Deion Patterson, Atlanta Shooting Suspect, Has Been Arrested

A medical building in midtown Atlanta was the site of a shooting today. Sadly, it resulted in the death of at least one woman and injury of four others. No suspect was in custody at the time of the incident. Later, police identified Deion Patterson, 24, as the perpetrator in a tweet. The Atlanta police chief stated during a press conference that the five women were shot in a waiting room at Northside Hospital. The suspect reportedly became agitated while waiting for an appointment. After this, he pulled out a handgun and shot the five women.

A 39-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the four injured were transported to a hospital for treatment. Three of the patients were in critical condition, and one was in stable condition. During a news conference, police indicated that a camera spotted Deion Patterson, the suspect, near a parking garage close to Truist Park and The Battery. The police chief stated that the suspect carjacked a vehicle to flee the crime scene.

Patterson Apprehended By Police

Earlier this evening, it was announced that the suspect was still on the run. However, it now appears that Patterson has been caught. In a tweet from the Cobb County Police Department, they announced that he had been found. “Deion Patterson has been apprehended,” the tweet said. “Details will be provided during a joint press conference with Atlanta PD.” Apparently, Patterson was at the medical facility with his mother for an appointment. Three of the victims are reportedly still in critical condition. Whether or not there was a connection between Patterson and the victims remains unclear. Sadly, it appears that mental illness played a role in his actions.

Patterson’s served in the U.S. Coast Guard for several years. They have stated that he began serving in July 2018 and was discharged in January 2023. According to his mother Minyone, who spoke to the Associated Press, Patterson had been struggling with “some mental instability” since Friday after taking medication prescribed to him by the Veterans Affairs medical system. She stated that her son had requested Ativan to treat his anxiety and depression, but was turned down due to its addictive nature. Stay tuned to HNHH for updates on this case and others.

Atlanta Shooting Suspect Deion Patterson At Large After 1 Killed

A medical building in Atlanta was the site of a shooting earlier today. It resulted in the death of at least one woman and injury of four others. No suspect was in custody at the time of the incident. However, police have since identified Deion Patterson, 24, as the perpetrator in a tweet. As of Wednesday evening, he is still at large.

Authorities believe they have recovered the car.

Suspect Is Still On The Run

Deion Patterson is still on the run, according to police. “Everyone consider him still armed and presenting a danger to whatever community he may find himself in at this time,” police said. The authorities have not recovered any firearm that may have been used during the shooting. Patterson was described as having very minimal contact with the Atlanta police before the shooting. He was also reportedly part of the US Coast Guard until earlier this year. The police have instructed that no one should approach Patterson.

While it is unclear what exactly caused Patterson to shoot the victims, it is the second US shooting making major headlines in less than a week. Just last Friday, five were killed in an “execution style” killing in Cleveland, Texas. Luckily, the suspect in that case was caught. Still, with each incident that occurs, it becomes more clear that something must change. Until then, citizens must simply remain vigilant. Stay tuned to HNHH for any updates on the case.

Lil Wayne Cancels Atlanta Concert Less Than 24 Hours Before, Fans React

Lil Wayne unfortunately disappointed his Atlanta fans on Saturday (April 22) when he announced he had to cancel that tour stop due to unforeseen circumstances. Moreover, Weezy is currently on his “Welcome To Tha Carter” tour, which received much critical and fan acclaim up until this point. No doubt the trek will continue to please fans young and old, but it’s always a sting when this occurs to a live show. While many fans expressed understandable disappointment and anger, the rap legend’s message did give some hope to the city. In his statement, he hinted towards the solution he and his team are seeking.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances we have to reschedule the Atlanta show tomorrow,” Lil Wayne posted on social media. “I apologize to my fans, but I kan’t wait to turn up with y’all soon. Luv ATL.” Furthermore, this would’ve been the Young Money boss’s 14th tour stop out of a total of 28, and the trek is scheduled to end in Los Angeles, California on May 13. Hopefully more exciting live performances in the future don’t see the same fate, although the more important hope is that Tunechi is doing well and healthy throughout these dates.

Lil Wayne Cancels Atlanta Show

Cancelling live shows can be very scary for artists, but sometimes they have to happen due to scarier circumstances. For example, Desiigner recently canceled all his upcoming concert dates to focus on his mental health, which reportedly took a nosedive. The rapper exposed himself on a plane, and the reaction grew much more sympathetic following his emotional message. With these situations in mind, fans hope that Lil Wayne is above all having a good and fulfilling time during this tour, free of health issues or other circumstances that can seriously impede his trek.

Fortunately, those who missed the Atlanta show or the tour in general have a lot of the “Let The Beat Build” MC to enjoy these days. Not only did he kickstart the campaign for Tha Carter VI with “Kant Nobody” featuring DMX, but he also appeared on Swizz Beatz’s Hip Hop 50: Vol. 2 EP. Still, a lot of fans were disappointed, and you can see the extent of their reactions down below. For the latest greatness from Lil Wayne and the rest of his tour, stick around on HNHH.

21 Savage Surprises Fans During Young Nudy’s Atlanta Concert

Family ties can lead to incredible artistic chemistry, and there are fewer better examples of that than cousins Young Nudy and 21 Savage. Moreover, Nudy just invited 21 to join him during his Atlanta concert, his final homecoming tour stop for his 2023 dates. Unsurprisingly, the crowd went absolutely ballistic when 21 Savage graced the stage, and they performed the track “Peaches & Eggplants” to a wild group of fans. If you’re looking for more from the East Atlanta trap star, he recently released his latest food-themed album Gumbo, where he delivers high-quality cuts while tapping into his inner MF DOOM.

When it comes to the Her Loss‘s guest appearances as of late, they’ve been nothing short of energizing and impactful. The weekend before linking up with Young Nudy, 21 Savage appeared during Metro Boomin’s fantastic set at Coachella. Sure, they played some of 21’s contributions to his latest album HEROES & VILLAINS, but also went through their extensive and iconic collaborative history. Whether it was “X,” “Runnin’,” or “Bank Account,” the MC-producer duo ripped through the festival grounds like a hulking beast- or like The Hulk, considering Metro’s comic book-inspired presentation.

Young Nudy & 21 Savage Serve Atlanta Crowd “Peaches & Eggplants”

What’s more is that other artists recently took note of Young Nudy and 21 Savage’s chemistry, with one artist in particular remixing one of their team-ups’ instrumentals. None other than Lil Yachty took a shot at the duo’s “EA” in a snippet he shared while on Kai Cenat’s stream. Over the menacing instrumental, Yachty floats with off-kilter flows and consistent switch-ups that make his relaxed delivery feel more potent. Hopefully the remix lands sooner rather than later, as it would mark one of the only times that the 2016 XXL Freshmen officially collaborate on a song.

Regardless of that, Young Nudy will likely continue to deliver on the colorful yet still grimy aesthetics that he’s graced fans with so far. Another standout project from him is EA Monster, which he dropped last August to a lot of fan acclaim. It seems like no matter the occasion or the context, a Nudy and 21 joint never misses. Emani Blasts Bambi For Posting Receipts Of Erica Dixon Allegedly Abusing Her

Some drama between two “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” stars just took an even sharper turn with one of their daughters jumping into the ring. Moreover, Emani Richardson just hopped on Instagram Live to bash Bambi for posting alleged receipts that Emani’s mother, Erica Dixon, abused her. Furthermore, Emani said that Bambi can’t even take care of her other kids and criticized her for talking on behalf of her and thrashing her mother through the mud. Overall, it was quite the heated message, as she also dismissed those claims that Erica abused her in the past. Not only that, but this follows a scathing message that Bambi had for Erica Dixon.

“Y’all so mad cuz I’m really ‘that lady,’” Bambi wrote on her Instagram Story. “But you’ll never be anything other than ‘that n***a baby moma’ @msericadixon. Since you wanna play with me… the reason why I never liked your a** is because since your child was 8 years old she confided in me about you bullying her and two piecing her a**! I let people think otherwise and never spoke up because Scrapp was handling it with the court and she was underage.

Emani Trashes Bambi For Dragging Erica Dixon

“But b***h f**k you!” Bambi continued against Erica Dixon, speaking on her relationship with daughter Emani. “It’s up. And here is one incident report of many. Now pipe tf down & show some respect to that lady that consoled your baby after you busted her s**t all those times.” What’s more is that Bambi actually posted a full legal document alleging abuse on her Instagram Story as well, adding fuel to the fire. Moreover, that seems to have angered Emani the most.

“Public record,” Bambi captioned the picture of the legal document in question. “Please stop playing. I love this child and kept my mouth closed but y’all doing the most! You sent the cops to my house being petty as usual. And then your child wanted to talk to them and tell them this s**t on her own.” Given this is a nasty and complicated web of beef, a lot of people are advising young Emani to stay out of it. Regardless, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Emani, Erica Dixon, and Bambi.

T.I. put his acting skill to the test in this mini-movie. “Trap Back Jumpin” comes from his eighth studio album, Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head. The video is 10 minutes long and shows the rapper moving around his city. T.I. reminds us why he is one of the originators of trap music.

14. “Family Connect” ft. Domani (2020)

On an album filled with stars like Lil Baby, 21 Savage, and Jadakiss, Tip’s son, Domani, has one of the best features. T.I. gives his son some game on “Family Connect.” The track appears on the Atlanta rapper’s eleventh studio album, The L.I.B.R.A. Domani shares his feelings with his dad about where he’s headed while Tip schools his son on the ins and outs of this thing we called life. Domani has crafted a career outside of his father’s spotlight. His fans believe he’s up next for superstardom.

13. “Memories Back Then” T.I. ft. B.O.B. & Kendrick Lamar (2013)

T.I. tells a story on “Memories Back Then.” His first verse is a vivid tale about a young woman. The song features B.O.B. and Kendrick Lamar. It samples the popular song “Somebody That I Used To Know” by Goyte. Because of clearance issues, the single could not make T.I.’s album.

12. “Private Show” ft. Chris Brown(2014)

T.I. is no stranger to making songs for the ladies. He calls on Chris Brown for “Private Show,” a single from Paperwork. This is the second time the two artists have collaborated. In 2014, they came together on “Get Back Up” from his album, No Mercy.

11. “What Up, What’s Haapnin”(2008)

Tip didn’t hold back on this one. In “What Up, What’s Haapnin’,” he directs his lyrics to Shawty Lo, another ATL rapper. The part atmosphere music video had several noteworthy cameos. Future, Lil Duval, Rocko, and a young Meek Mill were seen. The video was even shot in Shawty Lo’s hood.

10. “Big Things Poppin’ (Do It)”(2006)

In one of his bigger hits, T.I. delivers on “Big Shit Poppin’ (Do It).” It was one of the best songs in 2007 off his fifth studio album, T.I. vs T.I.P. The song was nominated for two Grammy awards in 2008. T.I. lost both the Best Rap Solo Performance and Best Rap Song to “Good Life” and “Stronger” by Kanye West. ”Big Shit Poppin” made its way tot he Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.

9. “You Know What It Is” T.I. ft. Wyclef Jean (2007)

After dropping the lead single to T.I. vs T.I.P., T.I. drops “You Know What It Is.” The song features Wyclef Jean as he is heard throughout the track. Though it did not win a Grammy, the song still saw success on the charts. It remained on the charts for over four months.

8. “Whatever You Like” (2008)

“Whatever You Like” was yet another No. 1 hit for T.I. On the track, he boasted about all of the things he would give to his woman. This is a song about his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, a singer from the legendary R&B group Xscape. The pair couple has seen its ups and downs, but they’re hip hop royalty in the industry.

7. “Swagga Like Us” ft. Kanye West, Lil Wayne, & Jay-Z(2008)

Four juggernauts collaborated on “Swagga Like Us” and didn’t disappoint.  T.I. nabbed a Grammy with this one for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.  The song was very popular as many other artists freestyled over it. They even performed it at the awards show. There’s always talk of who had the best verse.

6. “Live Your Life” ft. Rihanna(2008)

“Live Your Life” took over the airwaves and continues to be a fan favorite. The song hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts giving Tip his third No. 1 song. Rihanna can certainly stand alone when it comes to making hits, but her collaborations with rappers catapult up the charts. She belts her way through the catchy chorus which complements T.I.’s smooth verses.

5. “ASAP”(2004)

“ASAP” is one of Tip’s bigger hits. From his third studio album, Urban Legend, T.I. scored another gold plaque. Rumor is that this song is a diss to Houston rapper Lil Flip. For those who don’t remember, the two had an altercation in Houston, but they reportedly met behind closed doors and ended their feud.

4. “Dead & Gone” T.I. ft. Justin Timberlake (2008)

After collaborating on “My Love,” T.I. and Justin Timberlake do it again on “Dead and Gone.” Tip gets vulnerable on this song as he discusses the death of his bodyguard and best friend, Philant Johnson. Also, around this time, he was dealing with legal troubles. The duo performed the song at the Grammys and was nominated at the following year’s ceremony.  “Dead and Gone” was up for Best Rap Song and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, ultimately losing both awards to “Run This Town” by Jay-Z.

3. “Bring Em Out” (2004)

“Bring Em Out” is still a song you can hear in 2023.  It’s hailed as a sports team anthem, as it could be played before the game, during warmups, and even at halftime. With this hit, T.I. saw another Top 10 track on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Rumor is that this beat was intended for Beanie Sigel, but he went to jail. Then, it was meant for Joe Budden, but he didn’t want to pay to clear the Jay-Z vocals. This allegedly just fell into Tip’s lap.

2. “What You Know”(2006)

In 2006, T.I. took the game by storm with “What You Know.”  You heard this song everywhere, and it received many accolades. At the Grammys, “What You Know” won Best Rap Solo Performance and was nominated for Best Rap Song, losing out to “Money Maker” by Ludacris ft. Pharrell. Several publications had it as one of the top songs of the year. “What You Know” was also the lead single to promote T.I. ‘s movie, ATL. This is one of T.I.’s best songs, as it spent over five months on the Billboard charts.

1. “Rubber Band Man”(2003)

T.I. is the rubber band man. He came on the scene declaring this and was known for wearing his infamous bands around his wrist. Arguably the biggest hit in his discography, Tip called upon fellow rapper David Banner to produce the song.  It’s off his second studio album, Trap Muzik.

T.I. lets us know he rubs shoulders with some of Hip Hop’s finest, as there are many stars in the music video. Usher, Jagged Edge, Jazze Pha, Diddy, Bow Wow, and Lil Duval make cameos. Ex-NFL Quarterback Michael Vick can also be seen.  Though it did not win any awards, “Rubber Band Man” is regarded as one of Atlanta’s greatest songs.

Jamie Foxx “Steadily Improving” In Atlanta After Health Scare

According to a source who spoke to PEOPLE, Jamie Foxx is “steadily improving” following his medical emergency and hospitalization. For those unaware, his daughter Corinne Foxx broke the news in an Instagram post. “We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” she wrote. “Luckily, due to quick action and great case, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time. Much love, The Foxx Family.”

Not only that, but apparently the situation could’ve been tragic according to other reports from TMZ. “We’re told his condition was serious enough that Jamie’s family, some of whom were not in town, came to the hospital,” they claimed. “He’s communicating now, and that’s good news.” To elaborate, Foxx was in Georgia filing the Netflix comedy Back In Action, which now faces a slew of production issues given Foxx’s hospitalization. Interestingly enough, the film was already facing a lot of issues, such as the 55-year-old being subject to a $40,000 scam while on set.

Jamie Foxx Is Slowly Recovering After Hospitalization

Furthermore, LeBron James was one of many celebrities and fans who wished the Django Unchained star well. “Sending my thoughts and prayers to the heavens above to my brother @iamjamiefoxx!!!!” LeBron wrote on Twitter. “Get well and back to yourself SOONER THAN LATER! God willing.” Even though people expressed their support on social media, they did so without knowing any symptoms or barely any details as to the incident. In addition, his state of recovery has not yet resulted in a release date from the hospital or a date to continue filming.

Even though the set of Back In Action is quite hectic and disorganized at the moment, there’s hope that Foxx will feel better very soon. As quite the beloved actor with a lot of range and chemistry, this certainly raised the upcoming film’s profile in an unfortunate way. Hopefully Foxx’s scary situation and prompt recovery will get some of those bad vibes out of the studio. Regardless, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Jamie Foxx.
