Trippie Redd Says Hacker Held Music For $1 Million Ransom

It’s an unfortunate reality for artists that, at some point in their careers, they will face a hacker in one way or another. We’ve watched artists face setbacks following song or album leaks, and others endure having their social media pages taken over by nefarious strangers. Trippie Redd fell victim to a hacker, and he explained to Zane Lowe for Apple Music 1 how that impacted the release of his latest album, Mansion Musik.

A standout track on the project was Trippie’s “KRZY TRAIN” collaboration with Travis Scott. While the pairing was anticipated, some listeners noticed that elements of the song seemed unfinished. “I ain’t really speak on it, but I’m going to speak on it. I was held for ransom on my project,” said the rapper.

Trippie said his hackers demanded $1 million “because they had all my records. Every single last one. All the features.” He felt the need to “rush the project out,” which is why the Travis Scott collab is noticeably different. “That’s what Travis sent to me, I didn’t mix it,” Trippie admitted.

“I had to run with it because if I didn’t, the whole project was going to release,” he continued. “And this has been a big thing. They have been hacking and leaking sh*t like crazy, at least my last two, three albums. I don’t know how they do it. Pegasus, it probably leaked two months before it dropped, bro, and it still did extremely well.”

“I was like, ‘If I don’t drop it now, then it’s going to be out there, and they’re going to hear it regardless. They’re going to hear the bad mix regardless, so I’m going to put it out unmixed and see what they think,” Trippie also shared. “Yeah, the album did leak, actually, two. I work through anything. God got the last laugh, you feel me? Like the devil going to throw so much at you, you can’t really let it bother you. Just take the bruises, you’ll heal eventually.”

50 Cent, Travis Scott, & Terrell Owens Link Up At Houston Golf Tournament

Fans of Travis Scott are still eagerly awaiting updates on his Utopia album. Back in September, the father of two’s Road To Utopia show hinted at potential collaborations with Kid Cudi and Pharrell among others. At this point, though, an approximate release date remains unknown.

He may not have any info to give on his music right now, but the Houston native has certainly been busy with his celebrity friends as of late. Scott appears on Trippie Redd’s new album, specifically lending his vocal talents to a track titled “KRZY TRAIN.” Additionally, he linked up with 50 Cent earlier this week for a golf tournament in his hometown.

On Monday (January 30), Fif uploaded a photo to his Instagram feed. It sees him, the Astroworld artist, and athlete Terrell Owens posting together out on the green. The latter two men rock dark outfits, with Scott even being brave enough to don shorts mid-winter.

The “I Get Money” hitmaker, for his part, paired light grey pants with a white polo tee. He was also repping his hometown on his hat. “Mr. October foundation golf tournament,” 50’s caption reads. “This is the place to be.”

Elsewhere, videos of Scott getting lit during the game are circulating on social media. Yesterday, @2cool2bl0g shared one of the Texas native chatting with bartenders while sipping on a pink slushy drink. It was seemingly made with the Power producer’s liquor brand.

In his usual fashion, 50 Cent entertained the crowd with a speech at the golf tournament. The 47-year-old said, “This is really exciting for me to be here, personally, I’m really enjoying myself. And that part where he said, ‘If you’re 50 and older,’ that meant they had skills because they had time to learn the game.”

“Don’t think because you got muscles that it’s gonna mean something today,” the rapper joked. “It is all about technique, and you’re gonna get a chance to see some real action out here today. I like to talk my game down so I can over-perform… When you see what’s going on, you know you’ll be impressed by me a little bit.”

Fif also admitted to spending some time at the local driving range ahead of the event, because he hates to be in “situations where [he] don’t mean nothing.”

The New Yorker and Houston native have been spending plenty of time together as of late, and the newest photos certainly aren’t the last we’ll see of them. Earlier this month, we found out that 50 Cent and Travis Scott will take to the stage at the upcoming Wireless Festival in London.

The lineups for Rolling Loud Los Angeles and Rolling Loud Portugal were previously announced, impressing hip-hop fans with headliners like Future, Playboi Carti, and Travis Scott for the former festival location and Scott, Carti, and Meek Mill for the latter. Now the lineup for Rolling Loud Thailand is out — and headliners include the Astroworld rapper again as well as Chris Brown and Cardi B.

Other guests on the roster are A$AP Ferg, Lil Uzi Vert, Rick Ross, DaBaby, Rae Sremmurd, Offset, Ski Mask The Slump God, Waka Flocka Flame, Soulja Boy, Fat Joe, Central Cee, Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, Bktherula, Teriyaki Boyz, and many more.

It’ll take place at Legend Siam in Pattaya on April 13-15, 2023; it’s the first time ever occurring in Thailand. Ticket information can be found here.

Ironically, DaBaby is performing at Rolling Loud Thailand, considering he claimed that his notorious performance at Rolling Loud Miami in 2021 cost him $100 million because of his homophobic remarks that lost him fans and brand deals. “I ain’t into all of the conspiracy theories, this and that,” he said on Hot97’s Ebro In The Morning show. “Until you see it really cost a n****s a $100 million within a year’s span.”

Kylie Jenner Reacts To TikTok Poking Fun At Her & Travis Scott’s Son’s Name: Video

No matter what Kylie Jenner does, due to her A-list celebrity status, she frequently falls victim to online criticism. Whether for her on-again-off-again relationship with Travis Scott, exuberant wealth, or her fashion choices, the 25-year-old is no stranger to having social media rip into her.

The talk of the town lately has been the new name bestowed upon the socialite’s youngest child with the rapper. Shortly after his birth, the couple chose Wolf Webster thanks to a recommendation from big sister Khloé Kardashian.

“We didn’t really have a name. I just thought it was going to come to us when we saw him and it didn’t,” Jenner previously told the world on The Late Late Show with James Corden. “Twenty-four hours before we had to sign the birth certificate, or else they just register him without a name and he doesn’t get a social security number.”

The mother of two went on, “I  like the WW, so we just put Wolf Webster in that moment. Right after I signed the birth certificate, I was like, “What did I just do?” It’s a part of his story but his name has changed.”

For several months, fans were kept in the dark regarding the infant’s new title. Just a few days ago, however, Jenner broke the internet. At the time she unveiled her baby’s name – Aire – and adorable face all at once.

It’s undoubtedly one of the more unique options out there. The world has been having a field day poking fun at how it came to be. In one TikTok, a creator plays both Kylie and Travis as they decide on their son’s name.

Using the opening narration from Avatar: The Last Airbender, they list off the four elements in character as the makeup mogul. When she gets to “air,” the Utopia rapper jumps to his feet, signalling an interest.

The comedic clip has since earned over 2M likes and countless comments – including one from Jenner. Beneath the clip, she dropped off two crying laughing emojis. This lets the world know she’s laughing at their antics along with them.

Aside from the commentary surrounding her baby, Jenner has also been facing heat for a few of her Paris Fashion Week looks. First, she donned a giant lion’s head for the Schiaparelli couture show. After that, her Givenchy noose necklace had Twitter users throwing mega shade.
