Yung Filly Hit With Sexual Assault Charges Over Alleged Incident In Australia

UK rapper and YouTuber Yung Filly received sexual assault charges for an alleged Perth, Australia incident following a Tuesday (October 8) arrest, according to local news reports per AllHipHop. Authorities apprehended him in Brisbane on Tuesday and extradited him to Perth the next day. Filly, real name Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, was hit with accusations of allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s in his hotel in Perth on September 28 after a show in the area the previous day. The 29-year-old went on Thursday (October 10) to Perth Magistrates Court and received the following charges: three counts of alleged assault causing bodily harm, four counts of alleged sexual penetration without consent and one count of allegedly impeding someone’s normal breathing or blood circulation through pressure to the neck.

“WA Police Sex Assault Squad detectives will allege on Saturday 28 September 2024, the man sexually assaulted a woman in her 20s, in his Perth hotel room after he had performed at a venue in Hillarys,” the Western Australia Police stated concerning Yung Filly’s allegations. “This investigation is ongoing and Sex Assault Squad detectives urge anyone with information relating to this matter, or any similar incidents, to call Crime Stoppers.”

Furthermore, at Yung Filly’s bail hearing later on Thursday, Magistrate Tanya Watt granted him bail, according to ABC News in Australia. She disagreed with prosecutors that the court couldn’t adequately account for his flight risk and witness interference potential. However, Watt granted Filly bail under strict conditions that ban him from contacting his alleged victim and posting about the case online. In addition, he is to remain in Western Australia, file daily status reports with local police, and cough up a $100,000 surety.

Meanwhile, various fans went to Yung Filly’s court proceedings, telling ABC News that they wanted to hear the allegations for themselves. Prosecutors also showed publicly undisclosed photos of the alleged incident to the magistrate, which they claim prove that any alleged sexual activity couldn’t have been consensual. On the other hand, Filly’s defense opposed an outright social media ban and requested that the court not publicly discuss the material facts of the case in order to not risk his right to a fair trial.

Dr. Dre Sued by Marriage Counselor Who Alleges He Wears Bulletproof Vest Due to Threats

Dr. Dre to Receive Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Dr. Dre to Receive Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Dr. Dre’s psychiatrist and marriage counselor are suing him over abusive and threatening text messages.

The doctor, Dr. Charles Sophy, stated he provided therapy for Dre and his ex-wife Nicole and served as a mediator through their divorce.

According to TMZ, Sophy stated Dre was getting a run of abusive and threatening texts 14 months after the finalization of his divorce. Dre stated Sophy encouraged a third party to speak negatively on the producer in the media while the divorce was in progress. Dre also allegedly had people visit Sophy’s home disguised as FBI agents.

In texts, Dre called Sophy names and also levied threats like “Make you pay for that.” Sophy states he has now enchanced the security at his home and leaves the home wearing a bulletproof vest and cap.

Sophy is now suing for $10 million and wants an order keeping the legendary producer over 100 yards from him.

In response, Dr. Dre’s lawyer Howard King says: “Dr. Sophy filed his suit only after he failed to pressure Mr. Young into dropping efforts to get Dr. Sophy punished for dereliction of duties and incredible incompetence. These claims are set forth in detail in a confidential complaint Mr. Young filed in 2023 with the Osteopathic Medical Board of California. That complaint seeks revocation of Dr. Sophy’s license to provide mental health counseling to needy patients. In gross violation of all applicable standards of care, Dr. Sophy inserted himself into a contentious divorce while he simultaneously ‘treated’ not only Mr. and Mrs. Young, but their children.”

J Cole Gets Called Out For Rewriting History On New Song “Port Antonio”

Last night, J Cole unveiled his new track “Port Antonio,” and it has since sparked a major debate on social media. In the song, he addresses Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s viral beef, which he famously bowed out of after dropping “7 Minute Drill.” He issued an apology for the Kendrick diss track at Dreamville Fest in April. Cole got a lot of heat for this at first, but after watching how Drake and Kendrick’s lyrical battle played out, fans agreed that he made the right call.

On “Port Antonio,” J Cole essentially claims that he backed out of the feud because his opponents wanted clout, and that he was more afraid of losing a friend than losing a battle. “I wouldn’t have lost a battle, dawg, I woulda lost a bro,” he spits. “I woulda gained a foe, and all for what? Just to attain some mo’ / Props from strangers that don’t got a clue what I been aimin’ for?”

J Cole Addresses Drake & Kendrick Lamar Beef On New Song

So far, listeners are split. While many still think J Cole did the right thing by rising above, some are accusing him of rewriting history. Others are simply calling him corny for bringing up beef that for the most part, fizzled out months ago.

“Boy apologized now tryna double back. ‘I coulda won the battle.’ my n***a you bowed out and rode your bike for 6 months dodging smoke,” one user writes on Twitter/X. “Mixed messages. J. Cole wants to be the bigger man, but there’s inconsistency. He claims he can out-rap anyone, then avoids beef for friendship, and now says he could’ve won but didn’t want to lose a bro? You can’t have it both ways, and that’s what put him in this position,” another argues.

Kendrick Lamar & J. Cole Went Toe-To-Toe On “Black Friday”: Who Won?

Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole are not on the best of terms right now. Overall, this mostly has to do with Kendrick’s recent beef against Drake, and some of the fallout from “First Person Shooter.” If you remember, J. Cole and Drake referred to themselves as the Big Three in that collab. However, Kendrick was not too happy about this and unleashed an iconic verse on “Like That” that reaffirmed his position at the top of the rap game. This subsequently led to a massive beef between Kendrick and Drake that left Cole on the sidelines.

On Thursday, Cole came through with a new song called “Port Antonio” in which he showed love to Drake and Kendrick. He explained why he opted out of the beef and how it wasn’t for him to get involved. On this Throwback Thursday, the song is reminding us of what could have been between Cole and Kendrick. Back in 2015, there were rumors that these two would drop an album together. Of course, the song that drove this hype was “Black Friday.” The first half features Kendrick rapping over Cole’s “A Tale of 2 Cities” while the second half has Cole rapping over “Alright.” Both artists give their best efforts and to this day, many wonder who actually won.

Who do you believe had the best verse on “Black Friday,” Kendrick or J. Cole? Do you think these two will ever change their minds and bless us with a collaborative album? Kendrick Lamar & J. Cole Had Us Wanting A Collab Album

Quotable Lyrics:

I like my raps extra prolific
Since freestyling on lunch tables and park benches
And I won’t mention my 10,000 hours in training
While juggling, gang-banging, my balancing was tremendous
And now we look at the competition as quick submission
They tappin’ out before we even get a chance to miss ‘em

Justin Bieber Reportedly ‘Completely Disgusted’ by Diddy Sexual Assault Allegations

Justin Bieber to Perform at Takeoff's Memorial Service in Atlanta

Justin Bieber is reportedly struggling with the arrest of Diddy, as an insider says the run of allegations has left the singer “completely disgusted.”

“Justin has been advised to stay as far away as possible from anything and everything related to Diddy,” a source told US Weekly.

An additional insider added, “Justin is in a hard place mentally right now. He has such a history with Diddy and the allegations against him have been hard to process.”

Currently, Justin is building a life with his wife, Hailey, and newborn son Jack. His “happiness being a dad has outweighed his anxiety about Diddy.”

While we are on family, Diddy was visited by his twin daughters and mother at Brooklyn’s MDC. According to TMZ, the family shared time in the visiting area where they could embrace and have a conversation.

Insiders say the twins made the trip from California to see Diddy for the first time since his arrest.

The visit came ahead of a statement by Diddy’s mother, Janice Combs, who referred to his charges as a “public lynching.” Combs expressed her views in a conversation with Page Six.

“It is heartbreaking to see my son judged not for the truth, but for a narrative created out of lies,” Janice shared.

“To bear witness what seems to be like a public lynching of my son before he has had the opportunity to prove his innocence is a pain too unbearable to put into words. Like every human being, my son deserves to have his day in court, to finally share his side, and to prove his innocence.”

She added, “I am not here to portray my son as perfect because he is not. He has made mistakes in his past, as we all have.

“My son may not have been entirely truthful about certain things, such as denying he has ever gotten violent with an ex-girlfriend when the hotel’s surveillance showed otherwise.”

J. Cole Addresses Leaving The Drake And Kendrick Lamar Beef On ‘Port Antonio,’ But Some Aren’t Buying His Explanation

Last night (October 9), J. Cole unexpectedly unveiled a new song, “Port Antonio.” Notably, it sees the rapper addressing his decision to bow out of the beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

On the second verse, he raps in part (per Genius):

“I pulled the plug because I’ve seen where that was ’bout to go
They wanted blood, they wanted clicks to make they pockets grow
They see this fire in my pen and think I’m dodgin’ smoke
I wouldn’t have lost a battle, dawg, I woulda lost a bro
I woulda gained a foe, and all for what? Just to attain some mo’
Props from strangers that don’t got a clue what I been aimin’ for?
Since the age of 14, Jermaine is no king
If that means I gotta dig up dirt and pay the whole team
Of algorithm-bot n****s just to sway the whole thing
On social media, competin’ for your favorable means
To be considered best of live and rest, the weight of both things
I understand the thirst of being first that made ’em both swing
Protecting legacies, so lines got crossed, perhaps regrettably
My friends went to war, I walked away with all they blood on me.”

Naturally, the track has generated many reactions online, and a lot of people aren’t buying what Cole is selling. One X (formerly Twitter) user wrote, “I refuse to let J Cole rewrite history as if he didn’t make 7 Minute Drill and we all didn’t hear how sh*t it sounded.” Another said, “I have no problem with J. Cole bowing out of that beef. You don’t get to come back 4 months later and tell me how you would’ve won though. Shut that up forever!”

Listen to “Port Antonio” above.
