Rihanna And Her Son Arrive To Milan Fashion Week

Celebs have been frolicking to Milan for their ever-anticipated Fall/Winter 2023/24 Fashion Week, including Coi Leray and A$AP Rocky. Another notable attendee is slated Oscar performer Rihanna, who arrived on Thursday (Feb. 23) with her son in tow. The new mom was spotted in the Italian city as she hopped off her private jet at Malpensa Airport. Paparazzi immediately took to her little boy, who Rih and father A$AP Rocky recently revealed in their British Vogue cover story.

Clad in all-black, the soon-to-be mother of two breezed through the airport cradling her son, dressed in a brown teddy. This is his first-ever public appearance, with surely more to follow as they trip overseas. After the release of her Vogue issue, Rih Rih posted photos of the chunky-cheeked baby on her Instagram page to the joy of all. She even sparked outrage with the images after proclaiming “My boy is so fine!” in one of the captions. His actual name, however, has yet to be revealed, to the dismay of fans and spectators alike.

The Barbadian beauty seemingly revealed her latest pregnancy during her unforgettable Super Bowl LVII Halftime performance earlier this month. Moments after, reps for the star went on to confirm the exciting news. Rihanna—who recently celebrated her 35th birthday—reportedly began dating A$AP Rocky in 2020. The two are rumored to be planning their wedding, with the ceremony being held in her home country. “Throwing a wedding and having another baby are Rihanna’s main focus at the moment,” sources told RadarOnline.

Rihanna fans were in disarray in regards to the pregnancy news, with many believing she’ll now be giving up music completely. However, fans of the “Lift Me Up” singer will be delighted to hear she plans to release an album sooner than later. In Vogue, Rih tells the writer “it’d be ridiculous if it’s not this year. But I just want to have fun. I just want to make music and make videos.” Further in the article, she adds that she was waiting for the right time to drop but later decided against her initial thought. It has now been over seven years since Rihanna’s last full-length offering, her eighth studio album ANTI.

Rihanna’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Was Apparently Porn-Like, According To Some Of The 103 FFC Complaints It Received

Like the passage of time and Pusha T dropping a Cocaine Bear remix, FCC (Federal Communications Commission) complaints about major TV events are an inevitability. So, it turns out that some people out there didn’t particularly care for Rihanna’s Super Bowl Halftime Show earlier this month, so much so that they let the FCC know about it (as TMZ reports).

The publication notes that of the 103 FCC complaints made about the Super Bowl broadcast on February 12, “almost all of them” were about Rihanna’s performance. One viewer wrote in their complaint, “This year the halftime show was so indecent I had to turn off the TV because of the pornographic content.” Another compared it to Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ “Unholy” performance at the 2023 Grammys, writing, “I don’t care what someone worships but children shouldn’t be exposed to pornography and as an adult I don’t wish to see it. […] Where has decency gone? How about respect for others and self?”

Others made note of “overtly sexual dancing” in the performance, with one person saying Rihanna’s background dancers had moves that “were patently offensive and completely inappropriate for children.” Another person noted of Rihanna, “She spread her ass cheek at the crack. She rubbed her pants where her labia were three times.”

As TMZ notes, though, this is nothing to the infamous Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake wardrobe malfunction at the 2004 Super Bowl, which drew 540,000 complaints at the time.

Rihanna Prepares To Make History With Iconic Performance At The 2023 Oscars

Rihanna finally came out of hiatus after seven years with her Super Bowl LVII performance. Now the billionaire singer will be returning to the stage to burn down the 95th Academy Awards.

Variety reports the superstar singer will perform her Oscar-nominated song “Lift Me Up” from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack when the 2023 ceremony goes down live on ABC on March 12.

The song, with music by Tems, Rihanna, Ryan Coogler and Ludwig Goransson and lyrics by Tems and Ryan Coogler, stands as her first Oscar nomination with a nod for Best Original Song.

Rih will make history with the performance, becoming the first Black woman to perform at the Oscars while pregnant. Catherine Zeta-Jones is the only other person to do so – being eight months pregnant when she performed “I Move On” from “Chicago” at the 2003 Oscars with Queen Latifah.

Rihanna Confirmed To Perform At The Oscars

2023 is proving as a hot revival year for Rihanna, who is confirmed to perform in this year’s Oscars. “Lift Me Up,” which was of Riri’s rare releases since her 2016 Anti album, will be performed live. The track was released on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, which also features Stormzy, Tobe Nwigwe, and CKay. This soft and soulful ballad is also up for the Best Original Song award this year. Variety reports that this nomination marks the Barbadian singer’s first Oscars recognition.

Just earlier this month, Rihanna stunned fans with her Super Bowl halftime performance. Her energetic show relived the hype of the most recognizable hits of her career. Songs like “Rude Boy,” “Work,” and “Wild Thoughts” all lit up at the State Farm Stadium in Arizona. To top off her highly-anticipated performance, Rihanna confirmed her second pregnancy with rapper A$AP Rocky.

Rihanna Nominated For Her First Oscars With “Lift Me Up”

The 95th Academy Award ceremony will take place on March 12th this year, and the other nominations have already caused a stir amongst audiences. Although Black Panther: Wakanda Forever didn’t make it as a contender for Best Picture, Angela Bassett is nominated for her supporting role in the film. Additionally, Ruth Carter is up for her hair and makeup for the movie, while the visual effects team has received a nomination as well. In 2019, the prequel to Wakanda Forever ended up claiming three Oscars, including the Best Original Song award.

Last year, the Academy Awards made headlines for the controversial feud between host Chris Rock and Will Smith. The infamous slap that ensued has reportedly caused the award ceremony to enact a crisis team this year. With Jimmy Kimmel hosting the show this year, Bill Kramer, the CEO of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences reflected on his plan to combat any turbulence. He told Time Magazine, “it is our hope that we will be prepared for anything that we may not anticipate right now but that we’re planning for just in case it does happen.” For more news on pop culture and hip hop, don’t miss out on HNHH.

Rihanna Is Following The Super Bowl With Another Major Live Performance At The 2023 Oscars

The 95th Academy Awards are going down on March 12, and it was revealed today (February 23) that there’s going to be a major reason for music fans to tune in: Rihanna will be performing her Black Panther: Wakanda Forever song “Lift Me Up” during the Oscars broadcast.

This of course comes shortly after Rihanna’s beloved recent performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

“Lift Me Up” is nominated for Best Original Song at the 2023 ceremony (her first-ever Oscars nomination), as are Lady Gaga and Bloodpop’s “Hold My Hand” from Top Gun: Maverick; Diane Warren’s “Applause” from Tell It Like A Woman; M.M. Keeravaani and Chandrabose’s “Naatu Naatu” from RRR; and Ryan Lott, David Byrne, and Mitski’s “This Is A Life” from Everything Everywhere All At Once. “Naatu Naatu” already has one win this awards season, at it was named Best Original Song, Motion Picture at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards over nominees by Rihanna, Gaga, and others.

“Lift Me Up” co-writer Tems previously said of the song, “After speaking with [director Ryan Coogler] and hearing his direction for the film and the song, I wanted to write something that portrays a warm embrace from all the people that I’ve lost in my life. I tried to imagine what it would feel like if I could sing to them now and express how much I miss them. Rihanna has been an inspiration to me so hearing her convey this song is a great honor.”

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Reportedly Planning ‘Over-the-Top’ Wedding in Barbados

A$AP Rocky Confirms Relationship With Rihanna: 'She's The One'

Are wedding bells ringing? A source let RadarOnline in that Rihanna is eager to marry A$AP Rocky.

“Throwing a wedding and having another baby are Rihanna’s main focus at the moment,” the source said. “Agreeing to do the Super Bowl definitely reinvigorated her love of performing, but it still doesn’t compare to what she has at home. Luckily, A$AP’s on board, too.”

The source states Rihanna is hoping for Baby No. 2 to be a girl, but ultimately want three to four children in total. “Rihanna would love to have a girl next — she and A$AP even have names picked out already.”

Rihanna and A$AP are reportedly planning for an “over-the-top” wedding in Barbados where she is able to “run around barefoot.” Invitees are expected to be The Carters, Adele, and more.

Rihanna stepped out with A$AP Rocky to celebrate her 35th birthday. TMZ spotted the two headed to Giorgia Baldi in Santa Monica, which was prepped with decorations to celebrate the special occasion.

The A-list couple was joined by Rihanna’s bestie Melissa Forde and her brother Rorrey Fenty.

Rihanna’s birthday celebration comes before a second dose of motherhood. Last week, Rihanna hit the pages of British Vogue, and she killed every single one of those pictures. Fresh off her Super Bowl performance, Rihanna’s story highlights what her journey into motherhood is like, summarizing it as a “headf**k.”

“You don’t sleep. At all,” Rihanna said. “Not even if you wanted to.”

She added, “Man, you’re a zombie for the most part. You’re just going through the motions, and even then you’re so paranoid.”

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have yet to reveal their son’s name. He was born in May 2022, and the delivery was an intimate affair.

“It was just us as parents and our baby,” Rihanna said.. “You’re like, ‘They trusted us to come home with this baby? This new life? With us? No doctors, no nurses, we’re just … going home?’”

Rihanna didn’t know that she was pregnant again during the interview, but she mentioned she was open to more children.

Rihanna & A$AP Rocky’s Wedding Will Take Place In Barbados, Sources Say

While couples like Chrisean Rock and Blueface and DDG and Halle Bailey have been through the wringer lately, things have never been better for long-time lovers Rihanna and A$AP Rocky. Neither of them has given us an album in some time. The New Yorker’s Testing landed in 2017 and his girl’s last project, ANTI, came the year before that. What they have given us, however, are plenty of iconic fashion moments, and a baby (with another on the way).

With so much excitement surrounding them, it only makes sense that major rumours are beginning to swirl. According to RadarOnline‘s sources, the Bad Gal hears wedding bells in her future, and her baby daddy is on board. It remains unclear how much truth there is to the gossip. Still, fans are already drooling over the thought of Rihanna in a white designer dress.

Rocky & Rihanna’s Bond Grows Stronger

After welcoming their first child together last May, many could tell that the love Rocky already had for RiRi has only continued to grow. When she announced their second pregnancy during the NFL Halftime show earlier this month, the “Houston Old Head” hitmaker was all smiles. If RO‘s insiders are correct, this won’t be the last time we see the Fenty Beauty founder sporting a baby bump.

“Throwing a wedding and having another baby are Rihanna’s main focus at the moment,” they recently told the outlet. “Luckily, A$AP’s on board, too. She has talked about wanting three or four children in total.” Seeing as she’s already got a little boy on her hands, the “Diamonds” songstress is hoping for a girl this time. As it turns out, she and Rocky have even already chosen a few names.

She’s Always Been His “Fashion Killa”

Of course, the A$AP Mob member and the expecting mother were friends long before their relationship turned romantic. They previously collaborated on his “Fashion Killa” music video years ago. In the time since, they’ve steadily proven that their wardrobes are nothing short of inspiring. Of course, it obviously makes sense then that Rihanna is reportedly planning an “over-the-top” ceremony for her wedding.

Sources say she wants to be surrounded by family and friends in her native country while tying the knot. “She wants it to be in Barbados, a super glam event. But she also wants to be able to run around barefoot,” they dished, also listing potential attendees as Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Adele. Additionally, island food will be served and plenty of live music will keep the vibes high. It remains unclear when (and if) we’ll see Rihanna walk down the aisle to A$AP Rocky anytime soon, but we’ll surely keep you posted with any updates.
