Drake To Celebrate Birthday By Giving Away Dave’s Hot Chicken

Drake is having a great time right now. His tour just ended and his album just came out, as well. Overall, For All The Dogs has been a massive commercial success. Critically, it has proven to be a bit polarizing. However, he is marching forward with some big streaming numbers. In fact, he is now tied with Michael Jackson for most number-one songs. This is a massive accomplishment, and fans continue to be amazed by what he has done. Now, however, he is on a hiatus.

The real Drake stans out there know that he is celebrating his birthday, very soon. On October 24th, Drizzy will be turning 37 years old. It is almost hard to fathom that the artist is in his middle age right now. In three years, he will be 40 years old, which puts him close to legacy act status. That said, it seems like the artist wants to do something cool for his birthday. According to HipHop-N-More, he will be giving away free food at Dave’s Hot Chicken.

On October 24th, all you need to do is go to a Dave’s Hot Chicken location and scan your app. You can either get a slider or a tender for your troubles, and they will spice it to your desire. You can see which stores will be doing this, here. “After completing his It’s All a Blur tour and releasing his new album, For All the Dogs, Drake is once again celebrating his birthday with everyone at Dave’s Hot Chicken and our guests across the globe,” Dave’s Hot Chicken’s CEO Bill Phelps said. “He’s our most famous investor and the fact that he wants to give something back to fans by letting everyone try Dave’s Hot Chicken on him, that says it all.”

50 Cent and Eminem’s close friendship is well-documented up until this point. Both have co-signed each other, featured on each other’s songs, and performed live in front of millions of people. The New York legend wanted to send his love and appreciation to his brother. He wanted to do this by posting to his Instagram and he dug into the vault for some of these photos. Others are a little more recent, with the last one featuring the two of them and Dr. Dre. It is a picture of them celebrating 50 getting his Hollywood Star for the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

A few of them look to be from live performances, most likely from 50’s Final Lap tour. Lastly, there are a few more from the early 2000s right around the time Cent was blowing up. It is a nice collage of images and it really shows how long this camaraderie has lasted up until this point.

According to HipHopDX, he posted this same collage on his Twitter as well. 50 writes a loving message to Em. Yung Miami’s daughter, Summer Miami, is officially another year older, and the City Girl made sure to go all out with her co-parent Southside to make the little one feel special.

“Happy 4th Birthday to my life-sized Barbie,” the podcaster captioned her commemorative Instagram post. “I love you so much my little superstar .” Just as much a beauty queen as her mother, Summer showed off her modelling skills in Caresha’s cute video, sporting clip-on Chanel earrings while posing in a doll box filled with adorable pink outfits and designer bags. On her Story, the “Act Bad” artist happily filmed her daughter lounging in the pool and smiling with her Minnie Mouse balloon.

When it was Southside’s turn to share his love for Summer, the producer penned a sweet message. “Happy birthday my beautiful daughter. I love [you] so much, I don’t care what’s going [on] you have the power to brighten my day. I love you Summer, [today] is your day,” the proud father declared.

Being able to spend Summer’s fourth birthday together was probably a huge stress relief for Yung Miami amid the backlash she’s facing from this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards. George Floyd Mourned By Social Media On What Would’ve Been His 50th Birthday

Many voices on social media have been coming forward to reflect on the impact of George Floyd on what would’ve been his 50th birthday, Saturday. When The Shade Room shared an inspirational clip from Floyd about working out, fans mourned the man whose death at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer sparked worldwide protests in 2020.

“I literally started tearing up because when he said he loved the world. It’s the reality the lack of the love the world has sometimes… killed this man. He was a gift,” one user commented. Another wrote: “Happy heavenly birthday my Libra brother [heart emoji] we carried your name. Thank you for bringing us together like that. Libra is Gods right hand man.”

Supporters on social media aren’t the only ones who addressed Floyd’s birthday on Saturday. Speaking with PEOPLE, his sister, LaTonya, admitted that she’s going to “cry all day.” “He should’ve been here. He was just a soul full of joy. I remember me telling him, ‘Boy, you getting on up there,’ she told the outlet. “I remember him saying, ‘I’m still in my 40s. I’m still a kid.’ And he was like, ‘I can still kick it.’ I thought he would be alive to see it. I thought he’d live to be 100.”

Additionally, The White House released a statement from President Joe Biden reflecting on Floyd’s death. Biden described his death as a “tragedy and injustice” and noted that it sparked “one of the largest civil rights movements in our nation’s history.” He concluded: “George Floyd’s memory reminds us that there is more work to do to redeem the soul of America. Let us recommit to changing hearts and minds while enacting policies and laws that ensure our nation lives up to its founding idea: that we’re all created equal and deserve to be treated equally throughout our lives.”

Offset’s Gifts To Cardi B Blasted By PETA

Cardi B and Offset recently had a pretty lavish and fun dual celebration on Thursday (October 12) that ruffled a few feathers in the animal rights world. Moreover, while the former celebrated her 31st birthday, which was the day before, whereas the latter held a joint release party for his brand new album, Set It Off. Of course, the two showed each other a lot of appreciation for these milestones, and for always supporting them on their individual and unitary journeys. However, what really set PETA off were the three crocodile Birkin bags that the former Migo gave the Bronx MC. Given how much she liked them, we doubt that this will result in the bags being put in the trash.

“Instead of using his wealth and influence for good, Offset chose to funnel hundreds of thousands of dollars into a gruesome, violent industry,” PETA Vice President Lisa Lange remarked.
