Gunplay’s Wife Further Speaks Out On His Behavior, Claims He Choked Their Child

For those unaware, authorities arrested rapper Gunplay on Sunday (August 20) for allegedly pointing a gun at his wife and child. Moreover, the incident of domestic violence has gotten a bit more context in the days since, with his partner Vonshae Taylor-Morales announcing plans to divorce and move forward with charges. On Thursday (August 24), she gave more details as to his behavior, expressing that she’s been thinking about a split since June of this year. In addition, she addressed a clip of them arguing that many believe relates to the threat in question.

“This entire situation is sickening…..,” Taylor-Morales wrote of Gunplay. “That Live you guys are trying to use as the event is FALSE. That is his studio in our laundry room. Two entire different situations and events. The video game is in our bedroom. Tensions been high in the house, I’ve been fed up with a lot of stuff. I was already looking for a divorce in June. He was begging me not to leave, he said he would do therapy and I tried it. He went to one session and never did it again.

Gunplay’s Wife Gives Updates On The Situation

“Do you guys understand how unhinged he was to break a porcelain sink after I left!!!!” she continued. “If he didn’t do anything and I’m ‘exaggerating’ why the hell did he reach out to a lawyer asking for a bond in the midst of all this drama? That’s a innocent person? He in jail contacting my friends and family trying to have me drop the charges. Now he in jail having HIS friends talk to me and about me online CR*ZY. I hope the justice system doesn’t fail another black woman and child. If they do, he still will NEVER be able to be around me or my child. It doesn’t matter however y’all spin it. Pulling a gun out on your family and then choking a child in the midst is UNACCEPTABLE.”

Meanwhile, Taylor-Morales now has a restraining order against him and is in the divorce process as of writing this article. No matter what his attitude is, it’s clear that, for some reason, Brown wants to make that part of his career history a part of his brand and identity. Many criticisms levied against him range from the vague and occasional to the serious and systemic. Of course, a big example is his attacking of Rihanna, but other examples of alleged mistreatment, colorism, and controversial statements also came up.

Furthermore, the “Summer Too Hot” star is intent on proving the haters “wrong” by boasting the fact that he’s still an industry titan. Recently, Chris Brown took to Instagram to share a slightly cringe-inducing Instagram Story on this topic for no reason other than he simply can. “WEIRDOS: didn’t we cancel Chris Brown?” he wrote on a black background. “Me: IM STILL ALIVE.”

Chris Brown Declares Himself Un-Cancelable

After some outlets covered the post on social media, the comments split themselves into camps of defense and scolding. “Can we normalize people making mistakes and LEARNING from them?!” one user posited. “People grow and change. Is it hard to subscribe to the notion that Chris has CHANGED?! Some of you probably still hold on to being teased in Kindergarten. Seek therapy and do not project your nonsense.” However, some would argue that Chris Brown hasn’t showed that growth, in large part because of his dismissal of everything after so long. “Um does cancel mean murder now?” one commenter wrote. “I stopped listening to him years ago but I don’t care if other people want to continue to listen to his music. Charleston White Labels Blueface The “Modern-Day Ike Turner”

Charleston White has called out Blueface for his treatment of Chrisean Rock and labeled him “the modern-day Ike Turner.” The Texas native discussed Blueface and Rock’s relationship in a lengthy video on his Instagram page, earlier this week. Blueface ended up firing back in a comment on a repost of the clip by No Jumper.

“There’s no other musician. There is no other artists who I see fill the shoes of an abusive lover, who exploits the woman he’s having children by,” White said of Blueface. Ike Turner married Tina Turner in the early 1960s while they performed as a duo. In 2018, Tina reflected on his abusive behavior in her memoir, Tina Turner: My Love Story.

Jonathan Majors is still grappling with the allegations of domestic violence against him. The actor’s recent arrest has caused a stir in the entertainment industry. Law enforcement confirmed that his girlfriend is the alleged victim in the case that began his problems. According to sources, the couple had an argument while traveling in a taxi. Majors’ girlfriend reportedly saw another woman’s message on his phone, resulting in a confrontation. Reports indicate that Majors responded with physical aggression when his girlfriend attempted to view the alleged text messages on his device. Reportedly, he slapped her and placing his hands around her neck.

On Saturday morning, March 25, law enforcement was called to the Chelsea area in Manhattan, and Majors’ girlfriend was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital by authorities due to visible injuries on her face and body. Majors’ lawyers have shared purported messages from the woman that they claim will exonerate the actor if they are genuine. Despite this, people seem to be distancing themselves from him. He has now been dropped from several projects, and it would appear that more victims are coming forward to assist in the case against him.

Majors’ Victims Cause Major Shakeup

According to insiders that have spoken to Variety, several purported victims of Majors’ alleged abuse have stepped forward and are collaborating with the Manhattan DA office in the aftermath of his arrest in March. If more women are able to provide evidence against Majors, it would be a significant development in the case. It’s already not looking good for the actor. This new development Majors’ publicists and management company have severed ties with him. Additionally, Majors was also told that it was not a good idea for him to attend the Met Gala.

Jonathan Majors has also been dropped from several major projects that he was due to appear in, including an Otis Redding biopic and an MLB ad. Marvel has not yet dropped the actor, and it appears they don’t have plans to do so until there is a more clear picture of the events that have transpired. In a statement, Major’s lawyer said, “Jonathan Majors is innocent and has not abused anyone. Kiely Williams, best known as a member of the Cheetah Girls, continued to call out Chris Brown on Twitter, Friday night. The two artists have been going back and forth on social media for days. The interactions began when Williams criticized Chlöe Bailey for working with Brown, who has faced numerous allegations of abuse over the years. Brown fired back on his Instagram Story afterward.

“Let him come out with his own record—so genius, so captivating that it makes us all forget HE BEATS WOMEN. He can’t so he wont. So what does he do?” she wrote when quote-tweeting Bailey. “He slowly creeps back into the mainstream by getting small nods for features on Black Women’s merit. Black women who are more talented, more worthy, but give him the okay.” She also added: “I am swatting the fucking air rn. Garbage.”

Brown fired back in a series of posts on his Instagram Story, starting with a selfie captioned, “The face I make right before I go all Team Breezy on the haters.” From there, he wrote: “Obviously you are at a point in your life where either you are very broke or broken. The fact you think you have to speak negatively about me makes u look so lame…your life and career must suck right now..minding your business wouldve [sic] been best..but I guess you don’t have a business or a real job that makes u financially stable. I feel more embarrassed for you and your actual maturity.”

Later, Brown compared the response to his alleged actions to that of Blueface and Chrisean Rock: “If yall still hate me for a mistake I made as a 17 year old please kiss my whole entire ass! Im fucking 33! Im so tired of yall running wit this narrative..you weird ass nas are the same ones that tune in every week to see Blueface and Chrisean beat the fuck out each other in front the world. But thats OK? It’s entertainment? All yall can suck my dick disrespectfully. Where are the cancel culture with these white artist that date underage women, beat the fuck out their wives, giving bitches AIDS, oh. That’s right..they are your buddies😏 No more fake love from me..stay out my way or get ran over simple as that. None of you and mean none of you nas can fuck wit me.”

On Friday night, one Twitter user wrote that Chris Brown is getting “pressed” while referring to Kiely Williams as a Cheetah Girl. “And not even one of the famous ones,” Williams’ joked in response before adding, “I know his PR team is mad,” in another tweet.

Chris Brown Called Out For Abuse Of Karrueche Tran

Chris Brown recently faced even more social media backlash for his abuse and harassment of former partner Karrueche Tran. Furthermore, these attacks came after the singer exploded on Instagram, criticizing critics of his past violence against his ex Rihanna. However, many pointed out that his actions form into a repeated pattern of mistreatment. Moreover, the court issued a five year restraining order against Brown in Tran’s favor back in 2017. Their case stemmed from occasions when he threatened her with violence when they broke up, and beat her previously.

“It’s funny how Chris Brown always forgets to mention how he abused and harassed Karrueche to a point where she had to get a restraining order on him,” one person tweeted. “It’s not about one singular thing it’s your whole history of abuse.” Also, other users acknowledged that this is a much less known-about case than Brown’s actions against Rihanna. “People who defend Chris Brown, only bring up Rihanna & how she forgave him. They never mention the restraining order with Karrueche Tran. Him throwing her downstairs, punching her in the stomach & harassment, his colorist or holding a woman hostage with a gun etc. Says a lot.”

Furthermore, one Twitter user in particular had a lengthy statement on their acknowledgement of Brown’s actions from a fan perspective. “What Rihanna decided after CB abused her should have nothing to do with where your integrity, morals, and beliefs stand. Victims of DV tend to forgive/go back to their abusers often. Also that wasn’t a one and done. CB was hell on wheels after that. Ask Karrueche Tran about that restraining order that was granted to 5 yrs. Ask dark skinned women, ask the folks at GMA.
