The Game Reveals Dr. Dre’s Reaction To His Kanye West Comments

The Game says that Dr. Dre wasn’t offended by his controversial comments on Kanye West. Speaking with VladTV, Game recalled his infamous remark that West did “more for his career” in two weeks than the legendary producer ever did.

“At that time, Ye was doing a lot for me that he didn’t necessarily have to do. And Ye has always been there for me and always had my back,” he said. “What I can say about Dre is Dre ain’t always had my back — for good reason. Dre has to protect the interests of Dr. Dre. And there’s times when Ye had to protect the interests of Ye, but he didn’t give a f*ck. He’d rather just go to bat for me.”

He continued: “I was just speaking my truth … I’m pretty sure when Dre heard it, he didn’t feel slighted. He knew where it was coming from because I talk to him every so often, so it wasn’t like I was picking on Dre. He should have and I know that he understood where that came from when I said it. Fat Joe Doesn’t Want His Kids To Be Rappers

Fat Joe says he’s warned his children against pursuing a career in hip-hop. He explained why he wants them to look elsewhere for their futures during an appearance at the United Masters x Earn Your Leisure panel at Art Basel in Miami, last week.

“I tell my daughter all the time, she ain’t with it and she ain’t listening to me, but I tell her all the time,” Joe revealed. “She be like, ‘what you want me to be, Dad?’ and I be like, ‘An accountant.’ And she’s like, ‘Why?’ I say, ‘I don’t want us to get robbed no more. I don’t want you to get robbed.’ Because if I die, I’m leaving her some sh*t.”

During a recent chat with TMZ, Ryan Leslie revealed that Cassie may have a major comeback underway, including an upcoming tour. The outlet asked Leslie about the performer’s recent lawsuit against Diddy, which came with a long list of horrific allegations. While he couldn’t provide much insight into that relationship, he shared that things were looking hopeful for the Connecticut native the last time they spoke.

“I think that was much further past after our working relationship,” he said of her allegations against Diddy. “The last conversation we had, she’s planning for a tour.” He didn’t share any additional details of the potential tour, but it’s safe to say that fans would love to see Cassie back on the road.

While Cassie and Diddy reached a settlement shortly after she filed, her suit was followed by three others. “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,” her statement on the settlement reads. “I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support.” Various women have accused the Bad Boy Records founder of sexual assault, physical and emotional abuse, and more. He has since denied any and all wrongdoing. He accuses his alleged victims of filing as a “money-grab” and claims that “enough is enough.”

As she moves forward from the bombshell lawsuit, Cassie’s been spending her time surrounded by loved ones. Most recently, she was spotted enjoying a meal at Serendipity in NYC accompanied by her husband, Alex Fine. Their two little ones, Frankie and Sunny, also joined them for the outing. Travis Scott Pursued Being A Kidney Doctor Before Music

During his recent interview with GQ, Travis Scott hinted at wanting to pursue a degree in architectural design at Harvard University. However, that’s wasn’t necessarily his first love in the world of academia, and in that conversation, he alluded to what he initially wanted to do with his life. Moreover, La Flame recalled his grammar school days, specifically a time when he slept over at a friend’s house. There, he met his uncle, a man who he found to be very successful and fulfilled. As such, the Houston rapper couldn’t help but ask what he did for a living, and his answer gave him one of his first career aspirations: a kidney doctor.

“We went to his crib,” Travis Scott remarked. “His crib was cr*zy. I’ve never seen a crib like this. It was OD. His dad was an ob-gyn. And I remember his uncle was at the house, and I asked his uncle, I was like, ‘What do you do?’ And he’s like, ‘I’m a nephrologist.’ He told me what it was, and I was like, ‘Yo, it’s cr*zy.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, I want to be that.’

“I don’t know why being a kidney doctor was just such… I think it was his swag,” Travis Scott explained. “Like, his whole swag was just, like, he was fresh. I don’t know. It was the idea of just, like, saving people at the time was dope. I used to go and shadow at the hospitals [during his college days at the University of Texas in San Antonio]. So I fell in love with it more there, just the whole process of it all. I wanted to own my own practice, know the business side of it, do the medicine side of it.”

It’s my version of Neverland. Actually I got my mama a crib first, then I did that. And I just reinvested in myself, period. I got all the camera equipment that they shoot your favorite television shows and favorite movies with.”

While accepting the Global Icon Award at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, last month, he discussed how he created the iconic “Diddy Bop” move. “I got depressed and I would be in the clubs dancing in New York doing my ‘Diddy Bop,’ and then people would see me and they would cast me for videos,” he said. “That’s how I fell in love with the music industry. I saw the executives and I wanted to chase that dream. So I wanna thank every executive, every producer, every songwriter. I gotta thank the Bad Boy family ’cause without them I would not be up here. Terry Crews Reflects On Financial Insecurity Following NFL Career

Terry Crews recently reflected on “feeling devastated” amid financial insecurities following his brief NFL career. Speaking on stage at the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball on Saturday night, he detailed his struggle with breaking into the entertainment industry. Crews had played for several teams in the NFL throughout the 1990s.

“After retiring from the NFL, I struggled to get to the next level where I wanted to be,” he admitted as noted by Variety. “I tried and failed many times to secure a job in entertainment, but there was no luck. And then my wife’s wedding ring took its fourth trip to the pawn shop. When that happened, she told me maybe it’s time you widen the search and do anything that could genuinely put food on the table.”

From there, he explained that he tried picking up manual labor jobs through a temp agency. “After spending the previous night searching the couch cushions for change, I made the humbling decision to go in and register to be placed as a temp somewhere, anywhere,” Crews shared. “The temp agency sent me to a factory and when I arrived I was unceremoniously handed a broom and told to sweep the entire factory. I did that for eight hours, earning $8 for each of those hours.”

He continued: “Now, my pride left me feeling devastated. But something else happened that allowed me to reshape my mindset bit by bit. At the end of the day, I was able to put gas in the car and food on our table. I went to sleep exhausted, but I would wake up ready to take charge of my life.” In the time since, Crews has gone on to host America’s Got Talent, while also starring in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, White Chicks, and more.
