Conway The Machine, Method Man, SK Da King, & Flee Lord Bring Straight Lyricism On “Meth Back!”

Conway the Machine assembled the Avengers for his brand-new album Slant Face Killah (SFK). His fourth studio album, and follow-up to WON’T HE DO IT, was rumored to be the side B of the latter. However, the prolific Buffalo-bred rapper decided to come through with a separate entity and it has been one of the stronger releases of the year. One cut that Conway the Machine provided on this LP that we have been spinning again and again is “Meth Back!”

This one of many tracks that boasts some incredible guest talent. Based on the title, you might have been able to guess that Wu-Tang legend Method Man was a feature. That assumption would be correct, but he is not the only G.O.A.T. joining Conway. Underground vets Flee Lord and SK Da King pop up for one the nastiest old school hip-hop tracks of 2024.

Listen To “Meth Back!” By Conway The Machine, Method Man, SK Da King, & Flee Lord

Instrumental alone, this track is incredible. Daringer, fellow Buffalo resident and in-house producer for Griselda, lays down a simple but effective beat. The ghostly woodwind loop on top of the dirty drums is a lethal combination. Then, we you add in everyone’s terrific pen game and intimidating cadence, it is a recipe for straight gas. It is hard to pick who had the best outing, but Meth’s might take the cake for us.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new song “Meth Back!” by Conway the Machine, Method Man, SK Da King, and Flee Lord? Where does this track rank amongst the rest on Slant Face Killah (SFK)? Who had the stronger performance on this cut? Where do you place this tape in his discography and why? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. The work I’m supplyin’ y’all just workers providin’ ’em

That’s wordplay, find my best words on my worst day

Mozzy & Eric Bellinger Are “JADED” By The “Loyalty” On Their New Single

Sacramento, California rapper Mozzy is someone you go to if you want street anthems and bangers. Today, he is bringing just that with an R&B legend. Mozzy and Eric Bellinger are here with a new single “JADED.” This record is to help promote the rapper’s forthcoming album Children of The Slums.

So far, Mozzy has presumably put out three other tracks for his 45th (!) project. Those include “IF I DIE RIGHT NOW,” “AIN’T ON S***,” and “FREE JUJU.” All of those were released in 2023. This also marks the first solo track for Mozzy in 2024. According to Genius, fans can expect Children of The Slums on Friday April 19.

For Mozzy and Eric Bellinger, this is their fourth collaboration. Their previous efforts include “Gang Slide,” which landed on the R&B star’s latest record The Rebirth 3: The Party & The Bedroom, “One of Those,” and “Can’t Let You Go.” For “JADED,” the two prolific artists are rapping and singing about being careful who you are loyal to. However, they are so jaded about it, that it hard to trust anyone now.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “JADED,” by Mozzy and Eric Bellinger? Is this the best track he has put out as of late, why or why not? What is your favorite element of the track and why? Who had the better performance on the song and why? Does this get you excited for Mozzy’s upcoming album Children of The Slums? KYLE & Teezo Touchdown Link Up For “Somethin Bout U” Single: Stream

The biggest names in hip-hop are hoping to end 2023 on a high note after taking over half the year to secure a No. 1 single and album. This New Music Friday (November 10) in particular brought forth plenty of must-hear new albums and singles, including a joint effort from Meek Mill and Rick Ross, as well as a surprise LP from Kodak Black which name drops both Kylie Jenner and Ariana Grande. One of the most unique collaborations to land on DSPs yesterday is “Somethin Bout U” from KYLE and Teezo Touchdown.

The joint effort finds the pair trading verses about the object of their affection. “I wanna make somethin’ with my face and your face / ‘That’s a beautiful baby,’ that’s what thе nurse say,” Teezo sings early on over the Alex Goldblatt and Khristopher Riddick-Tynes-produced beat. When they come together on the chorus, he and KYLE croon about many women they’ve previously crossed paths with being “all the same.”

“Girls are all the same / But girl it’s something / But it’s somethin’, somethin’ about you,” the eclectic duo assures their love interests. “And when we touch, it feels like heaven, pray for you, girl, you’re a blessin’ / And when you’re ready to talk, I’ll listen,” KYLE later sings, closing out yet another fit that his fanbase is already loving.

Listen to KYLE and Teezo Touchdown’s one-of-a-kind new single, “Somethin Bout U” above. If you’re feeling the collab, make sure to add it to your playlist on Spotify/Apple Music. Teezo’s name has been all over the music industry lately, largely due to a collaboration with Drake on his For All The Dogs album, read what the rising star had to say about being co-signed by the Canadian at the link below, and check back later for more HNHH release recommendations.

Nas’ And Lil Wayne’s Bars Will “Never Die” Out

Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones, better known as Nas, is back with his third album of 2023. The 50-year-old’s work ethic is unlike anything we have ever seen in the history of the genre. Since 2020, he and his partner in crime, Hit-Boy, have released tons of music. In fact, this is their sixth album in a row. Furthermore, the duo has gone on to complete two trilogies in this span. The first one to reach finality was the King’s Disease series, which wrapped up on April 28, 2023. Now, the Magic continues with the third and last installment. God’s Son released this album on his birthday no less so you know he had to end things on a high note.

The Queens, New York icon did just that, with Magic 3 being the lengthiest project out of the trio. It features a tracklist of 15 cuts with a runtime of 45 minutes and 50 seconds, to be exact. What is also impressive about this album, is that Nas and Hit-Boy handle all of the production here. That speaks to how great Nas is because his rapping across this project is rock solid all the way through.

Listen To “Never Die” From Nas, Hit-Boy, And Lil Wayne

There is plenty of quality here, but one that might stand above the rest for most listeners is “Never Die.” It is the sixth cut off of the record and it possesses the only feature which is Lil Wayne. These two do not have a long work history with Nas appearing on the “Outro” of Tha Carter IV (Complete Edition). Even with their short track record both trade some truly incredible flows, wordplay, and bars on this punchy three-minute song. Some of Wayne’s bars are below, but Nas goes off too. “This my Tom Cruise flow, top gun, they too slow / Computers ain’t fast enough to keep up with Nasty ’cause.”

What are your initial thoughts on this brand new track from Nas, Hit-Boy, and Lil Wayne, “Never Die?” Is this the best song off of Magic 3? Who had the best performance on this track? We want to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below. Megan Thee Stallion Dances In Style, Excitedly Teases Cardi B Collab Single’s Release

Everyone’s anticipating the release of Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s (semi) musical return with “BONGOS,” whether you’re excited for it or not. The track absolutely took over social media without even coming out yet, and ahead of its Friday (September 8) release date, many wonder how it’ll shape up. Are we getting another “WAP”-style hit from the femcees or something else entirely? After all, it’s been a while since Megan dropped new material, and it seems like she’s really looking forward to it. Moreover, she posted a video on Instagram of her dancing excitedly while doing her makeup and hair with the caption “Good Morninggg! BONGOS OUT AT MIDNIGHT.”

Of course, the Texas MC is just as excited as the Bronx spitter, who recently joked about making “BONGOS” scratch-and-sniff CDs. Not only that, but she was also left speechless when asked whether Beyoncé is going to be on her next album. Considering the chemistry that Megan The Stallion and her fellow Houston superstar shared on “S*vage,” there’s reason to believe a Cardi Bey collab would also be impressive. In just a couple of hours, we’ll see just how great this team-up turns out.

Megan Thee Stallion Dances As She Waits For “BONGOS”

However, that’s not all that the 28-year-old has to think about this week, although the other instance is a bit odd. Megan Thee Stallion recently received new platinum certifications for tracks like “Sweetest Pie” with Dua Lipa and “Cash S**t.” Also, Traumanize was certified gold by the RIAA over a year since its official release in August of 2022. While it’s definitely reason to celebrate, many felt that their label, 1501 Entertainment, shouldn’t be celebrating this as they did, as they took to Instagram to congratulate Meg.

For those unaware, the “NDA” artist is not in a good place with her label at the moment, stemming from contract issues and other allegations. As such, many fans rushed to her defense in the label’s comments section, saying that they didn’t do anything to contribute to these songs. Regardless, it seems like “BONGOS” might be another step in Megan’s career that will further distance her from negativity and further toward a resurgence. With that in mind, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Megan Thee Stallion.

Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion’s Collab Single “BONGOS” Drops This Week

The Bardi Gang and the Hotties are losing their minds on social media right now, because what they’ve been waiting for is finally here. Amid a lot of successful singles, features, legal drama, relationship drama, and a whole lot else, both femcees have been relatively quiet on the solo music release front. However, that all changed on Monday (September 4) when Cardi B finally followed up her promise for a big announcement. What’s more is that this actually confirms previous rumors and brings us not just one rap return, but two. Moreover, she and Megan Thee Stallion will release their new single “BONGOS” this week, on Friday (September 8).

Of course, this is incredibly exciting news for fans of either artist, or for people that want another smash rap hit. After all, these are the two ladies that brought us “WAP”: how could they not have another banger on their hands? No matter what Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion bring us this time, though, it still marks the start of the former’s new album rollout, presumably. The Invasion Of Privacy era is no more, and after five years of waiting, it’s a welcome treat.

Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion’s “BONGOS” Comes Out This Week

Sure, this is confirmation that followed an innumerable amount of teases, hints, and speculation about the Bronx MC’s next moves. Said excitement also goes for Megan Thee Stallion. Regardless, Cardi B seems more ready than ever to usher in a new phase of her career for fans. “I’m not going to release any more collaborations, I’m going to put out my next solo single,” she told Vogue Mexico in an August cover story (which didn’t age well, but hey, we’re not complaining). “Right now I’m working on the cover art and ideas for the next record because it’s definitely coming up. So stay tuned because it’s coming out very soon. I also have plans in the world of cinema. In fact, I have plans to do everything I can: fashion, branding, I want to do it all, honey.”

Meanwhile, fans wonder whether this will mark a stylistic shift for either artist. Are we getting another hip-hop trunk-knocker and club rager, or is there something fresh to uncover? We’ll have to wait until this Friday to see. With that in mind, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion.

Queen Naija & NBA YoungBoy Won’t Accept “No Fake Love” On Their New Single

The first of September just so happens to fall on a New Music Friday, so we’re kicking the month off on a high note. Some of the biggest names in hip-hop are racking up streams on their latest singles, including Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne. We unfortunately still haven’t heard anything from Drake’s For All The Dogs album, but Queen Naija and NBA YoungBoy’s “No Fake Love” is another noteworthy track worth checking out.

Naija has been hinting at dropping a song with the Louisana native for a while now, and the pair certainly didn’t disappoint. While the 27-year-old’s stunning vocals carry us through the first half of “No Fake Love,” YB comes in with a well-crafted verse to remind us why C-Murder gave him such high praise recently. “I know you got your own, I just wanna hold you down / For me, you’d do the same, I’m who to blame, I kept fake love around,” the young star’s romantic rap begins.

“No Fake Love” from Queen Naija and NBA YoungBoy is Here

This is the third single Naija has delivered so far in 2023. Just days into January she unleashed “Let’s Talk About It,” and in mid-spring, we heard her stunning “Words of Affirmation.” Though she often ends up in the middle of internet drama that has nothing to do with her, the vocalist has been in her own lane and thriving recently, and we can’t wait to see who she’ll connect with next.

Watch the brand new visual for Queen Naija and NBA YoungBoy’s “No Fake Love” single above, and add the track to your playlist on Spotify/Apple Music. The R&B diva has put out plenty of impressive collaborations throughout her career so far, and this one only adds to her list. Sexyy Red Says Lil Durk Remix Has Her “Lost For Words” Ahead Of Release

Seeing as Sexyy Red’s most famous bars are completely unserious lines like “My coochie pink, my bootyhole brown,” many were skeptical of how far the redhead could take herself in the rap industry. Despite rumours that salacious songs from female artists are becoming less attractive to the general public, Red’s Hood Hottest Princess album helped solidify her space in the industry. In fact, she has some of the most popular male rappers desperate to meet her, including Drake, G Herbo, and Tyler, The Creator. Another artist who was eager to work with the 25-year-old is Lil Durk, and much to fan’s pleasure, they’ve been teasing a collaboration on Twitter throughout the last few weeks of August.

“Feel like going on my feature run,” the Chicago native shared with fans on Twitter recently. “I’m healed. First stop, Sexy Red. Second stop, ytbFATT,” Durk added. Of course, the rap diva was quick to point out the misspelling of her name. “Dang, [you] gon spell my name wrong Lil Jerk?” she quipped.

Sexyy Red and Lil Durk Promote Their Remix on Twitter

It’s obviously never pleasant to have one’s name spelled incorrectly, especially by a co-worker, though Durk and Red seem to be having fun with their online banter ahead of the “HELLCATS & SRTS (Remix)” release. The Voice tweeted out a photo of a computer screen on which he once again spelt his collaborator’s moniker wrong. “Cexy Reddd lol for calling me Jerk,” he playfully teased her. Once she got the message on Tuesday (August 29) morning, the “Hood Rats” hitmaker replied, “Ok lol, Luh Derk got me lost for words right now 😭.”

Even with all the time she’s been spending in the studio and on stage performing lately, Sexyy Red still managed to cross something major off her bucket list earlier this month. The St. Louis-born star attended her first-ever frat party, and she definitely brought the right attitude to the event. Gucci Mane & J. Cole Join Forces For Mike WiLL Made-It-Produced Single This Friday

1017 leader Gucci Mane has had an impressive summer of new music so far. In June, he and Lil Baby came together on “Bluffin.” This was followed the next month by “Married with Millions.” Of course, we can’t forget his clever play on one of the most popular films in theatres right now with “Woppenheimer,” as well as the more recent “Now It’s Real” and “Broken Hearted.” Most, if not all of these titles will appear on the Southern star’s upcoming Breath of Fresh Air album. Alongside them will be a J. Cole collaboration that was announced on Tuesday (August 22) morning.

“My diamonds go brrr it’s a Cole world @realcoleworld 🌎,” Gucci wrote on Instagram earlier today. “Dropping Friday 🥶🥶,” he added. In the accompanying image, we see the lyricists hanging out in a white room together, both looking confident with elements of red incorporated into their stylish outfits. While the North Carolina native and his friend will be handling the bars on “There I Go,” they’ve tapped Mike WiLL Made-It to assist them with production.

The sound engineer has been busy over the past few months. Ahead of last weekend’s New Music Friday (August 18), he joined forces with Lil Uzi Vert to make music magic on “Blood Moon.” It’s set to appear on LUV’s upcoming Barter 16 project, which will follow hip-hop’s first No. 1 album of the year, The Pink Tape, from the Philly native.

J. Cole is still cooking up things for The Fall Off, however, the Dreamville head honcho has given out a handful of noteworthy features to other artists in recent months. He came through for Summer Walker’s Clear 2 EP with “Audio Hug,” and besides this upcoming Gucci Mane collab, he’ll also be appearing on Burna Boy’s upcoming I Told Them album. Jessie Reyez & Miguel Paint A Seriously Sexy Picture On “JEANS”: Stream

Miguel and Jessie Reyez are both talented R&B vocalists in their own right, but now that they’ve come together on “JEANS,” we’re craving a collab EP from the pair. The new single landed on Friday (August 18), following the “Criminal” hitmaker’s joint effort with Lil Yachty, “Number 9,” the weekend before. This release is equally as buzz-worthy, and extremely sensual in nature. It finds two lovers going back and forth with bedroom innuendos, seemingly talking each other through an orgasm with their verses.

“‘Cause I might let you do it, I might let you shoot it / ‘Cause she need some milk / She need somethin’ real, real bad,” the Canadian croons on the first verse after carrying us through the chorus. “The atoms between us have melted away, and we’re one tonight / When I see the way of your eyes, I know I, I’m doin’ it right,” Miguel later responds.

Jessie Reyez and Miguel Turn Up the Heat on “JEANS”

In the accompanying music video, Reyez is arrested while robbing a small convenience store, and she certainly gives the officer processing her a hard time with her bratty antics. When she’s finally made it to her cell, she and Miguel get as close as they can with the bars separating them. Though there’s only so much they can do physically, their lust for each other is obvious, and expressed through song rather than touch.

Check out the sultry visual for Jessie Reyez’s “JEANS” single with Miguel above. If you’re feeling the collab like we are, be sure to add it to your playlist on Spotify/Apple Music. For more HNHH release recommendations, check back in later this weekend.
