Nike Air Max 90 Hit With Familiar “Icons” Colorway

One of the best Air Max shoes to ever come out would have to be the Nike Air Max 90. Overall, this is a shoe that is close to 35 years old at this point. It came out all the way back in 1990 and it was designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield. Although it may not be everyone’s favorite Air Max, it certainly has earned its place amongst some of the best shoes ever created. Even in 2023, this remains a shoe that a lot of people revere while also rocking on a daily basis. This just speaks to its timelessness.

Throughout 2023, this shoe has not received a ton of teasers. Moreover, it hasn’t even received all that much love. In 2020, this was the opposite as the shoe celebrated a birthday. Since that time, however, new colorways have been few and far between. Although, it seems like Jumpman is looking to change this. They have a new “Icons” collection which pays homage to the Nike Air Max 97 “Silver Bullet.” The Nike Air Max 90 will be part of this collection, and we can see the official images, below.

This shoe definitely resembles the aforementioned “Silver Bullet” offering. This is thanks to the mixture of silver, red, and black. Firstly, the shoe opens up with some silver mesh on the toe box. Secondly, silver leather overlays adorn the sides and while a red Nike swoosh comes into the fray. Lastly, the inner lining of the shoe and the tongue have some black, which is also found on the outsole and back heel. It all comes together nicely, and we’re sure fans of the silhouette will approve.

At this current time, the sneaker does not have a release date. However, if should be coming out this Summer for a price of $130 USD. If you love the Nike Air Max 90, you should definitely consider adding these to your collection. Let us know what you think, in the comments section below.
