Rich The Kid has responded to Elliott Wilson calling him the “luckiest n***a on the planet.” Taking to Twitter on Monday, he remarked that hating “isn’t cool.” It appears that Wilson was referring to Rich’s appearance on Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s new album, Vultures 1. He contributed to the song, “Carnival,” alongside Playboi Carti.

“How the fuck I’m lucky? N****s made that song from scratch.. hating is not cool bro,” Rich said in response to Wilson. The back and forth warranted mixed responses from fans. “Because you’ve been washed for like 6 years straight and happned to fetaure on a song w 3 generational rappers , have some self awareness bruh,” one user replied. Another defended Rich: “bro rich the kid deadass shaped that track into what it is. that whole choir part wasn’t there till he did his verse. the choir is literally singing the lines rich the kid put down LMAO. he went off.”

After sharing a photo of their meet-up online, YB’s fan has been under fire for “holding hands” with the 24-year-old as they posed together.

As HipHopDX reports, the image surfaced online this past weekend (February 10,) at which time the OP wrote “Why I just ran into NBA YB and Mabu at Target?” he asked. Seeing as photos with the lyricists were captured separately, it’s unclear if the “MR. TAKE YA B*TCH” artist and shopping together, or just happened to coincidentally be in the same store.

As hate comments began pouring in, YB’s fan edited the caption on his post to read, “Crying on the net ’bout a pic, twisting the narrative sounds like a bunch of insecure bums who [get] no money” earlier this week. “Bruh, no one crying,” one user responded to @wltr.aa. “That s**t mad sus, wtf y’all doing holding hands? Also, your page [don’t] show you getting no money either, so who [are you] to talk? Pic is weird as s**t, how ’bout you explain why y’all holding each other’s fingers [while] crossing arms?”

Killer Mike Clashes With “The View” Host Over Brian Kemp Support

Killer Mike has a surprising and particularly notable start to his February. He took home a sweep of the rap Grammys this year winning Best Rap Album for his project Michael. He also took home Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for his track “SCIENTISTS & ENGINEERS” with Future, Andre 3000, and Erin Allen Kane. But as soon as fans online were processing those wins, videos of Mike being escorted out of the ceremony in handcuffs began making the rounds online. It took days for the details of the situation to eventually fully unravel.

When Mike did eventually sit down to discuss the night’s events he did so in a surprising place. He sat down with the panel on The View to discuss his night at the Grammys and his own political activism. When addressing his Grammys arrest he chose to valorize the night. He called out many of his political heroes who have also been arrested in the past. But during the next segment, he dug into politics where he found himself going back and forth with one of the show’s hosts Sunny Hostin. On this date twenty-eight ago, the Hip Hop legend Tupac Shakur officially released his fourth album, All Eyez On Me, on the Death Row/Interscope imprint.

The album featured five singles with two topping number one on the Billboard Hot 100; “How Do U Want It” and “California Love.” It made Hip Hop history the first double-full-length solo Hip-Hop studio album released. It was the second album from Tupac Shakur to hit number one on both the Billboard 200 and the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts, selling 566,000 copies in the first week. Shortly after his untimely death, the album then won the 1997 Soul Train R&B/Soul or Rap Album of the Year Award. Shakur also won the Award for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist at the 24th Annual American Music Awards. The album was certified diamond by the RIAA on July 23, 2014.

All Eyez On Me, the biopic about Pac’s life with the same name, was released on June 16, 2017.
