Tyla’s Debut Album Praised By Fans And Critics

Last year, South African R&B singer Tyla had her commercial breakthrough. That came on the back of her single “Water” which was a smash hit last year. It took a slow crawl up the charts eventually reaching the top 10 where it peaked at number 7. The song has racked up an astonishing 490 million streams on Spotify and last year it got a remix version with Travis Scott. Now she’s capitalizing on the success of the song with the release of her self-titled debut album.

Late last year, she dropped a trio of new songs to tease towards the release of TYLA. Those tracks were called “Truth Or Dare,” “Butterflies,” and “On And On” and were met with even more praise from R&B fans. “Truth Or Dare” in particular has become a fan favorite and racked up more than 43 million streams on Spotify. That was followed by even more singles like “Jump” with Gunna and Skillibeng. The album’s final single was “No. 1” with Tems. Now that the full project is out fans are reacting to it and the feedback has been very positive. Check out some of that praise for the record below.

Orlando Brown Rides With Fans Who Find Him Walking Around Houston: Watch

In its prime, That’s So Raven was one of the most beloved shows on Disney. The lead actress, Raven Symone, remains in the spotlight to this day, even landing a spin-off series that details her life as a psychic single mother. The starlet’s co-stars weren’t all so lucky – particularly Orlando Brown, who’s been on a rollercoaster ride of mental health struggles and legal issues over the past decade or so. So far in 2024, he’s already been kicked out of a Los Angeles restaurant for screaming at the staff. Still, not all the news about the 36-year-old is bad.

Brown was recently out and about in Houston, walking on the sidewalk by himself. Fans driving by slowed down and began shouting to get his attention, which he was seemingly happy to give them. As they asked the father of five what he was doing in H-Town he greeted them with a smile and didn’t hesitate to hop in their vehicle and seemingly offer himself a ride with the strangers.

The hilarious but sweet exchange has left many viewers of @theneighborhoodtalk’s post feeling positive. “Doesn’t matter what he has become, he is still the lil homie from ‘Family Matters’ and ‘Major Pain’ and the aggy friend from ‘That’s So Raven.’ The real ones gonna always show love 💯!!” one person wrote. “Just like a drunk uncle.. Wave to them in front the liquor store and they always end up needing a ride real quick 😂,” another user joked.

It’s always heartwarming to see Orlando Brown in the news for positive reasons, especially considering what he had to say about Drake, Usher, and others in the industry last months. NBA YoungBoy Holds Hands With Male Fan, Viral Photo Reactions Pour In

NBA YoungBoy is known for being a boundary-pushing artist. As his legal team continues to fight for his freedom, the Louisana native is spending more time with his fans. Recently, one lucky listener crossed paths with both the controversial artist and Chrisean Rock’s ex, Lil Mabu, in the same Target store. After sharing a photo of their meet-up online, YB’s fan has been under fire for “holding hands” with the 24-year-old as they posed together.

As HipHopDX reports, the image surfaced online this past weekend (February 10,) at which time the OP wrote “Why I just ran into NBA YB and Mabu at Target?” he asked. Seeing as photos with the lyricists were captured separately, it’s unclear if the “MR. TAKE YA B*TCH” artist and shopping together, or just happened to coincidentally be in the same store.
