Moreover, reports from TMZ indicated that the singer welcomed him into the world on August 3. Also, the publication alleged that his name also begins with an “R” like his brother RZA, his father Rocky (Rakim) and his mother RiRi (Robyn). Congratulatory messages and celebratory posts flooded social media, although it’s understandable why the celebrity couple would want to maintain their privacy during this time. Regardless of those wishes, we’re now getting the first wave of alleged reports concerning this birth.

For example, a source who claimed have insight into the family told PEOPLE of the Barbadian superstar’s alleged remarks about her new baby boy. “Rihanna feels her family is now complete… it’s something she’s always wanted,” they told the news outlet. As of writing this article, neither the “Lift Me Up” vocalist nor the “RIOT” MC have spoken out about this beautiful occasion on social media. With that in mind, take these with a grain of salt, but we doubt they’re feeling anything less than wonderful right now.

Earlier this month, Rihanna and her first son RZA starred in the new maternity capsule campaign for Savage X Fenty. The collection includes the Savage Not Sorry Lace Maternity Bralette, the Savage X Cotton Maternity Bralette, and the Floral Lace Maternity Bralette. Additionally, there is a “MAKE MORE BABIES” t-shirt.

Rihanna also strolled down memory lane, dropping a collection of images from her first pregnancy, which she calls “Rub on ya titties.”

Rihanna revealed her second pregnancy while performing for the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show. A baby bump poked through Rihanna’s red jumpsuit as she performed classics like “Umbrella,” “Diamonds,” and more. A rep for Rihanna confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that she is pregnant. Speaking with NFL Network analyst Nate Burleson, Rihanna teased a surprise appearance during her performance. That appearance was her new baby.

Rihanna has reportedly given birth to her and ASAP Rocky’s second child. According to TMZ, Rihanna gave birth on August 3 in Los Angeles, but has kept things quiet after making the announcement of her pregnancy in the flashiest way possible during her February Super Bowl Halftime Show performance. Rihanna and Rocky had their first child, who they named after RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan, back in May of 2022. Since then, Rihanna has added maternity bras to her Savage X Fenty lingerie line, while Rocky has hinted multiple times that the couple also secretly got married.

How this affects the couple’s future music plans remains to be seen. Rocky has been teasing his upcoming album, Don’t Be Dumb, since late last year, apparently beginning the rollout with his new single, “Riot (Rowdy Pipe’n),” after “putting the finishing touches” on the album back in January. He also previously released the single “Sh*ttin’ Me,” his first solo release in nearly three years, last December.

Rihanna’s comeback album, meanwhile, has been the subject of much speculation and a long-running meme involving playfully paranoid banter between the singer and her fans. While she did mention in February that she wants to release the album sometime this year, with a newborn to look after, those plans may just get postponed. Rather, she and Rocky are the proud parents of two little boys. It’s unclear what they’ve named RZA’s little brother, though the outlet says they’ve decided on a moniker that begins with R. Seeing as their born names are Robyn and Rakim, it only feels fitting that their offspring would continue on with the tradition. The little one arrived in Los Angeles, and from what we know so far, he’s healthy and happy as can be, just like his sibling.

As Page Six notes, on Monday (August 14), the Atlanta-based entertainer showed off an adorable Y2K-inspired outfit. It left her baby bump – and her fun-loving personality – on full display.

“CiCi Mama 🙈☎,” the “Jump” hitmaker wrote in her caption. Her photo dump begins with a snapshot of her pretending to answer a vintage, red lip-shaped phone. Ciara’s black and blonde hair was styled in two messy ponytails atop her head. She also layered an abundance of necklaces over her chest. Covering her upper half was a groovy, pink and orange knit sweatshirt. She was brave enough to don baggy jeans in the August heat with a gothic pair of spike-clad boots.

For once, Azealia Banks is using her social media platform to spread positivity about other artists (though it didn’t last long before her Instagram Story posts once again took a turn for the negative). To begin her weekend, the New York native shared her thoughts on Cardi B, revealing that the mother of two is actually much kinder than the public perception seems to paint her. “[Cardi] genuinely reached out when I was having a real rough time mentally during the pandemic and it was really so heartwarming and helpful,” Banks wrote over a black screen.

She further noted that the Invasion of Privacy artist “isn’t a bad person.” In fact, Azealia says “she’s really a sweetie pie” who she would “highkey love to kiki with.” Another female entertainer that’s currently in the embattled lyricists’ good graces is Tinashe. “It’s time to put some respect on [her] name,” Banks told her followers in another post.

It didn’t last, however, as a few slides later Banks had some thoughts on the ongoing discourse about New York’s best rappers. “Now why would y’all gas Rocky like this? Like he got a single memorable bar worth repeating?” she asked. “I grew up with Rocky, he’s always had imposter syndrome.

She went on to notably praise ASAP Ferg and ASAP Nast for their contributions to East Coast hip-hop, but not before insulting the intelligence of Rocky’s girlfriend. “Lol thank god Rihanna is not smart enough to have snagged Relli,” she name-dropped another member of the ASAP crew. “That’s the type of d**k you have to fight a b**ch in the streets for,” Azealia continued.

Noname Goes On The Attack To Diss Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna, And Kendrick Lamar On Her Fiery New Single ‘Namesake’

Noname is back and even more radical than ever. Her five-year hiatus between projects left her with a slew of topics to address on her new album, Sundial. The first item up for discussion is several musicians’ alignment with the NFL. On her fiery Slimwave-produced track “Namesake,” Noname directly aims at Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Kendrick Lamar for lending their talents to the National Football League.

Noname doesn’t mince words in her diss when the track opens, rapping, “Read in between the line at the crime scene / I ain’t f*cking with the NFL or Jay-Z / Propaganda for the military complex, the same gun that shot lil’ Terry / Out West, the same gun that shot Senair in the West Bank / We all think the Super Bowl is the best thing.” In this line, Noname calls out Jay-Z for entering into a partnership with the sports league despite the criticism it has faced over the treatment of its majority Black players, including former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

Following in the line of attack, Noname turns her pen towards Rihanna and Kendrick Lamar, who at one point spoke out in support of Kaepernick’s sideline activism. Somehow, later they both performed at the Super Bowl Halftime Show. For Kendrick Lamar, that was in 2022. Rihanna was this year’s headliner. Beyoncé seemingly used her 2016 performance to advocate for police reform, but in the eyes of Noname, it is simply performative.

“Go, Rihanna, go! Watch the fighter jet fly high / War machine gets glamorized, we play the game to pass the time / Go, Beyoncé, go! Watch the fighter jet fly high / War machine gets glamorized, we play the game to pass the time / Go, Kendrick, go! Watch the fighter jet fly high / War machine gets glamorized, we play the game to pass the time,” raps Noname.

To be fair, those aren’t the only entertainers to feel Noname’s vicious sting. She also delivers a gut punch to herself in the line, “Go, Noname, go! Coachella stage got sanitized / I said I wouldn’t perform for them, and somehow I still fell in line f*ck!” No one is beyond reproach on the track, not even Noname.

Noname Sends Shots At Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce, Jay-Z On New Song

Noname is one of the most talented and creative lyricists in the game, and she just returned to prove that with her new album Sundial. Not only that, but it’s her first in five years since her excellent LP Room 25 back in 2018, and follows a lot of reflection, growth, and unfortunately, injustice. Moreover, on her new track “Namesake” off of this new project, the Chicago rapper tackles the systemic issues of the NFL, and calls out a few massive musicians who worked with the organization. For those unaware, the sports giant is not a huge cog in the military entertainment complex, but amid protests from player Colin Kaepernick for police brutality and systemic racism, the league essentially cut his career short.

Furthermore, Noname specifically disses Jay-Z, who partnered with the NFL in 2019 to manage its live music events and to its social justice programs. In addition, the 31-year-old addresses multiple artists who performed at the Super Bowl despite the organization’s misguided ties. These are Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé, and Rihanna, who have all advocated for racial justice at one point in their careers, or throughout all of it. However, Fatimah Nyeema Warner also points the blame on herself as well, hinting that these are much more nuanced and difficult issues than a simple criticism conveys.

Noname’s “Namesake”

“Read in between the line at the crime scene / I ain’t f***ing with the NFL or Jay-Z,” Noname raps. “Propaganda for the military complex, the same gun that shot lil’ Terry / Out West, the same gun that shot Senair in the West Bank / We all think the Super Bowl is the best thing.” Then, she swaps out Kendrick, Beyonce, and Rihanna’s names in the following line, repeated thrice. “Go, [artist], go! Watch the fighter jet fly high / War machine gets glamorized, we play the game to pass the time.” Finally, the Telefone MC flips the script on herself. “Go, Noname, go! Coachella stage got sanitized / I said I wouldn’t perform for them and somehow I still fell in line… f**k!”

Meanwhile, considering that these are all artists with Black heritage at the least, it’s at least a compromise to see them perform on this stage for multiple years in a row. However, the issues that Noname speaks on are much larger than a performance. To call it a diss would be misleading; it’s about accountability, power, personal gain, and the systemic issues that drive artists between a rock and a hard place. Of course, this is just one vague report on social media, so take it with a grain of salt until we get official confirmation from other sources, preferably the parents themselves.
