Hotboii Encourages His Enemies To Do Better On “Never Say Never”

With artists like Foolio and Yungeen Ace demanding a ton of attention for their violent and aggressive diss records (and actions) towards each other, the state of Florida is undergoing a sort-of hip-hop renaissance.

Where the Rick Rosses of the world previously ran Florida with larger-than-life, mafioso-type personalities, this new generation is all about what’s really going on in the streets. With pointed social media posts and music videos reminiscent of the mid-2010s Chicago rap scene, Florida rappers are getting after it and Hotboii, who was arrested on RICO charges back in July, is one of the ones popping off the loudest.

Following up his 2020 album, Double O Baby with a handful of singles including “Nobody Special” featuring Future, Hotboii has been building momentum and his new single, “Never Say Never,” is sure to keep it going.

Rapping over fast, piano-driven production with heavy drums, Hotboii spits about stepping up his game and learning to “move better.” Dropping witty references like “Benji that’s my best friend, I always new cheddar” to profess his love for the money, Hotboii mixes bars with the modern Florida sound and comes up with an anthem that will certainly inspire you to do better.

Quotable Lyrics
Your n***a really my son, he copy me and I can sue him
We send n****s to the morgue, we send sinners to the Lord
Put that metal on an opp and put that pedal to the floor

Skepta Doesn’t Hold Back On His New “Plugged In” Freestyle

It’s been several months since we’ve heard anything on Skepta’s front, but now, the UK rapper has returned with “Plugged In,” a freestyle he put together during a recent visit with Fumez The Engineer. The track comes in at just under three minutes long and sees the grime MC returning to his pirate radio roots.

As Complex reports, rumours began swirling earlier this year that Skepta could be heading into retirement, but if his new release is any indication of what’s to come, the 39-year-old sounds like he won’t be stepping away from the music scene anytime soon.

“I hope you brush your teeth before you talk about the big boss/Brand new bedsheets covered in your wifey’s lip gloss/You was at the top but you slipped off (Wasteman),” the Tottenham-born star cleverly spits at the top of the track.

Back in the summer, Skepta dropped off his All In EP, which saw him collaborate with Teezee and Kid Cudi on “Peace of Mind,” and Latin rapper J Balvin on “Nirvana.” The three other tracks from the projects showed off the UK star’s solo skills, earning him plenty of praise.

What do you think of the latest “Plugged In” Freestyle? Check out the video above and let us know below.

Quotable Lyrics:

Think that you’re hard, but you soft like wool
Lick a man in the drawside with the stool
Real bad boy but I still look cool
White gold chain, and an iced out jewel
But they can’t jack me because I’m not Ja Rule

Zion Williamson Reportedly Still Weeks Away From A Comeback

Zion Williamson had surgery on his foot in the offseason and it has forced him to miss a significant amount of time. The Pelicans have started the season without their star player, and every so often, fans seek an update. This past weekend, a concerning video of Zion surfaced online, where he appeared to be overweight and out of shape. Fans were not too happy about this and it has put into question Williamson’s conditioning.

As you can see in the clip below, Zion is a bit slow and he is also out of breathe after just a little bit of effort. This is certainly not good, and fans want answers as to when he will be ready to play again.

Today, Pelicans head coach Willie Green spoke to reporters about Zion and gave a potential timeline for his return. Essentially, Zion can’t participate in 5-on-5 practices right now, however, he has been able to do 5-on-0. As for his foot, Williamson will be reevaluated in two to three weeks which will then give the team a better sense of his health. Needless to say, fans shouldn’t expect him back on the court anytime soon.

Williamson has already suffered a few injuries throughout his young career, and this foot problem has proven to be a huge concern for both fans and presumably the franchise. Stay tuned to HNHH, as we will continue to bring you updates on this developing story.

Bizarre Shares His New Project “Dumpster Juice” Ft. Giggs, Kidd Kidd & More

Bizarre had a rough start earlier this year after he revealed that he had been dealing with health issues that led to his hospitalization. However, he proved that the hustle never stops, and a little less than a week later, he was spotted in the studio.

This weekend, he shared the fruits of his labor with the release of his new project, Dumpster Juice. Bringing back the grimey sounds of the underground that helped propel his career, along with self-deprecating humor, his latest project finds Bizarre back in his element. Rich Porter’s Niece Reportedly Reacts To Alpo Martinez’s Death

One of Harlem’s most notorious drug dealers was shot and killed over the weekend. Alpo Martinez, who Cam’ron portrayed in 2002’s Paid In Full, died during a drive-by shooting, police said. Bullet holes were found in the driver’s seat he was in with police saying that he suffered multiple bullet wounds to the chest.

Martinez, along with Rich Porter and Azie Faison, built a drug enterprise together that ended up being the inspiration behind Paid In Full. After Porter was found dead, Martinez was charged for his death, later admitting that the murder was a result of bad business. “Rich lied to me about something there was no reason to lie about,” Porter told F.E.D.S. magazine in 1999, according to the Times. “I gave him the opportunity to tell me the truth not once, but twice. He didn’t die so I shot him in the head. It wasn’t personal. It was business.”

While Martinez was also a noted government informant, police were aware that he would be “in danger” as soon as he returned to Harlem.

The niece of Rich Porter, who goes by Lorell, told the New York Post Daily News that she was popping a bottle of champagne in response to Martinez’s death.

“We waited for a long time for this day to come and we are happy,” she said. “That’s why we’re out here celebrating drinking champagne. Everybody’s reaction right now is celebrating. It’s a celebration for Harlem, period.”

Lorell added that “every dog has their day” as she expressed relief. “Now my uncle can finally rest in peace, 32 years later,” she continued. “It’s just that the pain my mother felt all these years, I been feeling the pain with her.”

“Every dog has their day and today was his,” Lorell added. “I believe in karma, and I’m glad that I was here to witness it.”

Young Thug Joins In On Squid Game Meme-ing By Poking Fun At Lil Baby

Korean Netflix series Squid Game has taken over every social platform since its worldwide release on Sept. 17. As people began feeling the Halloween spirit this past week, many in the hip-hop community participated in Squid Game-inspired antics.

Yesterday afternoon, Young Thug took to Instagram to share a meme of his face photoshopped onto a Squid Game character’s body. This character was in the act of saving another character’s life, as the other character had Thugger’s close friend Lil Baby’s face photoshopped onto him.

In this scene from the show (spoiler alert for those who have not watched yet), the character falling to the ground had to stay still or they would be executed, and the character standing up holds him up to assure he remains still. Soon after the show’s release, this screenshot from the episode became viral as a meme.

Lil Baby even proved his appreciation for Squid Game earlier this month by emulating one of the games played in the show.

Other rappers joined in on the Squid Game fun this week by dressing up in Squid Game themed gear and outfits just as Soulja Boy and Yo Gotti did.

Perhaps Young Thug used this meme to show how he will always look out for Lil Baby, just as he did when he would pay Baby to rap before he blew up because he could see how talented he was.

Maybe it was just light-hearted meme-ing by Thugger instead. Either way, this just goes to show how quickly Squid Game’s impact spread, as it looks to become the most successful show in Netflix history

Check out Young Thug’s hilarious Squid Game meme about Lil Baby below!

Steve Buscemi Surprises Fans By Handing Out Candy In His Iconic “30 Rock” Costume

Throughout his career we’ve seen Steve Buscemi take on more serious roles in projects like The Sopranos and Reservoir Dogs, but the actor also has undeniable comedic talents which really shone through during his stint on 30 Rock back in 2012.

During an episode that was dubbed “The Private Investigator,” the 63-year-old played the role of an older gentleman who was trying his best to bled in with a group of high schoolers by dressing “cool” and using “hip” lingo. “How do you do, fellow kids?” he asked on the show – a moment that would go on to be heavily meme’d across the internet for years to come.

On Sunday evening, the New York native was seen handing out candy in his Park Slope neighbourhood, wearing an identical outfit to the one he had on during his 30 Rock appearance; a red tracksuit, a backwards cap, a generic graphic tee, and of course, a skateboard.

Not only did Buscemi give out candy, but he also took the time to pose for some photos with fans. @harrislynn on Twitter, who snapped one of the original pictures also confirmed that Elvis Costello was around as well, helping out his friend.

Although some of the pictures came out blurry, a few fans got incredibly clear pictures with the actor, confirming that it was, in fact, him. Hundreds of people flocked to the comment section, showing off their own version of Buscemi’s 30 Rock look.

How would you react if you found one of your favourite stars handing out candy on Halloween?
