ScHoolboy Q Details Getting To Play His New Album For Jay-Z

Earlier this month, ScHoolboy Q released his new album Blue Lips. The project was his first in 5 years and came on the heels of an album that took a bit of a beating from both critics and fans. Thankfully, those same critics and fans seem to like Blue Lips quite a bit more and the response to the record has been pretty positive. One of the indicators ahead of the album’s release that it could be pretty good was a cosign from Jay-Z. Q made an Instagram post revealing that he got to play the album for Jay before it was released.

In a recent appearance he made on Paul George’s Podcast P show, he opened up on playing his new record for Jay-Z. “He was actually listening and yeah, that was all I needed to know,” Q begins. He goes on to explain that he’s gotten the opportunity to play his albums for other rap legends like Nas and Dr. Dre, but was still honored by the chance to share his music with Jay-Z. “So I got to do it and he was f*cking with it, you know what I’m saying? During another recent podcast appearance, ScHoolboy Q called out those rappers that “check in” places. He claims they’re endangering themselves unnecessarily. But the pair just couldn’t find the time to put it together.

Diddy Home Raid: New Footage From Inside The House Showcases Chaotic Aftermath Of The Raid

Yesterday rap fans were hit with the shocking news that Diddy’s residences in Miami and Los Angeles were being raided by the FBI. Perhaps just as shocking was the announcement that they were executing search warrants related to a sex trafficking investigation. The rap mogul has spent the past few months facing a myriad of allegations of bad behavior dating back decades. While that’s come from a variety of lawsuits this investigation from the feds obviously raises the stakes significantly.

Now just a day following the raids, TMZ has obtained footage of the inside of one of the houses following the feds executing their search on it. As you’d expect, the house looks pretty ransacked with things taken out of shelves and drawers and thrown all over the floor. Throughout the two-minute video, we see numerous rooms in the house with dozens and dozens of items littered about them. It shows closets, living rooms, bedrooms, and more. TMZ has been keeping an incredibly watchful eye over the entire Diddy situation since it first unfolded. They had footage overnight of two of the rap mogul’s sons, King and Justin, showing up at his Los Angeles mansion to pick up some of their belongings from the location following the raid. They also reported that electronics were seized during the raid which could potentially contain evidence for the investigation against the rapper.

There have been a variety of reactions from around the rap world to the raids. Some feel like it is overdue justice following all of the recent allegations made against Diddy. Full Moon In Libra Leaves Erykah Badu Feeling “Low Vibrational” After Beyoncé Drama

Erykah Badu is a powerful woman, there’s no denying that, but even someone who’s done as much work on their energy as she has feels the impact of the full moon. In particular, this month’s lunar transit through the sign of Libra, which also coincides with an eclipse, has “The Healer” singer feeling “low vibrational” as she put it during an Instagram Live session. Badu’s announcement comes just days after she went viral for seemingly accusing Beyoncé of copying her with the album artwork for her upcoming COWBOY CARTER project.

“Stomach feels bloated,” she told those watching her stream. “The moon got me feeling guilty, stressed all out. I don’t know why. But I’m up and I’m going. Past few days I’ve been feeling kinda not on my best behaviour, kinda like low vibrational a little bit.” Thankfully, Badu isn’t letting the energetic shifts get her down, as she knows that “it’s all part of the process, it’s all part of the cycle.”

It’s unclear if the 53-year-old’s guilt is related to the comments she made about Queen B, or if it’s a theme arising all throughout her life right now. Regardless, we’re glad Badu has the foresight and intuitive connection to know she’s more than her feelings. She did try to make amends with Bey by asking Jay-Z to intervene and calm down the swarming Beyhive, but the most bitter among them continue to pester the Dallas-born songstress.

Diddy’s Two Sons Gather Their Belongings From Recently Raided Mansion

Earlier this week, one of the most shocking stories of 2024 so far broke. That came when reports flooded in that Diddy’s mansions in both Los Angeles and Miami were being raided by the federal government simultaneously. They were reportedly raided in connection to an investigation over sex trafficking allegations. It comes after months of accusations leveled against the rap mogul in various lawsuits dating back decades.

As you’d expect paparazzi have been keeping their eyes on the mansions since then and they’ve spotted two familiar faces at the Los Angeles residence. TMZ reports that Diddy’s sons King and Justin both stopped by the LA mansion overnight. First came Justin who reportedly gathered his belongings, packed them into a car, and took off. They also report that a couple hours later King arrived and did the exact same thing packing up his belongings and taking off. Check out some of the videos they took below.

After the raids yesterday, fans online were curious what Yung Miami was up to. Streamer DJ Akademiks tried to restart his beef with the rapper by claiming that she snitched on her rapper boyfriend and was somehow the cause of the raids. As you’d expect there’s no evidence of any kind that the claim is true.

Another person who has re-emerged in the wake of the raids is 50 Cent. The rapper has posted about Diddy near-constantly on his Instagram story for months dating back to the original allegations. Twerking Skilla Baby Fan Upsets Boyfriend At Concert: Watch

One fan learned that the hard way after a recent performance, during which the 25-year-old was pleasantly surprised by an eager woman putting her booty back on him in front of the crowd. Rather than calling for security or shoving her away as some entertainers have been known to do with overzealous admirers, he caught what she was throwing and proceeded to pound into her backside while she held onto his black tee.

Dozens of people caught the hot and heavy moment with their phones, and all the while, another patron who appeared to be the woman’s boyfriend was trying to take her off the stage. Though he appeared in the moment at first, once he realized what was happening, Skilla’s face noticeably changed. “He looks incredibly uncomfortable . Let’s talk about that,” one Instagram user observed in @theneighborhoodtalk’s comments. “Once he found out mans was right there he was over it ,” another chimed in.

He had been playing a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but the Superhero franchise cut ties with him immediately following the verdict.

But now the first surprisingly wholesome story relating to the actor in a long time has emerged. That came entirely by chance when he ran into a TMZ Tour Bus that was showing some fans around Hollywood. He had a quick chat with the surprised fans and delighted tour guide before noticing that it was somebody on the tour’s birthday. Following his guilty verdict, Jonathan Majors sat down with ABC for a tell all interview. The highly-anticipated interview saw him doubling down on his claims that he’s completely innocent of all the charges brought against him. Andre 3000 Reveals That His Shift To Ambient Jazz Was Unplanned

Last year, Andre 3000 released his long-awaited debut solo album New Blue Sun. The project surprised and divided much of his fanbase as it saw him shifting his style away from rap entirely into ambient jazz music which prominently featured him playing the flute. Many fans praised his willingness to step so far outside of his comfort zone and try a new style, while others were disappointed that they waited so long specifically for a new rap album from 3k.

Now during a recent performance he gave even more insight into how he arrived at the shift in style. A video captured by a fan depicts his discussion of the process. “‘How you just gon’ be rapping and then just get on stage playing f*cking flutes? Like, I didn’t plan to be the flute n*gga. I didn’t plan to be that. It just kinda, like, it happened. When I started rapping, I didn’t know what it would be. It was just me and Big Boi at the crib watching rap videos,” he explained. “We all freestyling. We all making this shit up as we go along. We have intentions but we don’t really know,” he concluded. Nas Shares New Music Video For “I Love This Feeling”

Last year, Nas concluded his incredibly prolific and critically acclaimed series of collaborations with producer Hit-Boy. Across just 4 years, the pair teamed up to drop 6 albums in two different trilogies. One of which was King’s Disease, the second edition of which came with tons of features and even some high-profile crossovers with artists like Eminem and Ms. Lauryn Hill. The final two releases from the pair were the albums Magic 2 and Magic 3. Each of which features one absolutely standout feature with 50 Cent popping up on Magic 2. While Lil Wayne makes an appearance on Magic 3.

Now Nas has shared some new visuals from a fan-favorite deep cut on Magic 3. The track is called “I Love This Feeling” and it’s the third most popular song on the record according to Spotify streams where it’s cleared 2 million. The new music video has only been out for a few hours and is already racking up tens of thousands of views on YouTube. The highly distinct visuals feature a variety of scenes like Nas driving around in his car, teaching a classroom, and playing chess. Earlier this month, Nas shared some big news for rap fans who also enjoy television. He’s working on the development of a new series. The show is meant to tell the story of the first-ever black grandmaster in chess. Cardi B Claps Back At Fans Who Criticized Her Flo Milli Remix

That came when she teamed up with Flo Milli and SZA for a special version of “Never Lose Me” that landed on Milli’s new album Fine Ho, Stay. The song was already a hit from earlier this year, partially propelled by a remix with Lil Yachty. This week it sits at number 34 on the Hot 100 and it’s expected to rise back up the charts with the new remix.

Despite the success of the song, Cardi B remembers people’s initial reaction to it. In a video she recently shared to her Instagram story she calls out the haters who claimed she wouldn’t “fit in” on the song. The evidence she brings up is pretty hard to dispute. She mentions the hundreds of thousands of people using her audio from the song on TikTok as evidence that people like the song. Drake Shows Off How Much He Sweats During Tour Shows

In one of the clips from his most recent Instagram post, Drake pulls off the white undershirt he’s wearing. Then he wrings an absolute ton of sweat out of it. Over the weekend Drake popped up alongside a college basketball team. He was present with the University Of Houston Cougars when they were awarded one of the four number-one seeds in this year’s March Madness tournament.
