Cam’ron and Mase’s sports talk show It Is What It Is goes beyond athletics into pretty much every topic under the sun. As two seasoned MCs, they have a lot to say about the rap game, and as seasoned celebrities, they have a lot of unique perspectives on pop culture. One of these takes came concerning Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS clothing brand, which recently became an official partner of the NBA. In fact, Killa Cam couldn’t help but squint at his co-host when he revealed that he tried on a piece from the brand when he heard this news. The “Mo’ Money Mo’ Problems” spitter actually enjoyed how it fit, and the Dipset leader had to hold his tongue.

“I’m not gon’ lie,” Mase began his remarks on the shape-wear brand, which caused Cam’ron to prepare for some unfortunate roasts. “When I put the SKIMS tank top on, my ribs stopped hurting. So shoutout to SKIMS. I wouldn’t wear it, wear it but somebody sent it to me and I wanted to see. It wasn’t the one-piece, it was just the tank top.”

If you’re curious, he wore this fit to the The Haunted Castle party hosted by Bernice Burgos & P-Reala in Huntington, New York on Hallow’s Eve. With a pair of black Air Force 1s, Capo didn’t go full Nosferatu, but he certainly wasn’t getting any Playboi Carti fans to rock with him.

Jokes aside, this is just one of many frankly ridiculous but perhaps over-hated Halloween costumes from celebrities these days. If we’re going by the worst of the worst celeb costume standards, then Jim Jones didn’t fumble the bag here nearly as badly as people think. Now, shows like Chicken Shop Date and The Really Good Podcast are providing stars with unconventional opportunities to show off their personality. The former show seldom receives negative reviews. However, the latter – hosted by 26-year-old Bobbi Althoff – has come under fire for its uncomfortably awkward nature. Her most recent guest was Offset. It became abundantly clear that being married to Cardi B was all the preparation the former Migo needed to combat Althoff’s attitude.

Besides his upcoming album, Set and the host discussed plenty of relevant topics, including fashion, which the rapper has always been a big fan of. “I’m really fly tho, and it’s like, you don’t get it,” the father of five markedly told Althoff. Tyga Hit With Vicious Roasts Over Snippet With Vanilla Ice Sample

Tyga is someone who has had a lot of ebbs and flows throughout his career. Overall, he is known as someone who truly burst onto the scene back in the early 2010s. He became an immediate hitmaker who collaborated with some of the biggest artists in the world. However, in the mid to late 2010s, something shifted as he began dating Kylie Jenner. His career took a bit of a hit, but then, he was able to get back on track with songs like “Taste.”

That said, it has been a while since Tyga has come through with a certified hit. Although, he is definitely looking for some of that magic. After all, the summer is just a few days away, and the West Coast hitmaker is known for his summer jams. In fact, the artist recently took to social media where he showed off a snippet of a new song. This track even features a sample from Vanilla Ice’s “Ice Ice Baby,” which is a sample of “Under Pressure” by Queen and David Bowie.

Tyga Teases New Song

Unfortunately for Tyga, people are not feeling this new snippet at all. An account on Twitter posing as the real Pop Base made the claim that Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice will feature in the song. Overall, this is categorically false. However, that did not stop fans from sounding off on the sample and Tyga’s vocals on the track. At this point, it is very clear that the rapper is going to have to go back to the drawing board on this one.

“Folks gotta start tappin in with original producers man,” one user wrote. “It’s so very difficult to be an avid sampling advocate when the most common mainstream examples include someone taking a once popular catchy hook and reusing it as, you guessed it, a catchy hook,” said another. This is the third annual party for “P” who has been responsible for the success of a ton of amazing artists. Had it not been for Quality Control, we wouldn’t have the likes of Migos, Lil Baby, or Lil Yachty. That said, the artist pulled up to the party in an outfit that has a lot of people shaking their heads.

Gunplay Sends Cease & Desist To DJ Envy, Internet Trolls Roast Him

Now that his inaugural car show is done and dusted, DJ Envy appears ready to move on to bigger things. Unfortunately, the massive bout of drama that came along with with his charitable function is refusing to let go. Specifically, MMG artist Gunplay continues to lash out at The Breakfast Club host following their heated phone call earlier this week. At the time, the reality star recorded himself on the phone with Envy, at which time he expressed anger toward the media personality for talking about his daughter while also threatening to “slap the sh*t out of [him]” numerous times.

Gunplay later shared footage of the call on social media. It ultimately went viral, drawing more attention to the drama. It’s been pointed out online that Envy now has grounds to sue the 43-year-old. Instead, though, it’s the former who’s filed a cease and desist against the latter, claiming that the New Yorker’s comments about Gunplay and his family have been damaging to his mental health.

Gunplay Continues to Lash Out at DJ Envy

“I married a Ph.D. in criminology Karen ass Fed good luck I’mma let her take it from here buddy!” he wrote in the caption of a since-deleted Instagram post displaying the official document. “It has come to my attention that you have been making statements about my client(s), Vonshae Taylor-Morales and Richard Morales (Gunplay), that are false and misleading. These statements were averred and disseminated by you and your associates on a national, if not international level through a public forum,” the document begins.

The cease and desist later demands that Envy discontinue making “false, slanderous, and defamatory statements” about Gunplay, or damages will accordingly be sought in court. On social media, many are clowning the Miami native for taking such extremes when he’s not exactly innocent either. Of course, there are also some still showing support for the L&HH star.
