Majid Jordan Release A Wavy Tale About Love On “Hands Tied”

Canada’s alternative R&B outfit, Majid Jordan, has plenty of news to share with their fans. Just a few hours ago, singer Majid Al Maskati and producer Jordan Ullman, announced an album, a new single, and an upcoming tour. This has lots of their fans excited, especially after a couple of years of meticulous planning. We covered the singer-producer duo’s latest track, “Waiting For You” with Naomi Sharon, just a short time ago. That song was a stunning ballad and all three artists sounded beautifully together.

Now, Jordan is upping the ante with this brand-new single, “Hands Tied.” This is a solo cut and is over five minutes long. But, if there is one thing to know about them, Majid Jordan knows how to make it a blissful experience. That is what this track is all about and it delivers. They shared the meaning behind the song on their Instagram, saying, “This is a story about how, in traditional environments, love is a way of connecting. It depicts a young couple who’s hands are tied but they are deeply in love and taking risks to be together.”

They continue, “In private, they reveal more about themselves than they have ever revealed to anyone else in society. The man is happy that he found someone so peaceful and the woman is happy she found someone that makes her feel safe enough to be herself.” On top of this, this and “Waiting For You” will appear on their next album, Good People. The title was confirmed by Rated R&B, however, there is no release date yet. The website and the duo also made it official that they will be going on tour starting in late November and ending in the middle of December.

ASAP Rocky Declares That “DON’T BE DUMB” Will Be His Best Album Yet

ASAP Rocky is one of the few artists who continues to hold back from making a comeback. A few other artists who have not dropped in over five years include his significant other, Rihanna, and Frank Ocean, among others. Travis Scott and Kendrick Lamar were both in that same boat too. However, they finally delivered with their two respective efforts. Most of the music community is now waiting for Rocky to do the same. While he has been keeping busy as of late with singles and features. It was on May 25, 2018, that we got listen to a full body of work from the New Yorker.

TESTING was the name of the project and its title definitely lived up to the name. Rocky experimented a ton sonically, having split fans’ and critics’ opinions in half. After that things slowed down a bit for him, but he has been picking up productivity. ASAP Rocky Does Not Want To Tell Fans What To Expect

Other than the tracks mentioned we really do not know when the project is coming or what sort of direction ASAP is going in. Reports and rumors were circulating that his fourth album could be here by late summer, or early fall, but, still nothing. However, in a recent interview with DAZED, HipHopDX heard some major gassing up from Rocky. He talked about the project and had this to say. “I’ve been really experimenting as usual and what I like about this is it feels like my best work yet.” He further teases fans, saying, “I want to leave expectations wide and open. I don’t want to tell you what to expect. I just want people to experience it how they do naturally.” Well, he is certainly doing a great job of that. But, we could be getting a further development of what TESTING was all about.

CZARFACE And NEMS Spit Incredible Verses On “You Know My Style”

Two of the most slept-on lyricists in hip-hop right now are CZARFACE. The group consisting of Inspectah Deck, 7L, and Esoteric has given rap heads plenty of bar-based bangers for years now with their extensive catalog. Ever since 2013, they have been consistently dropping project after project, and none have really disappointed. As of right now, the trio is up to 12 projects, which do include a few that have just the instrumentals tacked on to them.

Their last effort together was Czarmageddon! back in 2022. What is also really cool and iconic about all of their releases are the creative and colorful album covers. They all center around a comic book style that evokes Marvel and DC very tastefully. Now, we are about to receive another addition to the growing discography in just a few months.

Offset Teases Another Track From “SET IT OFF” With Don Toliver: Listen

Atlanta rapper and Migos affiliate, Offset, has been relentlessly teasing and prodding his fans with tracks off his next album. His solo sophomore release, SET IT OFF, is due to be out on all streaming platforms on October 13. The sales numbers could be swayed due to how much music is expected to be out that day, but, nonetheless, a lot of people will be tuning in. It is for good reason too. Offset has already put out two nice tasters. The first of which was “JEALOUSY” with Cardi B, has already racked up over 27 million streams in just two months.

Following that, on September 15, “FAN” dropped and that got even more people excited. His terrific flows and resentful lyrics about cutting toxic people off made for a great listen. The music video for it was also enticing because of the references to Michael Jackson’s classic song “Thriller.” Offset’s rollout continued with he and Travis Scott bumping a little bit of their track at a listening event. The song is rumored by Offset to be called “SAY MY GRACE.” Finally, the most recent teaser was with Playboi Carti and that has fans buzzing too.

People’s anticipation for this record has to be through the roof now because Offset also let the cat out of the bag again. Don Toliver also appears to be a feature on SET IT OFF. At the same event as the Playboi teaser, he played a snippet of his and Toliver’s song. It sounds like it will be more of an R&B type of vibe with some nice guitar sampling in the instrumental. It should be safe to say this has the makings of a great album for Offset.

Paul Wall And Termanology Drop “No Apologies” With DeAndre Nico And Bun B

Paul Wall and Termanology have an extensive relationship together. This pairing has an endless amount of collaborations under their belt. From team projects to singles, the Texas and New York natives have a tremendous wavelength with each other and all of that previous work together is evidence of that. Back In 2022, Wall and Termanology put out a joint project, Start 2 Finish. It was a tight listen of ten tracks, clocking in at just over 37 minutes. A few features were also on the LP.

Now, the duo is gearing up for their sequel to it called Start, Finish, Repeat. According to HipHopSince1987.com, the second installment is slated for release on a busy day for projects, October 13. There have already been a few lead singles in the rollout of this album. The first one, “Talk About It,” was put out on August 25. Then, we got another offering, “Do It for the Ghetto,” featuring Big K.R.I.T., and Lakeith Rashad. That came out on Septemeber 15.

Peezy Teases New Project With “Psilocybin” Single Featuring BabyTron

Mobile, Alabama rapper Peezy has been dropping tons of material throughout the year. With loads of singles and two albums out, you would think that would be plenty of music for fans to chew over. However, the new name of the game in the hip-hop world is releasing tons of material to drive up your streaming numbers. Peezy is continuing his prolific 2023 with another full-length project coming soon.

To tease the release of GHETTO 2 further, Peezy just put out a new single with bubbling talent, BabyTron. “Psilocybin” is the name of the cut and it is just over two minutes in length. There is also an accompanying music video with a horror movie-like theme to it. Psilocybin is a naturally occurring psychedelic prodrug compound produced by more than 200 species of fungi. Both artists are rapping about it and their lavish lifestyles.

Genius is showing on their website that a few other already-released tracks will also appear on GHETTO 2. 2 Chainz Says Lil Wayne Collab Album “COLLEGROVE 2” Is Coming Very Soon

For years now, we’ve been waiting for a sequel to 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne’s 2016 collaborative project, COLLEGROVE. There’s been a lot of teases, unfulfilled promises, label issues, and more getting in the way of its release so far. In fact, according to the Drench God’s initial statements, the album was supposed to come out in 2020, and we’ve gotten teased about it every year since. Moreover, we finally have our example of this in 2023 thanks to a recent interview with The Source. The College Park, Georgia native said that his team-up sequel with the Hollygrove, New Orleans MC is set to drop this year at the moment.

“COLLEGROVE 2 will be coming out before the year’s over with,” 2 Chainz remarked. “We’ve already shot two visuals, the photo shoot is over. We’re in the process now of mastering records. All the records are mixed, so it’ll be coming soon. I’m so excited about it and I’ve been talking about it so long. I’m anxious at this point to try to get it to the fans’ ears. Hear some of the hard work, and the blood sweat and tears that me and my brother put into this project.”

What’s more is that, in comparison to other teases of COLLEGROVE 2, we have some evidence to back this up. For example, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne were recently spotted filming a music video with Usher. With this in mind, we can only imagine what other big features could appear on the project, although certainly none are necessary. The chemistry between these two MCs will likely be enough to keep the fire burning.

Meanwhile, it seems like they already went through other big final stages for this album, such as the tracklist. Prior to COLLEGROVE, this duo crafted many hits together, so there’s more to follow up than just one album. Drake Shows Love To Houston While Promising “Another Classic” During Concert

If you recall the early days of Drake’s career, you know that Bun B and Houston were instrumental to his rise to superstardom. As such, he always makes sure to show the city the same love that they’ve shown him, and now we know that said respect fuels him to drop the best music possible. Moreover, as you probably know, the Toronto native recently delayed his highly anticipated album For All The Dogs to an early October release. During a show in H-Town, part of his It’s All A Blur tour with 21 S*vage, he spoke to the crowd about their history and the upcoming project.

“They say I’m from Toronto, Canada, but we might have to check the hospital records,” Drake remarked to the thousands of cheering fans. “‘Cause y’all show me too much love in the H-Town, I love y’all for real. I got my album coming out for y’all October 6. I know I pushed it back, but it’s for good reason. ‘Cause I’m trying to represent for the H-Town like I always do. Another classic on the way.”

Of course, even with no new information being revealed here, this is still enough to hype fans up even more for For All The Dogs. What’s more is that this was the 36-year-old’s second show in Houston, the first of which welcomed special guest Johnny Manziel. The Texas-born quarterback had the whole crowd going wild, and it’s one of many examples of Drake acknowledging his strong bond with the city. If not that, then he’s paying Bun B a visit to his Trill Burgers restaurant in H-Town, always giving one of his mentors his flowers.

Offset Is Getting All Of The Toxic People Out Of His Life On “FAN”

Offset is done with all of the games being played on this brand-new lead single. The Georgia native means all business on his song “FAN,” which is going to be the feature track ahead of his next album. He announced this news on his Instagram the same day as the single being released. This will be Offset‘s sophomore solo album, a follow-up to his first effort, FATHER OF 4. That LP had a host of big-name features on it including J. Cole, Travis Scott, Gunna, CeeLo Green, Cardi B, and plenty more to name.

There is no word on who will appear on this next project. All we know right now is the fact that it will be out on October 13, just about a month from now. In the meantime, Offset is here to deliver some anticipation with “FAN,” a two-and-a-half-minute track that talks a lot about removing the toxicity from your life. Whether it be women or men, he is done with all of the extra stress on his mind.

Doja Cat Drops “Scarlet” Tracklist, Fans React

The final piece to the puzzle for Doja Cat’s fourth studio album, Scarlet, is finally here. The 27-year-old recording artist has just given her fans and followers the official tracklist for the project. This may or may not be a surprise for some people, but what you will notice is that there are no features anywhere. Some fans are guessing that there will be hidden features on here, so we will have to wait to hear the album. However, some are saying there will be none, period. Listening day will tell us all we need to know, but for now, here is what we know.

The tracklist stands at 15 songs, which is usually a smart recipe. Many music fans like to say that the magic number for great albums is right around 13-15 tracks long, so we will see if Scarlet can live up to that metric. Additionally, you will see that three familiar song titles land on the LP. Those of course are the three lead singles Doja has released. “Attention,” “Paint The Town Red,” and “Demons,” all make the final cut, which was to be expected.

Of course, this exciting news going to draw some buzz from fans. A lot of people are chiming on the set of songs and some of the comments are just hilarious. One person says, “I want track 3 played at my wedding. Idk what it sounds like but I know I want it.” That third song is titled, “Wet Vag**a,” for those who are wondering. Another person says, “Track 3 is literally me when u post ” Quite a few people are upset that various leaked tracks did not make the final product and are hoping there is a deluxe version. Doja has given us two bonus track versions of her work with Planet Her and Amala.
