Next, the plus-sized fashionista wants to make sure we “stay hydrated,” though she might be drinking more wine than water based on her tutorial.

Lizzo’s been under a lot of pressure in 2024, from appealing the lawsuit coming from her former dancers to nearly quitting music due to backlash from trolls online. Since Beyonce first announced her plans to take over country music, the New Yorker has been on her neck, bashing both the Houston native and her husband, Jay-Z. In recent days, Banks has turned some of her attention toward another female starlet – Doechii – who some think is one of the “212” hitmaker’s “sons,” or someone who takes direct inspiration from their elder’s discography and overall aesthetic.

The drama made its way to The Breakfast Club this week, where hosts Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy, and Jess Hilarious broke down what’s been happening. For his part, Tha God took a special interest in one comment from Doechii, teasing Banks for selling “bussy boy” soap online instead of sharing new music. Though he’s a straight, married man, the radio host was still keen to get his hands on some of the rap diva’s $7 hygiene products.

Based on their past drama, it’s easy to understand why the reality starlet would be reluctant to mention the Queen of Rap by name. Still, with the success of her ongoing Pink Friday 2 Tour, it’s hard not to give Minaj props for all she’s accomplishing. Some fans misinterpreted their interaction as being more hostile than it was. The two had to share some pictures of them together at the Vanity Fair Oscars party and publicly bond over their Dominican heritage just to shut down the beef rumors.

Now in a new TikTok live, Cardi explained further why she takes issue with being called Mexican by fans. “A lot of people keep saying damn, why is it I feel offended when people call me Mexican? Because I’m not Mexican! I’m not Mexican. My nationalities don’t have the same culture. We speak the same language, we have different dialects. We don’t eat the same food, we don’t eat the same nothing. Call a Nigerian Ghanaian. Call a Haitian Jamaican. Call a Jamaican a Haitian. Call Guyanese a Trini and you tell me how they gonna feel.
