Sacha Baron Cohen’s Ali G Character Will Return On Upcoming Comedy Tour

51-year-old Sacha Baron Cohen has kept us laughing by bringing figures like Borat and Bruno to life throughout his career, but before those came to life, he spent his days playing Ali G. As Variety reports, this year marks the British character’s 25th anniversary, and to celebrate, Cohen is taking his famous yellow tracksuit on tour. Fans were hoping that the comedian’s recent teaser meant a movie was in the works, but it’s been made clear that he’s on strike with the rest of the industry.

“As a SAG and WGA member he is supporting the ongoing strike alongside his fellow writers and actors,” a source told the outlet. Regardless, we’re still happy to hear Cohen is hitting the road as Ali G for the first time since his 2021 appearance at The Comedy Story in Sydney, Australia. “I just wanted to get on stage and muck around and see what Ali G would be like with a crowd,” The Dictator star said at the time. “It was really good fun.”

When he first rose to fame, Ali G was a regular fixture on The 11 O’Clock Show. He would sit down with public figures, including politicians and judges, to conduct odd interviews. Cohen’s character quickly became known as the “voice of youth,” and his early work helped to cement the foundations for his career as a comedy legend. Da Ali G Show began airing in the early 2000s, which ultimately also introduced us to his other alter egos – Borat, the Kazakh reporter, and Bruno, the fashion-lover from Austria.

Aside from bringing back Ali G, Sacha Baron Cohen has also been busy making movie magic in David O’Russell’s Super Toys. The comedian will star alongside Keke Palmer as “a duo of groovy ’70s toy sales reps on a life-and-death mission” in the upcoming film. The Weeknd Previews “Another One of Me,” Final Feature Of His Career Unless Daft Punk Reconnects

The Weeknd’s vocal chops have long regarded him as one of the best in the music industry today. During a recent concert, he revealed that he has no future plans for guest features – save for one special duo that he’s long looked up to. As Pitchfork reports, the Canadian is currently touring through Europe on his After Hours Til Dawn tour. On stage in Warsaw, he teased a new verse that could mark his last time collaborating with another artist.

“And I just wanna say, this, this is gonna be the last feature I ever do, ever in my career, so I wanna perform it for you guys tonight,” Abel Tesfaye said before belting out “Another One of Me.” It remains unclear who else will appear alongside the Dawn FM artist, or when the complete version is expected to be released. While fans are certainly sad to hear this could be The Weeknd’s last joint effort, he did leave us with some hope for the future. “The final feature… Unless Daft Punk ever get back together,” he wrote via Twitter on Friday (August 11).

The electronic artists announced the end of their lengthy 28-year run together in February 2021. Prior to going their separate ways, Daft collaborated with The Weeknd on “I Feel It Coming” and the title track from his Starboy LP, both of which were performed at the 2017 Grammy Awards. In the past, the Uncut Gems actor has credited the French creatives as “one of the reasons [he makes] music.”

It’s unclear what the likelihood of a Daft Punk renaissance is at this time, but seeing as he’s still so young, fans of Tesfayes are hoping that he doesn’t retire from making music with his contemporaries quite yet. Elsewhere during his ongoing European tour, The Weeknd left audiences stunned as he managed to hold a 15-second note. Pusha T Needle Drop Hypes “Modern Warfare III” Trailer

Activision are continuing their trend of revitalizing their storied Call of Duty franchise with another remake. The remake of Modern Warfare III, originally released in 2011, will drop in November. The move to modernize some of the best-regarded titles in the long-running franchise has been well-received by many fans. Former Call of Duty pro, and founder of esports org 100 Thieves, Christopher “Nadeshot” Haag said that news of the game so far appears to indicate that Sledgehammer, the studio behind MW3 is “giving us everything we’ve been asking for.”

Modern Warfare III picks up immediately after Modern Warfare II. Soap, Price, and Nikolai are on the run after the murder of Lieutenant General Shepard. Of course, it doesn’t appear to matter that Shepard had just detonated a nuke, that’s just geopolitics for you. Most of the game is spent playing Yuri, a former Spetznaz operator who joins Price in his hunt for Russian ultranationalist Vladimir Makarov. Activision has since dropped a teaser for the game, including some absolute choice music.

The teaser follows big bad Makarov being escorted through prison to receive a new tattoo. Meanwhile, Soap gives one of his usual sonorous monologues about stopping evil. This is overlaid with footage of some of the game’s more iconic moments – a terror attack in London, Makarov bringing down a plane carrying the President of Russia. All in all, it’s an incredibly hype trailer ahead of the “worldwide reveal” on August 17.

A majority of the trailer is scored to Colonel Bagshot’s 1971 single “Six Day War”. However, right at the end, as Makarov looks to the camera, there is an amazing Pusha T needle drop. Pusha sampled “Six Day War” on “Just So You Remember” last year and it’s that intense line (My Joker smile, you know who the villain is/Just so you remember who you dealin’ with…) that hear right at the end of the video. Furthermore, Pusha shared the video to his Instagram with the lyrics in the caption.

Lil Yachty recently hopped on social media, letting followers know what they have to look forward to. According to the Georgia-born rapper, he’s got new music in the works that’ll be coming to fans soon. He managed to stir up some excitement among users in his comments section, who have made it clear that they’re eager to hear what he has to offer them next.

“More music otw!¡” Lil Yachy simply captioned the post. He also shared a selfie, where he’s seen menacingly staring down the camera. He rocks what appears to be a zebra print sweater with brightly colored details, along with a coordinating rainbow beanie and some shades. It’s unclear exactly what the artist will offer fans next, but whatever it is, they look forward to it. Earlier this month, he dropped Slide after first teasing it in July. The three-track EP has fans hoping that his new music will live up to his last release.

The rapper also dropped his latest full-length LP at the beginning of this year. He unveiled his fifth studio album, Let’s Start Here, in January. It debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200, going on to sell 36K album-equivalent units in its first week. In July, Lil Yachty then leaked six songs on his alternate SoundCloud account, leading fans to believe that he was coming up on something big. With that being said, very few specifics of his next release have been unveiled.

Lil Yachty is scheduled to set off on “The Field Trip” tour next month, kicking off with a performance in Washington, DC. Before setting off on the expedition, however, he’ll do a few festival performances in the next couple of weeks. After closing the North American leg of the tour with a Detroit show in November, he’ll head to Europe to perform in Oslo, Berlin, London, Paris, and more.

Westside Gunn’s And Then You Pray For Me, the sequel to his critically acclaimed 2020 album Pray For Paris, is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated projects of 2023. Sure, there have been a few delays, but what’s a hyped rollout without them? Moreover, he recently published a teaser clip on Instagram with Washington, D.C. dancer Cartier Williams tap-dancing in what appears to be Times Square. In fact, Williams also tap-danced to Flygod’s track “Perfect Plex” at the Off-White menswear show at Paris Fashion Week 2020. That show was led by the late great Virgil Abloh, a friend of Gunn’s who collaborated on art direction and cover design for Pray For Paris, and he honored him in this teaser’s caption.

Cam’ron recently dropped a teaser for his upcoming “Only Money” music video alongside Ma$e. The hilarious trailer has now left several fans wanting more of the duo’s onscreen chemistry. Some social media users are even calling for the pair to star in a buddy film together. “We need a movie asap,” one fan writes. In the clip, Cam’ron and Ma$e are shown having a conversation inside of an armored vehicle. Cam’ron shakes his head at Ma$e, who’s driving. “I think you taking this ‘get our own money sh*t a little bit too far,” he tells him, “Like, we gonna pick up our own money? The funny conversation is a callback to a previous feud between the duo, which reportedly involved money. Apparently, Cam’ron felt as though he didn’t get a fair deal when he signed to RichFish Records. The longtime beef was finally squashed in 2022, and Ma$e later claimed to have regretted it. “That’s one of the relationships I regret. I think I got two that I regret, and going at Killa, I wanted to do that but that was like my n***a, you know what I’m saying? So that really hurt me,” he told the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast.

“My problem with I think Cam was just that they thought I had money I didn’t have,” he continued, “Like I just told you I was flexing crazy, so n****s was like, ‘Yo, Murda ain’t sharing the bag.’ I never got the bag. Now that we looking back you can see he never got that bag, and then by the time I got the bag we was enemies already.” Fans are glad to see that the two of them are now able to turn their former beef into something positive.

6ix9ine has seemingly teased a return to the rap scene with a scorching new teaser. The rapper briefly stepped away from the genre at the start of 2023. This led to the release of Leyenda Viva, a Spanish-language reggaeton album in June. While Leyenda Viva didn’t break into the Billboard 200, it did peak at #19 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart. 6ix9ine’s last rap project was 2020’s TattleTales, which featured the likes of Akon and Nicki Minaj.

In a clip reshared by DJ Akademiks on Instagram, 6ix9ine is seen vaping and drinking in a recording studio. He then begins lip-syncing what is presumably his new song to the camera. It’s a return to 6ix9ine’s signature style. One particular lyric that viewers took note of was the line “If you see the cops shhh don’t make it hot.” While it would typically be considered a fire bar, many people are calling bullshit. It’s a bold line to drop by someone who has been accused multiple times of snitching.

It’s unclear what 6ix9ine is working on. Obviously, the video indicates that there is going to be at least one new single coming soon. However, what is unclear is if this is a standalone release, or if 6ix9ine will be dropping two albums this year. On that front we’ll just have to wait and see.

Of course, it’s not the only reason that people are talking about 6ix9ine at the moment. The rapper has been involved in a beef with Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA for the past few days. Their Twitter beef escalated, with both sides making serious allegations about the other. However, it really boils down to both sides calling the other a deadbeat dad who neglects their children and partners. However, 6ix9ine did go as far as to claim that AA physically abused his pregnant ex. Of course, AA refuted the claim and took the opportunity to remind everyone that 6ix9ine pled guilty to charges involving sexual misconduct with a minor in 2015.

When Blueface first found out that Chrisean Rock is once again pregnant earlier this year, his initial reaction was to deny being the baby’s father. The 26-year-old faced an abundance of backlash at the time for disrespecting his Crazy In Love co-star publicly, telling the world that she allegedly slept with a handful of men that he thought could also be responsible for her pregnancy. A paternity test has since proven that Blueface is the little one’s father (however, the rapper’s mother wants them to take another, just to be sure), and as the second season of their Zeus reality series nears closer to premiering on Sunday (July 16), fans are finally getting insight into why the MILF Music founder wasn’t feeling confident in Rock.

“That’s your fault,” he tells her in a teaser that hit social media on Friday night. “How is it my fault?” the 23-year-old asks her beau. “Because you lie a lot,” Blue clarifies. “When you lie a lot, motherf**kers question your child. That’s how life works. The little lies that you get away with so often? They come back and haunt you with something super big,” he continues to rant for claiming that Rock lied about “having sex with ten dudes.”

Busta Rhymes has wiped his Instagram page clean, replacing his posts with a single image of a beachball. The iconic New York rapper seemingly teased the release date for new music in the caption, writing the date, June 23, 2023, with an eyes emoji.

After Busta uploaded the image, several high-profile producers shared the post on their own pages. Among them were DJ Khaled and Dre of Cool & Dre. Swizz Beatz and Hitmaka also commented on Busta’s post.

DJ Akademiks also recently revealed that Travis Scott is set to be featured on The Pink Tape, describing the collaboration as “fire.” They’re keeping the project under wraps for now, however, by wearing a USB around their neck.

Lil Uzi Vert has also shared that they were sober throughout the recording process of the new album. “It was challenging at first. But then after probably after a month, I got used to it,” Uzi told TMZ. “I thought that my creative process wasn’t going to be the same because I wasn’t on drugs no more. It was the same. Even better. Because I could think more clear and I could actually, like, instead of my words slurring, which is kinda of cool, everything made sense. I didn’t just make random music. How can I say?
