LeBron James Seemingly Responds To Drake Beef Speculation

Throughout Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s beef dozens of celebrities were reacting to the songs that came from it. Any time they were vibing to each artist’s disse, the fanbase of that rapper would claim them as their own. To be honest, all of that was a big stretch. Maybe that certain person just enjoys the song for what it is and not for who its dissing. However, there have been some cases where the opposite is true, too. As for the reaches, LeBron James was essentially shunned from Drake’s fanbase due to him supporting Lamar’s tracks and The Pop Out. Because of this, some people were actually running with the idea that James had been favoring the Compton kid.

Joe Budden was one of the ones entertaining it, doing so on his self-titled podcast. What got him intrigued in this “passive-aggressive LeBron-Drake beef” was the fact that the Canadian rapper was congratulating the Olympic athletes, but not James. “I know nobody is paying too much attention to it, but it is a real thing. It’s happening”, Budden urged. “Savannah might just really love that shirt, and I don’t speak about people’s wives, but she might just really love that shirt, brand, and Kendrick, and ain’t paying what y’all doing no mind. Maybe, maybe. But LeBron posing in the picture the way he did with her in the shirt tells me that he saw the Drake post… “They’ve been going back and forth since this ‘Not Like Us’ s***.’ And it’s interesting to me”.

However, that all seems to be over with. LeBron has supposedly been listening to the chatter around his “fractured” relationship with The Boy and decided to post a pic on his IG Story. That photo is of Drake’s Air Force 1 collaborative sneaker that reads “Love you forever” on the midsole. The NBA vet then put the “” emoji underneath, symbolizing that their ties will never be broken. Of course, Drake’s stans got a hold of this on X and are calling him a “team switcher”.

Cam’ron & Ma$e Rip J Prince Apart Amid Shakur Stevenson Beef

There is a new installment in the Cam’ron & Ma$e versus Shakur Stevenson beef, as the latter’s manager, J Prince, fires back. If you pay attention to the boxing world, you know that the young and speedy fighter has been trading words with the It Is What It Is panel. This heated debate’s origins trace back to last weekend after the still undefeated lightweight boxer defended his title against the underdog, Artem Harutyunyan. Stevenson went on to win by judge’s decision after showing off his incredible defense and tactical approach. However, a lot of viewers of the violent sport are not too keen on his style, including Ma$e and Cam’ron.

Ma$e started things after saying that he does not want to see Stevenson fight anyone ever again during the segment on their show. It got around to the WBC athlete, and that kicked off the beef. As we mentioned, it is still going, as J Prince is now getting involved, according to AllHipHop. If you are wondering why a musical artist manager is speaking on a boxer’s behalf, it is because Stevenson has been a client of his since late 2016. Prince clapped back at the podcast duo by sharing that his last match was the most watched boxing event of the year.

B.G. Suggests No One Will Miss Turk If He Doesn’t Reunite With Hot Boys

The ESSENCE Festival saw Birdman try and form a reunion with Cash Money, specifically the Hot Boys group. Unfortunately, it did not work out in his favor. Lil Wayne, perhaps the biggest star of them all, performed alone at the New Orleans event. It seems that Weezy was fine with linking back up with his crew, but who really knows at this point. Another conflict includes B.G. and Turk. These two have been going back and forth online since the failed reuniting. Even though they all did not rock the stage together, every other Hot Boys crew mate was in attendance. Turk was the only one not to show, as he cited “business” issues were the root cause.

The excuse is pretty flaccid, as Turk seems okay with not rejoining the group. He made these feelings clear while clapping back at B.G. for dissing his absence at ESSENCE. “I’ll say f*** a Hot Boys tour, n****. Disrespect won’t be tolerated, n****. I don’t give a f*** who a n**** is. Ain’t no Big I’s or Lil U’s over me, mane. B.G. better sit his motherf***ing a** down somewhere, man. That is partially because these two leading ladies are still butting heads. Each femcee has taken their respective shots via social media and the booth over these last several months. That animosity was on further display during the 2024 BET Awards last night (June 30), as Latto and Ice Spice were dragging each other for their performances. Asian Doll Bombarded With Hate After Rehashing Beef With Foolio After His Untimely Passing

The Florida hip-hop circle and the community at large lost another rapper too soon this past weekend. Foolio became the fatal victim during an “ambush” shooting at a Tampa Holiday Inn, leaving three additional people with injuries. He was celebrating his 26th birthday and it appeared to be a pretty publicly known event, as the MC was making his location quite available online. Lewis Fusco, his lawyer tragically confirmed the news via Instagram and to local news stations in Jacksonville. With so little information about Foolio’s involvement, as well as how sensitive things are right now, Mr. Fusco advised everyone to give his loved ones some space. “We will not be making any additional statements until further notice. “Please respect his family during this difficult time. Rest in peace @julio_foolio”.

Well, that wish is not being respected by fellow rapper from Dallas, Texas, Asian Doll. Prior to Foolio’s, death, him and Doll were beefing, especially around 2021-2022. The former’s presence on social media was one of instigation, and he seemed to start things with the TV star in ’21. Foolio shared a short video around this time in which he said, “Real s***. If somethin’ ever happen to me, bro, don’t be an Asian Doll. If you know what we was on and we didn’t talk like that, don’t be extra. For real. Don’t be on that Asian”. He made that statement after she was grieving the loss of her then boyfriend, King Von. A lot of people online thought Asian Doll was being too dramatic, and Foolio was in that camp, too.

The BMF (Black Mafia Family) co-founder crossed enemy lines over Father’s Day weekend, as he met up with Kenneth McGriff Jr., who is the son of Kenneth McGriff Sr. (aka Supreme). The former drove “nine hours” to see Southwest T and gift him some apparel. For context, the latter had allegedly try to organize the murder of 50 Cent back in the early 2000s when he got hit nine times. The G-Unit mastermind caught wind of this link-up due to a commenter on Instagram sharing similar disdain for Southwest T’s switch-up.

So, as 50 Cent normally does, he hopped on his keyboard and sent a pretty hilarious but threatening message to T, according to AllHipHop. “Hey I know T feel like he is not making the money @lilmeechbmf is making but I thought they would all be happy for him”, he begins. “It’s not like I didn’t help your family make millions. As of recent, we now have an answer, and it might bother the people who need to take sides in everything.

According to HipHopDX, the Doggystyle creator was asked by Entertainment Tonight what this beef meant to him, especially after witnessing some of the most legendary bloodbaths. However, Snoop Dogg shared a fairly rare and positive take about it all. “Well, the only thing I want to say about that whole scenario is that I want to give both of them a shout out for raising the bar as far as lyrics, as far as song-making and writing because the writing has been upped since the confrontation.”

Soulja Boy Continues Disrespect Of Metro Boomin & His Deceased Mother, Claps Back At 21 Savage

Metro Boomin has been dealing with a lot of backlash on the internet over the last few months in particular. He has to deal with some criticism over taking Kendrick Lamar’s side during the Drake saga. Internet users were telling him to shut up and stick to beats. On top of that, he was ripped to shreds –perhaps more justifiably in this case — for some old tweets about getting with younger women. He received the Metro Groomin title, and it was a trend on the platform for several days. Now, Metro Boomin has been having to deal with Soulja Boy coming at him over a 2012 tweet. “My phone rings to come to the studio with Jeezy. Yours rings to send Soulja Boy a pack of beats. Sit down.”

It gotten under Soulja’s skin so much that he demanded that Metro delete the message off X in the next 24 hours. If not, he would deal with some sort of consequence. 21 Savage has been jumping in to defend his close collaborator during this new beef and it’s turned quite distasteful since yesterday, May 12. That date happened to be Mother’s Day, so Soulja pulled out the big guns by reminding Metro of his late mother. “F*** that n**** mama!!!!!!!!!! Don’t speak on my name b****! You sacrificed your own mom @MetroBoomin you a puppet. All the streams, sales, money, and fame not gone bring your mom back @MetroBoomin was it worth it?” Soulja asked. “I can say f*** this money and fame s*** and still be a boss can you?”

Sukihana Gets Real Graphic As She Fires Back At JT With “COCAINE” Diss Track

There was belief that it was either a shot at Cardi B, or Delaware’s Sukihana. It turns it was not a diss at either artist, as JT recently cleared up the speculation. However, it was not handled in the way that you might think. “Sukihana You KNEW I wasn’t talking about YOU I would’ve answered quicker if you didn’t try to do a 2 for 1 special,” JT wrote on X on May 3. “I never knew your tooth fell out from eating crab legs you go viral for stupid s*** Daily.”

The posts got more severe, as JT was really upset at Sukihana for not reaching out to her directly to clear the air. The City Girls running mate also was of the belief that Suki was handling it in this way so she could get some attention. In her final message, JT laid down the hammer. “Search my page I been supporting you never had an issue with you so why would I enter a booth & think of YOU? sewer p**sy???!” That last blow might have set Sukihana over the edge, as now she is taking direct shots at her new foe on “COCAINE.”

ScHoolboy Q Allegedly Warned J Cole To Stop Beefing Further With Kendrick Lamar Before The Apology

When J Cole gracefully removed himself from the Kendrick Lamar and Drake war, people online and in the hip-hop sphere were tearing him down. So many were disappointed that the “7 Minute Drill” rapper would bow out from the competition, especially given his pen. However, since he dropped the diss that was, frankly, half-hearted, the battlefield has become extremely bloody. He even admitted that himself, and since most fans knew that Cole was always more of a lover and not a fighter, the narrative has switched. Now, spectators have become more understanding and giving him grace online.

However, a new and interesting angle has been making the rounds on the web that someone in the know actually influenced Cole to remove himself from the beef. According to articles from Bossip and AllHipHop, TDE teammate ScHoolboy Q was supposedly the one who helped convince him. A writer witnessed the BLUE LIPS and Might Delete Later MCs chatting at Dreamville Fest. Unfortunately, she was not able to make out what exactly was said, but sources informed her that some sort of warning was passed from Q to Cole.
