Saweetie Seems To Respond To Chris Brown’s Quavo Diss Alluding To Her

Did everyone choose violence in 2024 (except J. Cole regretting his initial decision) or is this just the most coincidentally hostile time in rap’s history? Moreover, the latest info brewing in hip-hop’s butcher shop is the beef between Chris Brown and Quavo, which just escalated in a nasty and absolutely ruthless way with the former’s “Weakest Link” diss against the latter. On it, he includes the following lines alluding to the former Migo’s ex, Saweetie. “You f***ed my ex-h*e, that’s cool, I don’t give no f**k, lil’ n***a,” Breezy raps. “‘Cause I f***ed your ex when you were still with her, b***h, I’m up, lil’ n***a.”

“They say revenge is sweet, now think about that s**t,” Chris Brown continued against Quavo. “Don’t let that line go over your head, I might just sing about that s**t / I had her fiending about that d**k, there’s something sweet about that s**t / I got some tea about that b***h, but I ain’t gon’ speak about that s**t.” Well, it looks like Saweetie herself has something to say about this whole debacle about these MCs’ exes, as she took to Twitter early Saturday morning (April 20) to seemingly react to this diss. “let me go rewrite these nani verses,” she wrote, and a couple of hours prior late Friday night (April 19), she had tweeted “WHEW ! CHILE.” seemingly before the song came out, indicating that she perhaps knew of its existence before the public. That’s entirely speculative, though, and just a theory with no real proof or backing.

Regardless, the “nani verses” the Los Angeles MC’s referring to is a new song she’s coming out with very soon, which had and still has die-hards very excited. In fact, they’re probably more excited now than they were then considering this Chris Brown and Quavo beef. However, it’s hard to call whether Saweetie will really respond to any of this. After all, she’s not usually one to get into explicit or speculated beef despite some past examples, and this would be one of the more direct callouts she’s ever been involved in.

Meanwhile, the Icy Girl seems to still be with YG and having a great time as a couple right now following break-up rumors. Will he have to step into the booth to defend his girl? Only time will tell. For more news and the latest updates on Saweetie, Chris Brown, and Quavo, check back in with HNHH.

Saweetie Responds To Accidentally “Picking A Side” In GloRilla & JT Beef

Saweetie is well-known for her unbothered responses on social media, even when they might accidentally relate to beef between fellow femcees. Moreover, she recently liked a tweet from JT about her previous mugshots which left one blank, indicating that she’s down to go back to jail over her current beef with GloRilla. It was a short-lived social media spat between the two over the weekend with no follow-up so far, which could change very soon. When a fan pointed out that the Los Angeles native “accidentally supported something in the middle of a fight,” she had this to say: “who I’m fighting?”

As such, it seems like she either didn’t check the rest of her timeline before the like or didn’t really think it would be that big of a deal. Either way, assuming a Twitter like means you’re out for blood over another’s opponent is a pretty silly and presumptuous idea. After all, Saweetie is probably a little too busy right now with her own career moves to worry about what everyone else is doing all the time. For example, she teased a new single, “Nani,” that has some fans predicting it as a guaranteed summer smash.

Saweetie Reacts To Assumption She Supports JT Against GloRilla

Meanwhile, this would be a pretty big follow-up to some other interesting releases and collaborations as of late, such as “Khutti” with Punjabi MC Diljit Donsanjh. With each passing week, it seems like Saweetie is prepping for a really big 2024, and it looks like she doesn’t want anything to do with the current wave of femcee beef this year. Of course, this could all change very soon, but she’s never really been that type of artist in the first place, at least beyond fan theories. We wouldn’t really put any money on it, though.

Another recently shut-down rumor concerning the Icy Girl was her split from YG, something they were quick to dispel with a joint Rolling Loud L.A. appearance. With all this in mind, let’s hope that the rumor mill slows down at least a little bit throughout the year. Or at least, that she’ll stay just as cozily unaffected. For more news and the latest updates on Saweetie, come back to HNHH.

Saweetie Teases New Song “Nani” And Fans Are Absolutely Loving It

Saweetie has been promoting the release of her major label debut, Pretty B*tch Music, since 2020, but fans have yet to get a proper release date or tracklist. The last official single from the album came out in 2022 (!), which is an eternity in hip-hop time. Fortunately, Saweetie is back in album mode, as evidenced by a snippet she posted on social media. The snippet is titled “Nani,” and fans are loving it.

The snippet of “Nani,” which runs just under thirty seconds, was posted on Saweetie’s Instagram and Twitter accounts. It’s accompanied by a video of the rapper dancing next to a swimming pool and lip-syncing the lyrics. It has all the makings of a summer smash, and the feedback has been strong. The consensus among Twitter users is that Saweetie has a hit on her hands, and has returned to form after the controversial single “Richtivities.”

Fans Are Loving Saweetie’s Snippet

The artist’s skyrocketing career hit some turbulence as her 2022 EP The Single Life sold a surprisingly low number of copies. The rapper has put out less material since, but nearly all of the responses to the new snippet are ecstatic and encouraging. “Eats,” wrote one Twitter user. “Soft pretty girl upbeat music is just what the it girls needed.” Another praised Saweetie’s catchy flow, and called the snippet “pop star ish.”

To borrow a phrase from the late Aaliyah, if at first you don’t succeed dust yourself and try again.

Saweetie’s refreshed Pretty B*tch Music era is upon us. To kick off the wave, the rapper released the record “Richtivities.” But the best is yet to come. Yesterday (March 30), Saweetie teased what seems to be her next single, supposedly titled “Nani.”

Users online immediately took to the clip and demanded that Saweetie drop the whole track. Even GloRilla gave her stamp of approval.

“I like dis 🔥🔥🔥,” wrote the rapper.

“Okay, sis, this sounds like a cute little vibe. I could get behind this,” penned a user.

“I know a hit when I hear one,” wrote another.

“A pop summer hit omg,” chimed another.

“Oooooooo likeee! She really makes music for us pretty b*tches,” wrote another.

Saweetiehas yet to share a release date for the track. So, for now, the teaser will have to hold you over.

Saweetie is looking to make a strong comeback in 2024. As her fans eagerly wait for her to drop her first project since 2021, she is here to deliver a fun cross-culture collaboration. Saweetie is teaming up with Punjabi rapper Diljit Donsanjh for “Khutti.” This track has all the implications of a summer banger and it is well on its way to being a hit.

Are Saweetie And YG Back Together?

Earlier this year, The Shade Room reported that Saweetie and YG had ended their relationship after dating since at least May of last year.

And this is why you don’t listen to The Shade Room, or any of those Instagram gossip accounts, really. I have harped on the subject of reliable sources for months and months and stuff like this is why.

During YG and Tyga’s set at Rolling Loud California this past weekend, YG brought Saweetie onstage, where they got cozy and exchanged declarations of love.

The two West Coast rappers were rumored to be dating after collaborating together on multiple songs. Then, in May 2023, they were spotted taking a romantic vacation in Cabo. Since then, they’ve been seemingly inseparable, teaming up with Tyga for the Str8 To The Club tour last autumn and collaborating again on Saweetie’s summer single “Birthday” (again with Tyga).

Saweetie has been more actively promoting her solo music this year, releasing the single “Richtivities” and collaborating with fellow Bay Area native P-Lo for the 49ers playoff anthem “Do It For The Bay.” It certainly sounds like she’s rebooting her album rollout, which could mean that her long-awaited debut project is on the way.

YG and Saweetie Declare Their Love for Each Other On Stage

You can pump the brakes on the YG and Saweetie breakup rumors. During their set at Rolling Loud California, the two gave off big bae energy and professed their love.

“I love you girl,” YG said to Saweetie as she began to leave the stage.

Neither artist has made an official statement. You can see the moment below.

In February, Saweetie unveiled her latest “Richtivities” track under ICY/Warner Records. The song adds another dimension to the Northern California artist’s musical catalog with its infectious beat, confident lyrics, and undeniable swagger.

In “Richtivities,” Saweetie celebrates the empowerment of “pretty bitches” acronymized as B.I.T.C.H. (Boss, Intelligent, Tough, CEO, Hyphy), encouraging listeners to embrace their success and live boldly.

YG Brings Saweetie To Rolling Loud L.A., Couple Shuts Down Breakup Rumors

YG and Saweetie are apparently still going strong, as the former brought the latter out during his Rolling Loud performance in Los Angeles on Friday (March 15). Moreover, rumors and reports previously indicated that the two went their separate ways in early January, but their onstage PDA suggests that they either changed their minds or never broke up in the first place. “I love you girl,” the Cali rapper told his fellow Cali rapper as she made her way offstage following their steamy interlude. The two have been together since around May of 2023, and with their anniversary coming up, maybe their bond will feel stronger than ever.

However, we can’t say that this reunion is all that surprising, considering that fans were already starting to put two and two together. For example, Saweetie’s recent Instagram post from back in February had fans thinking that she hadn’t broken up with YG yet. Not only that, but news of their split was coming from other sources and reports that weren’t either of the MCs directly. As such, there were plenty of reasons to wait and see what they did, and we’re glad we waited to get this Rolling Loud guest slot.

Elsewhere, both artists are celebrating a lot these days and basking in their success and acclaim. For Saweetie, this recently manifested in a new single “Richtivities,” a stunning appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty, and an alleged incident with Cardi B at this event. This is just more hearsay and gossip, but one that’s also based on fan interpretation of the Bronx rapper’s recount. Perhaps we’ll never know if they really ran into each other here.

Meanwhile, the Still Brazy spitter was one of many guests on Ye and Ty Dolla $ign’s VULTURES 1. Their collab “DO IT” is among the more fun and bouncy cuts on the record, even if its second half is pretty much just “Back That Azz Up.” But can’t we all revisit what we love? Seems like this couple took a cue from those sessions. Fo more news and the latest updates on YG and Saweetie, come back to HNHH.

Saweetie Checkmates Twitter User Who Claimed She’s Not As Rich As She Says

Saweetie’s recent $25 million outfit for the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party turned a lot of heads for a lot of reasons. She stunned, she slayed, she served… but some folks think she deflected, too. Moreover, one particular Twitter user took to the social media platform on Monday (March 11) to allege that the California rapper isn’t actually as rich as she implies with her multi-million dollar fashion choices. “Ion be believing these celebrities got as much money as they act like they got,” the skeptic wrote. Then, she replied to this with a respectful and polite message, but one that pointed out that things aren’t exactly as they see them.

“How does ur thought correlate with this video?” Saweetie clapped back on Twitter, now known as X. “We get dressed to go to red carpets i never said they was mine… the fact that a video of a girl enjoying some diamonds provoked u says more about u than it does about me babes.” Of course, this is far from the first time that she responded to social media trolls in a notable way when it comes to her moves and releases this year.

However, don’t get it twisted: the 30-year-old isn’t all vindictive online or in person. In fact, that’s just a very small fraction of her attitude and perspective on the game, as she also takes plenty of time to push other female artists forward or show them the love that they deserve. For example, Saweetie and GloRilla recently linked up at Billboard‘s Women In Music Awards, rekindling and reaffirming their strong bond as femcees. Considering how the industry can break down relationships rather than nurture them, this constance is heartening to see.

Meanwhile, as the Icy Girl continues to set the record straight on her next project, fans can’t wait to see what’s in store. It’s one of the more anticipated releases in the rap world right now with a lot of history and patience-testing delays behind it. Now that it seems more likely than ever that it’ll drop soon, maybe we’ll get our reward for our patience sooner rather than later. Regardless, for more news and the latest updates on Saweetie, keep checking in with HNHH.

Saweetie Wore $25 Million At Oscars Afterparty, She Claims While Showing Off Her Look

Saweetie is a priceless entertainer, but that doesn’t mean that she’s not excited about flexing cash every once in a while. Moreover, she recently took to Instagram Live to show off, according to her, the $25 million look that she wore to Vanity Fair‘s Oscars afterparty last night (Sunday, March 10). The rapper donned a stunning and sparkly dress which was as seemingly diamond-encrusted as the various rings, bracelets, and necklaces that she wore. Overall, she definitely killed the look, and it’s a perfect one for her to indulge in her “Richtivities.” Even on one of entertainment’s biggest nights with a lot of other superstars, nobody could dim the 30-year-old’s light.

Furthermore, as an incredibly hard worker in many more areas than just music, she knows the true value of what she wore last night. But Saweetie also wants to set the record straight when it comes to her self-worth and that of her artistry. For example, her recent comments on the long wait for her album during an interview resulted in many people and outlets making false assumptions about what she meant. The Icy Girl clapped back at the idea that she’s not putting out music because there’s little interest from fans and audiences, and here’s what she actually said about this topic.

“I just feel like nobody was caring about my music,” Saweetie said of her team and those around her at the time. “To me, music is sacred. It’s coming from your spirit. You can’t just go finish an album in a week. That’s why it’s taking me so long. That’s why I haven’t dropped an album yet, I don’t mean to dampen the mood.

I was told I should twerk more on my Instagram,” she continued. “I was told that my voice was very boring, that I rapped too monotone and needed more energy. And I was told that I needed to share more of my life on the internet. I’m going to twerk when I want to. That’s not going to be my marketing. And if that’s what you truly love to do, then empower yourself through that.” For more news and the latest updates on Saweetie, keep checking in with HNHH.
