Travis Scott Brings The Energy To His New Collaboration With Lil Uzi Vert For ‘Aye’

Lil Uzi Vert just unleashed Pink Tape. With 26 tracks, an unexpected cover of System Of A Down’s “Chop Suey,” and features from Nicki Minaj, Bring Me The Horizon, Don Toliver, and more, it’s a must-listen. However, the most exciting collaboration on the album might be “Aye” with Travis Scott.

“Aye” is sure to be a hit as a live performance. The track is invigorating all the way through: “I put them diamonds my teeth (Aye) / Might put somе diamonds my nose (Aye) / Aye, I put them diamonds my teeth (Aye) / Might put some diamonds my nosе (Aye, huh?).” The two rappers together bring a lot of energy to the table.

The unveiling of this song is a relief for fans of the “Sicko Mode” performer, whose highly anticipated new album Utopia still doesn’t have an official release date. However, billboards recently intimated that the album might be arriving on July 21. The ongoing delay is a result of the 2021 Astroworld tragedy, which he will not face charges for: “He never encouraged people to do anything that resulted in other people being hurt… Travis is not responsible,” his lawyer Kent Schaffer said. There were 10 deaths and hundreds of injuries.

Lil Uzi Vert’s Unexpected Cover Of System Of A Down’s ‘Chop Suey’ From ‘Pink Tape’ Has Fans Divided

Lil Uzi Vert’s Pink Tape has been a long time coming, but at last, it’s finally here. The project dropped at midnight and since then, it has taken over social media. Fans have been particularly whipped into a frenzy by the song “CS,” which turns out to be a cover of System Of A Down’s 2001 signature song “Chop Suey!.”

After the album’s release, the phrases “Chop Suey” and “SOAD” were trending on Twitter. Some Uzi fans are pumped, like one who wrote, “Lil Uzi Vert sampling Shinsuke Nakamura’s WWE theme song, doing a cover to System Of A Down’s classic Chop Suey, and making a song with bands like Bring Me The Horizon and BABYMETAL was not on my 2023 bingo card. I have 0 complaints. It kicks ass and I want more of it.”

Meanwhile, some System Of A Down enthusiasts aren’t super impressed. One tweeted, “me seeing that system of a down is trending only to realize that people are talking about some mid ass chop suey cover,” alongside the meme of SpongeBob SquarePants‘ Squidward setting up a folding chair before going back inside in disappointment.

Lil Uzi Vert And Trippie Redd Link Up At “Pink Tape” Party

In case you didn’t know, Lil Uzi Vert just announced their long-awaited new album The Pink Tape. The young star and “Just Wanna Rock” hitmaker is following up three albums they released in 2020. Early that year they dropped the highly anticipated Eternal Atake. That was followed up by the shorter and more feature-heavy LUV vs. The World 2. And later in the year, they teamed up with Future for a collaborative album called Pluto x Baby Pluto. Now the follow-up is just a few days away and Uzi is celebrating.

Last night, Lil Uzi Vert hosted a party in anticipation of The Pink Tape‘s release later this week. In the aftermath of the party, photos emerged of Uzi hanging out with fellow singer and rapper Trippie Redd. The pair have teamed up on music at least once before. Uzi appears on the song “Holy Smokes” from Trippie’s 2021 album Trip At Knight. The pair also have some unreleased music that has leaked in the past.

Lil Uzi Vert And Trippie Redd Together

Trippie Redd isn’t the only old friend that Lil Uzi Vert has reunited with recently. Yesterday an adorable new video emerged of Uzi running into interviewer Nardwuar. The pair did a timeless interview together back in 2018 that fans still reference and joke about. In the new video, they reunite to give each other hugs and express how much they’ve missed each other.

Lil Uzi Vert’s album announcement did draw most of the headlines but it wasn’t their only recent news. In a statement recently Uzi claimed they’re a better dresser than A$AP Rocky. The claim had fans online comparing Uzi’s fits to the notoriously fashionable rapper. The Pink Tape is set to be released on June 30th. The album has received a trailer and updated cover since its original announcement. Uzi also performed a song from the project at the BET Awards over the weekend. What do you think of Lil Uzi Vert and Trippie Redd’s link-up? Let us know in the comment section below.

Lil Uzi Vert & JT Embrace During “Pink Tape” Party

Lil Uzi Vert and JT made headlines at the BET Awards recently. Overall, this is due to the fact that JT threw her phone at Uzi near the end of the show. Ultimately, it was quite the scene, with many claiming that it all had to do with Ice Spice. However, since that time, the Ice Spice rumors have since been cleared up. Now, many are wondering where Uzi and JT will go from here. Some claimed that the two had broken up. Although, based on the information below, it is clear that they are still together.

On Friday, Lil Uzi Vert will be dropping The Pink Tape. Fans are very excited to finally get to hear this project. So far, we have only gotten one single in the form of “Just Wanna Rock.” That said, there are supposed to be 26 tracks on this album, which means a ton of fresh new songs are on the horizon. Additionally, to celebrate the album, Uzi held a “Pink Tape” prom on Tuesday night. In the clips below, you can see that JT was actually in attendance.

Lil Uzi Vert Announces The Imminent Release Date For ‘The Pink Tape’ With An Anime-Themed Trailer

For the past couple of years, Lil Uzi Vert has been teasing the release of their third studio album, The Pink Tape. However, much like the release of Uzi’s prior album, Eternal Atake, the rollout has been… let’s just say, “less than smooth.” Uzi’s producer Lyle Leduff posited that the genre-bending, gender-nonconforming artist had recorded over 1,500 songs, prompting them to push it back to make sure it “won’t suck.”

Today, Uzi rewarded fans’ patience by announcing the official release date for The Pink Tape: This Friday, June 30. Uzi announced the release with a heavy metal-backed, anime-inspired trailer that sees Uzi in full action-movie-hero guise, sword fighting their way through an ancient temple as the guardians blast at Uzi with pink energy beams. The trailer ends with Uzi acquiring a pink stone from the final guardian and putting it — where else? — on his forehead, right where he previously sported a pink gem of his own before taking it out due to some fan jostling.

Uzi also shared the album cover art via XXL‘s Twitter page. You can check that out below.

Lil Uzi Vert Delivers Trailer For “The Pink Tape”

Lil Uzi Vert has had a very interesting 24 hours. Of course, it all started when they performed at the BET Awards. During their performance, they played “Just Wanna Rock,” as well as a brand-new song that had never been heard before. Additionally, Uzi got into a huge argument with JT that had the entire internet talking. For the most part, people assumed it had to do with Ice Spice. However, that turned out to not be the case. Either way, it was a wild few hours for Uzi who was in all of the headlines.

However, this afternoon, they are making headlines for a completely different set of reasons. This is because their website updated to reflect that The Pink Tape is dropping this Friday. Overall, this came as a big shock to people. While June seemed like a likely time for the album to be released, no one actually thought that Uzi would make good on their promise. Well, they have and they even have the cover art to make it that much more real.

Lil Uzi Vert x Gibson Hazard

Additionally, Lil Uzi Vert teamed up with Gibson Hazard for a brand-new trailer for the album. As you can see above, this trailer is wild and has all sorts of amazing aesthetics and editing tricks. Hazard has been at it for a long time, and it’s cool to see Hazard work with an artist like Uzi in this capacity. The Pink Tape is going to be a huge moment for hip-hop, and fans are ready. Hopefully, we get to see that tracklist, very soon.

Overall, it has been over three years since Lil Uzi Vert delivered Eternal Atake. Having said that, there are some very high expectations right now. Only time will tell whether or not they can meet those expectations. Let us know which features you hope to see, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world.

Lil Uzi Vert has been teasing fans with the release of The Pink Tape for a very long time. The last time they released a project was all the way back in 2020 with Eternal Atake. Although we have gotten some songs here and there, Uzi has largely remained dormant. However, that has certainly changed over the last few weeks. The artist has frequently taken to Instagran Live where they have showcased new snippets. Moreover, there have been plenty of hits as to when the album would be released and who would be on it.

This album certainly fits the aesthetic that Uzi has been trying to go far. We get Uzi standing in the middle of what looks to be an apocalyptic scene. Moreover, they have an American flag that has been given pink stripes. There is also a diamond eye in the middle of the scene, which certainly adds an eerie element to the entire thing. Overall, this is very unique cover art, and we’re sure fans are going to have a thing or two to say about it.

Hopefully, we get the tracklist very soon. Let us know what you think of this rollout, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the music world. We will always be sure to keep you informed.

Lil Uzi Vert Dazzles Fans With Performance Of New Song

Lil Uzi Vert is an artist that a lot of people want to hear from right now. As it stands, Uzi is in the midst of teasing their new album, The Pink Tape. Originally, Uzi claimed that this album would be released in June. However, that has yet to materialize. Additionally, there is only one week left in the month, which means we might not actually get the album in June, after all. Although this is disappointing, the sheer abundance of snippets we have received indicates that it is at least coming soon.

Last night, Lil Uzi Vert was at the BET Awards. Overall, it was a huge awards show as some of the biggest stars in all of hip-hop showed up to the stage. Moreover, it was a special time as it was a celebration of the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. It was a fun night, and Uzi was a huge part of it. This is mostly due to the fact that they got to start off the show with a performance of “Just Wanna Rock.” In fact, there was also a demonstration of a brand-new song. This performance can be seen down below.

Lil Uzi Vert Delivers New Song

Overall, the song was received well by fans. Not to mention, it is clear that Uzi is going in an obvious direction for their new album. Although this song might not be to everyone’s taste, it is still very much in the same stratosphere as “Just Wanna Rock.” Unfortunately, not everyone enjoyed the song. According to reports, JT threw a phone at Uzi and even called them a groupie after mentioning Ice Spice in the new track. Although the reason for the incident is unknown, the speculation has run rampant.

No matter what, it is clear that we need The Pink Tape sooner rather than later. Hopefully, this is a project that lives up to the hype. Let us know your expectations for it, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the music world.
