It’s no secret that Blueface’s mother Karlissa Saffold says some wild things online, and today was certainly no exception. Recently, the reality star took to her Instagram Story to reveal what she plans to do when she inevitably becomes rich, and it isn’t exactly what one would expect. Instead of dreaming of things like fancy cars and designer goods, Saffold says she wants to put her money toward a good cause.

“I’m about to get so rich that I buy back them souls from the Illuminati,” she wrote simply. Saffold didn’t provide her followers with many more details than that, so it remains unclear whose souls she plans to rescue, or what she would do with them. For obvious reasons, her claim has confused fans and left them with a few questions.

“How you do that?” one Instagram user asks in the Hollywood Unlocked comments section. Another says, “That’s very thoughtful of her.” While it looks like fans will just have to wait and see what Saffold means, she’s closer than ever to her riches, as she’s about to be part of an upcoming Zeus Network series. She’s expected to star in the show alongside Blac Chyna’s mother Tokyo Toni and Rick Ross’ ex Tia Kemp, which will surely make for some quality entertainment.

Last weekend, CEO of Zeus Lemuel Plummer teased the show with a playful Instagram clip. Moreover, Lil Bibby recently posted a picture of him in the gym with a Cuban chain and a watch on, which the two MCs found to be a pretty comical and cumbersome fit. “N***a ain’t never taking off that cuban [crying-laughing emoji],” the Atlanta rapper commented under his Instagram post, whereas the Chicago spitter had this to say: “Bro f**k is you steady wearing big a** chains & pateks to the gym for? Go to the club or sum [crying-laughing emojis].” “gotta wear da s**t somewhere [red drop emoji],” Bibby responded to the “Neph Nem” artist.

However, this is honestly much better press than what Lil Bibby’s been used to these days, especially if you’re a Juice WRLD fan. For example, fans have repeatedly accused him of selling the late Chicago creative’s catalog, claims which he denied, and of overall mismanaging his legacy as an artist after his tragic passing. When calamities like this strike the hip-hop world, it’s always very difficult to know how to move forward. When they strike musicians as beloved, influential, and successful as Juice, the pressure mounts even higher.

Now, Blue’s grandmother Tina Knowles spoke out on the matter during a recent interview with Vogue‘s The Run Through podcast. Specifically, she revealed some interesting aspects of the advice that Queen Bey gave her daughter when it comes to dealing with negative attention and a lot of scrutiny.

Furthermore, Tina Knowles began by remarking on how blown away she and Jay-Z were by Blue Ivy’s dancing performance during the “My Power” and “Black Parade” cuts of the RENAISSANCE tour. She called her moves “the best” and recalled how “every night, her dad and me would get on this platform out there and we would just be screaming our heads off, like, with no shame at all.” Of course, some of the negativity towards Blue hampered this otherwise glowing family reception, which must have been somewhat of a blow. “One of her friends came back and showed her some negative comments and it was a great life lesson,” Tina Knowles said of Blue Ivy and Beyoncé. “Because her mom basically said, ‘Listen, if you let this get you down, then they won. So you should go and work harder. And, you know, just work harder and get your skills together and go out there and blast it.’ So it actually worked in Blue’s favor because she was only supposed to do it one time. But now her mom was, that mama bear was on to it. It was like, she was like, ‘You go out there and kill it,’ and she did. She just grew so much from that experience.”

Meanwhile, Beyoncé had previously revealed during the RENAISSANCE tour documentary that Blue Ivy advocated hard for herself to stay on the show after what was supposed to be just one performance. “She told me she was ready to perform, and I told her no,” the Houston superstar stated. This part of the film also centered around how devastating the negative comments could feel at times. On it, K-Dot made it clear that he wasn’t messing around, declaring that he hates everything about Drake, from the way he walks to the way he talks, dresses, and more. The chilling track continues to stand out as one of the most effective of their feud, serving as a response to Drake’s “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle.”

Now, one of the producers behind “Euphoria,” Cardo, has opened up about his experience working alongside both Kendrick and Drake. During a recent interview with Kids Take Over, he also shared his take on the viral beef. According to him, he’s not surprised that Kendrick challenged Drake and went after him as hard as he did, as he previously knew him as a competitive guy. Moreover, he thinks the lyrical battle was a positive thing for the genre, and has respect for both artists.

Of course, the song was arguably outshined by the subsequent release of Kendrick’s DJ Mustard-produced track “Not Like Us,” which is now a fan favorite from the feud. Rich Paul is proven to be a guy who can make things happen in the NBA. He is probably the most powerful agent in basketball, and his partnership with LeBron James is well-documented. Mase asked straight up how Rich Paul plans to get Bronny and Bron on the same team. Rich Paul promptly answered, “I don’t.” Mase and his co-host Cam’Ron both chuckled at the answer. Paul then described the situation, describing LeBorn and Bronny’s father-son relationship mixed in with their respective NBA journeys. He says you can’t act like nepotism doesn’t exist, but Bronny is being asked to apologize for his father’s success.

Additionally, Paul says LeBron has built a legacy that has now transitioned into business, and that is rare, and to expect Bronny to apologize for his lineage is hypocritical when looking at the history of black Americans. Rich The Kid is the midst of pretty big comeback. The Queens, New York rapper is still riding high off being on one of the biggest records of 2024. That of course is “CARNIVAL” off VULTURES 1. For some, the track came and went. But there is no denying that it was being played everywhere at the time of its release. Now, we are gearing up for Rich The Kid to make his solo return possibly sometime this summer with Life’s a Gamble.

After some pretty underwhelming projects, namely BOSS MAN and Trust Fund Babies, it is clear that he is going big or going home on his third album. Ty Dolla $ign and Kanye West are the executive producers and rumors say there will be a crazy number of features. One of those we know now, as Peso Pluma makes an appearance on “Gimme A Second.” This one of two singles that Rich has put out, with the long-awaited “Band Man” being released in unison.

Both tracks do not really stand out from a lyrical perspective, even though Rich has never been seen as a wordsmith. But where both singles shine are production wise, perhaps to no surprise. DJ Durel, “Gimme A Second”, and d.a. got that dope, “Band Man”, both lay down some tight trap instrumentals. Each one has a distinctive vibe and overall carry the tracks. However, we have to give credit to Peso Pluma, as he does bring an animated performance.

It’s no surprise that his answer made waves as he seemed surprisingly unconcerned with the high-profile back and forth. “While Taylor Swift is fighting for people to be able to have streaming money, n*ggas on the internet arguing with each other about some rap sh*t. So that’s how I feel about it,” he originally replied.

Now in a new interview he’s explaining why he said that. “It was a live-streamed event, so someone had to be filming the live-streamed event on their computer. And then pages that are dedicated to the city and to people, cut out every question that these children asked about trying to stay alive in this environment that’s had over a hundred shootings in the first four months,” he begins. “So if I say plainly, no one cares about anybody else, then I look crazy. But I’m speaking to children. So my thing is am I supposed to look at a child who just asks those questions and say, ‘Yeah, I want one of these n*ggas to kill each other lyrically’?
