B.G. Rat Chain Proves His Disdain For Snitches

For those locked up in prison, coming back home after serving a sentence can feel even better than Christmas Day. Cash Money artist B.G. has been living his best life following his 11 years in prison for firearm possession and conspiracy to obstruct justice, though Wack 100 was raising eyebrows earlier this week with allegations of snitching. “At first, I was feeling some type of way,” B.G. shared in an interview after hearing the allegations. “But, you know, the n***as who opinion matters reached out to me. Because I’ve been paying attention to this internet and this internet a fool. This s**t a beast, you heard me?”

After that conversation, the embattled artist had more to say while streaming on Instagram. On Thursday (December 29), B.G. markedly showed off his new chain, which showcases a rat resting peacefully in a coffin. “This my new little ice that I had to pull out. Snitches’ lives don’t matter,” he said to those tuning in. “You want to how this — open casket. That’s the rat in the casket. Casket closed.”

B.G. Continues to Deny Snitching Allegations

As HipHopDX notes, B.G. was also previewing even more new music in the background of his stream. After spending over a decade behind bars, it’s no surprise that the 43-year-old has so much to say when he hops in the booth. His most recent solo effort is “Get Back,” which landed in November. Before that, we heard B.G. on “Yonce Freestyle” with Sexyy Red and Kevin Gates, as well as the New Orleans Remix of Maino’s “For My City.”

B.G. has been staying seriously booked and busy since his return home from prison earlier in 2023. We’ve seen her showing her famous father plenty of love this year, from recreating one of his most famous looks for Halloween to flying overseas to be with Ye in Dubai as he finished his LP.

In the fall, sources were suggesting that West was planning to remain in the Middle East for Christmas. It was said that ex-wife Kim Kardashian might fly their four children to Italy to be with the DONDA rapper and his new partner, Bianca Censori. We now know they came to a different agreement. The evening of Santa’s visit the kids were at the annual Kar-Jenner festive gathering. Blue Ivy Carter also spent her night at the star-studded function. On Christmas Day, North and her two little brothers hit up the Lakers game with Kanye.

It’s unclear whether the singer and actress will use this fit for something grander or if they just wanted to pop off and go a little bit harder on the “a very extra Christmas” front. Either way, the results certainly speak for themselves, and we can’t imagine what they might do as an on-screen Grinch. After all, the Kansas City native is intertwining the worlds of movies and music more than ever these days.

Whether this Grinch outfit is for a video, some promo material, or just for fun, we’re glad that they’re celebrating with style and joy. This was an excellent year for Janelle Monae: their album The Age Of Pleasure, while not as conceptually daunting as previous work, still ranks as one of 2023’s best, waviest, and most soothing auditory offerings. In addition, they also caused a lot of noise with their tour and proudly stamped their identity into the industry as always. Hopefully 2024 yields even more great things in whatever artistic lane will be tackled next.

For her latest transformation, Bardi swapped out her signature jet black hair for a long, platinum blonde wig, which she paired with a stunning white fur coat to film a clip for Instagram earlier this weekend.

Before long, the Barbz and even Minaj pointed out that the Queen of Rap previously stepped out in a similar style. “B**ches Jackin. I’m still Queenin,” she wrote in her caption on Saturday (December 23). In both photos, the mother of one’s hair sits in a shoulder-length 613 style, bringing out the golden tones in her complexion more than usual. Of course, Nicki isn’t the first lyricist to style herself like this either, but her fans seem to enjoy stressing Cardi out by drawing comparisons between the two women.

Lil Uzi Vert Reiterates Musical Retirement, Announces Pivot To Fashion Design

Lil Uzi Vert has reiterated their plan to retire from music after Luv Is Rage 3. Speaking with TMZ, Uzi said that they still love making music but have lost their love for the craft itself. However, Uzi did not that their retirement would not be official until they released Luv Is Rage 3 and filmed a video for “Everybody”, their collab with Nicki Minaj on Pink Friday 2.

Furthermore, Uzi revealed that they plan to pivot from music to fashion design, speaking excitedly about their grand plans for a women’s clothing line. While Uzi didn’t reveal too much, they did note that construction is underway for the clothing company’s office.

However, Uzi’s team is very keen for the rapper not to retire. Their original retirement announcement was met with fierce opposition from their own camp. “Uzi, please don’t retire! Love, your Generation Now family. Love, your Diop Agency family,” read a billboard in Philadelphia’s Fashion District. Despite this, Uzi has had their heart set on retirement for most of this year. “No, relax. It’s okay. After Luv Is Rage 3, I guess I will go on another tour for Luv Is Rage 3. But after that, I wanna try to live a normal life,” Uzi told a concert in Chicago in November.

Meanwhile, Uzi has been leaving music in style. At a November show, they embraced their inner Rod Wave, jumping off a balcony into the crowd below. Uzi had been standing on the ledge in front of the VIP section, getting the crowd hyped. A couple of times, they leaned back and let the VIPs keep them upright. Then, Uzi carefully hopped over the balcony and jumped about five or six feet into the section below, briefly disappearing before bouncing back up and presumably heading for the stage. Of course, Wave has gotten a fair amount of backlash for the stunt. Many fans have accused him of “glorifying suicide” through it. However, Wave’s continued performance of the balcony jump shows how he feels about that line of thinking.

Earlier this weekend, Bardi’s Instagram Story lit up with new videos showing off her bold appearance change. In one clip, she wraps herself in a plush, white fur coat, carrying a small black purse and smiling at her reflection in the mirror.
