SZA’s ‘SOS’ Spends Tenth Week At No. 1 On The ‘Billboard’ 200 Chart

Lizzo declared 2023 would be the year of SZA, and it looks like she may be right. Not only did news break today (February 26), that the singer’s sophomore album, SOS, earned nearly 3 billion streams on Spotify, but it also is celebrating its tenth week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

When the album first reached the top of the charts, the recording artist took to Twitter to post about what the professional accomplishment meant to her. “I appreciate every milestone and accolade but this? As a writer means so f*cking much to me. I aspire to be a better writer every day. Thank you. Wow,” she wrote.

Last month, SZA joined Adele and Taylor Swift as the only women artists to have an album spend at least seven weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 this century.

Meanwhile, SZA is currently on her album’s supporting tour with featured guest Grammy Award-nominated singer Omar Apollo. View the remaining tour dates below.

NAACP Image Awards Red Carpet: Zendaya Slays In Vintage Versace

Some of the biggest award ceremonies of the year have already gone down, including the Grammys and the BRITs. Thankfully, there are still plenty of red carpet looks coming our way with the Oscars quickly approaching and tonight’s SAG Awards. On Saturday (February 25), Hollywood was a busy place as well, thanks to the annual NAACP Image Awards.

Hosted by Queen Latifah, this year’s ceremony paid tribute to some of the greatest Black talents in the industry. Athlete Serena Williams was honoured with the Jackie Robinson Sports Award. Elsewhere, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union gave a heartfelt speech after receiving the President’s Award. The show itself was undeniably heartwarming, but what really had viewers talking was the red carpet.

Zendaya’s Iconic Red Carpet Return

Each and every attendee stepped out in their best-dressed, but one rose above them all to steal the show – Zendaya. For her first carpet of the season, the Euphoria actress broke necks in her stunning vintage Versace gown. Bright electric green strips of fabric draw in the eye on her chest and throughout the skirt, reminding fans how refined her style truly is.

Of course, she couldn’t spend the evening sporting just one dress. When it was time for her to take the stage inside, Zendaya had changed into another throwback piece – a decades-old Prada look that found her channelling supermodel Yasmeen Ghauri. Both looks, styled by Law Roach, clearly have social media in a chokehold today.

Iggy Azalea Details Weird OnlyFans Requests, Continues Her Thirst Trap Streak

Lately, Iggy Azalea has been making nothing short of big boss moves. In an astounding eight-figure deal, she sold a portion of her recording masters. Elsewhere, her venture into the adult world of OnlyFans is said to be bringing in plenty of cash as well. While some celebrities stay private about their choice to sell content on the adult site, the mother of one has been loud and proud about promoting her page.

After being on tour with Pitbull for some time, the Australian has had time to sit down for interviews once again recently. Of course, fans are dying to know all about her “spicy site.” Thankfully, she’s been happy to tell all to hosts like Andy Cohen and Emily Ratajkowski. While speaking with the former on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, she specifically spoke about some of the strangest requests that have come in so far from her subscribers.

Odd OnlyFans Inquiries

“They’ll send me like six hundred dollars just to send a voice note. Like, ‘I’d never suck your disgusting little f*cking d*ck! Is that even a d*ck? I wouldn’t even let my dog lick that d*ck,’” she laughed with the host earlier this month. Apparently, other users have also sent her money for simply calling them a “piece of shit.” Azalea says that it’s a game she’s become quite fond of playing in bed at night, getting paid to insult men while they send her hundreds.

She went on to tell Cohen, “‘They’ll be like, ‘Goddess Iggy. Please, please, please, please. I know that you don’t have time for my tiny little thing, but please can you just tell me what you think about it?’” In response to messages like this, the “Work” hitmaker reveals she demands $50 from the men for having her time tasted after insulting the size of their manhood. “And don’t you f*cking message me again unless you give me fifty dollars next time,’” she reportedly tells them afterward.

Can’t Stop Won’t Stop

In her aforementioned interview with EmRata, Azalea also dished about her OnlyFans account. She told the model that before, record labels and others on her team were profiting off her body more than she was. Now, the power is back in her hands as she controls what’s posted, when, and who has access to the content.

While her most salacious stuff remains on the pay-per-view page, the 32-year-old has been generous about supplying her audience with PG-13 thirst traps on Instagram. She continued her hot streak on Sunday (February), posing in a barely-there brown bikini in front of some beautiful greenery. Keep scrolling to see more of Azalea’s recent salacious uploads from her Instagram feed, and check back later for more pop culture news.

VVSNCE Exposes Latto DMs After Calling Her Out

Rising rapper VVSNCE continued to call Latto out after she said that she doesn’t charge female rappers for guest verses. Moreover, the “Big Energy” MC expressed a sentiment of wanting to help other women in rap succeed and giving them the proper support. After these comments came to light, the Kodak Black affiliate said that she refused to work with her. Furthermore, it seems like Latto felt pressured by Kodak to finish their collab on her debut album because she was ignoring VVSNCE’s DMs. Overall, she aired out a lot of her frustrations via an IG Story and video post.

“Everybody keep taggin’ me in this s**t, [I don’t care] ’bout no feature from her or nobody else,” she wrote. “She did do that lame s**t tho, ‘I don’t work with new female artists,’ [were] her EXACT words. That’s the real reason she was mad at Yak! She had to pay for that song on her album ‘cuz she ain’t wanna do a song with me.” Shortly after, she posted a screenshot of subsequent DMs with Latto to continue exposing her. “U coulda just asked me wassup yourself instead of believing what a n***a told u,” the 777 artist allegedly wrote.

Latto Called Out By VVSNCE

“These exchanges didn’t come til after a situation u clearly know nun about,” she continued. “I was told to come to his party in order to clear the verse. First I said no & then they said a verse for an artist on his label of his choice & I said no. My lawyer got the proposal on paper word for word. Ion even know you.” With this testimony, it seems that her refusal to work with VVSNCE stemmed more from disagreements with Yak’s camp than anything else.

Meanwhile, VVSNCE agreed that they don’t know each other, and thus didn’t understand why Latto would expect her to contact her “like [they’re] cool.” Furthermore, she chastised her for advising her against referring with her business partner. For what it’s worth, she said that it’s within Latto’s right to turn things down, but seemed to take issue with the narrative she’s fronting on social media. “Don’t expect me to not speak my truth,” she concluded after saying that their shared home city of Atlanta makes this all the more ridiculous. Check out the alleged DMs down below and return to HNHH for more updates on this story.

Joey Bada$$ & Serayah Are Boo’d Up In New IG Pic

Joey Bada$$ and Serayah just possibly announced a relationship with a new picture Joey posted to Instagram. Moreover, this caught many fans in the comments by surprise, as she was dating actor and artist Jacob Latimore. While some simply lamented their breakup, others had some more interesting theories as to what the post could mean. Furthermore, Serayah starred in various popular TV series, including Empire, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, and most notably Black Mafia Family. As such, some people wondered whether this was the result of another media project of if they’re really serious about their fling.

“This better be a scene from BMF… that’s all I know,” one user commented on the New York MC’s post. However, maybe that theory isn’t all that unfounded, considering the multi-hyphenate career of the “Paper Trail$” artist. Moreover, Joey’s acting career has been another highlight of his trajectory throughout the 2010s. For example, he appeared in another 50 Cent-led television smash, Power Book III: Raising Kanan. What’s more is that he also appeared in the Wu-Tang-centered series as Inspectah Deck himself. With all this in mind, plus a few other projects, it wouldn’t be surprising if this was a hint at a stronger on-screen collaboration.

Joey Bada$$ & Serayah Tease Fans On Instagram

Still, the renowned 28-year-old lyricist isn’t exactly known to clout chase or engage in too many social media antics. As such, pulling a stunt like this for the sake of promotion or to get buzz seems a tad out of character. Of course, that’s only up to him to decide, but most of his loyal fanbase is hyper-focused on his musical output above all. He’s been doing just that these past two years after some time off, most recently exemplified by his appearance on Logic’s latest project, College Park.

Meanwhile, Serayah’s working on a music career of her own that’s already led her to impassioned acclaim. For example, last year she released the sultry R&B cut “P.O.V.” with production from OG Parker. Overall, the two versatile artists left their fans with quite the head-scratcher, so we’ll see how this plays out. Regardless, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Serayah and Joey Bada$$.

Logic & Joey Bada$$’ New Collab Will Make You Want To “Shimmy”: Stream

We’ve heard impressive work from Logic over the years, but none finds the 33-year-old sounding as confident as his latest release, College Park. The 17-track effort is his first work as an officially independent artist, marking an exciting new beginning for his career. It tells the story of the year he spent living in Big Lenbo’s basement, chronicling plenty of hilarious misadventures and thoughtful emotions.

Plenty of guest features appear throughout the tracklist, including Lucy Rose on the previously released “Wake Up.” Another comes from Joey Bada$$, who shows out on the second verse of “Shimmy” after Logic drops impressive bars of his own. It marks the first time the two lyricists linked up, and after already finding so much success, it certainly won’t be the last.

Joey Bada$$ Joins Logic on “Shimmy” from College Park

Over production by 6ix and Soundtrakk, the Maryland native sets the mood with a catchy chorus before getting braggadocios on the first verse. “F*ck how you feel, I’m breakin’ the seal / Just got out my deal, I’m keepin’ it real,” he begins, obviously happy to have parted ways with his old label. “A quarter million, that’s my automobile / That thing in the glove, I need it concealed,” Logic goes on.

For his part, Bada$$ follows Young Sinatra with bars about going from EBT to BET and spreading love “the Brooklyn way” before sending a shoutout to the late Biggie Smalls. “Tell me who want war? Watch me turn ’em to a memory / I am not the one, I’m just the one that they pretend to be,” he later asserts, reminding listeners of his influence.

Quotable Lyrics:

Shimmy, shimmy, ya, when I’m shakin’ up the enemies
Ooh, I like it raw, when I’m faded off the Hennessy
Tell me who want war? Watch me turn ’em to a memory
I am not the one, I’m just the one that they pretend to be

SZA’s ‘SOS’ Crossed A Major Streaming Milestone On Spotify, Marking The Second Time For Her

It hasn’t even been three months since SZA released SOS, and it’s already proven itself a commercial success.

The TDE singer’s long-awaited and critically acclaimed sophomore album debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart and has spent at least nine weeks atop the charts following its December release. The album was also certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) within weeks of its release. Additionally, the project helped the “Snooze” singer break the record for the US’s largest streaming week for an R&B album.

Recently, the singer’s album reached a major milestone on streaming giant Spotify with nearly 3 billion streams. This would be her second album to do so following her 2017 debut project, Ctrl.

“‘SOS’ by @SZA has reached 3 billion streams on Spotify. It’s her second album to achieve this,” Pop Crave reports.

To help promote the album (not that it’s necessary at this point), the singer kicked off her tour earlier this month, kicking off at The Jerome Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Joining her on the road as support is Grammy-nominated singer Omar Apollo. The tour is expected to go on until the end of March, with its final show at The Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
