Joe Budden Reveals His Unbelievable Podcast Earnings

It’s no secret that Joe Budden is a powerful force in hip hop, with the NYC-born personality’s podcast racking up hundreds of thousands of views weekly. This, of course, raises the question of whether or not this actually translates to cash. Luckily, the subject came up during a recent episode, prompting him to open up about how much he’s earned over his ten years of podcasting.

“Off podcasting, off of this?” he began. “All together in the whole ten years? About $4M… Gross is $7M.” The room then erupted into laughter, and his co-hosts questioned whether or not he was being totally transparent. He insisted that he was, but some of them still weren’t buying it.

Joe Budden Claims He Earned $4M In 10 Years

“Early on we were doing it for free. Then we hit a little lick, Spotify. Then n***as left, the building crumbled a little bit, and my friends came and saved the day. Probably about $3.5-$4.5M… I’m serious, why do y’all think I’m lying?” Clearly, Budden isn’t looking to provide his audience with exact figures at this point. While $4M doesn’t sound too bad to most, his co-hosts and countless commenters suspect that the number is actually much higher. “Listen, years of hard work, y’all could do it too,” Budden told viewers. “It’s not unachievable. Like, this is not unimaginable if you work hard, keep your head down to the finish line man, and just focus on the content and what you need to do… $4.5M.”

What do you think of Joe Budden joking about how much he’s earned through The Joe Budden Podcast? How much do you think the personality has actually brought in over the past ten years? Wendy Williams’ Shocking Docuseries Earnings Spark Outrage Amid Exploitation Allegations

Even prior to its release, Lifetime’s new docuseries Where Is Wendy Williams? has been a hot topic of debate. The project documents the beloved personality’s battle with addiction, financial struggles, and more. Early previews sparked concern among fans, who began to grow suspicious that she was being exploited by producers. This speculation was only compounded when days before the release, it was revealed that Williams was diagnosed with dementia and aphasia. Producers have since denied knowing of Williams’ diagnosis during filming.

Now, Williams’ earnings from the docuseries have been revealed, even further fueling outrage. Reportedly, she was paid $400K. While that’s certainly no small chunk of change, some fans think she deserved far more for the project, which put some of her most vulnerable moments on display. Allegedly, the 18-page contract she signed in 2023 with Lifetime’s parent company outlines a payment plan, which would see her earn $100K per episode of the docuseries. She was also reportedly given a daily stipend of $1K to cover hair, makeup, and other grooming costs.

Producers of the doc continue to face scrutiny for their participation in the project, particularly considering some recent revelations about Williams’ financial situation. Earlier this month, for example, it was reported that there was a federal tax lien imposed on her NYC condo. Reports suggest that the icon owes the government $558,451.57 in unpaid taxes. Her ex-husband Kevin Hunter also recently accused Williams’ own sister of taking advantage of her financially.

Allegedly, her sister took roughly $15 million from her while she was undergoing treatment in Florida. What do you think of Where Is Wendy Williams? What about the personality’s reported earnings from the docuseries? Are you surprised? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign “Vultures 1” Listening Party Earnings Revealed

It’s no secret that the rollout of Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s joint album, Vultures 1, was major. After months of delays and teasing, the duo unleashed the album in full earlier this month. The release came just after their short-notice listening party in Ye’s hometown of Chicago.

Following the release, they went on to host listening events in New York, Miami, and more. The pair even hosted various subsequent events in Europe, reportedly selling out arenas in Bologna, Milan, and Paris. Of course, this is bound to raise questions about how much dough they managed to rake in through the events. According to Billboard‘s recent estimates, the number is pretty impressive.

Vultures 1 Listening Parties Reportedly Grossed Over $12 Million

The outlet reports that Ye and Ty’s listening parties in New York and Chicago each brought in about $2.4 million in ticket sales. Sales figures for the European events were unavailable at the time of writing, but tickets were going for similar prices overseas as they were in the U.S., between $140-$220. As all shows are believed to have sold out, this brings the gross total to more than a whopping $12 million.

It doesn’t look like Ye and Ty Dolla Sign plan on slowing down anytime soon, either. Rumors that Ye will embark on a world tour sometime in the near future are brewing, and the second installment of Vultures is only days away. Vultures 2 is currently expected to drop on March 8 of this year. This will later be followed by the release of the project’s third installment, presumably dubbed Vultures 3, on April 5. What do you think of Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s Vultures 1 listening parties bringing in an estimated total of over $12 million? Are you surprised? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Kanye West Comments On Label Contracts Resurface After “Vultures 1” Success Independently

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s collab album Vultures did not come out in collaboration with a record label, and that means the artists earned a whole lot more cash than usual. Moreover, Billboard recently released a report on their estimated earnings from this release method, only partnering with distributor Label Engine to put the record out commercially. After its No. 1 debut on the Billlboard 200 chart, we can assume that they netted a lot of money from not having to split this with a label. As such, the outlet believes that they took home about $986,000 from this supposed series’ first installment.

Furthermore, this made them look back at Ye’s previous 2020 comments on label contracts. He advocated for artists to earn at least 80% of their music’s profits and full ownership of their copyright that they can lease out to labels and publishers for a limited time. Label Engine, Vultures‘ distributor, indicates that clients get 82.5% of revenue, something that Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign have plenty of leverage to raise in their favor. But the outlet thinks that this number (under the assumption that 5% of earnings went to the distributor) goes up when considering global streams and publishing.

Kanye West Performing At Coachella 2019

Of course, these numbers hinge on streaming success and some additional sales for a slight boost. This situation is a big change from Kanye West’s old contracts, such as his 14% royalty rate for The College Dropout. In earlier contracts, he would’ve had to reach this commercial success seven times over to reach the same amount of profits Vultures netted. Sure, this is also only possible for someone of the Chicago rapper’s magnitude, plus Ty Dolla’s own success and that of their featured guests. As such, this is independent in the technical sense of the term; Ye is no indie darling on the industry hustle.

Also, we must consider all the money behind promotional, budgetary, and marketing benefits that partnering with labels provided in the past. Given the Yeezy creative’s antisemitic behavior, this extra push that his albums had to become mainstream cultural benchmarks isn’t there anymore. But add onto this clothing sales, and there’s been a lot of revenue to collect around Vultures, for better or worse. For more news and the latest updates on Kanye West, Ty Dolla Sign, and Vultures, come back to HNHH.

Usher Made Just $671 At The Super Bowl, But There Is A Catch

Over the weekend, Usher took to one of the biggest stages in all of music. He stepped up to perform during this year’s Super Bowl Halftime show. He delivered most of his biggest hits with an impressive array of guests for the performance. As is often the case with Halftime shows it was a MAJOR undertaking featuring dozens and dozens of performers and dancers in addition to an impressive level of spectacle in the stage design itself. But apparently so much of the budget was spent on other things that there wasn’t much left for the singer at the center of it all.

According to new reports, Usher was paid just $671 for his performance. It’s a far cry from the kinds of paydays he’s likely used to pulling in from his performances. But as you’d expect, there’s a catch. Performing on one of the largest possible stages comes with its own kind of benefits. A different new report emerged after the Super Bowl, citing it as the most-watched big game ever. As a result, Usher is expected to rake in more than $100 million between increased streams of his music, tickets to his upcoming tour, and endorsements stemming from the performance.

Usher’s Halftime Show Earnings

A lot of the money he’s expected to make will come from increased streams of some of the classic hits he performed. It’s not uncommon to see artists experience a massive bump in streams following major televised performances. Just this week decades-old tracks from Tracy Chapman and Billy Joel returned to the Hot 100 following their performances at the Grammys.

But some of his streams will come from his new album Coming Home. In conjunction with his Super Bowl performance Usher also dropped his first new studio album since 2016. The project was led off by his biggest hit single in years “Good Good” with Summer Walker and 21 Savage. What do you think of Usher earning less than $700 total for his Super Bowl Halftime Show performance? What did you think of the performance itself? Let us know in the comment section below.

Kanye West Reveals Yeezy Earnings Following DIY Super Bowl Ad

Kanye West is having a huge weekend for many reasons. Firstly, he just dropped off his new album Vultures. Overall, this is a project that fans have been waiting on for a long time. However, he finally delivered 16 tracks alongside Ty Dolla $ign. Now, fans are digesting the music and giving it some love. There are also those out there who dislike the project and think it is entirely too dull to care about. That said, Ye seems to be streaming well right now, and in his mind, that is all that matters.

Secondly, he dropped a Yeezy ad during the Super Bowl. As we reported, it was a pretty basic ad as far as the Super Bowl is concerned. It last all of 30 seconds and it consisted of Ye speaking into his phone in the back of a car. However, it seems like the commercial had its intended effect. In the Instagram post below, Ye posted about his end-of-day sales on the Yeezy.com website. He had just under 295K orders and made a whopping $19 million. Moreover, Vultures found itself as the number one streamed album in 100 countries.

Kanye West Is Winning

These are all huge numbers for Ye, who has certainly polarized everyone over the past couple of years or so. Overall, his controversies have been extremely difficult to watch. He has said hurtful things and has undone a lot of good faith. It’s hard to believe he has earned any of that good faith back. That said, he has a cult-like fanbase who will do anything he says, buy anything he promotes, and listen to anything he creates. These fans don’t really believe in anything, except for Kanye himself.

Let us know what you think of Vultures, in the comments section below. Additionally, tell us your thoughts on his shoes. Stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will continue to keep you informed on all of your favorite artists and their upcoming projects.

Yung Miami Reveals Massive Monthly Earnings From “Caresha Please” Brand

Yung Miami revealed on Twitter in a since-deleted post, earlier this week, that she’s already brought in $1 million from her Caresha Please brand just this month. “I guess this is what failing in life look like,” she captioned a screenshot of the earnings. The image appears to stem from Shopify, on which she sells her popular drinking game, Resha Roulette, and other merchandise.

When The Jasmine Brand shared the deleted post on Instagram, fans weren’t thrilled. One user wrote: “Wassup with this trend of celebs showing ppl that are struggling to survive, eat and have shelte…. nvm Chile.” Another wrote: “Meanwhile healthcare workers and educators struggling to pay rent.”

In addition to the financial side, Miami’s Caresha Please podcast won the 2023 BET Hip-Hop Award for Best Hip-Hop Platform. That ended up being a controversial result, with not only fans, but many voices in hip-hop media calling it undeserved. Charlamagne The God of The Breakfast Club voiced his frustration with the decision. “We gotta stop,” he said at the time. “I love Caresha, I love Yung Miami to death, but come on now. Two years in a row? Like, I got mad love for Caresha but you’ve got platforms that come out daily, and you’ve got platforms that come out weekly.” Check out her earnings post below.

Chrisean Rock Claims Snapchat Earns Her Close To $1 Million Every Week

Chrisean Rock is back online, folks, and she made many online users do a double take when they saw she accompanied her on-and-off-again flame Blueface to turn himself in, apparently for probation violations. What’s more is that she even took their son Chrisean Jr. with them. Amid this apparent reconciliation which fans are worried about, the former Baddies star is making more wild claims about her life, success, and day-to-day. During her recent Instagram livestream over this past weekend, she claimed that she makes almost a million dollars a week off her Snapchat page alone, which her team also helps to manage.

“I make like roughly $22,000/$23,000 every four, five hours on Snapchat,” Chrisean Rock posited. “That’s why you see all the celebrities back on Snapchat because they been paying us to get back on there. I guess Snapchat trying to not go out of business.” Furthermore, the math suggests that she could make between anywhere between $735,000 and $966,000 every week, almost $4 million a month, and roughly $40 million a year. Of course, a lot of fans called cap on this, especially given the Baltimore native’s questionable financial claims in the past.

Chrisean Rock Claims Snapchat Will Make Her Millions A Year: Watch

However, despite all this, she still took some time to comment on what she believes is unfair pay for Black female reality stars. “I’ve already made it clear, I’m not going back to Baddies,” Chrisean Rock shared, seemingly during the very same IG Live session. “I was going to, but I’m starting to stick to if somebody not paying me my value or if you don’t want to pay the fee for me to pull up, that’s cool, I’m not pulling up. I hate that for us young Black women. We not really getting valued in this industry.”

Meanwhile, perhaps Chrisean will find more wild success within the music industry and find another huge source of revenue. After all, she already released tracks, and recently remixed Sexyy Red’s “Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Dad).” We wonder what could’ve compelled Rock to write that verse… Jokes aside, keep checking in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Chrisean Rock.

Tony Yayo Shares Earnings From 50 Cent’s “Final Lap Tour” & Announces Podcast Plans

Tony Yayo says that 50 Cent’s Final Lap Tour was a “movie” he made “six figures” as a support act for the run of concerts. Speaking with VladTV, the G-Unit rapper explained how lucrative the tour was as well as his plans for getting into podcasting. The topic began with Yayo discussing his decision not to sell merch on the tour despite 50 making millions in that lane alone.

“His merch is in the millions. He’s an icon,” he said. “You can ask anyone — the people that ran the tour from Live Nation — they’ll tell you, ‘Your favorite rapper can’t do what 50 just did.’” From there, he explained: “I don’t ask for too much. I’m making six figures, so why would I bother you for more? It’s cool. I’m not worried about that. Trust me, I’m making a great check […] The money is great, the money is excellent.”

YNW Melly’s Mother Reveals Her First Day OnlyFans Earnings

YNW Melly has been in the public eye for years now as he’s been at the center of one of the biggest court cases in all of rap music. Earlier this year his first trial finally came to an end, only to be declared a mistrial. Now he continues to await a second trial as he approaches five full years behind bars without being convicted of a crime. As his court proceedings have unfolded in the public eye for years some of the recurring cast have become pretty recognizable to rap fans.

One of those recognizable figures is Melly’s own mother. She hasn’t been shy about speaking on the case publicly. Occasionally she’s been one of the only sources available to provide key details and insight into the case. Now Melly’s mother, Jamie King, is using that attention to head off on a different venture. She recently started an OnlyFans account and the attention started coming in very quickly once she did. King revealed in a recent interview that she generated $40k in income across just her first 24 hours on the platform. Check out the full interview clip below.

YNW Melly’s Mom Shares OnlyFans Earnings

The most recent news for Melly’s upcoming second trial came out just a few days ago. It was originally scheduled to get underway in February, but was delayed a few weeks. Just selection for the trial is already under way for the retrial. Opening statements are expected to begin on March 5, more than 5 and-a-half years since Melly was originally arrested in 2018. The retrial has been delayed repeatedly since it was originally set to get underway back in October.

Melly also scored a minor pretrial victory in court last week. The judge ruled in favor of the defense in a handful of motions to restrict evidence. Some of the evidence being restricted includes text massages sent from around the time of the alleged murders.
