Baby Jamo’s Bond Denied Following Crash Into Capitol Building Barricade

Last week, it was reported that Baby Jamo was arrested after the up-and-coming D.C. rapper crashed a car into a barricade near the U.S. Capitol Building. He was driving a stolen vehicle alongside an associate, Onosetale Okojie. As one can imagine, this has resulted in quite a few criminal charges for the two of them. They’re being charged with “carrying a pistol without a license, unauthorized use of a vehicle, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property of $1,000 or more, possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device, fleeing from a law enforcement,” and more, per Fox 5.

Police spotted the two 20-year-old men stopped at a green light, and attempted to pull them over out of suspicion that the driver was impaired. They sped away, hitting the barricade in the process. Following the collision, both of them ran from police. Eventually, each of them were caught separately by officers. Authorities claim they found a gun in a nearby flowerbed, which they suspect was dropped there by one of them. They found another gun in the passenger seat of the vehicle. Police report that the vehicle in question was a white Infiniti Q50.

Baby Jamo’s Recent Court Appearance

Baby Jamo was denied bond during a court appearance last week, meaning he’ll remain behind bars for now. “This is just another example of our officers and their vigilance and perseverance putting away dangerous criminals,” Capitol police Assistant Chief Sean Gallagher said of the arrest. “They are constantly working to keep everyone safe throughout the Capitol Complex.”

Baby Jamo’s not the only artist caught up in some legal trouble as of late, however. ASAP Rocky’s also currently embroiled in a court battle against ASAP Relli, who accuses him of shooting at him and threatening his life in 2021. What do you think of Baby Jamo’s bond getting denied? Michael Jordan Reacts To Talladega Crash: Video

Michael Jordan flipped the entire NASCAR world on its head when the NBA legend became a team owner. Along with current NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin, Jordan created the 23XI team. The Toyota-based team has had some early success. As Tyler Reddick has taken the #45 to victory lane already this season. However, this past Sunday, the team looked to have another great chance to visit victory lane. But a late incident cost Jordan’s #23 driver, Bubba Wallace, a victory at Talladega.

Talladega is known as one of the more intimidating tracks that NASCAR visits every season. The track is known for high speeds and vicious crashes. This past Sunday seemed to continue that legacy for the track. On the final lap, Wallace was leading the pack. But a hard-charging Ryan Blaney was attempting to make the final lap pass on his good friend Wallace. Wallace tried his hardest to block the faster Blaney from making the move, then it happened. The late block attempt by Wallace caused a fleet of cars to end up in the last lap carnage. Jordan was in attendance for the big race. But the team owner was less than thrilled with the outcome.

Michael Jordan Frustrated Over Talladega Finish

A heartbreaking ending to a rather frustrating day for 23XI. Wallace was mere moments from earning his second win at Talladega. However, in the end, it was Kyle Busch that came out unscathed and victorious. Jordan was visibly upset with the finish of the race. But sometimes, these outcomes are inevitable. After the race, Wallace shared no ill will toward Blaney. Including taking the blame for the start of the incident. Wallace wasn’t the only 23XI driver involved in a crash on Sunday. Reddick had a bizarre crash when attempting to enter the pits early on in the race.

Sunday wasn’t the best ending for Jordan and his team. However, being one of the top cars in the final lap of Talladega is still an incredible performance by Wallace. Jordan’s arrival in NASCAR has changed the entire landscape of the sport. As Jordan’s fans have begun migrating over to following his team. In just a short time, Jordan has made his team one of the most financially stable teams in the sport. Does Michael Jordan’s involvement in NASCAR make you interested in watching the sport? Charli XCX Explains Why She Actually Loves The Unfortunate Nickname Cardi B Gave Her

Charli XCX is gearing up for a massive album release, with her fifth record, Crash, just around the corner. The project drops on March 18 and has been preceded by a whole slew of excellent singles, including “Good Ones,” a collaboration with Caroline Polachek and Christine and the Queens called “New Shapes,” her more recent collab with Rina Sawayama, “Beg For You,” and the latest single “Baby.”

She performed those last two on SNL this weekend, and has been on a bit of a press blitz in these last few days leading up to the album’s release. One stop on the endless press tours to promote new music is always The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and on her most recent appearance Charli and Jimmy discussed a funny story involving another of Atlantic Records’ biggest stars — Cardi B herself. Apparently, Charli had already told Jimmy the tale of when she, Bebe Rexha and Rita Ora collaborated with Cardi — all virtually — for the group song “Girls,” and how starstruck Charli was to be involved with Cardi, who she loves.

The only problem? When it came time for Cardi to promote the song and video, she shared the wrong name Charli… she called her “Charli STD” instead. But because it’s Cardi, Charli actually had no issues with the unsavory nickname. Sharing a bit of the interview in a clip on Instagram, Charli tagged Cardi and let her know she thinks the title rather iconic. “Charli std reporting for duty thank you @fallontonight & @jimmyfallon for having me and thank u @iamcardib for creating this iconic piece of Twitter history – i love you,” she wrote.

Check out the interview above and keep an ear out for that new Charli album!
