Lil Wayne Sued By Former Bodyguard For Alleged Assault & Gun Threat

Lil Wayne is back in the legal realm of accountability, and it’s not just because of his possible connection in the YSL RICO trial. Moreover, it’s because his former bodyguard Carlos Christian sued him for alleged assault and threats with a firearm, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ. Specifically, Christian claimed to police that the rapper punched him in the ear and threatened to shoot him with a semiautomatic rifle. Furthermore, these are claims that the ex-security team member took seriously given his former client’s history, as he served time for weapons charges.

However, maybe this story doesn’t sound all that new to you, and you would be somewhat right in that assumption. This all went down back in December of 2021, when Christan called law enforcement to Lil Wayne’s house in Hidden Hills, California due to the alleged dispute that reportedly occurred there. Still, when they arrived, sources close to him denied any such escalation and claimed that he didn’t even own a gun in the first place. As of writing this article, the Welcome 2 ColleGrove artist hasn’t responded to this whole ordeal.

Regardless, from what these alleged legal documents detail according to TMZ, Carlos Christian has prepared a full case against him with the help of his legal team. For example, he claims that Lil Wayne’s alleged attack and threat cost him medical expenses, lost him wages, and caused emotional distress given this supposed experience. Now, Christian plans to make the “Oprah & Gayle” artist pay up for this with punitive and compensatory damages. It’s unclear if this will be a quick resolution or if Weezy will want to take this up in court.

Meanwhile, all this comes as his beef with Young Thug might become a relevant part of his RICO case along with YSL. That depends on the prosecution and how the court will admit that evidence, and it’s still far too early in the process to call. Von Miller Surrenders To Police, Bond Set At $5000

Von Miller surrendered to police on Thursday afternoon after a warrant for his arrest was issued on Wednesday. Per TMZ, Miller was booked around 4pm Central on Thursday and released on bond soon after. According to ESPN, Miller’s bond was set at $5000. He had been wanted by police in Texas since late morning Wednesday after they responded to a “major disturbance call” concerning Miller and his pregnant partner. According to an affidavit, an argument about Miller’s partner’s travel plans had allegedly turned violent. Miller allegedly shoved her, pulled her hair, and placed his hands around her neck on two separate occasions.

Miller is currently on a bye week and returned to his home state of Texas during the time off from the Bills. Both the Bills and the NFL have since released statements, acknowledging the arrest and stating that they were investigating the allegations. Miller was previously investigated on similar accusations in Colorado in 2021. However, that inquiry did not lead to any sort of formal police intervention.

A court date has not reportedly been set for Miller at this time. As a result, his current status with the Bills is unknown. Buffalo is due to face the Chiefs on December 10. Whether Miller will be joining the team for that road game remains to be seen. He played 21 snaps in the Bills’ loss to the Eagles on Sunday. Miller, who signed a six-year deal with the Buffalo in 2022, continues to play limited snap counts as he rehabs from an ACL tear. Across eight games this season, Miller has recorded two total tackles.

Furthermore, it’s unknown if he will remain in Texas for the time being. The report of his assault by his alleged victim paints a disturbing picture. According to the alleged victim, Miller had demanded that she leave their shared apartment as a result of their argument. However, she claims that as she tried to collect her things, Miller repeatedly assaulted her and smashed her laptop. Miller himself is set to release any sort of statement regarding the matter and his current whereabouts are unknown. Miller and his alleged victim share two children together.

Jonathan Majors Trial: Judge To Rule On Unsealing London Police Report

The assault trial of actor Jonathan Majors has begun in New York. Majors is accused of the misdemeanor assault and harassment of his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. Majors allegedly became physically violent with Jabbari during a night out in March. However, before the trial gets fully underway, the presiding judge will rule on the admissibility of one particular document. The prosecution entered a domestic violence report filed with The Metropolitan Police in London, England six months before Majors’ New York arrest. Before the trial begins in full, the judge will rule if that police report is unsealed and thus part of the public record.

The day before the trial start, Majors was seen in New York with his current girlfriend, actress Meagan Good. The pair, who have been dating since the summer, were spotted at Jack’s Wife Freda for lunch before taking to the streets of the city, with Majors wrapping his arm around Good. Good has appeared by Majors’ side for much of the pre-trial proceedings. Meanwhile, several other women have come forward with similar allegations of violence against Majors. Furthermore, a Rolling Stone investigation painted a picture of violence and manipulation that dated back as far as Majors’ time at Yale. Furthermore, as Majors’ trial begins, several major consequences still hang over his head. Magazine Dreams, an upcoming drama starring Majors, will no longer be released on December 8. Speaking with CNN, Disney confirmed that the film did not currently have a release date. Searchlight Pictures, a subsidiary of Disney, acquired the distribution rights to the film after it opened to rave reviews at Sundance. Furthermore, Disney’s live-action Snow White film starring Rachel Zegler has been pushed back from March 2024 to March 2025.

Additionally, according to an extensive report from Variety, Marvel is reportedly considering what action to take over the ongoing Majors situation. At a retreat in September, studio execs discussed various backup plans if the actor is found guilty at his trial. Majors was meant to be the crux of the next era of the MCU. However, the actor’s assault charges have put that in jeopardy. While he has appeared in the most recent season of Loki, it’s likely the last time Majors will be seen in the MCU for some time. “Marvel is truly f-cked with the whole Kang angle. And they haven’t had an opportunity to rewrite until very recently [because of the WGA strike]. But I don’t see a path to how they move forward with him,” one high-ranking executive said.

Furthermore, taking to Instagram Live, he provided a raw and emotional account of the incident, though he refrained from directly implicating Chrisean Rock. “My teeth have to be fixed and thats whats happening right now,” he said while showing his view of a dentist office. “And no I’m not going to show my face. My face is beat. It’s tore up. So right now I have to get teeth fixed that someone damaged. “I’m not gonna show my face, but I will show that I’m at the dentist getting my teeth fixed. I was attacked for no reason,” he continued.

“I know I don’t owe anyone anything,” he said. “Enough with the blaming everyone else. People are accusing me of clout chasing, I don’t need nobody’s clout and I don’t need clout from a negative source.” In a different moment, he admitted getting emotional and revealed a conversation with a higher power. “I asked God, why did this happen to me. God said it wasn’t about you,” he shared, leaving viewers grappling with the mysterious circumstances surrounding the assault. However, he continued. “I don’t know why me, but I’ll tell y’all this. I’m getting emotional. I asked God, why did this happen to me? God said it wasn’t about you.” Moreover, Chanel has gotten an outpour of support from social media.

Practically everyone but Braxton has spoken out at this point, but on Monday (November 13) evening, a video appeared online in which she confirms Rock is responsible for traumatizing her friend and colleague.

“I wasn’t going to say anything out of respect for James,” the reality starlet began. “He got assaulted at my show, and it was by Chrisean,” she specifically noted before sharing that several events resulted in the chaos that ensued that night. Before getting into the real tea, Braxton acknowledged her team and how much she loves them. “I’m not a clout chaser, I don’t need that,” the 46-year-old said, seemingly addressing Tommie Lee’s post about Rock’s antics being the only reason why the performance went viral.

Lil Reese Seemingly Throws Down With Group Of Women In Chicago

In a continuation of his bad week, Lil Reese has been spotted throwing down with a group of women in Chicago. The rapper was caught on video pushing, punching, and even grabbing a few people by the neck. The video comes just a few days after Reese had to debunk claims that he had been shot. It’s unclear what caused the altercation and if there are any consequences of it. The fight remains a developing story and we’ll have any updates as they emerge.

However, it’s not the first time that Reese has been accused of violence against women. Over a decade ago in 2012, a video emerged of Reese pulling the hair of a woman who was later revealed to be his baby mama. It’s unclear if there was anything related that led to the rumors. However, Reese is doing fine and has not been shot. However, it was a pretty scary time with his fans, with no one giving a clear account of the situation before Reese spoke out.

Earlier in the month, he also spoke on his 2021 shooting incident while appearing on No Jumper. “They was shootin’ from five lanes over. It’s goofy shit. They was five lanes over, shootin’ at my car, thinkin’ I was somebody else. Somebody else had the same car as me, and they just did a video in the car, so they thought my car was his car, and they shot my car up,” Reese told Adam22.

ASAP Rocky & ASAP Relli In “Early Discussions” Of Possible Lawsuit Settlement: Report

ASAP Rocky is reportedly in “early discussions” of a possible settlement in the lawsuit ASAP Relli filed against him regarding an altercation in November 2021, according to Radar Online. For the incident, prosecutors claimed he shot his former friend to which Rocky pleaded not guilty. They charged him with two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm.

“Discharging a gun in a public place is a serious offense that could have ended with tragic consequences not only for the person targeted but also for innocent bystanders visiting Hollywood,” Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón said. “My office conducted a thorough review of the evidence in this case and determined that the addition of a special firearm allegation was warranted.” Afterward, Relli sued Rocky for assault, battery, intentional affliction of emotional distress, and negligence.

In response to the lawsuit, Rocky’s attorney, Joe Tacopina accused Relli of trying to extort his client. “It was an extortion attempt by a former associate, who threatened to make false criminal accusations if Rocky didn’t pay him,” he told multiple outlets, as noted by AllHipHop. After the comments, Relli filed a second lawsuit against Rocky and his lawyer, accusing them of defamation. Speaking with Rolling Stone, Tacopina added that the decision would backfire: “It will expose the fraud committed by their client. It’s unfortunate that these lawyers don’t know the facts of this case or the actions of their client, but I will be happy to educate them.” For the defamation lawsuit, Relli hired Johnny Depp’s lawyer, Camille Vasquez, from his own case with Amber Heard.

[WATCH] The Unjust Assault On Our Women: When Will It Stop?

Growing up in Harlem NYC back in the 90’s, it was a common thing for young men to ‘holler’ at a girl passing by in the street. Many times if that girl didn’t respond or ‘thought she was cute’ one of the guys would throw a bottle in her direction and everyone would laugh. I was always in the streets, so seeing this behavior became oddly normal to me. As a defense mechanism, I became tough. Some would say a ‘scrapper’ and my answer to dealing with this aggressiveness daily in Harlem was to become just as tough as the men were. That was until I filled out and puberty began to take over and men began to approach me too. I’ve had bottles thrown at me, fought men off to protect my own vagina and sadly, much much more.

This weekend, a Houston woman released a video saying she was hit in the face with a brick after a man asked for her number and she told him no. The details of the incident are limited but in the video, the woman has a huge knot covering half of her face, which she said was caused by being hit with a brick.

She said that a guy approached her, asked for her number, she told him “no”, and then he picked up a brick. The woman said that a group of black men stood by and did nothing as she was struck by an unidentified man who sped off in a car. When she angrily approached the group of men asking why they did nothing while she was assaulted, one responded—“What are we supposed to do?”

This was triggering for many black women in the comments on social media because this is a far too common thing. Women feeling scared and giving out fake numbers to appease a man who could possibly turn violent. The truth is we are alone in this battle. Many people will make excuses for our feelings while the proof is painfully honest. We are forced to be ‘strong black women’ in spite of what happens to us, what is put on us and what we have to endure. I pray this woman finds justice and this man is brought to the light.

To all the black women out there that suffer through countless attacks daily and are forced to be strong, I see you and I respect you. May we all get the royal treatment we truly deserve.

Alleged Victim Of Nicki Minaj And Kenneth Petty Details “Ferocious Attack,” Seeks Default Judgement

The alleged victim of Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty is now requesting that the court provide him with a default judgement. The security guard, Thomas Weidenmüller, claims that during one of the rap diva’s 2019 performance an overzealous fan bypassed security and made their way up to the stage. Luckily, the fan wasn’t ever able to get to Nicki, as security intervened just in time. According to Weidenmüller, however, Nicki was still extremely upset by the situation and took it out on a female guard.

Weidenmüller says that he ran into the couple later, and Nicki “screamed obscenities” at him. “Petty repositioned himself out of my eyesight and without warning struck me in the face, which stunned and disoriented me. Because of the surprise nature of the attack, I am not sure as to whether Petty hit me with his fist or with a weapon,” the lawsuit reads.

According to the suit, he’s had to have seven jaw surgeries in attempts to repair the damage caused by the “ferocious attack.” He’s seeking a default judgement now for $750K in medical expenses, emotional distress, and pain and suffering. “The pain I felt in the moment was far more extreme than any pain I had ever experienced in my life, or have felt since that day,” Weidenmüller claims. “I felt a blinding pain in my head, neck, and face.”

He adds that he’ll likely need to undergo four additional surgeries as part of his healing process. “The doctors must still insert implants into my jaw as a part of the reconstruction process. In the interim, the doctors have inserted donor bones from a deceased person into my mouth in order to preserve space for future implants.”

DaBaby’s Lawsuit For Assaulting 65-Year-Old Moving Forward

Last year, news broke that DaBaby was sued by a 65-year-old man named Gary Pagar who owned a property the rapper was staying in. He claims that the “SHAKE SUMN” rapper physically confronted him after breaking the rules in the home he was renting. Since being served the legal papers the rapper has been able to effectively delay the lawsuit, but not anymore. The case wasn’t moved forward at the time because of an ongoing felony case he was dealing with that would have been compromised if he moved forward with the assault case.

In a new statement to the court, Pagar asked the court to move forward. Pagar knows that fact to be true; [DaBaby] knows that fact to be true; and the numerous eyewitnesses who were huddled around Pagar and [DaBaby] at the time know that fact to be true. The whole incident is also evidenced by several videos—taken on cell phones by eyewitnesses,” his statement read. He also claims that the rapper “does not want to admit in a declaration that he assaulted and battered Pagar because it would incriminate him in a parallel criminal case arising out of the assault.”

He had pretty much had his crew beat up the older guy because the older guy told him not to throw a party. He had a videoshoot at the rental property and broke the rules,” reads one comment. This year DaBaby has scored his biggest hit in a while. “SHAKE SUMN” had stuck in the Hot 100 for months after blowing up on TikTok.
