Chris Rock And DJ Diplo Hitch Ride With Fans To Escape Burning Man Floods

Over the weekend more than 70,000 people were stuck in the desert at the annual Burning Man festival after torrential rains turned the desert into a giant mud pit.
Comedian Chris Rock and DJ Diplo were rescued after walking five miles until they got picked up by a fan.

Thunderstorms left festival attendees stranded in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert on Saturday, the DJ was determined to show up to his Washington, D.C. show that evening — and a stranger came to both of their rescues.

“A fan offered Chris Rock and I a ride out of Burning Man in the back of a pickup,” the 44-year-old, whose real name is Thomas Wesley Pentz, captioned an Instagram video of their escape.

“I legit walked the side of the road for hours with my thumb out cuz I have a show in dc tonight and didnt want to let yall down,” he wrote, joking that all Rock, 58, “could think about was a f—king cold brew.”

Diplo concluded, “Shoutout to this guy for making the smart purchase of a truck not knowing it was for this exact moment.”

The group hitched a ride with “hippies with a van in the next town” and “negotiat[ed] a deal to give [them] a two-hour ride to the airport.”

“They didn’t believe we would walk six miles in the mud. No one believed we would get to DC for the show tonight,” he captioned a mud-stained selfie. “But God did.

Diplo wrote on his Instagram:

2K has revealed the exciting details of the soundtrack for NBA® 2K24, marking the 25th anniversary of the beloved NBA 2K series and the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. This soundtrack combines legendary songs from the past and present while looking ahead to the genre’s future.

For a quarter-century, NBA 2K has served as a bridge between basketball and hip-hop culture. It has partnered with Grammy-winning artists like Jay-Z, Travis Scott, and J. Cole, setting the industry standard for in-game soundtracks.

The NBA 2K24 soundtrack pays homage to hip-hop with diverse tracks, featuring artists like Lil Uzi Vert, Kodak Black, Lil Wayne, and Baby Keem. This year, the soundtrack will evolve with the addition of classic tracks from Def Jam Recordings, including Warren G’s “This DJ (feat. O.G.L.B.)” and Rick Ross’s “Hustlin”.”

Diddy Will Be Honored With A Special Award During The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (And He’s Performing, Too)

The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards is only a week away from being held in New Jersey on Sept. 12. To get fans excited, they have unveiled some of the major award recipients. One of which is Diddy, who is being honored this year with the Global Icon Award.

The specific award first originated from the MTV Europe Music Awards, with the intent of honoring artists who have achieved worldwide success. (Diddy previously hosted the EMAs back in 2002.)

He will accept the official honor and give a speech during the awards show next week. Additionally, Diddy will perform at the VMAs, marking his grand return to the stage since 2005, according to Variety.

Diddy is nominated for a few other awards this year too, including Best Collaboration and Best R&B for the “Creepin (Remix)” with Metro Boomin, The Weeknd, and 21 Savage. He is also up twice for collaborations, as his “Gotta Move On (Queens Remix)” that features Bryson Tiller, Ashanti, and Yung Miami is also nominated.

Finally, Diddy is up for Best Hip-Hop for the same “Gotta Move On” song is also included. (Votes for these categories have since closed.)

Fans can catch this year’s Video Music Awards at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Sept. 12 airing live from the Prudential Center.

Chrisean Rock Speaks Out After Blueface’s Latest Comments

Chrisean Rock spoke out on X, Tuesday morning, following Blueface’s latest comments about their relationship. She says that the posts are the last time she’ll be speaking about Blueface on social media.

“Stop the bitter shit we kno you dropping another song soon I get it … let me heal fr stop trynna make something about another woman knowing u will Leave her anyday for me [100 emoji],” Rock began in a series of posts. “Yo son will be waiting for his Dadddy to grow tf up … shit hurting you but u can be a man about shit.”

Over the weekend reality TV fans all over the world awaited Blueface’s reaction to Chrisean Rock finally giving birth. Her labor took place on Saturday and she even livestreamed it on Instagram live so that fans could get the updates right as they happened. Blue wasn’t there, he was with his other baby mother Jaidyn Alexis. It took him a few days to craft any public comment whatsoever on the baby’s birth but eventually, he took to Twitter with a thread criticizing Rock for a myriad of reasons.

“Rock is not dumb she’s actually very smart. She manipulated me to think she was all about me till she got in the right position to change the narrative. She did everything for attention. Let’s go over the facts I have 2 kids never was able to record the birth due to hospital rules,” he said in a tweet last night according to HipHop DX. He also added that Chrisean Rock wants to be an actress and is manipulating the public with that goal in mind. “She is manipulating all of us[.] Who puts jewelry on before they go into labor[.] She’s literally a actor that’s her real dream she took acting class all thru college[.] She’s dam near a professional she will get dolled up to go on live an cry whenever she was in the hot seat publicly.”

Blueface Responds To Chrisean Rock’s Baby Name

Blueface’s biggest issue seems to be with the baby’s name. Chrisean made the decision to name the baby after herself, something that the rapper clearly takes issue with. “I actually feel bad for my son at this point he’s a junior to his mom he don’t gotta be named after me but at least put some thought into it that was some quick last minute….what do you want to name him uhm just write down [Chrisean] Malone smh. Should have just named the baby ‘clout’ would have been more meaningful,” his tweet concluded.

Since making the posts Blueface has since deleted all of them. It’s unclear if he plans to take another more composed public statement or wait to address the issue on an episode of Crazy In Love. Megan Thee Stallion’s RIAA Certifications Have Hotties Dissing 1501 Entertainment For Celebrating

It’s no surprise that Megan Thee Stallion’s past releases continue to rack up streams, and now, RIAA Certifications, especially considering it’s been some time since we’ve heard new music from the Houston native. Earlier this month, Carl Crawford’s 1501 Entertainment label celebrated the latest accolades achieved by their former artist. Among them are Platinum certs for “Cash S**t,” “Sex Talk,” and “Sweetest Pie” with Dua Lipa. In addition to that, Thee Stallion’s Traumazine LP has also been acknowledged as Gold by the RIAA.

While it’s nice to see 1501 congratulating the rap diva rather than furthering their beef, some of Thee Hotties couldn’t help but diss Crawford and his team in the comments. “You didn’t do nothing 😂,” one IG user wrote. “But congrats Megan,” they added. A few hours later, the label’s account wrote back, “Didn’t do nothing but invest the 💰 when no one else wanted to 🤷🏽‍♂️.”

1501 Goes Back and Forth with Megan Thee Stallion’s Fans

“I remember when you didn’t want to help her promote that last album,” another fan of Thee Stallion berated Crawford. “She still overcame.” When responding to this, he taunted them, “Ain’t nobody hating, y’all just mad it says 1501 on the credits. Deal with it, it’s never leaving forever lol.” Even amid the legal drama unfolding between him and the 28-year-old, the industry executive seems confident in his ability to come out on top.

When she first returned to the public eye after Tory Lanez was found guilty in late 2022, Megan Thee Stallion made it clear that mental health was more of a priority for her than releasing new music. NBA Youngboy’s Mom Says Her Car Was Stolen Is Houston

It appears that NBA Youngboy’s mother has faced some troubles in Texas. The rapper lives in Utah, where he remains on house arrest and seems to thrive in a more scenic environment. However, his mother lost her vehicle. Sherhonda Gaulden hit the ‘Gram over Labor Day weekend where she revealed that her Trackhawk had been stolen. “Who got my f***king trackhawk,” she wrote, tagging her location in Houston, TX. “If y’all see my car hit me up,” she added.

As expected, Gaulden wasn’t happy about the situation. In a subsequent post, she added, “Y’all must have lost y’all f**cking mind.” Shortly after, she posted a video of the Trackhawk from an NBA Youngboy fan page that added, “If y’all see dis Purple Trackhawk in Houston, Texas DM me or @gaulden.sherhonda.” Since posting, Gaulden hasn’t shared any updates on the vehicle but hopefully, this issue gets resolved soon. It seems as though she had recently picked up the Trackhawk as shown in a video shared on her Instagram page.

Trouble In Texas

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Sherhonda’s dealt with issues in Texas. In early 2022, police raided the home that she lives in (which is under NBA Youngboy’s name), leading to several arrests and seizures. Although it wasn’t clear whether she was at home at the time of the raid, police arrested three individuals. They also found several guns including AR-15s and pistols. The three men were arrested on charges relating to aggravated robbery and aggravated assault.

At the time, police said that the raids were related to a shooting that occurred in November 2021. They explained that a man was shot in his head and body but fortunately, recovered and was later released from the hospital, according to TMZ reports. This episode related to the Trackhawk is yet another issue that Gaulden has unfortunately faced since moving to Houston. We’ll keep you posted on any further updates related to the issue. Dillon Danis Rips Nina Agdal For Her Body Count, Takes Shots At Mike Majlak’s Past Addiction Issues

Dillon Danis has been on a rampage on social media as of late. Overall, he has been taking numerous shots at Logan Paul’s fiancee, Nina Agdal. The model has been with a lot of famous men, and Danis is taking advantage of that by posting photos of her with these men. In his eyes, this is some sort of psychological warfare that is going to make Logan want to drop out of the fight. Moreover, Danis believes it will make Logan break off his engagement.

Yesterday, Danis continued to make things personal, although this time, he went after Logan’s friend, Mike Majlak. In a photo posted to Twitter, Majlak speaks on his bodybuilding endeavors and how he is 260 pounds. Danis responded to this saying, “Crazy Mike weighs less than Nina’s body count.” Subsequently, Majlak wrote: “bro how can you be training if you’re tweeting all day i knowwww you’re gonna use all this X revenue for that pullout clause payment.”

Dillon Danis Vs. Mike Majlak

From there, Danis made things extremely personal and downright disrespectful. “You’re literally Logan Paul’s cumrag,” Danis wrote. “Shut your mouth before I bully you so bad you start taking heroine again.” Mike Majlak has been open and honest about his struggles with addiction. Consequently, he fired back at Danis in a serious tone. “Yes dillon i did have an opiate problem 13 years ago like many Americans sadly do,” he began. “It is an ever-growing issue that doesn’t get enough attention. I am proud of myself for overcoming it and acting as an inspiration to the millions who still suffer.”

Things are getting to a very uncomfortable place at this point, and that probably will not slow down.
