Pink-haired Kim Kardashian Gets Compared to Ye’s Wife Bianca Censori in Latest Look on IG

Pink-haired Kim Kardashian Gets Compared to Ye’s Wife Bianca Censori in Latest Look on IG

Kim Kardashian’s latest hairstyle has sparked some observers’ sense of déjà vu. Known for her ever-evolving style, the 43-year-old SKIMS founder showcased a fresh look on her Instagram, sporting a short pink haircut paired with an all-black ensemble.

However, the striking resemblance to her ex-husband Ye’s wife, 29-year-old Bianca Censori, hasn’t gone unnoticed. Social media users were quick to draw comparisons, pointing out similarities in lighting, background, expression, and the short hairstyle.

Despite their apparent similarities, Censori and Kardashian maintain a cordial relationship. They were recently photographed standing next to each other at Ye’s Vultures 2 listening party in San Francisco.

Meanwhile, recent events have brought Ye into the spotlight for a different reason. An LAPD investigation was initiated after the 46-year-old rapper allegedly punched an unidentified man who purportedly assaulted Censori at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

Ye provided his perspective on the incident during an interview with Justin Laboy for his podcast “The Download.” Describing the altercation, Ye recounted how he intervened after learning of the incident from his wife. Despite attempts to resolve the situation peacefully, Ye ultimately took matters into his own hands, ensuring the perpetrator left the premises.

Anyway, back to those Kim K-Bianca Censori comparisons. Here are the pics from Kim’s IG. You can be the judge.

Ne-Yo’s “2 Million Secrets” Receives Praise from Girlfriend for Addressing Infidelity

NE-YO Delivers Medley of Hits During NPR Tiny Desk Performance

Renowned R&B artist Ne-Yo, celebrated for his soulful melodies and heartfelt lyrics, recently unveiled a raw and introspective track titled “2 Million Secrets.” However, what makes this release particularly noteworthy is the candid acknowledgment of personal struggles, specifically regarding infidelity, which has earned him a commendation from his girlfriend.

In the song, Ne-Yo delves into the complexities of relationships and the consequences of his actions. He confronts the pain caused by his infidelity, openly admitting to his transgressions. Through poignant lyrics and emotive delivery, he navigates the turmoil of betrayal and the subsequent journey toward redemption.

What sets “2 Million Secrets” apart is its unfiltered honesty. NE-YO doesn’t shy away from his mistakes but embraces them with a sense of accountability. This transparency resonates deeply with his audience and his girlfriend, who has publicly praised him for his courage in addressing such a sensitive topic.

In an era where vulnerability is often perceived as weakness, Ne-Yo’s willingness to confront his shortcomings is a testament to his character. By acknowledging his flaws and striving for growth, he exemplifies the importance of taking ownership of one’s actions, no matter how difficult it may be.

Ne-Yo’s girlfriend, moved by his sincerity, took to social media to express her admiration. In a heartfelt post, she commended him for his bravery in sharing his truth with the world. She emphasized the significance of accountability in relationships and applauded NE-YO for leading by example.

Beyond its musical merits, “2 Million Secrets” reminds us of the power of art to inspire introspection and dialogue. Ne-Yo’s willingness to confront uncomfortable truths through his music fosters empathy and understanding among listeners. His vulnerability becomes a source of strength, empowering others to confront their struggles with honesty and resilience.

The Best Hip-Hop Albums Of April 2024

The RX is Uproxx Music’s stamp of approval for the best albums, songs, and music stories throughout the year. Inclusion in this category is the highest distinction we can bestow, and signals the most important music being released throughout the year. The RX is the music you need, right now.

For the second monthly installment of The Best Hip-Hop Albums, we had to dig a little deeper than we did in March, thanks in part to fewer releases overall. However, while there were fewer albums from established, well-known acts, plenty of up-and-coming artists took the opportunity to stake their claims on gaining a foothold in the public consciousness.

Thanks to Drake and Kendrick Lamar, it was an uphill battle. While Kendrick’s contribution to their ongoing feud didn’t arrive until the end of the month, Drake’s antics were more than enough to keep us all at our favorite digital water coolers, discussing his distasteful use of AI, and whether he still has the juice to survive another confrontation with a lyrical heavyweight with a longer history of critical support.

But even with those two sucking up all the oxygen, there were still plenty of new releases worth checking out if beef wasn’t your thing. Here are the best hip-hop albums of April 2024.

Anycia — Princess Pop That

Anycia

The Atlanta newcomer got plenty of attention thanks to Latto’s verse on “Back Outside,” but Anycia’s first-ever mixtape bears more than enough proof that she’s bigger than beef. Her herky-jerky flow, smoky vocal timbre, and unabashed bluntness are versatile enough to tackle both boisterous boasts and unfiltered heartbreak, while the choice of production keeps the energy level high through all 14 tracks.

Future & Metro Boomin — We Still Don’t Trust You

future x metro boomin we still don't trust you cover
Future / Metro Boomin

The second half of Future & Metro’s double disc project focuses more on the singing than the rapping, so there was a strong argument that this leaves it in Wongo’s territory, but we did include it in the Best New Hip-Hop of the week, so it qualifies for the month. Besides, thanks to contributions from ASAP Rocky, J. Cole, and Lil Baby, it still has more than enough bars for anyone who wants them.

GloRilla — EhhThang EhhThang

glorilla ehhthang ehhthang
GloRilla

Hip-hop can be a lot of things: Angry, menacing, political, and thoughtful. But I think at its core, what people want most from rap music is for it to be fun. GloRilla understands this and aims to feed this impulse directly on her first mixtape since 2020’s independent P Status. The project allays concerns that she might have been just a one-hit wonder with song of the summer potentiates “Wanna Be” featuring Megan Thee Stallion and “Yeah Glo!” while providing introspection on “Aite” and “High AF.” Will you find dizzying feats of virtuoso lyrical gamesmanship here? No. But hip-hop has always been way more than just rappity-rap wordplay and “fight the power” ethos. Sometimes, you just want to turn up. That’s when you turn on GloRilla.

J. Cole — Might Delete Later

j cole might delete later
J. Cole

I also debated not including this one, solely based on Cole’s decision to pull “7 Minute Drill” from DSPs as a sort of self-fulfilling prophecy. Fortunately for him, there are still 11 other solid tracks, including the nostalgic Dipset callback “Ready ’24” and “H.Y.B” with Bas and Central Cee. Intricate wordplay may not be your thing, but Cole’s latest scratches that very specific itch, despite distracting him from following through on his promise to bring The Fall-Off to fruition.

Skilla Baby — The Coldest

Skilla Baby

The Michigan rapper follows up his 2023 collaborative project Controversy with Tee Grizzley with a solid solo effort. The Coldest finds him using his choppy flow to detail his misadventures in the streets with a cool-headed charisma that makes what should be worn-out material sound fresher than ever. A slew of guest stars, from Flo Milli to Rob49, join him on trunk-rattling production, but he never lets anyone steal the spotlight, proving that he’s a star in the making.

Benzino Says R Kelly Deserves A Second Chance, He Shouldn’t “Rot In Jail”

Benzino discussed R Kelly during a recent appearance on the We In Miami Podcast and argued that the disgraced singer deserves a second chance at freedom. Kelly is currently serving 31 years in prison after being convicted of multiple charges of federal racketeering and sex trafficking involving sexual abuse of minors.

“Everyone deserves a second chance. I know that [Elvis Presley], a lot of motherf—-s was f—g with young girls,” Benzino said, as caught by Hollywood Unlocked. From there, he clarified: “I’m not into that. Again. The legal age is 16. So does that make it right if a n—a does it?” When the room responded “no,” he added: “But it’s legal in America. So why is R. Kelly doing all this time? Because you know why? They’re 13, 14, two years younger.” Once again, he reiterated: “I’m not condoning n—s f——g little girls. It’s sick. But I don’t think R Kelly should rot in jail for 30 years either.”

R Kelly Appears In Court For Sexual Assault Case

When the We In Miami Podcast shared the clip on Instagram, fans had mixed responses in the comments section. Many disagreed with Benzino with one remarking: “He met Aaliyah when she was just 12 and married her at 14, nah keep him in there.” Others took his side in the argument. “He’s got a point, why didn’t Elvis get in trouble for moving in that 14 yr old and then marrying her at 16? Nobody cared, but when a black man does it he gets life?” one user asked.

YNW Melly Turns 25: Remembering How Special The “Suicidal Remix” With Juice WRLD Was

YNW Melly remains in a revolving door with the court system over the murder charges he is facing for allegedly k*lling his crewmates Sakchaser and Juvy. A lot of rappers have been showing support for the Gifford, Florida native such as Boosie Badazz and Fredo Bang. But like the Louisiana rapper once said about his case, “When they want you, they want you.” The latest development surrounding this never-ending saga is that prosecutors are trying to incorporate a documentary around the rapper’s rise to fame into the evidence pile. Unfortunately, to a lesser extent, YNW Melly will be celebrating another birthday in handcuffs.

Even though his image may not be at its best right now, we did want to celebrate the rapper and singer’s 25th birthday with a throwback post. One of his favorites of ours has to be the “Suicidal Remix” with Juice WRLD. The four-year-old track sees Melly at his best, which is him being in his melodic bag. This is just the second collaboration we have ever heard between him and the late great emo MC.

Relisten To “Suicidal Remix” By YNW Melly & Juice WRLD

If you did not know, this song was actually teased on the same day that the hip-hop community lost one of its great talents. For us, this gives the song so much more weight and according to Genius, it was just the third posthumous collab for Juice. With the content of the song being about toxic relationships, getting him on a remix was a great idea on Melly’s part. If you want to help wish him a happy birthday, revisit the classic emo rap ballad above.

What are your thoughts on “Suicidal Remix” by YNW Melly and Juice WRLD? Is this the better version of this love cut, why or why not? Where does this rank amongst the rest of Melly’s hit songs? What do you think his fate will be in prison? Do you think him and Juice needed to work together more often? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding YNW Melly and Juice WRLD. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the music world.

Drake Kisses Nicki Minaj At Her Concert

Fans of Nicki Minaj and Drake were treated to a public demonstration of affection this week when Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 Tour stopped in Drizzy’s hometown of Toronto. Following her initial difficulties attempting to enter Canada last month, Nicki performed Tuesday night in front of a sold-out audience at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena. She decided to bring out the city’s most well-known son, Drake, as a surprise guest. They performed “Needle,” off Nicki’s Pink Friday 2 album, which is their most recent joint effort. Before leaving the stage, Drake and Minaj share an intimate moment.

To the pleasure of the audience, Drake gave Nicki an embrace and a big ol’ kiss on the cheek before leaving the stage. As he departed the concert, Nicki Minaj referred to the Toronto artist as “the king of Toronto” and “a legend.” Drizzy is currently in the midst of a vicious rap beef with one Kendrick Lamar. Yesterday, Kendrick released a much-awaited diss track titled “Euphoria” that dissected Drake’s entire career. Drake still found the time for his old label mate Nicki Minaj, even when partaking in a rap feud.

Drake Gives Nicki Minaj A Big Kiss And Loving Embrace

As he said goodbye to the home audience, Drake also seemed to allude to his current battle with Kendrick Lamar. The Toronto MC told Nicki and the crowd, “I love you so much. You know what time it is, you know what I gotta do.” Drizzy seemingly suggests that he is about to put all his attention into crafting a response to Kendrick. He responded to the diss on Instagram by posting a clip from the movie 10 Things I Hate About You.

Drake and Minaj are now involved in rap conflicts. While Minaj has been trading barbs with Megan Thee Stallion, Drizzy is facing off against Kendrick Lamar. Minaj dropped a track dissing the Houston star, and Megan responded with “Hiss.” “Hiss” and “Like That,” Kendrick’s diss on Future’s album, both became mega hits. The question remains if Drake has what it takes to really come out on top of his beef with Kendrick Lamar. Overall, rap beef is good for business. Nicki Minaj and Drake aren’t shying away from beef.

Jay Electronica Posts Drake Song Following Kendrick Lamar’s New Diss Track

Earlier this week, Kendrick Lamar shocked the rap world with the release of “euphoria.” The song took aim at Drake, who had dropped a pair of songs taking shots at Kendrick called “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle” last month. The beef goes all the way back to Kendrick’s guest verse on the Future & Metro Boomin song “Like That” earlier this year. The newest developments have rap fans and even plenty of rap artists themselves reacting. The most recent was Jay Electronica, who didn’t actually say anything. But he made a post that seems to make it obvious which side he’s on.

He took to Twitter overnight to share a link to Drake’s song “Champagne Poetry.” It’s the opening track to Drake’s 2021 album Certified Lover Boy. The song currently sits with over 300 million streams on Spotify, 6th most of any song on Certified Lover Boy. While the album itself was met with some harsh criticism upon release, many fans cited “Champagne Poetry” as a standout moment. Jay Elec seems to agree as it’s the song he chose to post to seemingly endorse Drake in the beef without actually saying it out loud. His tweet has generated less than 2k likes at the time of publishing. Check out his post allegedly taking sides in the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef below.

Jay Electronica Is On Team Drake

Some of the people fans were most interested in reacting to Kendrick’s new song “euphoria” are those mentioned by name. Gunna already shared his reaction to the song but others who are name-dropped in the track like Sexyy Red haven’t been clear on how they feel about it.

What do you think of Jay Electronica tweeting out a Drake song just a day after Kendrick Lamar dropped his new diss track? Do you think he’s attempting to subtly imply that he’s siding with Drake in the beef? Let us know in the comment section below.

Asian Doll Slams JT For Blatantly Copying Her Style In Explosive Rant

If you have not been paying attention JT of the rap duo City Girls lately, you may want to. The Miami, Florida rapper has taken it upon herself to forge a solo career and it has turned out to be a fantastic decision. Her last batch of singles, “Sideways,” “No Bars,” and “OKAY,” have been raking in some solid numbers. She even had a huge feature on Doechii’s recent single “Alter Ego” and she too is one TDE’s brightest stars. So, JT is certainly sitting pretty right now, but Asian Doll has come out of the woodwork to rain on her parade a bit.

The Neighborhood Talk posted a collage of tweets from the Dallas, Texas rapper who is seemingly always at the ready to take shots at someone. Over time, we have seen her go at Kash Doll, Scar Lip, DJ Akademiks, Jada Kingdom, just to name a few. JT is now in her crosshairs once again because Asian Doll is seemingly fed up with her being a copycat. She called her out for flaming her look back in the day but now rocking it after some time has passed.
