Kehlani Overcame Her ‘Natural Shyness’ To Perform A Captivating Tiny Desk Concert
With her/their new album Crash out, Kehlani is back in the limelight and making the rounds — which this album cycle, includes NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concerts series. The Bay Area singer’s fourth album came out in the year of what she calls her “luckiest number,” but fans are truly the lucky ones, as Kehlani’s Tiny Desk Concert showcased the full range of their prodigious talents.
Kehlani and their band put on a one-of-a-kind show, for sure, but for fans who feel that just watching from a screen isn’t enough, the singer has announced the dates of their Crash World Tour, which begins September 4 in Minneapolis with opening acts Anycia and FLO. Lil Yachty Wished He ‘Never Spoke On’ Drake And Kendrick Lamar’s Rap Beef
In the aftermath of Drake’s big beef with Kendrick Lamar, it’d be easy to forget that it all started with Future and Metro Boomin paving the way with their joint album, We Don’t Trust You, and its standout track, “Like That.” Lots of other rappers jumped in to voice their thoughts on Drake, not just Kendrick, and it led to one of his few remaining supporters, Lil Yachty, saying, “Drake was deemed a loser in this battle before it started, because people don’t like him.”
However, now Yachty appears to regret saying even that much. Appearing on the Flagrant podcast with Andrew Schulz, Yachty said, “I just wish I had never spoke on it. I wish I hadn’t said anything about it.” While the show’s hosts didn’t give him a chance to elaborate — because podcast hosts aren’t journalists and these in particular are… yeah — it sounds like Yachty’s about as fed up with hearing about the beef as Drake is.

While Drake seemingly waved the white flag after the exchange of diss tracks between the two quickly became one-sided, Kendrick fans have continued fanning the flames, crafting browser games about the feud, which even appeared as a clue on Jeopardy!. I’m sure Yachty would like to be asked about just about anything else, such as his new song with Ian, “Hate Me.” Well, almost anything: He seemed reluctant to discuss the departure of Karrahbooo from his Concrete Boys crew.

PnB Rock’s Fiancee Recalls Rapper’s “Heroic” Final Moments During Trial Testimony
PnB Rock’s fiancée, Stephanie Sibounheuang, detailed the final moments leading up to his death while on the witness stand in the murder trial for Freddie Trone and Tremont Jones on Tuesday. In doing so, she accused Trone’s 17-year-old son of being the shooter and described Rock’s actions as “heroic.” Authorities claim Jones provided Trone with Rock’s whereabouts, which led to Trone instructing his son to go into the restaurant and commit the robbery.
“He came to our table right away. I thought it was a fan asking for a picture until I saw the gun,” Sibounheuang recalled, as caught by Rolling Stone. “He said, ‘If you don’t give me the jewelry, I’m going to blow her head off. He had the gun on my man’s face, on it, touching it.” From there, she detailed how Rock tried to shield her from the gunfire. She added: “He got shot, and he like pushed me to the wall and threw me under the table. The (gunman) just kept shooting. I was telling him, ‘Stop shooting him, are you trying to kill him?’” Speaking about the trial outside of the courtroom, she reiterated: “He’s heroic. He’s a hero. [Other men] would never.”

It’s not the first time Sibounheuang has described Rock as a hero. Reflecting on what would’ve been the rapper’s 32nd birthday last December, she wrote on social media: “You’re a legend and not only that… but a hero. I’m forever yours and forever loyal to you. I will live my life to the fullest because you gave your life for me. Thank you Lord for carrying us through a whole year and every day after this.”

Fans have been eager to hear Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s album Vultures 2 for quite a while, and finally, it looks like they won’t have to wait much longer. Today, a message on the Yeezy website revealed the project’s release date. “VULTURES 2 COMING AUGUST 2ND,” it reads simply. Of course, this news has prompted mixed reactions from fans, as they’ve been let down in the past.
Originally, the sequel to Vultures was slated for release in March, which came and went with no album in sight. In April, Ye said it would be dropping in May, which also didn’t happen. It’s to be seen whether or not the duo will stick to their schedule this time around, though social media users aren’t too convinced they will.

Over the last several months, Latto and Sexyy Red have been pitted against each other online. Many outsiders have felt that the two leading ladies in hip-hop possess some sort of hatred for each other. This belief seemingly began back in October, shortly after working on the same remix, that being Young Nudy’s “Peaches & Eggplants” single. A video of Latto, her sister, and some friends made the rounds as they were all rocking True Religion jeans. Sexyy Red then seemingly took a subliminal shot at her, saying “All these celebrities wasn’t wearing @truereligion until @sexyyred came out 
”. However, just one day after the speculation, the Hood Hottest Princess put all of that to bed, “Definitely not shading her I’m direct wit it whatever I gotta say”.
Then, late last month, the “Get It Sexyy” hitmaker had to once again shut down any beef rumors. Her little sister tried to push that Latto was once again copying her older sibling musically this time. Red stepped in, “I didn’t say nun about this girl period. To essentially retire any possible remaining arguments that these two have it out for one another, Latto and Sexyy Red were enjoying a crazy night out at a dinner party.

According to AllHipHop, the two were twerking up a storm while “Get It Sexyy” was blasting at the restaurant. Flo Milli and Latto’s sister were the other notable girlies joining them, as a separate video shows them being goofy by making a TikTok inspired by a popular sound.
