Gunna Vs. R. Kelly: Twitter Debates After Atlanta Nightclub Video

Social media has been buzzing with Gunna versus R. Kelly debates. This comes after a video emerged showing an Atlanta nightclub coming to a halt when Gunna’s new song was played. Fans took to Twitter to express their thoughts, questioning why the rapper was being ostracized. They pointed out that people still listened to and defended R. However, there were others who defended R. Kelly and were disgusted by the comparison between Gunna and the disgraced R&B singer. They argued that Gunna being labeled a snitch was different from R. Kelly’s alleged predatory behavior towards women. R. Kelly has been behind bars since June 2022 and was convicted in a federal sexual assault case. He received a 20-year sentence. Gunna, on the other hand, was released from jail in December. The rapper pleaded guilty to a racketeering conspiracy charge as part of the YSL indictment.

Gunna’s recent release from incarceration might have been good for him on a personal level. However, it certainly hasn’t shielded him from intense scrutiny. In fact, he’s currently facing heightened criticism. This stems primarily from his alleged betrayal by snitching on Young Thug. Of course, he vehemently denies these allegations, even after accepting a plea deal in the trial. Numerous former friends and collaborators have distanced themselves from Gunna. Boosie Badazz even said that he wouldn’t entertain a collaboration with the artist. Apparently, he wouldn’t do it even for a staggering sum of $1 billion.

Moreover, Lil Gotit recently took to Instagram to vent his frustrations about Gunna. He boldly declared that it’s the end for the 29-year-old rapper. These sentiments seem to align with a video that has gone viral on Twitter. The video, which is linked above, showcases an Atlanta nightclub coming to a screeching halt when Gunna’s verse in 21 Savage’s track “Can’t Leave Without It” is played. YG Shocked It Took So Long For Tupac To Get A Hollywood Star

YG took to social media to share his opinion on Tupac receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame just recently. He thinks it’s messed up that the iconic rapper hadn’t been honored at the landmark up until now, and he’s not the only one. Several other social media users flocked to the comments section to agree with him. “It took them 25 years + to give Tupac a star on Hollywood Blvd?” YG asked. He then claimed, “Y’all got him f****ed all the way up.” “I completely agree!” one user wrote, adding, “Should have given him one a long time ago.” Another agrees, “mf the biggest star to come outta rap other than snoop, jay, & em from that era.”

Another artist, Boosie Badazz, also shared his thoughts about the star on Twitter. “Tupac ain’t ON THE HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME?” he wrote, “WTF THE DISRESPECT.” He also said, in typical Boosie fashion, “Don’t worry he saying F**K YALL from the Grave.”

Tupac’s Hollywood Star

It was recently announced that Tupac will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame sometime next week. Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame spoke to LA Times about the star. “Tupac Shakur was a rapper, actor, activist, poet, and revolutionary,” Martinez stated. She also went on to explain, “This iconic artist has continued to be part of the zeitgeist for decades after his passing and will continue to be an important cultural figure for many years to come. Surely, as one of L.A.’s own, Tupac’s star will be added to the list of most visited stars.”

Tupac’s star will be located at 6212 Hollywood Boulevard, alongside Big Boy, Missy Elliott, Cedric The Entertainer, Nipsey Hussle, DJ Khaled, Taraji P. Henson, Avril Lavigne, Jean Negulesco, and Jack Paar. The late rapper’s sister, Sekyiwa “Set” Shakur, will officially accept the star. Big Boy is set to host the ceremony, and Tupac’s godfather, Jamal Joseph, is also set to speak at the event.

The rapper continues to align himself against 6ix9ine, but surprisingly, he has some positive words for the controversial rapper. Boosie has expressed his willingness to donate money to GoFundMe campaigns that were set up to help cover the legal expenses of the individuals who attacked 6ix9ine. It is worth noting that the rapper frequently refers to 6ix9ine as a “rat” and has been critical of him in the past. During an interview with DJ Vlad released on June 2, DJ Vlad informed Boosie about the existence of crowdfunding pages for the attackers, suggesting that he could contribute to them. To everyone’s surprise, Boosie responded with affirmation, stating, “I will, I will.” When pressed further, he elaborated on his perspective.

Boosie believes that the attackers serve an important role in holding accountable those who betray others and cause harm to families. Boosie Badazz is once again siding against 6ix9ine. However, he has some surprisingly kind words for him. The rapper has expressed his willingness to donate money to GoFundMe campaigns created to help cover the legal expenses of the individuals who attacked 6ix9ine. As many may know, Boosie frequently criticizes him as a “rat.” In an interview with DJ Vlad released on June 2, Vlad revealed that there were crowdfunding pages set up for the attackers. He told Boosie this in case he wanted to contribute. Unsurprisingly, Boosie responded affirmatively, stating, “I will, I will.” When pressed further, the rapper explained his perspective on the matter.

According to Boosie, he believes that the world needs more people like the attackers. He says they hold accountable those who betray others and cause harm to families. He expressed concern about the impact that “rats” have on people’s lives. “[They’re] taking fathers and mothers away from their children. You know, there’s got to be some kind of consequence,” Boosie said. “But, like I said: I like how 6ix9ine took it, bro. I ain’t lying. I like how he manned it out.”

Boosie: “Snitches Get Stitches”

This is not the first time Boosie has shown support for the attackers. It started back in March, when footage of 6ix9ine’s gym attack surfaced on social media. At that point, Boosie actually offered to set up the GoFundMe campaign for the attackers. He took to Twitter to sound off on the matter. “Lmao SNITCHES GET STITCHES LET’S START A GO FUND FOR THIS GUY,” the rapper wrote. “WE NEED TO START A GO FUND FOR THIS GUY LIKE COOKIE MONEY SAY WE GOTTA START REWARDING THE REAL ONES.”

In the incident that occurred in March, 6ix9ine was assaulted by a group of men inside a sauna at an LA Fitness in South Florida. The rapper attempted to fight back but was outnumbered and suffered severe beatings before managing to escape. He did not have any security with him at the time. The attack was captured in a video that circulated on Instagram, showing 6ix9ine on the floor, protecting his head, while two men continuously kicked and punched him. In case you missed it, Desiigner is facing charges after exposing himself on an airplane. The rapper has been charged with indecent exposure after pulling out his penis and masturbating in first class on a Delta Airlines flight.

According to TMZ, legal docs state Desiigner would not stop masturbating despite repeated asks from flight attendants. He was eventually moved to the back of the plane and was cared for by two friends. When Desiigner stood up, a jar of Vaseline dropped into the aisle.

But Desiigner had an explanation for himself. Once he was with authorities in Minnesota, the rapper said he “didn’t really get much…cootie” during his Japan visit and was “brick hard” during his flight. In addition, Desiigner also said a flight attendant turned him on, and by flashing her, he thought it would provide “encouragement.”

Boosie Badazz Comments On Pras Being An Informant

San Diego police took rapper Boosie Badazz into custody over the weekend and charged him with four gun-related offenses. Boosie was reportedly filming a music video with local rapper Bully Three. The two had previously collaborated on a song titled “How You Wanna Play It?”. After being released on bond, Boosie performed in San Diego and told fans to chant “f*ck San Diego police.” He then proceeded to shout into the microphone, “Suck my d*ck, you b*tches.”

This isn’t the first time Boosie has had a run-in with the law. Last year, he was pulled over for window tints and a concealed tag. A search of his car yielded a large bag of weed. Boosie expressed frustration with the police officers, saying, “I can’t keep going through this though, bro… I just can’t, bro… It’s harassment. It’s every day. I moved to the country to fucking live, bro. I did six years on my back.” However, at least Boosie can be thankful he hasn’t gotten into nearly as much trouble as Pras Michel has.

In a new segment from his extended interview with VladTV, Boosie Badazz was asked about Pras Michel of The Fugees. The MC was just ruled guilty in a number of extremely serious conspiracy charges. The biggest allegation against Pras is that he is a government informant. Boosie wasn’t fully aware of the case, but he had some things to say about rats in the industry. “It’s a worldwide movement, bro. The music industry is full of [rats]. There are more rats in the music industry than in the streets,” Boosie said. “I think they don’t wanna lose. You know? They don’t wanna lose this lifestyle. That’s why they develop into rats.”

Luckily for Boosie, life seems to be taking a turn for the more positive recently. His arrest this past weekend aside, he recently announced that he was cancer-free. Boosie Badazz can’t seem to stop talking to VladTV. In yet another interview clip with the outlet, the rapper revealed some pretty personal information. Boosie has confessed to joining the solo mile-high club. He admitted some of his previous sexual encounters while also discussing Desiigner’s recent arrest. Authorities took the rapper into custody for allegedly exposing himself on a plane. During the interview with VladTV, Boosie learned about the accusation that Desiigner had masturbated during a recent flight. He asked if Desiigner and the flight attendant had engaged in any sexual activity, but was informed that they hadn’t. Boosie then commented that it was fortunate Desiigner had checked himself into a mental institution.

He was booked on four charges, all gun-related. These include possession of a firearm as a felon, having a concealed weapon in a vehicle, owning ammunition as a prohibited person, and being an unlisted owner of a registered firearm. After being released on bond, Boosie performed in San Diego and encouraged fans to chant “f*ck San Diego police,” which was captured in a video of the crowd showing their middle fingers. Then, the rapper yelled into the mic, “Suck my d*ck, you b*tches.”

As previously reported, Boosie Badazz was arrested over the weekend for an illegal weapons possession charge in San Diego, but the Baton Rouge rapper took time out of his set during an appearance at a San Diego club to address his arrest.

During his appearance at a San Diego nightclub, the rapper told the crowd to say, “F**k San Diego Police!”, to which they energetically followed suit. Boosie then followed up, saying, “B***hes. Suck my d**k you b***hes.” 

Boosie has been charged with possession of a firearm, but has not yet commented on the circumstances surrounding his arrest. TheSource.com will update this story as details develop.
