GloRilla Speaks Candidly About Pregnancy & Having Kids After Lyrics On “GLORIOUS” Cause Confusion

It’s an exciting time for GloRilla and her fans, as she has finally released her debut album. GLORIOUS hit all streaming platforms this past weekend and it contains features from the likes of Megan Thee Stallion, Sexyy Red, T-Pain, Muni Long, and more. It’s been a pretty run-of-the-mill rollout for it, however, there have been some fans raising questions. On the track “RAIN DOWN ON ME,” a more gospel centric cut which has Kirk Knight, Maverick City Music, and more, there are some bars that turned some heads. “Watch over my family, Lord, and watch over all of my partners / And even though he hate me, Lord, watch over my baby father.” This led some to assume that GloRilla had some kids she was gatekeeping from the public.

She hasn’t addressed these lyrics in particular, but she’s had to debunk some theories surrounding pregnancy in the past. But this isn’t the only track that’s leading to some speculation. Charlamagne tha God had Big Glo on for a new episode of Out Of Context, and during their conversation, he asked her about the song “PROCEDURE” featuring Latto. This song already has some buzz around it thanks to the ATL femcee’s verse, but Charlamagne wanted to touch on one of Glo’s lines. “This nigga tryna get me pregnant, I need to tie my tubes (On God).”

He wanted to confirm with her that she’s really been experiencing that, to which she replied, “yeah.” The “tie my tubes” was sort of a half joke, but GloRilla also expresses that she would like to have kids. But instead of physically giving birth, she says she would much rather have a surrogate mother instead. Part of the reason is that she’s seen her friends carry kids and they came across as “restricted” in her eyes. Charlamagne was a little insensitive following her comments, saying, “It’s just nine months,” but she played it off by laughing and replying, “That’s just too long.” Fans were in the comments of The Shade Room‘s repost and applauding her for being candid and sticking to her guns in the interview.

Ka, Iconic Underground Rapper, Dead At 52

Ka, the iconic Brooklyn rapper known for his prolific output of underground albums, has died at the age of 52, according to a statement on his official Instagram page. The announcement describes his passing as “unexpected” and does not mention a cause of death. His family has asked for privacy as they mourn his tragic passing.

“We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Kaseem Ryan (1972-2024), the rapper and producer known as Ka, who died unexpectedly in New York City on October 12, at the age of 52,” his family wrote. “Born and raised in Brownsville, Brooklyn, Ka lived a life of service—to his city, to his community, and to his music. As a 20-year veteran of the New York City Fire Department, he put his life on the line to protect his fellow citizens. Ka rose to the rank of FDNY captain and was a first responder on September 11, 2001 during the attacks on the World Trade Center.”

The statement continues: “He leaves an extraordinary Legacy as a recording artist, including eleven remarkable self-released solo albums. Ka is survived by his wife, mother and sister. We kindly ask that the privacy of Ka’s family and loved ones be respected as they grieve this incalculable loss.” Fans have already begun pouring in with tributes to the late rapper in the comments section. Many mention how big of an impact Ka’s music had on their lives. “Sending all the love I can send. I’m so sorry for you all. His music has done a lot for me,” one user wrote. Another added: “Long live to one of the greatest writers to grace a mic.”

Thousands of Trump Supporters Left Stranded In Desert After Rally in Coachella

Hundreds of Donald Trump supporters found themselves stranded in the California desert after attending a rally in Coachella Valley this past weekend. The rally, which drew thousands of passionate Trump followers, took place at an outdoor venue where temperatures soared above 100 degrees. Despite the scorching heat, attendees braved the elements to hear the former president speak, but the aftermath left many facing unexpected challenges.

Transportation logistics fell apart as rally-goers struggled to leave the event, miles away from their parked cars. Shuttle buses, which had been promised to transport supporters to and from the venue, abruptly stopped running, leaving large crowds waiting in vain for rides. According to the Times of San Diego, many were left stranded for hours under the desert sun with limited access to water or shelter. Some attendees even reportedly collapsed due to the intense heat during the rally.

Videos shared on social media showed chaotic scenes as supporters waited in long lines, hoping for transportation. One video captured a bus driver shouting that it was the last bus, while passengers shouted back in disbelief, “No more buses, they just got notice.” Other videos described the situation as “chaos,” with some attendees facing a two-hour walk through the desert to reach the parking lot.

This isn’t the first time attendees at Trump rallies have faced logistical nightmares. In 2020, after a rally in Omaha, Nebraska, rally-goers were similarly stranded in freezing temperatures when transportation broke down.

On social media, attendees expressed their frustration and confusion. One rally-goer, in a since-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter), shared that there were reportedly 60 buses employed for the event, but that California Highway Patrol (CHP) had informed drivers to stop picking up attendees. Many are left questioning the event’s poor organization and lack of preparedness for the large crowds.

For those left stranded in Coachella’s brutal heat, the rally ended not with cheers, but with hours of uncertainty in the desert.

Jamie Foxx went “to hell and back” during a significant health scare, but over the weekend, he returned to the stage for the first time since the incident.

“God is good…. As I post these pictures, my heart and my soul is filled with nothing but pure joy… on October 3 fourth and fifth I had an opportunity to tell my side of the story and there was no better place than Atlanta Georgia,” the Oscar-winning actor and singer wrote on Instagram about his one-man show, One More Chance: An Evening with Jamie Foxx. “I have to thank you Atlanta you showed up and you showed out, I haven’t been on stage in 18 years but I needed the stage and I needed an audience that was made up of nothing but pure love and that’s what you were.”

An emotional Foxx didn’t think of the performance as a stand-up comedy show, it was “an artistic explanation. Of some thing that went terribly wrong, but thanks to the great people in Atlanta especially piedmont hospital you enabled me to come back and be on stage and do what I love to do the most… #nobaddays as my guy James would say #secondchance.”

Foxx has not publicly divulged the cause of his medical emergency, although he spent time at a rehab facility that specializes in strokes and brain injuries.

TDE Punch has clarified that J Cole’s song, “Pi,” was recorded long before Kendrick Lamar, Future, and Metro Boomin dropped “Like That,” earlier this year. In response to HipHopDX’s Jeremy Hecht, Punch shot down rumors that Cole included him on the song intentionally to diss Kendrick Lamar.

Hecht had written: “Ab-Soul threw jabs at J. Cole after Cole did him dirty by adding him & Daylyt to a song with a verse dissing Kendrick on ‘Pi’ – this is a question for rap fans. Cole dropped out with Kendrick but he still claims his pen is unmatched. Does he have to engage w Soul to prove it?” As fans begin debating the validity of the theory, Punch replied: “I hate to clear up rumors, I usually let them fester and see how far they go, but ALL verses on Pi were recorded long before Like That.”

Juice WRLD’s Estate Releases An Extended Version Of “The Pre-Party” Including Two Tracks

Juice WRLD’s team is preparing to release the late Chicago rapper’s third posthumous album, The Party Never Ends. It’s also supposedly going to be the talented spitter’s final project, so this may very well be a bittersweet moment for his fanbase. It was speculated that it would be out sometime in 2024, but not too long ago, his estate would confirm it. The celebratory tape will land on November 22, so we are just about a month away exactly. To tide listeners over, they released a tandem of songs called The Pre-Party back in early September.

They included “World Tour (Aquafina)” and “Lightyears” with Young Thug. Both were previewed years prior, so it was a nice treat for some of his most loyal supporters. It seems like these singles will most likely be loosies given the title of the EP. However, Juice WRLD’s reps are back with handful of new cuts, labeling it as The Pre-Party (Extended). For this drop, “Cavalier” and “Both Ways” are the ones to see the light of day. Similarly, these tracks focus on similar topics of fame, such as finding it and flexing it. Diddy Hit With Disturbing New Lawsuits From Men Alleging Sexual Assault

Tony Buzbee continues to launch lawsuits alleging misconduct against Diddy, as he will represent about 120 of the Bad Boy mogul’s alleged victims. Moreover, according to a TMZ report, Buzbee filed six separate lawsuits recently, four of which are from male accusers. One of them is from a man who worked at Ecko Clothing in 2008 and allegedly met Sean Combs as he developed Sean John as a competing clothing brand. The man alleges that the executive and three of his bodyguards ran into him in the stockroom of a Macy’s in New York City. He alleges that someone hit him in the back of his neck with their pistol, and that Combs said “Suck my d**k, Ecko” before orally assaulting him.

Another man alleges that he worked as a security guard for Diddy’s White Party in 2006 and drank a cocktail spiked with GBH and/or ecstasy. Then, he alleges, the former Diageo partner forcibly took him to a van and sodomized him without consent. In another lawsuit filed by Tony Buzbee, a man alleged that he went to one of Combs’ parties in 2021 and that he became disoriented due to a drink. He also alleged that the next thing he remembers is being paralyzed in a room, where three men allegedly sexually assaulted him and sodomized him. The man allegedly “distinctly recalled” seeing a naked Puff standing over him.

The fourth lawsuit in question comes from a man who alleges that he went to Diddy’s 1998 White Party in the Hamptons when he was just 16 years old. After allegedly taking a photo together, the man alleges that Puffy took him to a private area to tell him to take his pants off to see his penis. “Don’t you want to break into the business?” he allegedly asked the man, since they allegedly spoke of turning the alleged then-16-year-old into a star. The man says that he dropped his pants, and that the now-54-year-old squeezed his genitals.

Other stories floating around the Diddy scandal concern Donald Trump allegedly defending him against Aubrey O’Day back in the day. All situations above remain allegations, and the parties involved have not addressed them publicly at press time.
