Queen Latifah Captivates Fans With Her Grand National Anthem Performance

The Dallas Cowboys absolutely decimated the New York Giants at Metlife Stadium last night on September 10. To be specific the final score was 40-0 as the Cowboys’ defense made Daniel Jones and the offense look totally abysmal all night long. However, the despondent Giants’ fans at least got to witness a spectacle before the massacre began. On one of the biggest stages, Queen Latifah put on a dazzling performance of the national anthem.

A true great in the hip-hop and R&B space, Latifah got some help from the nation’s toughest individuals. The armed forces added to the amazing show with their gorgeous and in-sync background vocals. Pairing that with Latifah’s deep and soulful voice was a match made in heaven. It was the perfect way to reintroduce Sunday Night Football back to America. During the broadcast, they showed some of the players and coaches, including the Giants’ star running back Saquon Barkley. It seemed like he was in the process of tearing up during Latifah’s rendition and we do not blame him.

Diana Ross Sings Happy Birthday To Beyonce During Los Angeles Show

Beyonce had the grandest, most celebrated, and most anticipated 42nd birthday that will probably ever take place. Of course, a big part of that is because she held a star-studded RENAISSANCE tour show in Los Angeles on Monday (September 5). There’s no way that any concert from the trek would be anything other than hyped to the heavens, and each show proved that in its own way. Still, there was particular pressure for this show to be something truly special, not for the fans, but for Queen Bey. Turns out that previous reports were true, and one of music’s greatest legends came out on stage to wish the Houston superstar a glorious day.

Moreover, the one and only Diana Ross emerged during the performance to sing happy birthday to Beyonce along with 60 to 70,000 fans in attendance. Unsurprisingly, the “CUFF IT” singer could barely express her excitement and emotion in the moment, and embraced and thanked Ross for being there that night. Overall, it was a show filled with instances like these where she could really feel the love. After all, a four-minute standing ovation, balloons, and all your staff wearing party hats will do that to you.

On the Parkwood Instagram page, Beyonce (by proxy) shared a new song to celebrate her birthday. It’s called “Nine Four Eight One” (a reference to her birth date… shocking, we know) and was put together by TS Madison, Kevin Aviance, and Kevin JZ Prodigy.

It’s exactly what you expect from this era: a shimmering, house-inspired, empowering, and above all fun cut. Blueface Sings Chrisean Rock’s Song To Her For Comfort On “Crazy In Love”

Through the Zeus Network reality TV show “Crazy In Love,” audiences have seen Blueface and Chrisean Rock’s complicated relationship in all its highs and lows. Sometimes, the pregnant “Baddies” star twerks on her boo, and other times, she gets sad and in her feelings. When you’re dating someone as volatile, outspoken, and playful as the California rapper, though, those moments don’t last long. Sure, sometimes the emotion that replaces that is more angry than it is happy, but this time it leaned positive. Moreover, on this week’s new episode, Blue and his friend MK actually try to cheer Chrisean up ahead of a performance.

In the clip, the two ask Chrisean Rock what’s wrong, as she seems dejected and has a frown on her face in the apartment. Apparently, she had a show to look forward to, but wasn’t really feeling that excitement in the moment. Then, Blueface and MK remark that they “thought it was a vibe all the time,” referring to her single “vibe.” In fact, they started to sing the song to her word for word to say that she’ll be fine and that it’s no big deal, but Chrisean didn’t budge.

Of course, that happened a long time ago, and we’re only just now seeing these moments air on television. However, fans and audiences also have plenty to keep up with right now, because as of writing this article, Chrisean Rock is in labor with the “BDD” MC’s kid. Hopefully everything goes swimmingly for her during this process and she gets her healthy and happy bundle of joy. Despite her relationship with Blueface still being quite rocky, fans wish that this will prompt a less toxic bond moving forward. Considering their history, it might be a big gamble, but they’ve also never really had a child in the world to change their perspective on (and treatment of) each other.

Meanwhile, we’re sure that the rest of “Crazy In Love” will yield more wild, sad, and wholesome moments. Of the plenty of highlights on Drake and 21 Sav’s Her Loss, “Rich Flex” might be the catchiest (and most annoying) song these days. While that has little to do with the song itself, it has everything to do with the viral meme attached to it. Ever since the collaborative album’s release, we’ve all been having a chuckle whenever we hear “21, can you do something for me?” Given that the album’s been out for almost a year now, the meme’s certainly had enough time to fade out, and probably has for a lot of people. If you’re “a lot of people,” then you might be disappointed to hear that it’s still finding new life in new fans- most notably, the artist’s own child.

Furthermore, Drake’s son Adonis went to just one of his shows so far, and he shared clips of the little one singing that part of “Rich Flex” incessantly after doing so. One of them shows Adonis singing to the camera, and in another he’s holding an imaginary microphone, busting a move, and jumping all over the couch as he repeats “21, can you do something for me?” over and over again. To be fair, we’d probably have it stuck in our heads too after our first 6 God show. In addition, it hints at how hilarious it will be to see Adonis discover his dad’s catalog in the future.

With so many hits and eras to choose from, maybe Adonis will obsess over older songs in his catalog at some point. Regardless of how overplayed many people think “Rich Flex” is, at least it has a more wholesome context now. After all, just watching this video once will probably get Drake’s line stuck in your head for the next few hours. Now, at least you can think about sharing an experience with his son to cope with that ear worm.

Meanwhile, the Canadian superstar enjoyed his son’s presence at one of his recent shows. However, he set some ground rules, and told people to refrain from throwing bras on stage. DDG Sings Along To Halle Bailey’s “The Little Mermaid” Song

DDG sang along to one of Halle Bailey’s songs from her upcoming film, The Little Mermaid, during a recent live stream. In the clip, shared by The Neighborhood Talk on Instagram, DDG sings along to the song, “Part of Your World.” The track was featured in the original animated Disney film when it was sung by Jodi Benson.

It’s unclear exactly when DDG and Bailey began dating, but the two were spotted at Usher’s Las Vegas Residency in early 2022. They eventually made things Instagram official in March of that year.

The new video comes after Halle Bailey recently reaffirmed her commitment to the rapper amid rumors about their breakup. She explained that the rumors have caused her to set boundaries with her social media usage during a recent interview. “The biggest thing I’ve learned in dating when it comes to dating in the public eye, is that everybody’s gonna have an opinion about you, whether it’s good or bad” she reflected. “I’ve had this since I was younger. I think because I’ve grown up, kind of in the public eye, people think they have this sort of… I don’t know, that they can say what they feel about my life. Like they do with everyone in the public eye. But I’ve realized, for me, I just go with my heart.”

Bailey added: “It’s hard when you’re in the public eye because social media is also a part of your work, it’s a big part of what I do! I have to set healthy boundaries for myself, ‘cuz just like anyone, if you see all these people saying whatever they want about you, your life, what you choose to decide… That could take a toll on anyone, so I just have to choose to step aside and not look at any of that.”
