Diddy Partners with DJ Khaled to Announce New 'Diddy Direct' Platform

Diddy has decided not to attend the 2024 Grammy Awards. In an exclusive to The Hollywood Reporter, Diddy, nominated for the first time in two decades, has confirmed via a representative that he will not attend.

Diddy is nominated for best progressive R&B album for The Love Album: Off the Grid. The last nomination he received was for “Shake Ya Tailfeather” from the Bad Boys II soundtrack, which he won in the best rap performance by a group or duo category.

There was no quote given to THR, other than confirming that Diddy will not be in attendance.

In addition, Yung Miami has a new reality show headed to BET, but don’t expect to see Diddy on it.

According to The Jasmine Brand, BET replaced the scenes from the show that highlight the life of Caresha that featured Diddy amid the fallout of various sexual abuse allegations. To replace the missing scenes, Yung Miami had to record new content.

The City Girls unleashed their RAW album featuring Usher and other friends, and she won several awards thanks to the work she put in on her Caresha Please podcast. Now that Diddy is no longer on the board at REVOLT (at least temporarily), we can’t help but wonder what’s next for the Floridian. Speaking of the Bad Boy mogul, the allegations coming out against him after settling a harrowing multi-million dollar lawsuit with Cassie have put some notable distance between Sean Combs and his Shawty Wop.

Interestingly, the mother of two was flirting with Lil Baby during a recent performance. Some social media users are keen to see the Atlanta-based lyricist come together with Caresha, but others feel they’re better off collaborating musically. Nevertheless, the femcee is making it clear on social media that she’s ready to have a good time, no matter what other people close to her may be struggling with at this time.

JT Falls In Heels At City Girls Show, Yung Miami Saves The Day

Besides being the strongest lyricist of the two City Girls, JT is also the rap diva with a fashion education that she uses to keep herself looking fly. Her taste certainly isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but that hasn’t stopped the Florida native from moving confidently on and off stage. During a recent performance, the “No Bars” hitmaker wore sky-high heels that unfortunately made her fall to the floor while performing on stage. Thankfully, her partner in rhyme Yung Miami was beside her to hype her up and get their show back on track.

In the clip below, JT seems to lose her footing as “Take Yo Man” blares over the speakers. After the City Girl awkwardly stumbles backward and recovers, we see Caresha Brownlee crossing over to help make sure she’s okay before getting back to spitting into the microphone. “I love how Miami went to help her and hyped her back up. Earlier this week, a clip of the podcaster throwing it back landed on her Twitter page, causing some to cancel their afternoon plans in favour of thirsting.

City Girls’ Yung Miami Revealed That While She Wasn’t Diddy’s Type, She Got Him By Being ‘That B*tch’

City Girls recently dropped their new album, RAW. As part of the press cycle, both Yung Miami and JT talked with Billboard about the record. However, during the interview, the former was also asked about her relationship with Diddy.

For those who don’t know, Yung Miami has been apparently dating the media mogul for a while, even though they have a bit of a unique relationship. A few months ago, she appeared to go shopping with Diddy’s money as a celebration of his and City Girls’ collab dropping. Now she’s sharing how she first attracted him.

“I don’t know ’cause people say that I wasn’t Diddy type,” Yung Miami said. “But clearly, I am. So, I think that you just be yourself because people, they gravitate towards real. Like, so many people try to be something that they not.

“You just got to be yourself,” she added. “I’m just myself. I’m just that b*tch.”

In terms of the timeline of Diddy and Yung Miami’s relationship, they were first linked during the summer of 2021. By the following summer, she was in the crowd of the BET Awards, cheering him on while getting the Lifetime Achievement Award with a sign that read “Go Papi!.”

Meanwhile, JT had been seeing Lil Uzi Vert, but she confirmed that while they are a rap duo, the two girls won’t be going on double dates any time soon.

Earlier this week, Chrisean Rock and Blueface were both in attendance at a party thrown by Yung Miami. But Rock wasn’t just there to have a good time, she was also performing. One particular part of her performance made the rounds on social media overnight . In the clip she performs a song she released last month. That’s the Lil Mabu collaboration “MR. TAKE YA B*TCH” which sees her teaming up with her new man while dissing her old one, Blueface.

What makes the performance even more surprising and bold is of course that Blueface himself was in attendance. “mind you he in here. love this for her” one of the videos of her performance is captioned. While the move seems particularly cold, fans responding to a repost of the video weren’t quite as convinced. “Bruh stop tryna make it seem like beef , we know they pay y’all to keep it up we not stupid,” one fan comments claiming their entire beef is staged. Just a few days ago Chrisean Rock and Lil Mabu learned that their song hit number one on the new Billboard TikTok Songs chart. Billboard first unveiled the chart earlier this year to track which songs are trending most on the social media platform. The chart has been quite volatile as well. That elasticity provided the perfect opening for “MR. TAKE YA B*TCH” to shoot all the way to number one.

Yung Miami Unbothered By “RAW” Album Sales Projections Critics

The landscape of the industry has changed significantly in recent years, leaving many artists with lower first week sales numbers than ever previously seen in their careers. In particular, women working in music are having a difficult time keeping up with their male counterparts, and as a result, getting clowned online despite all their hard work and other achievements. We saw it happen to both Coi Leray and Chloe Bailey earlier this year. Now, it’s the City Girls whose critics are coming at them over their RAW sales. Regardless of what people like DJ Akademiks have to say, Yung Miami and JT don’t seem to be letting their projections get them down.

Earlier this week, we found out that the duo’s new arrival is set to move a total of 6K – 9K album equivalent units during its first seven days out. Compared to artists like Drake or Bad Bunny, these numbers are obviously minuscule, but as Caresha pointed out on Twitter, she’s not mad at the results. “That’s good for a b**ch who voice y’all hate and can’t rap,” the Florida native wrote on Monday (October 23) evening.

Yung Miami is Plotting on Her Haters

In another post, Miami made it clear that she’s keeping tabs on those who are throwing shade her way. “All of a sudden everybody hate me,” she posted yesterday. “I’m bookmarking everything . I love to make a b**ch eat they words!” the “Twerkulator” artist further noted.
