to replicate the adoration of Jesus Christ in 33 A.D. and claims to be another Messiah. During their talk, the London-born filmmaker revealed that a very exciting collaboration will appear on this movie’s soundtrack, which is expected to come out when it drops at all applicable theaters in the United States on Friday, January 12.

“It’s so deep,” Jeymes Samuel remarked to the crowd, who went wild with cheers after this next line. “We got D’Angelo and Jay-Z on the same track. Like, 9 minutes and 32 seconds of absolute, soulful, biblical bliss.” Of course, this is an incredibly exciting prospect, especially considering how rare it is for the soul icon to drop music these days. Furthermore, this also follows the Roc-A-Fella mogul’s recent remarks on whether or not he will drop more music in the future. As such, we really need to treasure this moment if it manifests, because we don’t know when something of this magnitude will happen again.

Jeymes Samuel Announces Jay-Z & D’Angelo Collab: Watch

Whether Jay-Z or D’Angelo will drop another album is a mystery, but with what they’ve already done, they can coast off their craft as long as they live. When it comes to the fields of hip-hop and soul (and beyond) respectively, you’d be hard-pressed to find more acclaimed, respected, and accomplished artists. What’s more is that the Richmond native has always had a strong tie to the rap game that makes this feel very natural. For example, he brought out Method Man and Redman (two former collaborators), plus more special guests for his Verzuz appearance.

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn MC’s birthday might become a national holiday if the NYC Council gets its way. Titans like Big Daddy Kane expressed their support for the initiative, so we’ll see if it receives approval in public office. For our money, we’d throw the Voodoo creative into that ring, too. For more news and the latest updates on Jay-Z and D’Angelo, check back in with HNHH.

Kid Cudi Voices His Frustrations With Juice WRLD’s Team After “INSANO” Collaboration Falls Through

In just about a week, Cleveland, Ohio rapper and singer Kid Cudi, will be dropping his 10th project, INSANO. Over the past couple of weeks, we have received some exciting updates on the details of the project. We have come to learn the feature list, producing credits, as well as the release date. Fans can expect the album to hit all streaming platforms on Friday, January 12, presumably at midnight. So far, quite a few singles have been rolled out.

Cudi put out a two-pack on Soundcloud, “ILL WHAT I BLEED/MOST AIN’T DENNIS.” We also got “PORSCHE TOPLESS,” as well as “AT THE PARTY” with two of several guests Travis Scott and Pharrell Williams. The hitmaker is also including Pusha T, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Yachty, and ASAP Rocky. Juice WRLD was going to make the cut too. But, according to HipHopDX, it looks like that fell through.

Kid Cudi Calls Out Juice WRLD’s Estate, But Things Seem To Be OK?

Cudster put out a tweet that read, “Hey gang, so I never heard back from Juice team, they said we could use it on my album and they would use it on his, but his team went ghost when we reached out and its been months so it wont be on the deluxe. I tried but u know, whatever [shrugging emoji] not me.” However, the master hummer posted an Instagram story screenshot from Peter Jideonwo. He is Juice’s former manager but is still involved with his team.

Peter replied to Cudi, saying, “Song is cleared for @kidcudi but since it’s on the party never ends [Juice’s next album] it can’t come out till the release. It can be added to [Cudi’s] album after that happens since his album has to come out now.” He goes on, “No one is ignoring or not responding to him. He knows this information and that’s the deal.” The rapper was made aware of this by a random Twitter user and it seems all things are good now. Cudi writes back, “First me hearin this. Never was told it cant come out til his album does. Thats cool tho. We have answers. Power of a tweet.” So, maybe we will get it after all? We will have to wait and see.

Lena The Plug Reveals Her “Dream Collab” For 2024

Lena The Plug has said that Jaidyn Alexis is her “dream collab” for 2024. Lena’s comment came as part of a repost from a New Year’s tweet from her husband, Adam22, showing Lena and Jaidyn linking up at a New Year’s party. “Me and Blueface watching you guys make out,” Adam wrote in the replies. Furthermore, the No Jumper host added a gif of Beavis and Butthead head-banging. Alexis, as well as Blueface, is yet to respond to Lena’s post.

However, just before the new year, Lena also gave a candid interview on No Jumper about what it would take for her to leave the porn industry. Lena’s answer came down to two primary factors. Firstly, she expressed a firm boundary – if she didn’t feel 100% connected to porn anymore, she would leave. And secondly, she stated that while she doesn’t mind being called a “MILF”, she has no interest in doing “MILF” scenes, especially ones where she would have to roleplay. Despite this, she made it clear that retirement is not currently in her immediate plans.

Lena The Plug Makes South Park Cameo

Furthermore, Lena made a brief cameo in a South Park episode aired just before Christmas. Lena posted a screenshot of the episode to her Instagram. Her name can be seen on a sidebar of Randy’s OnlyFans page. Content creator Tana Mongeau can also be seen in the same image. “Being included in a South Park episode is my biggest flex to date,” Lena wrote alongside the image.

Lena’s easter egg came as part of South Park: Not Suitable For Children. It was a special episode of the long-running show that specifically took aim at online pornography and especially sites like OnlyFans. In fact, the whole episode was inspired by Brianna Coppage, the now-viral teacher who was fired after her OnlyFans was discovered. Fittingly enough, Lena and Adam later filmed a threesome with Coppage.

French Montana Recruits Kanye West & Westside Gunn For Track On “Mac & Cheese 5”

French Montana is gearing up to drop Mac & Cheese 5 later this week, and it looks like fans are in for some great collabs. The final installment of the series is due in on January 5, complete with verses from Lil Durk, Drake, Offset, Kodak Black, and more. He even managed to get Kanye West and Westside Gunn on the same song, “Where They At.”

Westside Gunn took to Twitter today to express his excitement, sharing the star-studded tracklist with followers. “New FRENCH MONTANA X WSG X KANYE WEST dropping tomorrow night !!!!!!!” he wrote. “Let’s kick the year off RIGHT #SUPERFLYGOD#Culture#ART.” Based on his comments section, fans, like the Griselda co-founder, can’t wait.

Westside Gunn Urges Fans To “Kick The Year Off Right”

As the project’s release date approaches, French Montana unveiled its cover art, which is a callback to his Moroccan roots. On the cover, he’s seen with the flag’s pentagram painted on his face, illuminated by red and green lights. He’s not the only one of the trio dropping new music either. Ye has also been hard at work with Ty Dolla Sign on their upcoming joint album, Vultures. The project has already seen various delays, however, and as of today no longer has a release date. It’s unclear exactly what the hold-up is, but according to his frequent collaborator Malik Yusef, he’s “redoing verses or making new ones.”

As for Westside Gunn, he just recently teamed up with The Alchemist and Conway the Machine to unveil their follow-up to Hall & Nash. Initially scrapped, the original version of Hall & Nash 2 was released exclusively on physical formats. The trio promises a new version of the mixtape later this year. What do you think of French Montana getting Ye and Westside Gunn on the same track? Are you looking forward to hearing his new mixtape, Mac & Cheese 5? B.G. Says NBA YoungBoy Collab Is In The Works

In September of last year, B.G. was finally released from federal prison after serving more than a decade for gun and witness tampering charges. The New Orleans-born performer has wasted no time getting back into things, hitting the studio only days after he got out. Since his release, he’s worked alongside the likes of Boosie Badazz, Sexyy Red and Kevin Gates, Gucci Mane, and more. He plans to continue making the most of his newfound freedom, recently teasing yet another high-profile collab.

Earlier this week, B.G. was chatting with fans on Instagram Live when one user asked him if he’d consider collaborating with NBA YoungBoy. According to him, the project is already underway. In a new clip, the Hot Boys rapper assures commenters that his project with YB will arrive soon. “I hollered at YB yesterday, man,” he revealed. “Ya heard me? It’s coming. It’s coming. That’s a fact.

B.G. Teases NBA YoungBoy Collab On IG Live

Clearly, B.G. isn’t looking to slow down in 2024, and fans can’t wait to see what else he has up his sleeve. As for YB, Judge Shelly D. Dick recently loosened the 24-year-old’s house arrest restrictions following his team’s motion citing his declining mental health. He’s now allowed to leave “Gravedigger Mountain” for medical appointments, court appearances, and other activities approved by his pretrial supervision officer.

He also recently spoke with Gillie and Wallo on their Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast, sharing his plans to pull back on some of his vices. “[I had to go to rehab] two weekends ago, I think,” he explained. “Now I’m kind of taking on just therapy from now on. I’ve been doing a lot of rich sipping, and smoking these nasty a** cigarettes. Yeah, they’ve been tearing my a** up though, man. I wanna stop smoking them so bad.” What do you think of B.G. revealing that plans to collab with NBA YoungBoy? Are you looking forward to hearing what they cook up? Conway The Machine & Swizz Beatz Have A Collab On The Way, Griselda Alum Shares

If you still caught up with hip-hop releases during the 2023 holiday season, you probably heard Conway The Machine’s newly released collaborative tape with Westside Gunn and The Alchemist, Hall & Nash 2. Moreover, you’ll be very pleased to know that he apparently doesn’t plan to slow down his prolific release schedule at all in 2024. Not only does the Drumwork label boss have his artists to push and support, but he’s also cooking up plenty of material on his own. During an Instagram Live session on Friday (December 29), he previewed a hopefully upcoming collaboration with none other than legendary Ruff Ryders (and beyond) producer Swizz Beatz.

Unfortunately, that snippet is pretty much all the information that we have about this cut: no title, no release date, and no project it’s set to appear on. Hopefully that changes soon as both artists think of what their next moves will be. The one and only Swizz Beatz, for example, recently shared that he has enough DMX material in the vault to craft a posthumous album. It’s unclear whether he’ll actually go through with it, though, as those releases tend to be pretty difficult, let alone controversial if done with the slightest disrespect or lack of care.

Conway The Machine Previews Swizz Beatz Collab: Listen

Other than Swizz Beatz and The Alchemist, Conway The Machine linked with the likes of Big Ghost Ltd., Wun Two, Conductor Williams, and many more beatsmiths for either single releases or full-length project team-ups. Of these, we’d highly recommend you check out the Williams-led CONDUCTOR MACHINE. With the Griselda-adjacent sound becoming so popular and imitated, there’s nothing like an OG pairing to refresh its quality. That’s exactly what this duo achieved over just a few tracks, and hopefully quality continues to trump quantity.

Meanwhile, Swizz recently joined Timbaland at the 2023 BET Hip-Hop Awards to announce that Verzuz is making a return. If the drumless/Griselda-affiliated camp were to participate, which two MCs of this style would you like to see face off in one of these battles? Let us know in the comments section down below. In addition, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Conway The Machine and Swizz Beatz.

J. Cole & Veeze Spark Collab Demands After They Link Up At Lil Baby’s Birthday Show

Veeze ended up being the rapper that grew on us the most in 2023 thanks to a consistent and wholly uncompromising run of hits and moves. If we had to bet, we’d say next year will be an even more successful one for him, and both his fans and Dreamville die-hards now have something to pray for when it comes to this. Moreover, the Detroit rapper and J. Cole recently linked up at Lil Baby’s birthday concert at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. In the former’s Instagram recap of the event, he included a picture with Cole, which led listeners from either spectrum to theorize what a collab between them would sound like.

Furthermore, the North Carolina spitter might choose to ride over Veeze’s plugg-inspired and drowsy take on Detroit flows and beats. It would be a bit of a bizarre matchup, but a welcome one nonetheless considering J. Cole’s absolutely absurd feature run. On the other hand, the Ganger MC might have a secret skillset of lyricism under his sleeve, or more versatility than he’s letting on. As such, no matter what direction this (hypothetically) goes in, there’s a wealth of reasons as to why this would be something engaging, special, and innovative.

Veeze’s Instagram Recap Of Lil Baby’s Birthday Show

Not only that, but this also follows plenty of big moves for Veeze this year, whose seeds will hopefully grow in 2024. For example, he launched the Navy Wavy label imprint under Warner Records, ushering in what might be a new era for him as a director, businessman, and curator of talent. “Going golfing with Aaron Bay-Schuck and Tom Corson [Warner’s chairmen; CEO and COO, respectively] really persuaded me to do the partnership,” the “ATL Freestyle” artist stated. “Those guys are first-class gentlemen and I can see myself learning a lot from them.”

Meanwhile, the “m y . l i f e” wordsmith recently got his flowers from Nicki Minaj herself for out-rapping her on their collab off her new album, Pink Friday 2. As such, you know that he’s poised to dominate any feature he touches. But don’t let that trick you into thinking Veeze can’t rise up to any challenge. For more news and the latest updates on him and J. Cole, stay posted on HNHH.
