Childhood Fame: Zendaya Talks Downside Of Disney Stardom At 13, Being An “Angsty Teen” In Adulthood

At just 27 years old, Zendaya is already one of the most stylish women in entertainment. This is largely thanks to the work of her stylist, Law Roach, who knows exactly how to accentuate the actresses’ best features. Her latest roles include the Spider-Man franchise opposite her beau, Tom Holland, as well as Dune and its sequel with Timothée Chalamet. Before all of that, Zendaya was only 13 when her career initially began on Disney Channel, which she spoke about candidly in a new British Vogue interview.

“It’s funny, because it’s something that I’m figuring out now. I don’t know how much of a choice I had. I have complicated feelings about kids and fame and being in the public eye, or being a child actor,” Z shared when asked what teenage her thought about the possibility of her career not flourishing in adulthood. “We’ve seen a lot of cases of it being detrimental,” she continued, seemingly referencing the likes of Amanda Bynes, Orlando Brown and countless others who got their start on Nickelodeon or Disney.

Zendaya went on, “I’m almost going through my angsty teenager phase now because I didn’t really have the time to do it before. I felt like I was thrust into a very adult position: I was becoming the breadwinner of my family very early, and there was a lot of role-reversal happening, and just kind of becoming grown, really.”

Many of our favourite former child stars are speaking out amid the situation with Nickelodeon, leaving us to wonder who else has yet to tell their harrowing stories of abuse. Thankfully Zendaya’s negative feelings mostly came from within her own family dynamic, but the same isn’t true for victims like Drake Bell. Review the allegations brought forth against Dan Schneider and his colleagues at the link below, and check back later for more music/pop culture news updates.

Jim Jones Skeptical About Jada Pinkett Smith Selling Crack As A Teen: “We Need To Go See If They Got Some Fiends That Can Verify”

More revelations about Jada Pinkett Smith’s discoveries of hard drugs and psychedelics continue to be shared with the world. The actress and “wife” of Will Smith recently put out her controversial memoir, Worthy, back on October 4. As of now, it is receiving plenty of backlash and comments from everyone. Names like Chris Rock, who was involved with the viral Academy Awards slap, have made plenty of remarks around it. Others include Will, of course, 50 Cent, Stephen A. Smith, and plenty more.

One more we can add to the list is Dipset rap legend, Jim Jones. In a recent AllHipHop piece, Jim is calling out Jada for her drug-dealing past as a teenager. In her memoir, she details that selling crack and other hard substances was the way to make money in Baltimore. “I decided to sell drugs.” Smith continues,  “Growing up, the drug dealers were the ones that had affluence. That’s what we readily saw as success.” Jim is wanting to hear from the supposed fiends that Jada was selling to back in the day.

Jim Jones Wants Answers About Jada Pinkett Smith’s Past

In the video above, Jim appears to be flabbergasted at the idea that she was moving like that as a kid. The rapper now wants to hear from Smith’s customers. “If you sold crack in the nineties, nine times out of ten, there’s still some crackheads in the neighborhood that can vouch that you were selling that butter.” He continues, “We need to go check and see if they got some fiends that can verify, validify that she was selling that she had that butter on the block for sale.” While Jim and others are skeptical about this, Jada has heavily references to drugs in her book, so maybe she is being truthful?

What are your initial thoughts on Jim Jones calling out Jada Pinkett Smith and her selling crack during her childhood? Are you on Jones’ side, or do you trust that Jada Pinkett Smith is telling the truth? If Jada and Will Smith did not have such a rocky relationship, would her memoir be this controversial? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below. SZA Reveals She Has Let Fans Sleep Over At Her House

SZA is someone who has been having an exceptional year. Back in 2022, she dropped off S.O.S. This turned out to be a huge return to music, and fans adored it. Overall, some felt it was even better than CTRL, an album that was almost impossible to top. At this point, SZA is a megastar and nothing can stop her. From features on Utopia to For All The Dogs, it is clear that she is firmly at the top of the r&b world right now.

Unfortunately, the artist hasn’t always been on top as it pertains to the spaces she has operated in. For instance, when the artist was in elementary and middle school, she faced some intense bullying. According to AllHipHop, this subsequently led SZA down a path toward empathy. She has a ton of empathy for her fans, and it is ultimately why she goes out of her way to connect with them. “I’m never off the clock for my fans, because I love that sh*t,” she explained. “They’re my family, and they’re my people. I know what it’s like to feel small or like somebody doesn’t care, because that’s who I was my whole life.”

Overall, she is actually friends with some of these supporters, and she wants to make sure they feel included in her circle. “In middle school, elementary school, I wasn’t popular. So I try to make sure n****s know ‘I hear you, I see you. I have time to stop for you. Yes, we can smoke together, you can come backstage. G Herbo Looks Just Like His Son In Childhood Photos

When fans get a glimpse of who rappers used to be earlier in their life, it can make for a shocking or heartening moment. Moreover, fans definitely tuned in more with the latter emotion when they saw resurfaced childhood pictures of G Herbo. In fact, many believe that he looked just like his son Yosohn, whom he shares with Ari Fletcher. In addition to the five-year-old, the Chicago rapper also has two kids with girlfriend Taina Williams. They became engaged in late 2020, and they had their first child in May of 2021.

However, the relationship between G Herbo and Fletcher is one that fans and media outlets alike are still invested in. That sentiment only grew as of late, with them both showing respectful and sweet co-parenting moments. Also, recent expressions from Herbo point to a more reflective and measured look at their relationship. For example, while speaking to Yung Miami on her Caresha Please podcast, the 27-year-old had some thoughtful words on his former flame. Furthermore, he expressed regret for starting his relationship with Williams while he was still with Ari.

G Herbo’s Childhood Photos Resurface

“Me and Ari was at a space, and I done talked to her about this already, I done already bid my peace and apologized,” he started. “But we was at a space where, like I said, mentally I be going through shit and I gotta separate myself from shit. Me and her was having our differences but that was no excuse to cheat on her, that was not why I cheated on her. I didn’t intentionally do all that.” G Herbo also said that he wasn’t supportive enough to Fletcher when she experienced postpartum depression, which lines up with when he started cheating.

“I was naïve to that though,” the Welcome To Fazoland MC continued. “I ain’t never been around a woman who was suffering from postpartum depression or none of that. And at the same time, when she was going through that, I had just lost one of my best friends, I lost my homie C Money. So I was super stressed and shit. But that ain’t no excuse, I ain’t making no excuse. I had to make peace with myself early on. Cuz I thought I was right back then.” For more news and updates on G Herbo, stay logged into HNHH.

Chlöe Shares Throwback Pic With Beyoncé

Chlöe’s been in the industry for a while, and a throwback pic with Beyoncé is one of her most treasured reminders of that. Moreover, the In Pieces singer recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and reflected on working with Bey as a child. Furthermore, she shared a picture of both of them on the set of the 2003 film The Fighting Temptations as she spoke of her industry experience. Given the Bailey sister’s performances in other media such as the recently released and Donald Glover-led TV show “Swarm,” her longtime star power should come as no surprise. Still, it’s heartening to see that two stars of R&B go way back.

“She was so nice to me and even at the wrap party she’d hold me, and we’d dance the night away,” Chlöe remarked about her costar. “That was the moment my love really began for her because she was so kind to little Chloe.” She shocked no one when she mentioned Beyoncé as one of her major influences as a singer, performer, and multi-hyphenate artist. Clearly, taking notes from the RENAISSANCE superstar got Halle Bailey’s sister and duo partner very far in the industry.

Chlöe & Beyoncé Go Way Back

What’s more is that Chlöe will soon stun fans live at her first-ever headlining tour in support of her debut solo album. Beginning on April 11 in Chicago, she’ll embark on a nationwide trek through May 3 in Los Angeles, which she expressed much excitement for. “I’m headlining my very own solo tour performing all the songs from the new album,” she wrote in the Instagram announcement post in February. “Y’all I’m so excited. See you there.”

Meanwhile, Chlöe recently remarked how staying off social media went for her. “For a minute, I removed all socials off my phone and I just turned it over to my team,” she stated on The Tamron Hall Show. “Of course I’d make the content, I’d come up with the captions and I would just send it to them, but I got rid of my social media because I realized the things people were saying.” For the latest news and updates on both Chlöe and Beyoncé, stick around on HNHH.
