Lil Uzi Vert is unloading some pretty significant property. Back in 2021, Uzi spent $4.4 million on a mansion in Bell Canyon just outside of Los Angeles. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the mansion is absolutely state-of-the-art sitting on 1.35 acres of land. It’s 7000 sq. feet of house with five bedrooms, plus a pool and jacuzzi. The house has reportedly been Uzi’s primary residence since they made the purchase in 2021 but it may not be for much longer.

Lil Uzi Vert has reportedly listed the mansion for sale for $6 million. The sale could net the rapper a nice $1 million plus in profit if it goes through at the listed price. It’s unclear at the time if Uzi has any idea of where they may head to next for a permanent residence, or if there are any buyers actively interested in the mansion. Lil Uzi Vert Lists LA Mansion For Sale

Earlier this year Lil Uzi Vert released their highly anticipated new album Pink Tape. The project became the first rap album to hit number one on the Billboard 200 in 2023. Despite the album’s success, Uzi turned around right around and started promoting their next project. The teases for the album have taken numerous forms eventually landing on the Young Thug-tributing Barter 16.

Uzi is also promising that another project, LUV Is Rage 3 is also on the way. They shared the lead single for the album “NFL” back in September but haven’t shared any information on a potential release date. Lil Uzi Vert Says They’re “Sick And Sad” While Previewing New Music

After it seemed for weeks like Lil Uzi Vert was gearing up to drop a new album, they’ve been pretty quiet in recent weeks. After releasing Pink Tape earlier this year Uzi turned around and began teasing a follow-up pretty much immediately. Firstly that took the form of a third album in their Luv Is Rage series. But after a few weeks of teasing that they shifted into building up hype for the Young Thug inspired Barter 16 project.

Now, it appears both albums could still be on the way. In the past few weeks, Uzi has teased both projects. Firstly, they shared a behind-the-scenes clip from a music video that was meant for Barter 16. Just a few days later during a concert, Uzi promised fans that Luv Is Rage 3 is still on the way soon. Now they’re taking to Instagram to share an update on music and their own wellbeing. “Sick and sad hit different,” they caption an Instagram story video. Lil Uzi Vert Builds “Barter 16” Hype With BTS Photos From Upcoming Music Video

Lil Uzi Vert crushed hip-hop’s dry spell on the Billboard 200 when Pink Tape dropped earlier this year but it didn’t take long for them to begin promising fans new music. Uzi is currently gearing up for the release of their forthcoming album, Barter 16, which was initially intended to drop in the weeks following Pink Tape. Lil Uzi Vert isn’t necessarily one to follow rigid timelines, as we’ve seen with their previous projects. However, it appears that we might be getting a new single from them in the near future.

The rapper, who recently tapped Birdman to help out with Barter 16, took to Instagram with a photo dump that included stills from their upcoming music video, as well as a snippet from the editing room. Unfortunately, they muted the video clip, so we didn’t get a preview of new music. Still, they provided fans with a promising update. “NFL vid30 0N Th3 W@Y 𐕣 (never fall in Luv ),” Uzi captioned the post. Hopefully, we won’t be waiting a long time for the song and video to drop.

When Does Barter 16 Drop?

Interestingly enough, Lil Uzi Vert already turned the album into their label. Earlier this month, the rapper ran into a group of fans, including one who asked when the highly-anticipated album would drop. “I’m trying to drop that sh*t by the end of next week,” they said on a clip that surfaced on Sept. 10th, “because I’m trying to drop another album.” Although Uzi already had the summer on lock with Pink Tape, it seems like they’ll have even more heat for us during the fall and winter seasons.

Even though they haven’t released a single from Barter 16 yet, the rapper came through with some new heat in August that might indicate what we should expect. Uzi teamed up with Mike Will Made-It on “Blood Moon,” which includes additional production from J. Cole. Hopefully, we’ll hear the two of them together on Barter 16. Unfortunately for Lil Uzi Vert fans, it seems like their upcoming mixtape Barter 16 is turning out to be just as mythical and long-awaited as their past projects like Pink Tape and Eternal Atake. Considering full song leaks and continuous teases, some fans fear that it may be too good to be true. Regardless, the Philly superstar is still committed to dropping the album soon, or at least that’s what they told fans (or reporters… or both) when they approached them in their vehicle. Moreover, Uzi stated that they want to drop the Young Thug-tributing release by the end of next week. Not only that, but they shared that they want to drop a whole other album, too.

Back in July, Lil Uzi Vert revealed that their plan was not to release a deluxe for The Pink Tape and instead immediately start work on a new album. It’s an impressive turnaround given fans had to wait three years between Eternal Atake and The Pink Tape. However, The Pink Tape was a massive success, hitting #1 and selling over 167,000 units in its opening week.

Furthermore, the notion that Vert is working on new material has been bolstered by some newly released studio images. Vert was spotted in the studio with Veeze and ASAP Bari. Veeze, dropped his debut album GANGER back in June. The Michigan rapper is a major up-and-comer with ties to Future. Meanwhile, it’s clear why Bari would be linking himself with these two major names in the rap scene. The presence of Veeze suggests that the rapper might be getting a feature on this new mystery album from Vert. However, very few details are available about this project. At this time, all we know is that it will be called Barter 16 and serve as a tribute to Young Thug.

The project was an instant hit becoming the first rap album to reach number one on the Billboard 200 in 2023. But pretty much immediately after the project dropped Uzi began teasing another project. That album is Barter 16 which is reportedly a tribute to Young Thug carrying in the line of his Barter releases. The promotion for the record has included working with a number of Young Thug’s regular collaborators and even Uzi dressing up as Thug at public events.

It was one of those collaborators who broke some news that fans are pretty excited to hear. London On Da Track, who is executive producing the album tweeted out that it had just been turned in.
