Lil Uzi Vert Previews Track From “The Pink Tape” At Summer Smash, Stage Dives

Yesterday, Lil Uzi Vert took the stage at Bridgeview, IL’s Summer Smash music festival. The artist previewed a track from their highly-anticipated upcoming album, The Pink Tape. Fans went wild for Uzi’s performance, which also featured them diving into the excited crowd.

Lil Uzi Vert has continued to tease The Pink Tape. Although they’ve not confirmed an official release date, Uzi previously claimed it’d be dropping this month. They said they’d go to great lengths to ensure the album comes out in time, claiming, “Even if I have to drop it myself, it’s coming out at the end of the month.” Some fans were speculating that the artist would release the album on June 23, which is National Pink Day in the U.S. Unfortunately, fans were disappointed when the holiday came and went, with no new Uzi album in sight.

Lil Uzi Vert At Summer Smash

Earlier this month, Uzi shared what was believed to be the cover art for The Pink Tape. They shared the trippy artwork in an Instagram Story, going on to tease some potential collabs. They posted photos of both Playboi Carti and Ken Carson, leading fans to believe they may appear on the new LP. Uzi later claimed that after dropping the official artwork, they plan on destroying their phone. “I think after I drop the cover I’m gonna break my phone and I’m not gonna need a phone anymore. I’m just gonna let it work, I don’t want a phone anymore,” they said. “I’m done with having a phone. I don’t really need a phone. If people wanna contact me, via email or you can call my management.” DJ Akademiks also previously claimed that Travis Scott appears on The Pink Tape.

Lil Uzi Vert has gradually shared bits of information with fans who eagerly await their next release. They’ve previewed various tracks on social media, furthering hype surrounding the LP. Though fans aren’t exactly sure when they can expect to hear it, it’s safe to say that when The Pink Tape finally drops, it’s going to be major.

Kid Cudi Expresses Excitement For “UTOPIA” & “The Pink Tape”

Hopefully this tweet means that Mr. Rager is featured on one or both of these highly anticipated 2023 albums. Moreover, Kid Cudi recently took to the social media platform to express his excitement for Travis Scott’s UTOPIA and Lil Uzi Vert’s The Pink Tape. Both albums are rumored to drop very soon this year, with Uzi’s being teased to death these days and presumably dropping on June 30. Sure, UTOPIA is in a similar place of endless hype, but there’s less concrete details directly from La Flame’s mouth in comparison to what Baby Pluto has given us so far. While Cudi has never worked with Uzi before, the excitement should be nothing new considering recent news.

Furthermore, Kid Cudi tapped Lil Uzi Vert to perform at his upcoming Moon Man’s Landing Festival in 2023. As such, presumably the two have a good working relationship, and thus a good reason to collaborate. Maybe that’s wishful thinking, but at least that doesn’t have the pressure of a Cudi and Travis Scott link-up. After all, their potential collaborative project has been confirmed, discarded, or put on hold in the past.

Kid Cudi’s Ready For New Lil Uzi Vert & Travis Scott

Regardless, fans still desperately want the Ohio native to appear on UTOPIA considering their previous chemistry. Travis Scott might even appear on The Pink Tape, too. Nevertheless, whereas Uzi’s dropping snippets and carrying their next album on a USB, Houston’s own has his in a briefcase. With more pictures of him in the studio with the likes of Mike Dean, it seems like it’s finally time.

Meanwhile, the “PORSCHE TOPLESS” creative is busy teasing new drops of his own coming soon. In fact, all three artists are dangling their next moves in front of their fanbases, quite cruelly but also quite excitingly. It’s felt like a while since we’ve had so many big releases seemingly coming back to back. If nothing else, it’s nice to know that there are a lot of other fanbases out there that are going through the same desperation and impatience that you are- and even the artists themselves can relate. Lil Uzi Vert Shares Yet Another Snippet Ahead Of “The Pink Tape”

They’re just going to keep teasing us until it drops, but that doesn’t make the slew of snippets any less exciting. Moreover, Lil Uzi Vert has been on an absolute social media rampage as of late, sharing more information and snippets their upcoming and highly anticipated album, The Pink Tape. While previous teases were more within the Philly star’s established lane, this newest one shared via Instagram Live on Monday (June 19) is a bit different. Furthermore, it sounds like a more rage-inspired cut, not unlike collab tracks with Yeat like “Flawless,” “3G,” and “Big tonka.” Regardless, it still contains some of what makes Uzi such a beloved artist.

For one, there’s the strained and falsetto vocal delivery that they play with about halfway throughout the snippet. Lil Uzi Vert is known for often displaying unique vocals with fast, yet melodic flows. Even though this snippet is no different, what makes it stand out is its buzzy synths and compressed snares that give it a rage feel. Some fans might want Uzi to stick to their guns, but it’s always exciting to see artists at least try to catch up with newer sounds.

Lil Uzi Vert’s Latest Snippet

Of course, we doubt that the 27-year-old will have much difficulty riding a beat like that with ease by the time The Pink Tape drops. Regardless, in addition to these new snippets, Lil Uzi Vert gave us some details on the album. One of those is that they continued to hint at a possible feature from Playboi Carti, one of the most requested team-ups (or rather reunions) right now. “Not that many features but the features that everybody thinks I should have… basically, where I started at is where I’ma finish,” they expressed on Instagram Live.

Meanwhile, they said that the album is less than two weeks away, meaning that it should come out at least on June 30. They also confirmed that a Ken Carson-produced cut will make the tracklist. Overall, fans can’t wait to see what Uzi cooked up for them, and each new song adds to that excitement. For the latest updates and news on Lil Uzi Vert, stay logged into HNHH.

The Pink Tape is Uzi’s first major release since 2020. During the first year of the pandemic, Uzi dropped Eternal Atake and Pluto x Baby Pluto, the latter being a collaborative album with Future. Eternal Atake spent two weeks at #1 in March while Pluto x Baby Pluto peaked at #2. Furthermore, Uzi has released two collaborative tracks this year – “I’m Not Human” featuring XXXTentacion and “Watch This” remixed by ArizonaTears. However, Uzi has now shared some more details about what fans can expect from The Pink Tape.

In addition to teasing the release date for The Pink Tape this week, Uzi also posted photos of Playboi Carti and Ken Carson, leading to speculation that they’ll appear on the tracklist. Uzi further showcased what could be the album’s cover in an Instagram story from Friday night.

Lil Uzi Vert Teases “The Pink Tape”

Uzi has been teasing The Pink Tape for years at this point, although their updates have gotten more frequent in recent months. In March, Uzi revealed to TMZ that they were sober for the recording of the project. “It was challenging at first. But then after probably after a month, I got used to it,” Uzi said. “I thought that my creative process wasn’t going to be the same because I wasn’t on drugs no more. It was the same. Even better. Because I could think more clear and I could actually, like, instead of my words slurring, which is kinda of cool, everything made sense. I didn’t just make random music. How can I say? I didn’t play off the beat. I actually made song with topics this time.”

Lil Uzi Vert Teases More New Music With Bass-Heavy Banger On Instagram Live

Lil Uzi Vert’s The Pink Tape is easily one of 2023’s most anticipated and hyped projects not just in hip-hop, but across all genres. That speaks to the reach, acclaim, and success that the Philly native achieved across their stellar career, a status that they’re clearly well-aware of. Moreover, over the past few weeks or so, there’s been no shortage of snippets, teases, and full song previews on the rapper’s social media pages. Particularly on Instagram Live, they shared a lot of as-of-yet unreleased music, whose catalog just got a new entry recently. Hopefully Uzi isn’t capping with the claim that their next album will release later this month.

As for the snippet itself, it’s honestly what you’d expect from the “Watch This” MC, but it doesn’t make it any less fire. There are some powerful and deep bass hits all over the track that really ground it and give it a grimy feel. Of course, there are the trademark Lil Uzi Vert synths present throughout, that do an equally good job of providing both melody and atmosphere. As far as Uzi’s performance, there’s a repetitious chorus and the usual cycled flows, but also plenty of breaks and switch-ups. In addition, no one can rap fast quite like they can, with rapid-fire lines zooming by without messing up their vocal cadence or style too much.

Lil Uzi Vert’s Latest Pink Tape Teaser Track

In other Pink Tape-related news, many fans wondered what features, if any, would appear, since Eternal Atake had just one, that being Syd of The Internet fame. However, according to DJ Akademiks and seemingly confirmed by acclaimed producer BNYX, Lil Uzi Vert’s next full-length will feature none other than Houston’s own Travis Scott. While La Flame has his own anticipated-to-death album to worry about in UTOPIA, such a link-up is likely to cause fireworks. The two have only officially collaborated once before on the track “Watch” featuring Kanye West.

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old is making sure that The Pink Tape stays safe and sound by carrying it around in a USB around his neck. Even though it may seem more like a promo move than anything, we’re all way too familiar with leaks and hackers ruining the fun for artists these days. All we can hope for is that Uzi plugs that drive in soon and graces us with more bangers like the ones they’ve teased so far. On that note, for the latest on Lil Uzi Vert, stay posted on HNHH.

Travis Scott Will Reportedly Be On Lil Uzi Vert’s “The Pink Tape”

Travis Scott is one of the biggest artists in the entire world right now, and fans are always excited to see what he is going to drop next. Of course, he is working on UTOPIA which has been teased into oblivion. However, he has not given an exact timeline for the release. Although some within his label said June, there is no guarantee that actually happens. Overall, this has been frustrating for a lot of Scott fans, although, he is working on the final touches, which is very encouraging news.

Recently, DJ Akademiks was on his live stream where he spoke at length about Lil Uzi Vert and their new album The Pink Tape. This new album is going to be dropping close to the end of the month, or at least that’s what they want you to believe. That said, Akademiks revealed that there will be some special features on the album. In fact, Travis Scott is going to be one of them. Overall, this was some unbelievable news for a lot of fans. However, it was backed up by producer BNYX who tweeted about his involvement in the song.

If you have been paying attention, BNYX is one of the best producers in the game right now. He has definitely been gaining a ton of traction because of Yeat. Most of Yeat’s biggest hits are a direct result of BNYX’s incredible production. Moreover, he has worked with Uzi in the past as they have already collaborated with Yeat twice before. Needless to say, fans are going to be in for an absolute treat with this new project.

Hopefully, we hear something new off of The Pink Tape, very soon. Uzi has taken to Instagram on a few occasions to tease some songs. However, they have yet to release a lead single or give any indication of an official release date. Let us know what your expectations for the album are, in the comments section down below.
