Like a lot of rappers in 2024, Heems is on the path to a triumphant return with a big-time release. For the Punjabi-American underground MC, that moment is right around the corner. Heems has not put out a solo album since 2015 with Eat Pray Thug. When he puts out LAFANDAR, it would have almost been nine years to the day that Heems came through with an LP. What makes this comeback even more exciting is that it is a collaborative album.

Heems will be working with another multicultural talent, Lapgan. He is an Indian-American producer and will be handling the beats. Fans can expect the record on February 16 and to tide them over, he has two singles out. The lead song dropped back in late January. That featured Saul Williams and was titled “Accent.”

A while back, Radke actually got into it with Playboi Carti over some merch that Carti was selling. This merch had the name Falling In Reverse on it, and Radke too notice. He subsequently tweeted about Carti paying up, and that was the last we heard of it. Well, following the whole Adin Ross situation, Radke decided to step in and say something. As you all know by now, Carti made $1 million off of Ross and many called it a scam. If you’re a Ross fan, you can sleep easy knowing the rapper paid Radke a lot more than that after the whole merch fiasco.

Austin Rivers Responds To Stephen Jackson Rant

Austin Rivers has responded to Stephen Jackon’s heated reaction to his comments on ESPN about Bronny James. “All smiles…I didn’t even have to fight my own battles with ignorance, yall corrected it for me!! Thank you for not siding with delusion. Have a blessed day,” Rivers wrote on X, formerly Twitter. Jackson had taken offense to Austin Rivers’ rationale behind why LeBron and Bronny shouldn’t play on the same team if Bronny makes the move to the NBA. “Difference is you trash, Bronny not. You can’t compare to him scrub. And your daddy not LeBron. Shut up,” Jackson wrote in the comments on an Instagram post reporting Rivers’ original comments.

However, as mentioned, it was a bizarre reaction given that Rivers had been arguing that Bronny doesn’t need the added obstacle of playing in his father’s shadow. “I don’t want to see Bronny play with [LeBron]… Him getting drafted & playing with his dad, I don’t want that negativity to come his way. He doesn’t deserve it… [He needs to] play somewhere where he can niche out his own identity,” Rivers told NBA Today.

Bronny James Struggles Despite Stephen Jackson Support

Furthermore, despite Jackson’s passionate defense, Bronny has not exactly been living up to expectations at the college level. While his sidelining due to a congenital heart issue must be acknowledged, Bronny has struggled to elevate his game. Bronny is currently averaging 5.9/2.9/2.6 off the bench for a floundering USC squad. His draft projection has gone from late first-round to being omitted from many mock drafts entirely. As much as Jackson may like Bronny, there is not a lot going on game nights to back up the defense.

It’s widely expected that if Bronny James doesn’t become a Laker this summer, LeBron will decline his player option year and follow his son to a new team. Prior to Bronny’s struggles at USC, one potentially floated destination was being drafted by Atlanta. One person who seemed excited by this was Hawks star Trae Young. Last summer, in response to an NBA Central post hypothesizing a LeBron-Bronny partnership on the Hawks, Young tweeted “Talk soon” in response. This immediately set off the rumor mill that the Hawks might push for a LeBron trade.

How To Watch Usher’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Performance

At the moment, Usher is missing. At least, that’s the case in a fictional new teaser for his Super Bowl Halftime Show performance this weekend. Presumably, he’ll turn up between now and when it comes time for the big day. When Usher does take the field, here’s how to watch.

How To Watch Usher’s Super Bowl Halftime Show

The Super Bowl, and therefore Usher’s halftime performance, goes down on Sunday, February 11 at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT. The most immediately obvious way to watch is on TV, as CBS will be broadcasting the game. Nickelodeon will have its own special broadcast of the game, too.

For those who don’t have cable, though, the game will be streaming on Paramount+. The service currently offers a one-week free trial by signing up here, so you can sign up and watch the game before any payments are taken from your account. If you don’t envision yourself wanting to hang onto Paramount+ after this weekend, there’s also the option to just cancel the trial once the game is over, if you’d like. (There are some great shows and movies on there, though.)

As for how to watch after the game, the halftime shows are usually made available online. Rihanna’s 2023 performance, for example, was shared on YouTube not long after it happened. In fact, you can still watch it here.
