Lil Yachty Podcast’s Fate Revealed By Co-Host Mitch After Falling Out

Lil Yachty had some very complicated ups-and-downs with some of his friends in 2024, resulting in the loss of one of his extracurricular media ventures. For those unaware, he and his friend and A Safe Place podcast cohost Mitch had a falling out after their Key Glock episode, during which they argued about how much the latter owes the former for his success. It wasn’t a very pretty look, and resulted in their podcast being axed. Now, Mitch has responded to a fan who asked him on Twitter to bring the program back. Sadly, for any fans of A Safe Place out there, this looks like an unlikely possibility.

“ngl i think bro rolling up that podcast in a backwood as we speak [skull emoji],” Mitch revealed, quelling hope for a reconciliation of sorts with Lil Yachty and their show. Overall, no matter whose side you fall on concerning this debate, this is a pretty sad development to witness. That’s not only due to the nature of their friendship, but also because they often engaged in entertaining and sometimes compelling conversations with many rappers and famous friends.

Mitch Says Lil Yachty Podcast Isn’t Coming Back

However, Lil Yachty’s larger issue is with his former Concrete Boys teammate KARRAHBOOO, who left the group due to still unclear reasons. She says that the group bullied her, whereas Yachty claimed that she was actually very disrespectful and coasted off of others’ creativity, mostly his own. Like with the Mitch situation, it’s clear that there are a lot of behind-the-scenes considerations that we as a general public don’t have access to. As such, everyone is still relatively in the dark over all this.

Meanwhile, a new Lil Uzi Vert song leak contains what many interpreted as a diss against Lil Yachty. “N***as, they put my swag in they notes / I was on a yacht in the goddamn snow / B***h, I’m Lil Uzi, I’m not Lil Boat,” they rap on the cut. Still, they had both previously downplayed rumors of animosity between them, so this isn’t necessarily a shot. Unfortunately, no such clarification has emerged when it comes to Mitch, so we’ll see what the future holds.

Adin Ross Walks Back Los Angeles Beef After Receiving Threats From Kendrick Lamar Affiliates

It looks like Adin Ross got some pretty important phone calls. He recently expressed online that he would like to extend an apology to Los Angeles for beefing with some of Kendrick Lamar’s affiliates and disrespecting the city in many’s eyes. For those unaware, the streamer lashed back against K.Dot’s supposed friends that threatened him, saying that they would press him if they ever saw him in their city. A lot of folks reacted in ridiculous fashion, but many of them also expressed fear that things could actually turn violent. Fortunately, it seems like we’re at a cool-down point now, although Ross made it clear that his apologetic remarks are to the city, not to the individuals that he beefed with.

“Guys, I’ve been talking to people from L.A.,” Adin Ross began. “I’m actually coming to L.A. in about probably, like, a couple of weeks. Don’t put ‘GGs’ in the chat. Probably coming in a couple of weeks. Going to probably do some Horror Nights streams, going to go around, do a couple of podcasts, stuff like that. But I do want to clarify and take a step back. In the moment, obviously, I was talking crazy and s**t. I’m not necessarily apologizing to people I was talking towards. But I do want to say one thing: L.A. is to not be f***ed with. L.A. is a serious place, and I love L.A. Seriously, I love L.A. Now, I’m not folding. I still say ‘F**k you’ to the people that were coming at me. F**k you.

Adin Ross Apologizes To L.A., But Not His Enemies

“But I’m not saying ‘F**k you’ to all of L.A.,” Adin Ross continued. “‘Cause, I’m not even joking, bro. People that are in a certain amount of groups, rappers – specifically the rapper you guys know I’m talking about. You guys like to pedestal a bunch of these rappers. Bro, L.A. is deeper than that, bro. There’s a lot of dangerous people in L.A. that don’t even talk on the Internet. They don’t even care about the Internet. People don’t talk on the Internet. So I’m never trying to disrespect L.A. I love L.A., bro, I love L.A. Probably the best – I love California, bro. The weather is the best there, you know? I love Los Angeles. The issue is – and I don’t live there anymore. I’m not folding, I’m really not.

“It’s still ‘F**k you’ to the people that I was talking to,” Adin Ross concluded. “The problem was that I was saying that I’m going to go there, and L.A. not on s**t. L.A. is on s**t, for real. I don’t want anyone taking me serious. I’m a f***ing nerdy white streamer kid, alright? So, none of you guys take me seriously, please. Now, it’s still ‘F**k you’ to the people that were still coming at me on that podcast. F**k you, ’cause you guys aren’t on s**t. I did the whole background research on all you guys. You guys are fat, low-life losers. Big b***hes. I’m not folding for s**t, bro. Now, as far as L.A. goes, I love and respect L.A. And there’s real, real, serious people out in L.A. We love L.A., my chat loves L.A., and that’s that, bro. I will be there soon.”

DJ Akademiks Explains Why Jay-Z Has Media People Who Protect Him Against Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj continues to rally against Jay-Z and company over a couple of different reasons, including the Super Bowl halftime show and a shady TIDAL deal. As you can imagine, plenty of fans and celebrities alike came forward to defend Hov, even if the Trinidadian MC’s words ring truer for other factions online. However, many people wonder why he hasn’t responded. Is it because the New York rapper is too busy being a billionaire or something deeper? Well, DJ Akademiks thinks it’s the former, as he recently spoke on his livestream about how Jay set up a lot of media figures to defend him.

Moreover, DJ Akademiks started off by saying that Jay-Z, despite his feuds, followed the template for anyone who reached his level of success, one in a white supremacist, capitalist system that Ak says Black people have always been told they can’t reach. But Jay did. The media personality says that his business moves have always worked, albeit at the cost of co-opting culture on occasion. But then, the streamer got into the 54-year-old’s relationships with the media, which was his big overall point.

DJ Akademiks Speaks On Jay-Z’s Influence

Furthermore, DJ Akademiks posited that Jay-Z also set up a lot of people in powerful media and business positions. “Don’t you realize that Jay-Z don’t got to respond to nothing?” he theorized. “If you critique Jay-Z, there’s like ten n***as that jump out the window that instantly start backing him up. And if you look at it, they’re not just doing it just because of no reason. They usually have some sort of financial incentive or some type of tie.” A recent example of this was how Stephen A. Smith and Nicki Minaj have gone back and forth over her criticism of the Roc Nation boss, which is what Ak was reacting to in the first place.

Then, DJ Akademiks spoke on how Jay-Z’s influence spreads far beyond music and entertainment media, and brought up how Dame Dash has similar issues with him to those that Nicki Minaj has. Specifically, he couldn’t make a judgement call on Stephen A. Smith, as he’s unfamiliar with his business ventures. But maybe you don’t see these connections and relationships as negatively as others do.

ASAP Bari Says “It Can Never Be Over For Drake” After Kendrick Lamar Battle

At this point, any mention of the Kendrick Lamar and Drake battle this year probably sounds nauseating to you. But folks continue to debate and discuss it with a lot of fervor, especially now that we are seeing the outcome of it play out. Some fans just wanted a great lyrical exchange, others demanded proof and for whoever was the most “right” or “correct” to win, and a select few wanted the winner to destroy the loser’s career. That last possibility was never a reasonable end scenario either way, and during an appearance on the No Funny S**t program, ASAP Bari said that it’s not over for Drake.

“Nah, it can never be over for Drake. Drake is Drake,” A$AP Bari posited. “Hell no, hell no. It can never be over for Drake, honestly. I just feel like – Well, I was mad at the point of, like… I feel like, you know, if you gon’ start some s**t, finish it, you feel me? But that’s what we from. We from Harlem, we from New York, just period. You know, I’ma start a fight, I’ma finish it, you feel me? Nah, I feel like it was something that ticked him off and he wasn’t trying to take it that far. You understand?

“But, you know, I don’t think it’s over, you feel me?” A$AP Bari continued. “The fighting ain’t over until you see a n***a fall down, you feel me? So he could probably just be sitting back seeing what’s going on, and the rounds could go back, you feel me? There could be a part two, you feel me? I think they should’ve went down for three rounds. You lost the first round, let’s see what goes the second round, you feel me? Drake is the GOAT, man. Hell no, never over Hov.”

For those unaware, A$AP Bari does have some alleged issues with A$AP Rocky, and we all know how he and Drake feel about each other. But Bari is still correct in assessing that to count the Toronto superstar out entirely is an illusion. Round 2 is out of the question, but he’s enough of a hitmaker to brush a loss off.

Charleston White Accuses Lil Woody Of Snitching On Young Thug In Scathing Rant

During a conversation with No Jumper‘s Adam 22 earlier this month, Lil Woody took the opportunity to discuss his relationship with Charleston White and call the internet personality out for how he talks about him in interviews. “I had a lot of respect for him,” he explained. “I used to watch his interviews and stuff, on YouTube.” Woody then described feeling as though White was two-faced, as his internet antics didn’t line up with what their relationship was like in real life. “He getting on the internet, [talkin’ about] I’m a killer,” he said. “Like dang, bro, me and you don’t talk about none of this stuff.”

From there, Woody said that he was no longer interested in controversy, and warned White that he didn’t want real beef with him. Regardless, White recently hopped online to go off on Woody, and he didn’t hold back. In a clip, he puts him on blast for allegedly snitching in the YSL case, and more.

Clearly, Woody didn’t appreciate White’s comments. In the same clip, he’s seen addressing him on Instagram Live, and describing how he’s lost respect for him after hearing him talk about him this way. Moreover, he accused White of being upset that he didn’t agree to an interview, which he says he turned down because he didn’t want to do it for free. “I’m praying for you cuz you really need it,” he also said. “And you’re playing with the wrong one.”

Playboi Carti Laughs At Adin Ross After Streamer Gets Mocked By Hitta J3

Playboi Carti is really keeping fans on their toes. The rapper spent years in silence. He rarely posted on social media, and never, ever released music. All that has changed in the last month. Playboi Carti has dropped two (!) singles, including a collab with The Weeknd. He’s regularly promoting his album on IG and Twitter. And he’s even taking time out of his day to make fun of Kick streamer Adin Ross. Ross has been making headlines as of late for beefing with L.A. artists, and Carti decided to get in on the fun.

The Adin Ross vs. L.A. saga started on September 26. The streamer called out a Kendrick Lamar affiliate for claiming he wasn’t welcome on the West Coast due to his friendship with Drake. Ross proceeded to deny these claims, and threatened to sue the alleged affiliate. Ross also posted a video in which he said he would have security physically assault him. The tension boiled over the following day. Hitta J3, an L.A. rapper who claims to be a Kendrick Lamar affiliate, mocked Adin Ross via Instagram Stories. He brought up the incident in which Playboi Carti went on Ross’ stream, then left after six minutes and proceeded to dip with $2 million of the streamer’s money.

Playboi Carti Had An Infamous Appearance On A Ross Stream

“No wonder Carti didn’t take your podcast serious,” Hitta J3 wrote. “You n**gas be kids with some fame & let it get to yall head Adin.” It was a pretty devastating diss. Playboi Carti’s involvement only made it hit harder. The rapper decided to repost Hitta’s post on his own IG timeline and included a laughing emoji. It clearly struck him as funny that Ross is still getting made fun for an incident that happened in February. It is pretty obvious that Playboi Carti doesn’t have a lot of respect for Ross as a tastemaker.

The rapper has mostly stayed out of the Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar battle, and while he didn’t tip his hand either way, this dig against Ross is the closest we’ve seen to him picking a side. Playboi Carti wasn’t the only artist who dissed Adin Ross on Friday. Smac TDE went online and claimed that he was annoyed by Ross’ tough talk. He claimed to have been a fan of the streamer in the past, but vowed to mace and attack Adin Ross’ security if he ever saw him in L.A.

Karrahbooo Claims That “Soulless People” Are Trying To Ruin Her Career

Karrahbooo can’t seem to catch a break. She made waves initially for her music, and her involvement with Concrete Boys. Since parting ways with the group, though, Karrahbooo’s brand has become social media controversy. She can’t seem to go more than a week or two without beefing with her former label boss, Lil Yachty. The rapper took to Instagram on September 27, though, and made ominous comments about the state of her career. She claimed that people high up on the food chain are silencing her.

The post appeared on Karrahbooo’s Instagram Story. DJ Akademiks managed to grab a screenshot of the rapper’s statement, and it doesn’t look/sound good. Karrahbooo flat out states that “soulless people” are in control of her career. “It never goes good,” she claimed. “These people will do anything to they can to hurt u and make you look crazy in the media.” The rapper doesn’t mention anybody by name, but she goes on to level more accusations at them. Karrahbooo believes the powers that be encourage fans to turn their backs on the artists they once loved when the artist becomes difficult.

Karrahbooo Suggests She’s A ‘Victim’ Of The Industry

“When these victims try and tell the truth they just end up receiving so much backlash,” she claimed. “No one believes them.” The most ominous aspect of the post, however, came towards the end. The rapper alluded to the fact that most “victims” don’t get to tell their story until years later, when their career is already ruined. She doesn’t directly correlate her situation with this scenario, but it’s not a stretch to make the connection yourself.

“Nobody ever says anything until ten years later, Karrahbooo alleged. “One person decides to speak up and then everyone else come [sic] forward then all of a sudden everyone cares and feels bad.” She does not want to become one of these people, however. As she notes in her closing statement, ten years and an outpouring of sympathy does not make up for a derailed career. “It’s too late then,” she asserted. It’s difficult to parse what Karrahbooo is a “victim” of, given that she has been vague about her experiences with Lil Yachty and Concrete Boys. Hopefully more information comes to light. And soon.

Cardi B Pops Off On ATL Jacob After Producer Allegedly Shades Her

An easy way to avoid social media warfare is to avoid Cardi B. The rapper is vicious, and she seemingly has the time to pull the card of anybody she thinks is throwing shade. Offset suffered the wrath of his baby mama on September 25. Two days later, it was ATL Jacob’s turn. The Atlanta producer posted a few choice lyrics from the Future song “Perkys Callin” on Twitter. Cardi B determined that he meant to throw shade at her, so she proceeded to call the producer out with some vicious comments.

Let’s start with the Future lyrics. “Perkys Callin” is on the rapper’s 2016 mixtape Purple Reign. It’s an absolute heater, for what it’s worth, with Southside on the beat. The lyrics that ATL Jacob decided to spotlight make reference to women who get exposed for acting messy in public. “These h*es always getting exposed,” Future raps. “Ain’t got home trainin.” ATL Jacob posted the lyrics in response to a tweet referencing the Cardi B and Offset situation. The tweet in question asked whether there was a double standard in place for cheating on one’s spouse. Cardi didn’t appreciate what she saw.

Cardi B Claims That She Never Cheated On Offset

The rapper decided to quote tweet ATL Jacob and put him on blast. She hurled every name she could think of at the producer, and threatened to have him beaten up. “P**sy a*s b*tch stop playing with me,” Cardi posted. “You a whole man and stop shading me when I don’t even know you.” The rapper then decided to up the ante and assure ATL Jacob that things could get violent if he kept subtweeting. “I got a n**ga for you to square up with tho,” she added. “If you really got an issue. Send your best b*tch.”

In a somewhat surprising move, Cardi decided to quote tweet her own quote tweet. For those keeping track at home, that’s four quote tweets stacked on top of each other. It’s a Russian nesting doll of petty at this point. We digress. Cardi B claimed that she was faithful to Offset for the entire seven years they were together. She pointed out that she was never linked to another man when she was married to the Migos rapper. She also asserted that she’s a “clean slate b*tch.” ATL Jacob’s tweet really got under her skin. At least she set the record straight.

Rory And MAL Predict That Kendrick Lamar Will Be On J Cole’s “The Fall Off”

J Cole is getting his groove back. The rapper went down a few notches in most people’s books after he decided to bow out of the “Big Three” battle. It didn’t help that he followed up this weak showing with a head-scratching verse on Cash Cobain’s “Grippy.” But Cole has been regaining the plot in recent weeks. He skated on ASAP Rocky’s “Ruby Rosary.” He killed it on Daylyt’s “A Plate of Collard Greens.” And he’s electric on the new Tee Grizzley song, “Blow for Blow.” J Cole’s new album is on the way, and Rory and MAL think a major collab is destined to happen.

Rory and MAL dropped an episode of their podcast on September 27. They discuss J Cole’s impressive run of features, and theorize who could be a feature on his album, The Fall Off. One name came to mind for both: Kendrick Lamar. “I think Kendrick Lamar will be on The Fall Off,” Rory asserted. “I can’t wait to hear the song, because I love both of them.” The host took it a step further by claiming that Drake is well within his rights to diss Cole on his next release. “Cole can’t sit there and go ‘why you shooting at me?,” he said. “Because you doing music specifically with people I don’t f**k with.”

The Duo Theorize That Drake Will Diss J Cole In Return

MAL chimed in, claiming he really wants to see what happens if Lamar is on The Fall Off. “I hope he on that motherf**ker,” he asserted. “His a*s is on the chopping block… Cole, you next!” Rory and MAL have leaned pro-Drake throughout the “Big Three” battle. MAL, in particular, has a seemingly close bond with the 6 God and has relayed alleged messages from him on the podcast. Neither man claims to have info on J Cole’s plans for The Fall Off, but they do seem confident in their prediction. Their producer, Julian Delgado, agreed. “Kendrick’s gonna be on Cole’s next album,” he announced.

J Cole and Kendrick Lamar have had a contentious relationship since the whole “First Person Shooter” fiasco, but the former has really bent the knee for King Kunta. He took his lukewarm “7 Minute Drill” diss off streaming. He apologized in front of his own festival crowd. And he’s been working exclusively with artists who are anti-Drake, to support Rory’s point. Cole has worked with Rocky, Future, Metro Boomin and Daylyt in just a few short months. That’s a long list of 6 God enemies for it to mean nothing. We’ll see what happens.

Takeoff’s Brother Checks Offset For Mentioning His “Twin” In Twitter Rant

It has been a roller coaster week for Offset. The Migos rapper started things off strong, securing his first ever Diamond plaque for his appearance on Tyga’s “Taste.” The same day he got his plaque, though, his ex, Cardi B exploded on social media. She took to Instagram to air out their personal issues. They hurled insults at each other in the comment section. At one point, Cardi even posted screenshots of NSFW texts between her and Offset. It was a lot. And it kept going the next day.

Offset fired off a few angry tweets on Thursday morning. One of them alluded to the fact that he should have heeded the advice of those around him. Presumably, with regards to his relationship with Cardi B. “Listen to your ppl take and the bros TOld me,” he wrote. It seemed harmless enough. Offset wound up sparking another social media confrontation, though. YRN Lingo, the younger brother of Migos rapper Takeoff, didn’t like what Offset had to say. He called out Offset for alluding to Takeoff, and told him to think twice before involving the late rapper in personal drama.

YRN Lingo Urged Offset To Let His Brother Rest

“My brother ain’t tell him sh*t,” YRN Lingo wrote on Instagram. “Let my twin rest.” The comment makes sense when considering the strained relationship Offset had with Takeoff at the time of his death. They had a falling out around 2022, which led to the dissolution of Migos. Offset went solo, and Takeoff and Quavo started recording as a duo. It’s worth noting that Offset was not related to the other members of Migos. Takeoff avoided talking about the split during interviews, but Quavo made it clear that they were not close with the third member following the split.

“I just feel like we want to see our career as a duo,” Quavo told Revolt TV in 2022. He also threw shade at the lack of family ties between them and Offset. “We just came from a loyal family,” the rapper asserted. “Sh*t that’s supposed to stick together. And sometimes, when sh*t don’t work out, it ain’t meant to be.” Despite their falling out, Offset admitted that Takeoff’s death emotionally affected him. “That sh*t hurts,” he told Variety in 2023. “Some things I don’t never tell nobody. He’s not here.” We hope the Migos rapper catches a break in the near future. Maybe he should take a break from social media.
